They gave my wife and me tremendous help and professional guidance throughout the process. At every step, they were available to answer questions and clarify anything we were unsure about or needed to know. I highly recommend that anyone interested contact them!

I went there to build a family, but I spent more than $6,000 and got no results.

I left a voicemail and several text messages but have still received no response. Very disappointing.

I was dissatisfied with the intake process and consultation. I felt they did not care whether my insurance was accepted and made no effort to help resolve the issue. I still do not understand the $50 charge. I hoped to receive proper care from someone who genuinely cared about my fertility concerns. I am very disappointed.

Without Dr. Matanes, my life would have no meaning. Thanks to his dedication and pioneering treatment, I am now the proud mother of two wonderful sons, ages 27 and 25. I suffered from recurrent miscarriages at a time when there seemed to be no solution. Dr. Matanes did everything possible to find a treatment. He went beyond conventional therapy, actively sought help, collaborated with others, and used every available resource to develop an effective treatment plan. His persistence and compassion completely changed the course of my life. His work was groundbreaking, and I will always remember the hope he gave me when I felt hopeless. I am forever grateful for his expertise, kindness, and the precious gift of a family.

I saw Dr. Madanes and eventually conceived naturally. When I later had difficulty conceiving a second time, I returned to Dr. Madonna after my insurance changed. I gave them my insurance card and told them three times before seeing anyone that the insurance had changed. We started the appointment, and they asked again about insurance. I repeated that it had changed. We planned to do testing, though I doubted we would proceed beyond that. Halfway through testing, they said my insurance had changed, I no longer had coverage, and I would have to pay full price for everything. I asked what it would cost if I completed only the tests and not IVF. They said it would cost much more because I did not plan to proceed with IVF. I canceled all appointments but later received bills for those already completed, which I do not believe we should pay because we will not receive the test results.

I love MFC. The staff are very kind, and Dr. Madanes is caring and patient. He took time to hear every concern and answer every question. The staff feel like family, and the MFC team is always ready to help, making our fertility journey easier.

The Munster staff are very friendly. However, it is frustrating to ask several times before leaving whether you owe anything, be told no, and then receive a call an hour later demanding payment by phone. It is also highly unprofessional for staff to confuse you with another patient. The woman at Downers Grove was extremely rude. They canceled my appointment three days beforehand, saying the doctor had an “emergency,” but offered testing the day before. When I said that did not work with my schedule, she replied, “That is not my problem. You can wait until next month or come when he can do the test.” I asked for a refund of the prepaid test fee, and she said, “Absolutely not. We will apply it to your next test.” I wanted a refund and to pay when the test was completed, but she refused. I called the surgical center and argued until I cried. I had also requested my test results, and they said they would email them. I asked for a paper copy of my ultrasound report so I could go elsewhere. My husband eventually drove almost two hours to Downers Grove to collect the results in person. He got them to promise to mail a check immediately, but they gave him a poor copy of the ultrasound report that no doctor could interpret. When we asked why they could not refund my card, they said it was “against policy.” After three weeks without a check, he called and was told, “I will handle it personally and mail it tomorrow.” We finally received our money a month later. They had not mailed the check when we first requested it. I then went to Munster, asked them to cancel my remaining appointments, and explained what had been said and how Downers Grove handled everything. I heard they had previous problems with the same woman treating patients badly. Why is she still there?! This is a fertility center. People come for help getting pregnant—why cause them so much stress?! A supervisor called and said I could attend on the original appointment day with a covering doctor. If someone was available to perform the test, why was that not offered earlier? I also found that unprofessional. I continued receiving reminders for appointments I had asked them to cancel. It took three calls to get everything canceled. The woman on the phone merely said, “Oh, we thought you meant everyone.” I confirmed that I owed nothing and was told everything had been paid. A month later, I received a bill for a completed test they had said was paid, with only 6 days until the due date!!! It arrived before I had even received the service statement. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are extremely unprofessional, and there were already so many bad reviews. I wish I had listened. This place is a joke.

Thank you to Midwest Fertility Center, Dr. Madanes, and the staff for making our dream of having a family come true. Your office staff felt like family to us, which is one reason we loved your practice. Dr. Madanes was wonderful, and we will always be grateful for everything he did to help us.

This clinic is a joke.

I really wanted to write this review for Nurse Christina, who takes you to the Downers Grove Surgical Center for procedures. She was my nurse for both procedures and is truly the sweetest, kindest person ever! Thank you for making me comfortable and explaining everything. Dr. Madanes is also very caring and kind. He treats patients well and simply wants to help.

This place is the worst. The doctor is an absolute fraud. He scheduled my egg retrieval and obtained zero eggs after counting more than 30 the day before. This not only makes no sense but was 100% due to the doctor's error, as my new IVF doctor confirmed. These people only want your money, and they charged me for every call. When I woke after surgery and was told there were zero eggs, they made sure no one saw me and quickly escorted me to my car. Extremely unprofessional.

This was a terrible experience. I strongly recommend finding another clinic where you are treated as part of your treatment plan!

We had a disastrous experience at this clinic. From the beginning, the provider used scare tactics, citing frightening statistics during the initial consultation. However, things did not take a disturbing turn until the second or third appointment. The provider casually inserted words such as “cancer” and “tumor” into the conversation, causing our anxiety to soar. In addition, they strongly pushed donor eggs and insisted on anesthesia for a procedure that did not require it, raising doubts about their motives. Even worse, they refused to release her medical records. There were warning signs everywhere. My fiancé and I chose to take our business elsewhere, which speaks volumes about our disappointment with this clinic.
