I am 38 with unexplained infertility and male-factor infertility. I initially went to a clinic in Portland, Oregon, where the experience was very routine: one egg retrieval using a standard protocol resulted in 13 mature eggs, 2 blastocysts, and no PGT-A-normal embryos. The clinic did not recommend any additional testing or protocol changes for a second cycle. I then began looking for an out-of-state doctor and was referred to Dr. Kuo. I am not writing this review because I am now pregnant. Even if I were not pregnant, I would praise the attentive care I received just as highly. Dr. Kuo is the most thorough and detail-oriented doctor I have ever met. He never goes through the motions or rushes decisions just to keep things moving. He holds himself to exceptionally high standards, and as a patient, you can feel how much thought he puts into every decision. It is clear that he genuinely wants to do things correctly, not merely get you through a cycle. Before my second egg retrieval, he ordered additional testing for my husband that our previous clinic had never mentioned. We discovered very high sperm DNA fragmentation, so we treated it with clomiphene for three months before proceeding. During my retrieval cycle, I was monitored very closely, and my protocol was adjusted in real time based on my response. The difference in outcomes was remarkable. We went from 2 blastocysts and 0 normal embryos to 21 mature eggs, 9 blastocysts, and 3 PGT-A-normal embryos. Before transfer, he also found a uterine polyp that the previous clinic had missed, and I had it removed. My first transfer cycle was canceled because of bleeding and an unfavorable uterine environment. I believe many clinics would have proceeded anyway, but Dr. Kuo did not. We adjusted the plan, waited patiently, and ultimately completed the transfer successfully. The second transfer was very successful. At 8 weeks pregnant, I had a severe bleeding episode, and Dr. Kuo was exceptional in managing it. Over the next several days, he communicated with me directly every few hours, gave clear instructions, and monitored the situation in real time. I never felt alone. This communication model is unlike anything I have experienced in healthcare. You are in a group chat with Dr. Kuo and your coordinator and can reach them at any time. This convenient, efficient communication made an otherwise highly stressful process feel manageable. The entire clinic operates just as efficiently. Dr. Kuo personally performs every ultrasound, and you see him at every appointment. Visits start on time. You never have to wonder whom you will see or wait weeks for an answer. This level of consistency and accountability is rare in healthcare. My coordinator Ariana was wonderful. She was organized, calm, and fully informed about everything. Blue, Clarissa, and Lizette were also excellent. They knew my case, were actively involved, and genuinely cared about me. I never felt like one of many patients on an assembly line. If you feel something has been overlooked, if you have had a failed cycle without an explanation, or if you want a doctor who will truly think through your case instead of applying a standard protocol, see Dr. Kuo. Traveling out of state is absolutely worthwhile.

I cannot say enough good things about this IVF clinic! From start to finish, the care I received was first-rate. The entire team was professional, thoughtful, and always available to help. Without a doubt, this will be the most important five-star review I ever write. I never thought I would publicly share my IVF journey because it was the most challenging, personal, and private experience of my life, and I wanted to keep it confidential. But I have to set aside my pride to write this review because Dr. Guo deserves all the praise in the world. A little about me: I underwent multiple laparoscopies and hysteroscopies and had been trying to conceive since 2013, using Chinese and Western herbal medicine, acupuncture, and other methods to prepare my body. One doctor even told me I could not have children, and he ultimately gave up on me. I began IVF in 2019. I went to some of the highest-rated IVF centers and completed many cycles, but the results were poor because they focused more on profits and treated me like a number. They sugarcoated everything and sounded robotic, ultimately giving me false hope before delivering devastating news. After countless failed IVF cycles and transfers, I also developed depression. I spent hours online searching for the best IVF doctor in California, hoping to find some hope even though I felt I had very little life left in me. (I even considered going abroad if it came to that.) I paid for consultations with several more doctors, hoping someone would stop sugarcoating the truth, but they all said the same things, and I was misled through seven cycles. Then came Dr. Guo... Dr. Guo changed my life. He is not only a masterful physician, but also an exceptional and compassionate person. He puts his whole heart into everything and pursues perfection to achieve the best result, even when it requires more effort, time, and energy. From the beginning, Dr. Guo treated me as a real patient, not a source of income. He is the most meticulous, detail-oriented doctor, working seven days a week; one of my egg retrievals took place on Super Bowl Sunday. He is the most direct, honest, and professional doctor I have ever met. As if finding the perfect IVF doctor were not enough, my patient coordinator Blue is an incomparable gem. Across all my IVF treatments, including at other clinics, she is the best coordinator I have encountered. I am extremely discerning and have high standards, and Dr. Guo and Blue have set the bar so high that I do not believe anywhere else can compare. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I wasted enormous amounts of time and money on treatment elsewhere, where no one truly cared about me as a person. Dr. Guo has a higher success rate than any clinic in the world. Why? Because he goes the extra mile and does the additional work other clinics are unwilling to do to maximize success. Dr. Guo thinks outside the box, and all his methods are proven in practice. I believe everything Dr. Guo says and am 100% convinced that he is the best doctor; I have never felt this way about any other professional. He never cuts corners and gives his all. I feel that he gives you 100% at every visit. I have never seen another professional work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—he replies to almost every text without hesitation—and I cannot comprehend how he does it. But I believe his wholehearted dedication and passion for helping others are admirable and do not go unnoticed. I am incredibly fortunate to have met Dr. Guo and Blue, and choosing this clinic was the best decision of my life. I do not know what else to say. If you have read this far, do not hesitate. Dr. Guo is the real deal... He is a leader in IVF, the holy grail, a true superman, and a Hall of Famer!!!

We found Dr. Kuo's team during our IVF search and could hardly believe they had 5/5 reviews on every platform we checked. After reading them, we were excited to begin our fertility journey at IVF Fertility Center. From our first phone call with our coordinator, Blue, we were impressed by how organized and efficient the office was and by her ability to answer so many questions. I appreciated that Dr. Kuo reviewed all my previous medical records before our first consultation. He patiently explained every option and answered all our questions at every visit. They truly are a top-tier team. Dr. Kuo and Blue added us to a group chat where we could ask questions and receive real-time updates, and they truly were available 24/7. I felt very safe and supported following their advice. Blue also went out of her way to save us money and submit claims to our insurance even though the clinic was out of network and had no obligation to do so. Dr. Kuo's clinic is spotless and welcoming and, most importantly, the most efficient clinic I have ever visited, while still making you feel like their only patient that day. We were always happy to see them because they welcomed us like family and made us feel that they were a supportive family rooting for our success. The drive was long, but every visit was worthwhile. We became pregnant just as we were about to formally start a cycle, and we felt it was a miracle brought by Dr. Kuo and his energy! We loved his team so much that we were almost disappointed that we could not go through the full journey with them when we learned the good news. They kindly monitored the pregnancy until about 12 weeks, giving us time to transition to a local obstetrician. In early pregnancy, we had 3 ultrasounds with Dr. Kuo. He closely monitored my bloodwork and adjusted medication to help us safely through the most uncertain stage. Words cannot express our gratitude to the team during the first trimester. IVF Fertility Center would not be as successful without Dr. Kuo's equally outstanding team. Everyone is attentive and meticulous. I am very detail-oriented and frustrated by careless errors in healthcare, so the many reviews highlighting the clinic's attention to detail were a primary reason we contacted them. We mainly worked with Blue as our clinic coordinator. She was like an exceptionally kind older sister whom I could ask anything. When we used LH strips to track ovulation, she reviewed our daily photos and helped identify the most likely ovulation date. She handled many details, including reminding me when to start or stop medications, sending medication and lab orders to different places at our request, and helping us submit complicated insurance forms. She was central to our wonderful experience because she managed so much for Dr. Kuo, allowing him to focus on medical care. This is a 10/5 team, and it is unlikely that any future healthcare experience will surpass our experience at IVF Fertility Center. They truly are the best!

Dr. Kuo and his team are more skilled and dedicated than I could have imagined. From the initial consultation, I knew choosing his clinic was the right decision. During the consultation, he explained everything thoroughly in clear language and patiently answered all our questions. His extensive knowledge was evident, and I appreciated that his clinic uses more specialized treatment protocols than other clinics in many respects. After the consultation, you are assigned a care coordinator and added to a group chat. Receiving nearly immediate answers to any question or concern was wonderful and made me feel highly supported during a vulnerable time. My care coordinator, Clarissa, was amazing! She encouraged me to video call her before injections if needed, and she was always pleasant to talk to and work with. My experience would have been very different without her. At appointments, I rarely waited more than a few minutes, and every staff member was helpful and friendly. Going to the clinic almost every day was pleasant because everyone was considerate and caring; they felt like family. Throughout the process, Dr. Kuo remained attentive to my health and provided comprehensive, timely updates. Dr. Kuo has devoted his life to helping women overcome fertility problems, and I feel fortunate to have found him.

I am so glad I began my long journey with Dr. Kuo and Nurse Blue! I cannot imagine life without my two beautiful babies. In short, I completed only two embryo transfers and delivered two healthy babies. I believe Dr. Kuo achieved a high success rate for me because I followed instructions and he paid exceptional attention to detail. I also work in healthcare. Dr. Kuo is very confident and a leader in his specialty. Nurse Blue is amazing! She remembered every small detail about my labs, medications, and more, saving Dr. Kuo considerable time when adjusting my plan. I remember having a true emergency one night during my second pregnancy. I was terrified, and Dr. Kuo responded immediately and saved my baby. I trust him more than any other doctor. The drawback of IVF treatment is the price, but we are all in the same boat. Dr. Kuo's office was transparent about pricing, and in retrospect, it was absolutely worthwhile. My children are priceless! I am also glad I did not have to undergo additional cycles. IVF is difficult; be hopeful about your outcome, and if you choose this path, stay with it.

The clinic is extremely punctual and never keeps you waiting more than 3 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. It is also very clean and well equipped. We saw Dr. Kuo for every ultrasound, which he personally performed, and every question was answered the same day. This differs from other clinics where you wait for a portal message or can speak with the doctor only through a nurse who does not personally know your case. I had no pain at all after retrieval, which I believe was due to Dr. Kuo's expertise and technique. His experience is unmatched. He has high standards, is meticulous and dedicated, and works 7 days a week. His medication and transfer protocols are tailored to each patient rather than using the same protocol for everyone, as other clinics do. My first transfer succeeded, and as I write this while pregnant, I can only wish that Dr. Kuo could also deliver the baby. We traveled across the country from North Carolina to California for the retrieval and transfer, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Do not hesitate before scheduling a consultation.

A typical visit during a cycle is as follows: you enter the doctor's office 5 minutes before the appointment. At the scheduled time, never late, they take you for bloodwork, which occurs every two days, and then to the examination room with Dr. Kuo—Dr. Kuo every time—and your coordinator, Blue in our case. Immediately after the ultrasound, you go to Dr. Kuo's office to discuss the results and adjust medications. He also answers every question you have at each visit. You never feel rushed; this is your time. Later that afternoon, Dr. Kuo personally texts you after reviewing that day's bloodwork and provides further medication adjustments. This is by far the best service you could ask for! The coordinator is always available by text, email, and phone. There is no frustrating portal or nurse relaying messages to people unfamiliar with your cycle and situation. After two successful IVF cycles, we had far more embryos in storage than expected, especially considering our conditions and what other clinics had told us to expect. Our first transfer succeeded, and we will welcome our first child in a few months. Dr. Kuo and his team receive our strongest recommendation for IVF care.

We received personal phone numbers for Dr. Kuo, Blue, and Martin, and their responses were always prompt and reassuring. Even after I graduated from Dr. Kuo's clinic, he continued helping me adjust my TSH. I have my TSH checked every two weeks to determine whether my medication needs adjustment. Once it reaches a reassuring level, I will feel fully comfortable having my OB-GYN handle the rest. This ongoing support demonstrates their continued dedication to our care and well-being.
