    这是我第一次也是唯一一次接受不孕不育治疗,我的妇产科医生推荐我去Shady Grove寻求帮助,我真是太高兴了。到目前为止,我们遇到的每个人都非常友善、体贴和耐心。我强烈推荐他们!

Words cannot describe our terrible experience with this company. The doctors and nurses were wonderful, patient, and informative. The clinical staff took excellent care of my wife during our visits. But every other part of the company seemed openly intent on extracting every possible dollar from you and your insurer. Be very cautious with this organization’s front desk staff and administrators. At a procedure in Rockville, we were told we had to pay more than $1,200 upfront. We were not told this was only an estimate or offered the option to pay later. We were forced to prepay and told this amount reflected our out-of-pocket responsibility, but the actual cost was less than half the estimate. We discovered this only because our health reimbursement account (HRA) rejected the expense due to an SGF “billing error,” which I no longer believe was an error. It took more than three months to resolve the first problem and recover our money because they billed our insurer and then billed us separately for the same charge. For the past year, we have also been disputing other claims with this company, and the issues remain unresolved. They use different codes each time they submit a claim, so I cannot determine what the correct claim should be and must rely on the insurer’s explanations of benefits. They repeatedly submitted the same claim to the insurer; the latest bill included five pages of duplicate submissions. We were quoted one amount by phone, received a bill for another, and now have an email demanding a third amount that is higher than either prior figure. The company offers additional consultations about GLP-1 medications and genetic testing but does not disclose that consultations with its specialists cost hundreds of dollars and are entirely excluded from insurance coverage. Fortunately, we canceled one consultation before being charged again. It is unacceptable that a company with either such poor basic bookkeeping or a practice of deliberately overcharging customers can continue operating. I recommend researching alternatives before using this company, though I understand choices may be limited. After cancer forced me to undergo chemotherapy, we simply wanted to have a child.

This has been one of the most difficult experiences I have ever had. Problems have continued ever since we began working with this company. I first contacted the Hagerstown office, which is only a remote office and currently performs no actual procedures. The doctor was kind and made us feel confident about the treatment ahead. My first in-person clinic visit was in Frederick. I am very grateful to Milka, the nurse practitioner, and Julie, my initial contact. Both were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and considerate. After some preliminary treatment, we were excited to begin IVF injections and egg retrieval. However, after working with the company for nearly six months, they told me my BMI was too high for sedation and had to be below 40. My weight had not changed since we started, so I do not understand why it took so long for them to tell me. They then promoted a new GLP-1 program. I understood that the medication was not covered by insurance, but they did not tell me until one minute before the appointment that the GLP-1 nurse consultation was also not covered and that all visits, follow-ups, and medication would be self-pay. I canceled the appointment. For a year, I have dealt with their billing errors. I have been communicating with the SGF team and my insurance company, but SGF’s claims team does not seem to know how to process claims correctly. My insurance company ultimately submitted multiple duplicate claims, while SGF kept telling me they were still “pending.” I have sent SGF my explanations of benefits (EOBs) several times. It is now March 25, 2026, and I still do not have a final determination for services received on March 17. They seem unable to bill correctly. At the Rockville location, they overcharged me nearly $600 for a procedure and took more than three months to issue a refund. I have no confidence in their billing. They completely ruined our experience and created obstacles at every turn. We will never return, and if you plan to use insurance, I suggest considering other options. This is awful. After my husband completed chemotherapy for cancer, all we wanted was to have a child.

I know this is a satellite office where Dr. Bromer and the care coordinators provide consultations, but it is wonderful to have a quiet, small office for meetings with the care team. It truly feels more personal. It is also a great meeting location when we need a different commuting option. I appreciate the clinic providing more choices.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment for months, but no one answers the phone or returns calls.

Everyone is incredibly kind and wonderful! Thanks to their team and all their hard work, I have “graduated” twice. I will continue using them in the future! My insurance covers care elsewhere, but I gladly pay out of pocket to see them.

Beginning our fertility journey was a little frightening for my wife and me. From the day we met Dr. Bromer through our first embryo transfer, our nurse Jamie was an exceptionally resourceful and supportive nurse. She was very kind to us and took time to answer every question. My wife and I are very pleased with our clinical team.
