    虽然我九个月前去急诊室的经历不太好,但我还是决定删除之前的评论,因为我的账单问题得到了解决。我希望这家医院能继续改进,毕竟医疗保健并不免费或便宜。

The service at Kaiser is excellent. Kudos to all employees from receptionist, nurses and Dr. Cheng. They make me feel that I have the best professional team to take care of my health. Dr. Chen has the knowledge and the practice in all my health concerns.

I visited the transplant department. Everyone, from reception and nursing to my doctor, was wonderful and kind. More parking is available on the garage’s top level.

Taking my eight-month-old to the emergency department at 1 a.m. was serious. He had tested positive for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), had an ear infection, and was unusually fussy. I expected thorough, caring treatment. We waited about four hours, which I understand. What disappointed me was Dr. Kasey Daniel N’s evaluation, lasting under a minute. The doctor did not recheck his ears or consider tests, and despite obvious distress said “healthy babies cry” and not to worry. As a mother of two, I know when something is wrong. My concerns felt dismissed. The only prescription was allergy syrup despite no allergy history. Extremely anxious, I asked for another doctor. They refused, said nobody else was available, and offered no alternative. I left helpless, isolated, and more anxious. My feedback may not change anything, but speaking up matters. No parent advocating in an emergency department should feel ignored. Fortunately, our Altamed pediatrician properly evaluated and helped him. I hope future families receive the attention and care we did not.

I called to schedule an MRI. Radiology sent me to Member Services because I was not a member. Member Services said it was fine and transferred me back. Radiology scheduling then refused to book without membership. I do not understand.

The emergency department is a joke. I waited over an hour for a very minor scheduled check that takes minutes. Then they wanted me to return and pay over an hour of parking again for a five-minute task?! What a scam!

I went to the emergency room because I was having an eye problem. I do not currently have Kaiser insurance but plan to switch to Kaiser next year. I was very pleased with everything about this hospital. I was seen quickly in the ER waiting area, and all the staff were warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. There were about 15 people waiting with me. They said my retina was not torn or detached, so I could go home, but I needed a follow-up the next morning. This time I went to a Kaiser medical building and saw an ophthalmologist, and I was also pleased with the examination. The doctor was very patient, answered all my questions, and gave me a follow-up treatment plan. I was able to use my LA Care insurance plan, and my out-of-pocket cost was $350, which seemed reasonable for an ER visit and a doctor’s appointment the next day. I saw the doctor within five minutes, and the atmosphere was calm rather than chaotic, which was nice. The facilities are excellent, very clean, tidy, and well organized. Highly recommended!

Kaiser Permanente has the best nephrology department, especially Dr. Lee, Dr. Rowland, and Dr. Sims. Since 2005, they have worked to save me from stage 4 kidney disease. I began dialysis in 2015 and received a kidney transplant in 2020. Most importantly, in 2024, Dr. Rowland Lee used his extensive experience to evaluate me and identify rejection. He admitted me to the hospital, successfully stopped the rejection, and saved my kidney. Thank God these doctors carefully reviewed my results despite seeing countless patients. Dr. Rowland Lee's actions saved my kidney and allowed me to continue living without returning to dialysis.

My mother stayed in ICU room 6328 after a Whipple procedure in October 2025. Although several nurses were kind and professional, our overall experience was disappointing: • Communication: We repeatedly received different answers to the same questions, and the escalation process (charge nurse/attending physician) was unclear. • Staffing: The unit often appeared understaffed, delaying responses and undermining our trust. • Continuity: Frequent handoffs and clinicians who lacked command of the care plan left our family uninformed. The following would help rebuild trust: (1) designate one daily point of contact; (2) schedule a brief daily update; (3) post the day's care plan in the room; and (4) ensure adequate staffing for prompt responses. I am writing this so hospital leadership understands what families experience. I will update the review if communication and response times improve. Hospital leadership is welcome to contact me to discuss specifics.

I came here after being assaulted at a bus stop in Inglewood. The cafeteria tables need to be wiped clean. The cafeteria atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The hospital experience was not very good, and security was not very helpful. A nurse with red hair and long eyelashes kept staring at me. I would rate it 7 out of 10.

I needed to use valet parking, but the attendant said it was full... They should expand it. I use a walker and have difficulty walking. Everything else inside was good, and the staff were friendly.

My family and I have long been patients at Westlake Kaiser, and we and other relatives have always received care from the best doctors in the world. I really cannot complain much. I must say Dr. Hal was a wonderful doctor. Until my father died six years ago, he went above and beyond many times to save his life. My younger brother Sean was born at West Valley Kaiser on August 5, 1983, and died at this hospital on November 9, 1998. Thank you to the late Dr. Smith, who tried to save my brother's life, and to all the staff who did everything possible for my brother and family. We will always be grateful for all you did. God bless you.

An injury from my youth flared up again, and I needed back surgery. My family belongs to Kaiser Permanente, a health maintenance organization (HMO). I was sent to the surgical center at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Southern California has about twenty Kaiser Permanente facilities, each with its own specialties. This one is on Sunset Boulevard, a few blocks from the Hollywood studios. Because I had difficulty walking, a hospital volunteer placed me in a wheelchair and took me to reception. I was welcomed, my identity was verified, and I was quickly taken to the surgical waiting area. The volunteer waited until a nurse arrived. Within minutes, I was in a hospital gown and lying in bed. Everyone I encountered was courteous and caring. I never felt alone. The laparoscopic surgery was successful, and I went home several hours later. This was my third surgery at Los Angeles Medical Center. Thankfully, each was successful, and the care and courtesy were exactly as expected. My preoperative nurse, Jessie Lee, left me a note on behalf of the KP medical team thanking me for allowing them to care for me. Wow—what a surprise. Other details: All areas are wheelchair accessible. My wife, who accompanied me, said it was a long walk to the cafeteria. Valet parking is available, and a multistory parking garage is across from the hospital. Electric-vehicle charging is available.

September 6, 2025 A Reflection on Gratitude and Hope Today, as I sit in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Kaiser Permanente Hollywood, California, my heart is filled with endless gratitude and wonder. Years ago, I never imagined I would be here at this stage of life, experiencing the extraordinary joy of fatherhood. Now in my sixties, as I gaze at my beautiful daughter Saira, born one week ago, I marvel at life's gifts and how fortunate I am to be here. Every morning and afternoon, when Elba and I visit Saira in the NICU, our hearts are filled with hope, anticipation, and longing for her to come home soon. Watching her grow stronger each day brings immense comfort, but the uncertainty of waiting for her discharge weighs heavily on us. Yet as we sit beside her, the air feels warm, both literally and symbolically. Sunlight pours through the windows and fills the room, and in that moment we feel as though God is embracing us, giving us peace and comfort while we wait. We firmly believe Saira's care here has exceeded our expectations. The doctors and nurses are impeccable. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication reassure us at every step. We have complete confidence in them and are comforted knowing that Saira is receiving the best possible care. In the delivery room, I stood beside Elba and watched our daughter enter the world, overwhelmed by excitement, joy, fear, and deep gratitude. I could not hold back my tears, not only because of the miracle of that moment but because of the endless love and care around us. Even now, as we sit with Saira each day, that same feeling remains. The warm sunlight outside the window quietly reminds us that we are not alone on this journey. To all the doctors, nurses, and staff: we cannot thank you enough for your unwavering support, encouragement, and professionalism. You have accompanied us throughout, and your care has made this journey easier. Words cannot express our deep gratitude for everything you have done and will continue to do for our family. Thank you for giving us the gift of peace and helping us face each day with confidence and hope. We feel deeply fortunate to be in your care, and we will carry this gratitude forever. With heartfelt thanks, Carlo and Elba

I had an extremely painful and unacceptable experience in this hospital's obstetrics department. Despite clear symptoms and concerns, including signs of preeclampsia, the doctors and nurses dismissed me and sent me home without blood or urine tests, saying, 'You are fine.' Their negligence and inaction seriously endangered my health and contributed to the loss of my pregnancy at 29 weeks. I developed severe preeclampsia, dangerously high blood pressure, and risks of stroke and blood clots. What makes this even more painful is that it might have been prevented if the medical staff had listened, taken my symptoms seriously, and provided the care I urgently needed. My symptoms included swollen feet, a clear sign that my kidneys were not functioning normally, numb fingers, and shortness of breath. They did not even perform blood tests to ensure my kidney and liver function were normal. No patient should be dismissed as I was. This department failed me at the most critical moment of my life, and I would not advise anyone to entrust such important, lifesaving care to them.

I recently had a prostatectomy at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles, and it was a memorable experience. From check-in and preoperative preparation through surgery and recovery, I encountered different teams that worked in coordination to improve the patient experience. An excellent surgeon made a tremendous difference. Before surgery, therapy dogs even visited to ease my anxiety. During my stay, the nursing staff kept me comfortable and cared for me through a night of severe pain, though I wish stronger pain medication had been available. Kaiser Permanente did not rush my discharge, giving my family enough time to travel a long distance to pick me up. Overall, I was treated with dignity and respect, and I am sincerely grateful for the experience!

Yes, I am a Kaiser fan. I like having everything in one system. Today I had three appointments: two eye appointments and one scan. Everyone was friendly and efficient. Appointments ran on time, and I was often called in before the scheduled time. Excellent!

Terrible. I had been hit by a car and politely asked the doctor whether there was anything to sit on besides the wheelchair because my back and tailbone were in severe pain and my neck was stiff. She dismissed me and told me to ask someone else for help.

Most doctors in this network provide patients with only the bare minimum. The specialists are overworked and perfunctory, and often cannot access the right information to provide proper treatment. I had a poor experience. Do not buy this insurance.

Every doctor and nurse (Erica), as well as Aron and Arnie at intake, was kind, courteous, and very professional. My care and recovery went extremely well. Dr. Kwon, you look like you just graduated from high school, haha. Thank you for your time and support. Great hospital, highly recommended.

This place treated me as though I did not matter. I was born here and have been a member all my life. Somehow, they have no medical records for me from before 2013.

I have insurance, and they still made me pay $2,000 in medical bills. Stealing from people.

Kaiser Sunset CCU was the best place to receive care- all of my nurses went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and my needs were met. The doctors did a great job of listening as well- a pleasant surprise based on care I've received at other medical facilities- and all in all they aided in making a terrifying circumstance feel manageable and pleasant. I would trust them with my care again, though I hope it won't be necessary.

Last Thursday, my son had a doctor's appointment at Kaiser Permanente on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how clean, well maintained, and organized the hospital was. The staff clearly take great pride in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. During my son's visit, we saw a young doctor whose name I cannot recall at the moment, but his care and attention to detail left a strong impression on us. He took the time to walk me through every aspect of my son's examination and explained everything in an easy-to-understand way. His reassuring manner put me at ease when he confirmed that everything was fine—it was simply a routine checkup to ensure my son's health was on track. I have been a Kaiser Permanente member since birth and have never had a problem with their care. Although I occasionally need to change doctors, my overall experience at this hospital has consistently been excellent. The professionalism, expertise, and compassion shown by their medical team have always exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Kaiser Permanente, for your unwavering commitment to providing high-quality care to my family and me. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and I sincerely appreciate the exceptional service you provide.
