Extend Fertility was founded on the belief that making egg freezing more accessible could transform fertility care and improve outcomes. Our co-founder, Dr. Joshua Klein, was a reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist at one of the leading fertility clinics in the United States. He saw that low IVF success rates and high costs for women over 40 left both physicians and patients disappointed. Dr. Klein saw an opportunity to help women think more proactively about fertility. He believed that if more women could use eggs frozen at a younger age during IVF, more would achieve successful outcomes.
Since our founding, we have helped thousands of patients pursue fertility care through egg freezing and IVF, giving them greater control over their reproductive future. Extend Fertility began by offering egg freezing at 40% below the national average cost. By 2017, we were the country's largest egg-freezing practice. We have since expanded to offer comprehensive infertility services, including IVF, in a smaller practice setting that is more personalized, high-quality, and data-driven.
We believe no one should fear what they do not know about their fertility. We are passionate about delivering fertility care with greater thoughtfulness and transparency because our work has the potential to change lives every day.
