Maureen Moomjy, MD, FACOG, located on the Upper East Side near Midtown Manhattan, has provided specialized, comprehensive, and compassionate fertility, gynecology, and reproductive medicine care for more than 20 years. She offers fertility services including ovulation induction and timed intrauterine insemination (IUI) and works with NYU Fertility Center to provide in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), egg freezing, preimplantation genetic testing (PGD/PGS/PGT), and donor-egg IVF.

She also regularly performs gynecologic and reproductive surgery and guides patients through hormonal evaluation and treatment options.

Dr. Moomjy completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and a fellowship in reproductive medicine and infertility at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. She earned her research MD with honors from SUNY Brooklyn and a master's degree in developmental disabilities from New York University.

Dr. Moomjy has been in private practice in New York City since 2000, initially at Madison Women's Health and Fertility, a full-service gynecology, infertility, and reproductive endocrinology practice, and now at Maureen Moomjy PC, a highly private, attentive, and professional fertility and gynecology practice. Before entering private practice, Dr. Moomjy was an attending physician at Cornell University's Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility IVF program, where she performed egg retrievals, embryo transfers, gynecologic and reproductive surgeries, and expanded the center's donor-egg IVF program.

She maintains surgical privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and regularly provides hysteroscopic surgery for polyps, fibroids, septa, and adhesions, as well as laparoscopic surgery for tubal disease when needed. Dr. Moomjy remains committed to providing fertility and reproductive services to all women and has overseen fertility care for patients from underserved communities for 20 years.

Dr. Moomjy recognizes that fertility and hormonal abnormalities can create considerable stress for patients who often consult multiple physicians for treatment. Her philosophy is that successful outcomes are often achieved through dedication, perseverance, and medical expertise.

As part of the NYU Fertility Center team, Dr. Moomjy provides comprehensive medical preparation for IVF, donor-egg treatment, and egg freezing, while all patients receive embryology services from a center that has remained at the forefront of reproductive technology for the past 2 years.
