Wonderful experience with very kind and welcoming staff. 100% recommended—it really works 😍

I am very disappointed with Dr. Norian and his team. My insurance company referred me to this clinic. HRC obtained authorization for my visit and called me to schedule. After trying to conceive for nearly two years, I was excited to finally see a fertility specialist, but I was deeply disappointed. The front desk staff were friendly, so I had no issue there, but once Dr. Norian brought me in, everything felt very rushed. I first watched a slideshow in one room about possible fertility treatments. That was fine, although it felt somewhat impersonal. We then went to another room for an ultrasound. During the exam, Dr. Norian's phone rang loudly twice. He declined the calls while performing the ultrasound and then began stating the results. We moved to another room, where I waited and again heard his phone ring, followed by him shouting at the person on the other end. It felt very unprofessional. When he finally entered, he sat down and told me IVF was my only option. I was shocked. He had not seen my test results, had no AMH level, and had not reviewed my husband's semen analysis. He based this conclusion only on my “age”—I had just turned 32—and follicle count. While waiting, I had looked online and found that my follicle count was actually good. I was confused and upset and could not stop crying. He left with little explanation and sent his financial specialist/office manager, Diana Sobjornsen, to discuss IVF payment options. Everything happened so quickly that I felt overwhelmed. She came in and said she had no record of authorization for that day's visit. I explained that the clinic had called me after receiving authorization from my insurance company, but she had no idea what I was talking about. We agreed that she would contact my insurer and call me back to discuss payment. A week passed, so I called her. She said she had no information and told me to call again in another week. I did, but still heard nothing. I ultimately left the clinic and sought a second opinion. I saw another doctor today, and the difference was remarkable. My new doctor gave me many more options than IVF, ordered testing in advance, and made sure to take her time with me. In short, do your research. If you can pay out of pocket to see a doctor who truly cares, do it.

My entire experience was terrible. The financial staff were arrogant and rude and never notified me when charges were taken from my account. If you want to know what funds have been deducted or used from loans or accounts that require advance repayment, you have to contact them yourself. The statement I requested showed a $0 balance with no itemized charges or deductions, so I had to ask repeatedly for details. She told me to refer to my insurance explanation of benefits (EOB). I did, but that created another problem because her earlier estimate and the additional fees she requested were inaccurate. Her estimate said that embryo freezing, biopsy, and similar services were not covered by insurance, which was completely untrue. If she had verified it carefully, she would have seen that my insurance had already covered the egg retrieval performed at their clinic. Eventually, she finally sent me an itemized statement. I later had an egg retrieval with Dr. Norian at RSA Pasadena Surgical Center. After discharge, my pad was soaked with blood before I had even completed the 40-minute drive home, and for the next 4 hours I bled through a pad every 30 minutes. We called their emergency line 7 times, but each call was disconnected. I eventually tried different extensions because I did not believe that much bleeding was normal. We finally reached a receptionist who put me on hold and then disconnected the call. I later reached another staff member who also wanted to place me on hold, but I refused because I kept being disconnected. They had my coordinator call me back. After I explained what was happening, she had Dr. Norian call me. He said to wait an hour and see whether the bleeding stopped. My husband said no, and we went to the emergency room. Within 5 minutes of arriving, my pants were soaked with blood. I was taken in immediately. They found that the instrument used to open my cervix had torn it. While awake, I had to receive stitches and lidocaine to stop the bleeding. I called Dr. Norian and told him what had happened. He said it was strange and had never happened before. He did not apologize or offer any other response. I decided to leave this clinic and seek care elsewhere. Over the past three weeks, I have called five times for my medical records. Two weeks ago, I signed an authorization to obtain them. When I called last week, the receptionist said she would send them by the end of the day, but I still have not received them. I called again today and learned that the receptionist responsible for records is away all week. I cannot emphasize this enough: do not go to this clinic.

I have my beautiful daughter thanks to HRC and the Rancho Cucamonga team. There is no greater gift than having your own child, and I would not have this blessing without HRC.

This review is long overdue, as my wife and I consulted Dr. Norian in 2024. Afterward, we felt that his ethics and overall manner did not align with our expectations. The clinic staff were also unhelpful in explaining policies, costs, and procedures. The whole experience felt cold and rushed, as though we were just another client. We ultimately chose another fertility clinic and are now expecting our first baby! IVF and infertility are long, stressful, confusing, and frustrating, so it is vital to choose a clinic that offers support, education, guidance, and care tailored to each patient and their needs. Only after completing reciprocal IVF at another clinic did we realize how many issues had never been mentioned or addressed during our HRC Fertility consultation. For example, Dr. Norian never acknowledged that my wife was the one undergoing treatment and egg retrieval because we wanted to use her eggs and transfer the embryo to me, even though we clearly explained this. Instead, he performed a vaginal ultrasound on me to count my follicles when he should have evaluated my wife's ovaries because her eggs were to be retrieved. The process was impersonal and not tailored to our specific needs. It felt like he followed a script with no flexibility, even though every patient's healthcare needs are different. He then told my wife and me that we needed another consultation to count her follicles, meaning we would have to pay again. At the time, we were unfamiliar with fertility clinics and IVF and did not know how the process should work. HRC Fertility clearly cared only about profit, which was the strong impression we had when we left. My wife and I would never recommend HRC Fertility. Do your research, and consult several other clinics before signing any contract! Best wishes to every prospective mother hoping for a miracle baby! 🩷🎀🌈🍼

We chose this clinic because it was close to where we live and met our insurance requirements. However, our experience worsened as the process continued. We obtained insurance through work, and the treatments appeared to be covered because I contacted the insurer before starting. We completed testing and then changed insurance, but were told we could still receive care here through the WIN program they use. I tried contacting the clinic about the next steps, but now they seem unwilling to see us. I keep being brushed off without any progress. Diana was supposed to contact me but has not. When I called the clinic, they told me to send my insurance card information to Diana and that she would contact us. I did so, but she kept asking, ‘Do you have a referral?’ They told me the clinic would request any necessary information from the insurer or contact me if I needed to do anything else. I find this very unprofessional. I have worked in a medical office myself and understand the importance of communicating with patients. This clinic either has too many patients and does not care about new ones, or selects which patients it wants to retain.

It was an honor to work with the staff at HRC Rancho and the excellent Dr. Norian. The staff were very helpful and always communicated with me promptly. Dr. Norian is simply amazing! I was very nervous about being a surrogate for the first time, but he made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable. I am very grateful for all their help throughout the process.

HRC Fertility only took my money! The worst decision I made was going to the Rancho office. When I learned that my embryo had not implanted, I spoke with Dr. Norian. He only said that it was the holidays, he did not have a computer or chart in front of him, and we would discuss it in the coming weeks! He was rude and uncaring, with no consideration for my feelings or what I had gone through. Most importantly, I had two egg retrievals, and the embryos from the first procedure were abnormal. For the second procedure, he used a different method to try to create healthier embryos. When I asked why he had not used that process the first time, which could have saved us money, he could not give me a direct answer. I do not recommend this place! Diana in finance is the worst. She does not know what she is doing and does not return calls. If you want to be scammed, go to HRC Rancho and see Dr. Norian.

I am a second-time surrogate and have been very fortunate to work with My California Baby's surrogacy team and Dr. Wilcox at HRC during both of my surrogacy journeys. My agency team held my hand every step of the way and made the process smooth from start to finish. I feel I chose an excellent agency to work with. Many people help and guide you throughout the process, and everyone is knowledgeable, considerate, friendly, selfless, and helpful. They truly began to feel like family. I feel very fortunate to work with My California Baby and all the wonderful people who run the agency.

I chose this location because I live in the area and it was nearby. They misdiagnosed me and wasted my time. I would not recommend this clinic or HRC to anyone. Do your research before choosing this location. They may be less expensive than other fertility centers, but they accept so many patients that you are not a priority. If you are seriously considering this location, look up their Pasadena retrieval site, because you will most likely need to go there and the reviews are terrible. Diana in billing also gives misleading information. According to her, the government would pay for your IVF within a few months. This was completely inaccurate, and you will have to pay for all procedures. Giving people false hope like this is shameful.

I was billed twice. I have been calling for weeks. If anyone sees this, please call me. Edit: My information is in your system. I do not want to post it here. Jasmine at the front desk knows the situation and can provide my contact information. Final edit: After they replied to this review saying they take the matter very seriously, I never heard from anyone.

Do not go here if you have insurance they accept! Before scheduling here, my husband called our insurance company to ask whether HRC was covered. Because it was covered, we obtained the required referral from our primary care doctor. They said an initial consultation was $300 without insurance and $75 with insurance. Since our insurance covered it, we paid $75 two months before the appointment. We had the consultation, and the doctor ordered laboratory work. One week later, we completed the laboratory work at their facility. Later that day, we received an email from financial adviser Diana with our bill. Before the laboratory work, no staff member contacted us or said we would be charged. Diana then said our insurance did not cover it. My husband called our insurer again, and they confirmed that the laboratory work was covered. He emailed Diana this information. Diana then said they had never received our referral. My husband contacted our primary care doctor and had the referral sent again. Diana then said HRC was no longer in network. Why ask for another referral? They deceive people who are already insured. We will file a complaint against them with the federal government. If anyone else has this problem, look up the No Surprises Act.

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Dr. Norian and his team. From the first day we met him, he was professional, kind, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We welcomed a healthy baby boy this year and are incredibly grateful and excited. We will return next year for baby number 2 or 3, lol. We would not work with anyone else! Thank you so much, Dr. Norian and team. You are all amazing!

The staff are wonderful, and I want to recognize the entire team. We sincerely thank Dr. Norian for his kindness, care, and compassion. Suzie was excellent and a pleasure to work with. Many thanks to Irene for her patience during ultrasounds. The front desk staff were wonderful; Jasmine and Selena were very attentive, and Selena made the blood draw easy. Diana in billing worked with the insurance company to obtain coverage for us. We will keep you updated on our journey. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

I waited a long time to write this. I am actually writing this review from the hospital after giving birth. Dr. Norian and HRC helped us after years of unexplained infertility and loss. We will always be grateful to him and his team for bringing our baby into the world.
