Outstanding technology and service, with transparent, affordable pricing! We visited this clinic last year and ultimately had a baby after only one attempt. Dr. Salem is highly knowledgeable, passionate, professional, and approachable. He customized a treatment plan based on our circumstances, which I believe was extremely valuable and key to our success. In addition, the entire team—including the nurse, embryologist, and front desk staff—was highly responsive to our requests. This helped us tremendously, especially when I experienced bleeding after the procedure. We highly recommend Dr. Salem and his team to anyone hoping to have a baby!

Dr. Salem and his team are wonderful. He also worked directly with my obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Malaki, to ensure everything went smoothly. There were a few minor communication issues when the clinic first opened, but the final outcome speaks for itself. I cannot find the words to express my gratitude to Dr. Salem and the entire staff at NDFC Scottsdale. In the medical field, even if you have a highly skilled doctor, it means nothing if all the staff members do not meet the standard. But you can tell at a glance that everyone in the clinic is caring, professional, efficient, and communicates smoothly. Dr. Salem is kind, compassionate, and treats you with the respect you deserve. Facing infertility can be frightening, but he and all the staff made my husband and me feel very reassured. Thanks to NDFC, I have just welcomed a healthy baby boy. A physician I work with recommended this clinic to me. I met Dr. Salem and liked him from the beginning. He and his team were very kind and patient because I am a difficult blood draw and needed numerous blood tests during treatment. I always felt that my concerns were heard, and they never rushed me. I completed two egg retrievals and two transfers, and today I finally graduated from the clinic! I also want to give special thanks to Carmen and Arden for being so patient during my blood draws, and to Jackie, who always comforted me with a smile when I was exhausted.

I have been meaning to write this review, and now that I am six and a half months pregnant, sharing it feels even more meaningful. At 36, I decided to proceed directly with IVF, and choosing New Direction Fertility Centers in Scottsdale was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I succeeded after just one egg retrieval, one frozen embryo transfer, and genetic testing, and I am incredibly grateful. The entire Scottsdale team was wonderful—everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about their patients. They always remembered my name and made me feel supported at every step. Dr. Salem is absolutely one of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He is highly skilled—calm, thoughtful, and reassuring. You can truly feel how much he cares about his patients. IVF can be extremely stressful, but this team made the entire experience positive and personalized. I highly recommend the Scottsdale center to anyone considering IVF!

The only place in the area that offers Zymot. Payment was very straightforward, and they listened to my preferences. After two years of trying, we finally succeeded with our first cycle and first transfer.

I am an out-of-state patient and initially chose the Scottsdale clinic because it claimed expertise in managing and scheduling cycles for traveling patients. My experience was very different. As the FET scheduling coordinator told me during my first cycle, “The Scottsdale clinic is a mess, and nobody knows what the hell they are doing!”... Reassuring, right? I underwent three egg retrievals and two transfers at this clinic. Unfortunately, despite repeatedly telling me that my case would be easy to manage, they ultimately failed to treat me successfully. I find some of their care—or lack of care—concerning. When new doctors reviewed my records, they were shocked that basic steps had been omitted, such as blood tests before FET to ensure my body was in the right condition for a successful transfer. This seems like a significant thing to overlook. They were also shocked by the doctor's “kitchen sink” protocol for unexplained infertility, which involved very strong medications such as Lovenox and steroids without a sound medical basis. The nurses were excellent and friendly, especially Arden and Carmen, whom I liked very much, but patient care here feels like a factory. They assign a schedule and protocol that Dr. Salem says works for “nine out of ten clients.” If you happen to be the one in ten, as I was, this may not be the right place because individualized service and treatment adjustments are very limited. Honestly, I do not think their business model and pricing support personalized care. If you transfer your care, be prepared: their records are very disorganized, poorly maintained, and difficult to sort through, and staff offer very limited help. It is deeply disappointing after paying them more than the cost of a midsize car for multiple consecutive treatment cycles. Please ask them to perform blood tests before FET so you do not waste your hard-earned embryos. I wish I had done so before losing two embryos. Incidentally, I became pregnant as soon as I changed care providers. The very next cycle worked. This is especially telling because the doctor's proposed next step was an unnecessary, physically demanding procedure—a second hysteroscopy 6 months later—which my rapid pregnancy clearly showed was not needed. In any case, I wish all prospective mothers the best on their fertility journeys! Good luck to this clinic as well... Dr. Salem is kind, but there are so many ways to improve the patient experience that I could discuss them for days.

Dr. Salem and his team are truly a blessing. After 16 years of heartbreak, hope, and prayer, I am finally writing this review at 12 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I never imagined I would be able to say those words. I am 38, have very low AMH, and face other complex fertility issues. Dr. Salem was the third fertility doctor we consulted, and he was everything we had hoped for. From the first visit, his kindness, honesty, and deep compassion touched us. He never gave us false hope. He promised only to do everything he could to help us, and he did exactly that. His entire team treated us like family. They understood the emotional impact of this journey and always made us feel valued, heard, and supported. Their warmth and empathy made every visit easier, even in the hardest moments. This baby is the result of science, love, and unwavering faith. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Salem and his team for accompanying us through this journey and helping make our dream a reality. Medical assistants Arden and Carmen genuinely care and provide compassionate treatment that makes you more comfortable. New Direction is a wonderful clinic. Dr. Salem’s bedside manner is truly impeccable. Every staff member is caring, easy to talk to, and willing to help. I had visited other clinics in the past and transferred here after another clinic in Arizona. I can honestly say that switching was the best decision I could have made. Dr. Salem explains all your options and then lets you decide what is best for you, your body, and your family circumstances. I never felt pressured to pursue genetic testing, go directly to IVF, or do anything else. He also did not order unnecessary tests, which I appreciated because this process is not inexpensive. We ultimately chose IVF. It was not an easy journey, but I felt that New Direction, Dr. Salem, and the staff made it easier. This clinic is also less expensive than others nearby and has very high success rates! If you do not believe me, check the CDC website, which lists statistics by clinic. Our first transfer was unsuccessful, and Dr. Salem messaged us at 9 p.m. to say he was sorry it had not gone as planned and that we would develop a new plan as soon as possible. I never expected a doctor to text at nine at night. It was completely unexpected but appreciated. This is just one example of how much Dr. Salem cares about his patients. Overall, I am extremely grateful that I found this clinic. There are many appointments throughout the process, and they get you in and out quickly with no wait. :) If you are looking for a fertility clinic, you cannot go wrong with New Direction, especially Dr. Salem.

We underwent a donor cycle and transfer, and Dr. Salem went above and beyond at every step. He took the time to ensure that we understood the entire process, and whenever we needed to speak with him one-on-one, he was always promptly available. Recently, we had a scare and called the after-hours hotline. The on-call doctor contacted Dr. Salem, and even though it was his evening off, he called us immediately, reassured us, and guided us through the next steps. What truly impressed me is that Dr. Salem always makes time for his patients. Whenever we need him, he listens, cares, and is there. It is difficult to find a doctor with this level of dedication, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone on a fertility journey!
