Dr. Christopher Huang, Estados Unidos


El Dr. Huang lleva ofreciendo servicios de IVF en Hawái más tiempo que cualquier otro endocrinólogo reproductivo y especialista en infertilidad certificado por el consejo.

 

El Dr. Huang es fundador y director médico del Advanced Reproductive Center of Hawaii. Estudió en Swarthmore College, en Filadelfia, donde se graduó con una licenciatura en Biología. Como presidente del alumnado de la Facultad de Salud Pública de la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles, estudió Epidemiología. Obtuvo el título de M.D. en Thomas Jefferson University, en Filadelfia, y realizó su internado y residencia en Obstetricia y Ginecología en la Universidad de Hawái, Manoa. Completó su formación de subespecialidad mediante una beca en Endocrinología Reproductiva e Infertilidad en UCLA. En Cedars-Sinai, en Los Ángeles, llevó a cabo investigaciones innovadoras sobre el síndrome de ovario poliquístico (PCOS) y la fecundación in vitro.

 

El Dr. Huang está certificado por el consejo tanto en Obstetricia y Ginecología desde 1999 como en Endocrinología Reproductiva e Infertilidad desde 2001. También es profesor clínico asistente en la John A. Burns School of Medicine de la Universidad de Hawái, Manoa, en el Departamento de Obstetricia y Ginecología. El departamento le concedió uno de sus máximos reconocimientos por la «excelencia docente».

 

El Dr. Huang ejerce en la práctica clínica desde 1998, cuando fue nombrado profesor asistente de Obstetricia y Ginecología en Loma Linda University, donde trabajó en el Loma Linda University Center for Fertility and In Vitro Fertilization. Además, dirigió la División de Endocrinología Reproductiva e Infertilidad de Kaiser Permanente en Fontana, California.

 

El Dr. Huang es miembro del American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology y de la American Society of Reproductive Medicine, y pertenece a la Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

I have attended this clinic for about six months. The doctors and staff are very kind and knowledgeable and supported me whenever I was worried. Thanks to them, I became pregnant. We worked with this clinic for 6 months. All the doctors and staff were very supportive, knowledgeable, and kind, and fortunately we had a successful experience.

The staff, from the office team to the nurses, are very welcoming, enthusiastic, and helpful. Dr. Huang and Dr. Arnett make an outstanding team. Both are very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to my needs as a patient. If I have questions or concerns, they put my health first and arrange meetings to discuss and educate me on any topic, ensuring that I feel comfortable and reassured before, during, and after procedures. I learned a great deal from them about health issues other doctors had missed. For example, my tinnitus stopped after they identified an underlying health issue. My high prolactin level was causing breast tenderness and pain, which no previous doctor had identified. Now that it has been treated, I feel much better. Without them, I would never have known. Regarding becoming pregnant after each treatment, failures can be painful. I felt disappointed, and it was not easy, but that is part of what to expect, especially at my age. I am still trying and will soon begin my second round of IVF. I am grateful for the opportunity and to have a professional team that cares about its patients and wants us to achieve pregnancy. If I could give this clinic less than one star, I would. It was the worst experience I have ever had. They were rude, and the doctor repeatedly said, 'He is the professional and knows best,' despite my concerns about aspects of care that made me feel ill. The front desk staff were very incompetent, and checkout was a headache! If you are experiencing infertility, which is already difficult, do not put yourself through the trauma of going to this clinic. Take your business elsewhere.

Beware of this practice. They will have you buy more and more, then bill you years later for services you did not authorize. Their accounting is a mess. I would get a second opinion before deciding to go here. We spent a great deal of money, left the practice, and continued receiving bills for more services. Keep all receipts and email correspondence; you will need them.

Thank you, ARCH! After four miscarriages, Dr. Huang and Dr. Arnett did everything possible to help us and ensure a successful pregnancy. They are the most research-focused professionals we have ever met and are exceptionally attentive. The clinic always feels welcoming, the staff respond quickly, appointments are easy to schedule, bills are submitted directly to insurance, and the doctors' ethics are exemplary. Our only disappointment was that after working with them for a year, they told us we had to transfer to an OB-GYN because we were pregnant! Although we are thrilled about the pregnancy, we will miss the doctors we trusted during such a vulnerable time.

This man likes the sound of his own voice too much to listen to your concerns or questions without making you feel foolish. Trust me: see another fertility doctor and you will understand what I mean. I did.

We are very grateful to Dr. Huang. Seven and a half years ago, at age 43, I delivered healthy triplets. He gave us extensive counseling and advice. He is kind and easy to talk to.

Dr. Huang is a true genius who knows his craft. Overcoming infertility is both a science and an art, and he knows how to combine them for the best results. If you and your spouse or partner are having difficulty having a child, see Dr. Huang immediately.
