Michael A. Thomas, MD, is Chief of the Division of Endocrinología Reproductiva e Infertilidad at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Thomas has been named one of the Best Doctors in America for nine consecutive years, an honor bestowed on 4 percent of physicians in the Estados Unidos. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and was a resident at Wayne State University in Detroit. He is also Director of Reproductive Medicine Research, a clinical investigación unit that is funded by federal and private institutions, at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Thomas is the Principal Investigator of the Contraceptive Clinical Network on the National Institutes of Health and has grants from many pharmaceutical companies. His investigación interests include contraception, infertilidad and the effects of stress on reproductiva function.

He is trained in microsurgery and hysteroscopy, as well as operative and laser laparoscopy.
