The team at Northwell Fertility is truly first-rate. Dr. Aluko was patient and professional. She helped streamline the entire process and ultimately helped us achieve our goal! We also worked with Dr. Rodgers, Dr. Bennett, and Dr. French, who were all very professional and kind. From the front desk and blood draw team to the ultrasound technicians, everyone gave my wife and me tremendous support through both challenging and joyful moments. We are very grateful for the care this clinic provided.

Dr. Aluko at Northwell is wonderful! She always patiently ensured I understood every step of the process and supported my preferences. She provided data to help me form realistic expectations about how medication and other supportive measures might work for me during intrauterine insemination (IUI). The clinic staff were also friendly, welcoming, and supportive, and they celebrated with me when things went well. I felt well cared for by a professional medical team. I am also very grateful to the responsive administrative staff, who coordinated with my insurance company to ensure all expenses were covered and approved despite the tight treatment timeline. I recommend this clinic and Dr. Aluko without hesitation!

I had the best experience with Dr. Singer and his team. After completing 4 difficult cycles at another high-end NY clinic, I was already exhausted when I first walked through the doors of Northwell Fertility. I am AMA and have DOR, but Dr. Singer never treated me as a problem case. Honestly, the experience at Northwell is incomparable. Dr. Singer and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional, but they also genuinely care about every patient. You feel this from reception to blood draws and the nursing staff—I could go on and on. I strongly encourage anyone beginning a fertility journey to start with Dr. Singer and his team!

It has been an honor to work with Dr. Singh and the fertility team at Northwell Health, and I am so glad we chose them for this journey. After the doctor gave me my test results, I felt discouraged and believed my IVF journey was over. I later researched egg count and IVF and learned that IVF could still be possible. If your results are not what you hoped, seek a second opinion. Do not let this facility end your dream of motherhood. Always seek a second opinion.

Had a great experience with Dr. Aluko and her staff. The doctor and staff are so attentive , caring, empathetic and informative. They made a vulnerable , confusing process comfortable and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Singh and his entire team are amazing. After infertility care and multiple failed treatments at other clinics, this was the only clinic that truly helped us. All the nurses—Abby, Sunshine, and Mimi—were warm and friendly and made me feel at home. I never felt like a burden or just another patient… Their experience, knowledge, and care are first-rate, and I highly recommend them.

This clinic's care team really needs to improve its bedside manner!! Especially the nurse, Ali or Alexandra Ayoub. She is rude and arrogant and makes you feel that every question is an inconvenience. We froze embryos here a year ago and were very happy, but our experience when we returned for further treatment this year was completely disappointing!! I did not see Dr. Singh once throughout the entire process. He is a good doctor, but his team is terrible. I was treated like a cog in a machine, just a number. To think that I once recommended this place to friends. I received multiple emails from the care team with conflicting information, leaving me confused and stressed. They never remember your history, do not bother to read your chart, and it is impossible to reach anyone. Appointments are canceled at the last minute, and Ali calls to tell you rudely that the doctor is unavailable, without any apology! I felt like a charity case they did not want to deal with. Women and men undergoing this treatment are already under great stress. Treating such patients like a burden is completely unacceptable! We transferred our embryos and care to an IVF clinic in New York and could not be happier!! I would not recommend this clinic to anyone!!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Aluko and had an excellent experience. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived at the clinic, and all my questions were answered patiently. I felt comfortable during the visit and would definitely recommend them to others!

I had a very poor experience at this location. The company is not serious, and staff communication is poor.

The staff are amazing! They handle everything with great care!

A close friend visited this clinic a few months ago and had a terrible experience. The front desk and medical staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. Patients arrive feeling vulnerable, but instead of showing concern, the staff seemed to use that vulnerability against them. There is no privacy here. Staff openly gossip about patients, which is not only disrespectful but raises concerns about HIPAA compliance. There was no proper follow-up or continuing care. One woman at the front desk had a terrible attitude, and the medical staff's behavior felt abusive, including rude and improper use of a needle while chatting with others. This violated her trust and made her feel unsafe. Overall, this place left my friend feeling disrespected, neglected, and mistreated. No one should experience this in a healthcare setting.

Dr. Singer and his entire team are truly outstanding. From the moment we met them, we felt deeply cared for—not only as patients, but as people. Their medical care was excellent and led to our first pregnancy, but what stood out most was the compassion, empathy, and genuine partnership they showed us throughout. Dr. Singer, Ali, Sunshine, Mimi, Sari, and everyone else on the team patiently answered every question, created clear and flexible plans, and communicated honestly, making us feel that we were truly in this together. Even during moments of disappointment or delay, which were not their fault, the team showed endless kindness and understanding. We felt seen, supported, and cared for throughout the process. Despite countless injections, blood draws, scans, early mornings, and uncertainties, we genuinely looked forward to every appointment. Even graduating to obstetric care felt bittersweet, which shows how wonderful the experience was. From a practical standpoint, waits were never long, communication was smooth, a doctor was available by phone around the clock for questions, billing was clear and transparent, they worked well with insurance, and scheduling was very convenient. If you are considering fertility treatment at Northwell, I cannot praise them enough. We are incredibly grateful to have found this team and cannot imagine going through IVF with anyone else. Thank you for everything! We will definitely return for baby number two!

My Biased Fertility Journey at Northwell Health Fertility in New York City I am a victim of Northwell Health Fertility. By sharing my nightmare at this facility, I hope to help others—especially women of color, whom I believe do not receive the same treatment they need. All women, particularly women of color, should know about Northwell Health Fertility. ...Unfortunately, this is where the nightmare began. I completed all required exams, bloodwork, and other testing. Several weeks after being told that prior authorization had been sent to my insurer, I received an email containing the planned protocol for my IVF cycle. A nurse called with instructions on when to begin medication, and I followed them. Two days before my ultrasound and bloodwork, I was shocked when a nurse called to say the prior authorization had only just been sent and would take at least 3 weeks for approval. This should have been completed two months earlier. When I asked why it had not been done sooner, the person responsible said she had been on vacation for two weeks and was the only employee who handled prior authorizations. I was told that proceeding without authorization meant calling finance and paying thousands of dollars out of pocket; otherwise I had to wait indefinitely. Remember, I had already begun medication according to my IVF protocol! The doctor decided I had to remain on birth control longer than planned until insurance approved treatment. When we finally proceeded, my body did not respond at all. My follicles remained nearly the same size and did not grow. The doctor said I may have been “over-suppressed” because I stayed on birth control longer than she intended while we waited for authorization. I was penalized for the Northwell Health Fertility staff’s carelessness. The first failed protocol exhausted my $10,000 lifetime maximum for fertility medications. I had to pay out of pocket the second time and believe I spent about $15,000 in total. I do not usually play the “race” card, but I firmly believe race is why Northwell Health Fertility handled my case this way from the start. When I spoke with the facility director, Dr. Christine Mullin, she was cold, impatient, and uncompassionate, then ignored many of my emails and messages. Nancy Banks and Danielle Vaknin were equally cold and lacking in compassion. This facility harmed me financially, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I firmly believe some women of color are treated differently there. Even if you have not faced infertility, I hope you can understand the pain of those who do: injecting extremely expensive fertility medications, undergoing frequent ultrasounds and repeated bloodwork, enduring traumatic egg retrievals, and, if fortunate enough to obtain viable embryos, facing stressful transfers. Then comes the heartbreak of learning you are not pregnant. When a facility like Northwell ruins my IVF cycle by failing to follow the prescribed protocol and refusing responsibility, I feel victimized again. To fulfill the dream of motherhood, you need a facility with experienced, skilled doctors and nursing staff. I did not receive that at Northwell Health Fertility. You will read different reviews, but ask who wrote them. Will you be among the fortunate patients who receive the care they need and paid for, or will you be treated unfairly and with bias, then bear the consequences as I did?

My wife and I came here a few months ago. This place is a cash grab offering little, if any, actual medical assistance or treatment. My wife needed to be checked after two miscarriages. My appointment was quoted at $700, but quickly became more than $2,000 because I also had bloodwork. Then why was I quoted $700? The doctor did nothing for my wife, who still has major issues that required other doctors to step in and provide actual healthcare. Stay away unless you enjoy throwing money away.
