Dr Michael Werner, États-Unis
Le Dr Werner est urologue certifié par le conseil et a suivi un fellowship spécialisé en infertilité masculine, chirurgie et dysfonction sexuelle masculine au Boston University Medical Center. Il a effectué son internat en urologie au Mount Sinai Medical Center de Manhattan et a étudié la médecine à l’Université de Californie à San Francisco. Il est titulaire d’une licence en biologie de l’Université Harvard.
L’exercice privé du Dr Werner se limite à l’infertilité masculine et à la dysfonction sexuelle masculine. Il a beaucoup donné de conférences et publié sur ces sujets dans des revues médicales et des ouvrages. Son intérêt pour ces domaines lui permet d’utiliser des traitements et techniques chirurgicales actuels et avancés afin de maximiser les chances de réussite de chaque patient.
Le Dr Werner est le directeur médical et fondateur de Maze Laboratories . Depuis 1994, Maze Labs est spécialisé dans l’analyse complète du sperme et constitue la plus grande banque de sperme de l’État de New York, conservant le sperme d’hommes ou de femmes transgenres pour l’usage de leurs partenaires ou bénéficiaires désignés. Maze est actuellement le seul laboratoire du pays à réaliser l’Extended Sperm Search and Microfreeze (ESSM) , qui a permis de trouver des spermatozoïdes chez 40% des hommes diagnostiqués d’azoospermie ou chez lesquels les méthodes conventionnelles n’en avaient détecté aucun. Le Dr Werner a créé une combinaison de cartographie spermatique et d’ESSM appelée GN-SEM, qui permet à certains hommes ne présentant aucun spermatozoïde dans l’éjaculat de réaliser des cycles de FIV (IVF) réussis sans biopsie testiculaire ouverte invasive (m-TESE).

Dr. Werner and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and personable. MAZE consistently provides a good experience and first-rate care. I visit every three months, and everyone I speak with—Dr. Werner, the family nurse practitioner, and others—seems familiar with my medical history and current condition, which I appreciate.
Side note: the office is tastefully decorated, entirely by Dr. Werner himself. This man has style and taste!

At the initial visit, their therapist asked thoughtful questions and made me comfortable discussing everything openly. The process was relaxed and never rushed, with genuine care throughout.
The nurse practitioner was outstanding: energetic, welcoming, and deeply caring. Most impressive was that after meeting me only briefly, he could confidently explain my entire situation to the doctor without checking the chart. That level of attention and professionalism is rare.
