Je viens du Cameroun, en Afrique de l’Ouest, et j’ai immigré aux États-Unis pour terminer mes études avec l’amour et le soutien de ma famille à Atlanta. Je suis aujourd’hui une épouse et mère comblée de deux merveilleuses filles. En dehors du travail, j’aime passionnément le jardinage, la danse, la cuisine, l’élevage de poules et la photographie amateur.
J’ai obtenu une licence en biologie à Wesleyan College, à Macon, en Géorgie. J’ai ensuite été admise au Medical College of Georgia, où j’ai obtenu les diplômes de MD et de PhD et suis devenue la première diplômée noire du programme MD/PhD. Ma thèse de doctorat portait sur les événements périovulatoires chez les singes rhésus. J’ai effectué un internat de quatre ans en obstétrique et gynécologie à Prisma Health, à Greenville, en Caroline du Sud. Ma passion pour la santé des femmes m’a conduite à suivre un fellowship de surspécialité en endocrinologie de la reproduction et infertilité (REI) aux National Institutes of Health de Bethesda, Maryland.
Je suis doublement certifiée en obstétrique-gynécologie et en REI. Mes centres d’intérêt comprennent la défense des patients et l’éducation, la réduction des inégalités d’accès aux soins pour les minorités et d’autres populations particulières, les troubles de l’ovulation, la prise en charge des fibromes et le soutien en santé mentale dans les soins reproductifs. J’ai délibérément centré ma pratique sur les patients mal desservis et je fais des objectifs de mes patients les miens. Ma vaste expérience personnelle de patiente éclaire chaque interaction, en complément de ma formation médicale. J’ai fondé Muna Fertility pour concrétiser cette vision et me réjouis de collaborer à vos soins.

When we moved from South Carolina to Georgia, we looked for a fertility specialist to continue our fertility journey. Our fertility specialist in SC recommended Dr. Fru. We loved her from the first time we met her. She is kind, compassionate, and thoughtful and did not make us feel like just another patient at a fertility clinic. We became pregnant on our first IUI attempt! She is truly wonderful, and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Fru and her team are exactly the people you want. They are personable, inclusive, and the best cheerleaders! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Muna Fertility and will always be grateful that they helped us conceive—on the first attempt, despite PCOS, which is worth noting!

Dr. Fru is an amazing doctor in every way. She completely changed my life for the better. She was there for me when my husband died from cancer 😢 and I wanted to become pregnant, and she continues to work with me to make sure I can have his child through IVF. She is a very compassionate doctor, and I thank her for everything she has done for me and my family. Highly recommend!

A truly life-changing experience—the best fertility clinic I have visited
I cannot say enough good things about Muna Fertility. Of all the clinics I have visited over the years, this has been by far my best experience. From the moment I spoke with Mekhi and Dr. Fru, I felt genuinely welcomed. The clinic's atmosphere is warm and peaceful, and the entire staff is exceptionally kind and friendly. They truly make you feel like more than a number on a chart.
The infertility and IVF journey can be difficult at times, but the grace shown by everyone, especially Ms. Vernita, is unmatched.
What distinguishes Muna is that they truly care about you as an individual. They take time to listen, answer every question, and guide you through each step with empathy and clarity. You can feel that they are fully invested in your journey and genuinely want the best outcome for you.
I wish I had found this clinic five years ago—it would have saved me so much time, stress, emotional exhaustion, and quite a bit of money *wink*. Muna Fertility is a rare gem, and I am so glad I found them.

Dr. Fru is one of the most skilled doctors in infertility and women's health! Her exceptional knowledge is unmatched. She welcomed me warmly from the moment I called to make an appointment. Her staff provided excellent, kind service. Every staff member smiled and offered encouragement. Dr. Fru's care was outstanding. She listened carefully to my condition, explained my diagnosis in detail, and developed a treatment plan. She was always willing to answer any questions or concerns. Dr. Fru will always be part of my family. When several doctors told me I should accept the loss of motherhood, she gave me hope. I thank her for everything she has done and will continue to do for me and my family. She is an extraordinary blessing in infertility medicine. From my initial consultation I had with Dr. Fru, I knew Muna Fertility was the perfect clinic for me. Dr. Fru really listened to all my medical history & concerns. She discussed all my options and made sure I was comfortable with making a decision on my own time. I started my treatment around Jan 2025. Every visit was wonderful! The ENTIRE staff was amazing & lovely. Any question or concern I had, I would get an answer back immediately even on weekends! Every procedure I had went smoothly & recovered fairly quick. Every medication, lab test/results, & procedures was explained to me thoroughly. I am now pregnant with twin identical girls (not on purpose). My girl embryo split after my transfer :) I am so lucky and blessed! I can't thank Dr. Fru and the entire team enough! They have made me feel so welcomed and loved!!! I would recommend Muna Fertility to anyone who is struggling with infertility how I was. I did not see the light at the end of the tunnel but Muna Fertility helped bring back so much joy to my life! I am beyond grateful for everyone at Muna Fertility! They are more than just a fertility clinic to me, they are now family ❤︎

All these reviews sound the same and fake! I do not know what happened. I went to Dr. Fru at Oma, and this new office contacted me. At the old office, a Black nurse practitioner was allowed to be present, which I felt was unprofessional because nurse practitioners are not permitted to perform fertility procedures in Georgia. Dr. Fru seemed unable to say anything to her, but after that phone visit he assured me the nurse practitioner would not enter that area. I have not seen Omu - Pinnacle or the pregnancy report credited to Dr. Fru. I really wanted her to be my doctor and cannot believe how these things happened to her. These reviews do not seem genuine at all. Dr. Fru, I chose you because you are a Black reproductive endocrinologist and OB-GYN, but what is going on?!?!”

I do not know where to begin, but I can honestly say that choosing Dr. Fru and the Muna Fertility team was the best decision we ever made. Our embryo development did not go as planned, through no fault of Muna; the eggs simply did not work.
Instead of immediately scheduling a second round, Dr. Fru took the time to conduct a comprehensive panel review to understand why the first round failed. We did not ask for this and did not even know we needed it. She truly went above and beyond. We are extremely grateful.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Muna Fertility and Dr. Fru! The clinic is small, warm, and welcoming—you never feel like just one patient among many. The entire team supports you and walks with you step by step through the journey. They are attentive, compassionate, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns, which means so much during something as sensitive and emotional as fertility treatment. We are incredibly grateful for their attentive care and expertise—we are now 28 weeks pregnant and expecting our sweet baby girl! 💕

After three years of trying to conceive, we felt discouraged and overwhelmed. From our first meeting, Dr. Fru gave us hope!
She is extremely knowledgeable, but her empathy moved me most. This journey is emotionally difficult, and her ability to truly understand you is invaluable. Her deep care shows in everything she does. She is always optimistic, energetic, and positive, and that energy is contagious. Even on the hardest days, she brings hope. She and her team consistently communicated well, supported us, and responded promptly. She even helped me outside normal hours, which meant so much.
When she founded Muna Fertility, we followed without hesitation because of our trust in her. We are immensely grateful to now have two beautiful daughters. We feel reassured knowing we will continue with Muna in the future. We believe God has guided every step and are thankful He led us to Dr. Fru and her team.

I want to share my experience because it completely changed my life. I had previously seen several doctors for a condition, but they misdiagnosed it and did not take it seriously enough. The first time I met Dr. Frew, I knew I had found the right person. She is both compassionate and thorough! She is highly skilled and kind, and her team is also thoughtful and wonderful. I had waited months for appointments with other doctors, but she scheduled my surgery quickly. She is very responsible and treated me like an old friend. I cannot thank Dr. Frew enough; I believe she is an angel sent from heaven. Thank you!

I chose this clinic for outside monitoring. I needed some testing and expected it to be painful, as it had been before. The staff assured me it would not hurt. After the test, I realized the experience was completely different from what I had expected. The staff were very gentle and explained everything throughout. I made the right choice and will return in the future. Thank you!

I have stage 4 endometriosis and had both fallopian tubes removed because of its severity. Four years ago, I began a long IVF journey that included eight cycles, three failed embryo transfers, and a cyst that ruptured during one cycle. I sought care from leading doctors at Yale, in Rome, and in Madrid. One day, I met Dr. Flew when I needed an ultrasound. I felt heard and cared for, and she did not treat me as a source of revenue. Even though I was not her patient, she gave me extensive advice. A few days later, I began treatment with her. She developed an unconventional protocol, which I followed. One month later, we completed an embryo transfer, and I was thrilled to learn that I was pregnant. After so many failures, I had finally succeeded. I thank God and Dr. Flew for this success, and I am happy to continue this journey with her.
Communication with the care team is essential during IVF. Dr. Flew has an excellent team. Mekhi McCoy is always available, proactive, enthusiastic, and smiling. He builds strong personal relationships with patients. He was the first person I told that I was pregnant.
Vertina is also amazing. This team truly loves what they do and, unlike some clinics, they do not do it for money. They do it because they want to help us realize our dream of becoming parents. Thank you for everything.
