Other than Hannah Hart, no one in the entire office is competent. The phone is also never answered; they do not return calls, and if they do answer, they hang up. About two years ago, they had me undergo genetic testing and sent the lab work to an out-of-network facility. I was charged $1500, and they never told me the facility was outside my insurance network. I decided to stop using their services. My OB-GYN gave my husband a referral for a free semen analysis, and we decided to give them another chance. They called several times to schedule it, and we did. We later had a family emergency, so we canceled the appointment and told them we would call back to reschedule. When we called again, the scheduler argued that we did not have a referral, even though they had previously kept calling us about it. Only after we explained for 20 minutes did she schedule us. Early the next morning, we got up and prepared to go to the appointment, only to discover that they had scheduled an initial consultation. Even though I had the referral and all the documentation to prove it, they argued with us about the referral again. In the end, they simply dismissed us, saying he could have the test but that we would have to sort out the cost ourselves. The whole process was so stressful that my husband could not even provide a sample. We tried to schedule again, and once more they did not know about the referral. We argued about it until Hannah stepped in to help, and only then did they finally understand. Even so, they remained completely confused. He finally provided the sample on the day of the appointment. A few days later, we followed up again, and they said the results were not ready and would take 10-14 days. I then called my OB-GYN to reschedule my follow-up because it required my husband's test results. Another 3.5 weeks passed with no word, so I called again. They then said the results had been processed on the very day he went in. They wasted my time by rescheduling an appointment for no reason when the results had been available all along. No one called to notify me. No one knows what is going on. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this clinic. I have had nothing but problems.

I had a very poor experience at Brown Fertility and believe others should know. There were many hidden fees. The doctor did not seem to care about me. After each cycle, I waited a month to see the doctor, who was over an hour late for every appointment. At several critical points in my IVF cycle, the doctor was unavailable and no covering doctor was assigned. When important decisions were needed about continuing the cycle, I could not obtain medical guidance. Staff could not provide it, and I ultimately had to cancel the cycle. Our IVF nurse made many errors involving medication, testing, and other matters. The financial handling afterward was also very concerning. I signed a fee schedule exceeding $16,000. After cancellation, I received written confirmation of the cancellation charges and expected refund, but the check was several thousand dollars short. Despite repeated follow-up over several months, I received no clear explanation or resolution. I also found an error in my record stating the cycle was canceled because of a spontaneous pregnancy, which was untrue and very upsetting. After repeated unsuccessful attempts to resolve these issues directly, I filed a formal complaint and initiated court proceedings. This experience caused immense emotional and financial stress. I hope the clinic improves physician coverage, communication, and consistency in its financial processes so others do not face similar problems.

My experience at Brown was wonderful, and I am truly grateful. For context, I have lean PCOS and irregular ovulation, so becoming pregnant was not easy. I first tried two IUIs, which failed, though I knew IUI success rates were limited. A few months later, when I was ready for IVF, I met Dr. Brown. Based on my history and age, he sincerely told me he believed I could become pregnant, which was very reassuring. From the first visit, I felt cared for and supported. He even gave me his phone number so I could contact him with questions, which meant a great deal. Soon afterward, I began IVF. Through every ultrasound and appointment, I felt valued and cared for. The team was kind and efficient, and I never had difficulty scheduling or getting help. My first fresh cycle succeeded, and today I am pregnant with my first baby 🤍 I especially thank Kristin Giudice, who performed my egg retrieval and transfer. She was gentle and caring and made me feel completely at ease. She could not attend my first ultrasound in person, but still joined by video call to share that moment with us. I will never forget it. She made this experience truly special. I now feel spoiled because I have transitioned to my OB-GYN and hope to receive the same outstanding care everywhere. I sincerely hope everyone at Brown experiences this same level of care. I truly felt God's love through the people there. I am grateful to everyone at the clinic, from the front desk and nurses to the entire team. You made such an important time in my life feel safe, supported, and beautiful.

Absolutely disrespectful! I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment, waited an hour, and Dr. Brown never showed up!

I unfortunately missed a call and The lady who picks up the phone asked me 1 million questions about my personal information which would not be on file because I would have been a new client.

Absolutely Inexcusable Negligence – Do Not Trust This Clinic With Your Care After a year of treatment and tens of thousands of dollars invested, this clinic failed me on the one day that truly mattered. They promise results by noon – but on the most critical day, when my fertility levels would determine next steps, I had to call repeatedly throughout the day. No one called me back. No one met their own deadline. Hours of silence when every hour mattered. Two days later, when my results were inconclusive, I returned for another test on Friday. Again, I called over and over for updates. And this time? The staff simply went home for the weekend without ever giving me my results. Let that sink in: after a year of procedures, medications, emotional toll, and enormous financial cost, the clinic’s staff literally walked out the door and left me in limbo—no answers, no compassion, no professionalism. This is not just an inconvenience. It’s cruelty. It’s negligence. It is a fundamental betrayal of trust at the most vulnerable moment in a patient’s life. How can a fertility clinic, of all places, justify disappearing when patients are waiting on life-altering results? If you value accountability, compassion, or even basic professionalism, do not put your future in the hands of this clinic. They are happy to take your money, but when it comes to the critical moment, they fail in the most unforgivable way.

Brown Fertility helped us conceive our miracle child! We had difficulty trying on our own, so we sought fertility care. We loved the doctors and nurses at Brown; they were helpful and understood our situation. After our second IUI, I finally had a positive pregnancy test! She is our little miracle from God. We could not have done it without Brown Fertility. I highly recommend them!

Beware! I was seen here and told I could ‘never’ become pregnant and would need IVF in September. They said my tubes were blocked, and I believed them and went through the process until I learned at my next appointment that I had already been pregnant for several days. I referred many people here, and they seem to tell everyone their tubes are blocked!

We loved our experience with Brown Fertility. Our IVF nurse, Jennie W., was outstanding and supported us every step of the way!

One of the worst medical experiences of our lives. All the other reviews about the clinic are accurate: they pass you among “consultants” and waste your time and money. Dr. Brown's arrogance overshadows everything! From our first call, we asked the clinic one question: “Would they freeze our unfertilized eggs rather than embryos and proceed from there?” This was the only approach we wanted, and we were very clear from the beginning. It is also a simple, fair, and common question in this field, and we felt we should know the answer before deciding whether to work with them. Under Dr. Brown's process, however, you must complete extensive lab work, sign documents, have a financial consultation, and who knows what else before getting an answer. We completed our “tasks” and finally met Dr. Brown. We asked our question and explained how important it was to us. Instead of answering, he challenged our beliefs and views about life, religion, and God. We clearly were not seeking spiritual advice, so we again explained how we wanted to proceed, stating that it arose from our beliefs about the sanctity of life and our faith. We simply asked whether he could or would accommodate us. He again attacked our beliefs, insulted and disrespected us, and spoke condescendingly, while still avoiding a clear yes or no. Because I have an inherited condition—note that it is minor, very common, and has no impact on daily life—Dr. Brown gave us an “ultimatum” that he would help us only if he could “discard” every embryo that inherited my genetic sequence. He stated that there was no value in bringing a sick life into the world. Should that not be the parents' decision? They are the ones who live with the consequences of their decision. What kind of Nazi Germany does Dr. Brown imagine he is living in? My husband had had enough and asked Brown whether he was “implying that my wife's life has no value because of her genetic condition?” We clearly said we would not work with him and left. As he shouted after us, he said he would not accept us as IVF clients anyway and “would not even perform IUI for you.” You may have very different beliefs about this issue, and I am not here to change them. I am here to let people know that anyone seeking fertility treatment deserves better care than what Brown, in his infinite wisdom, provides. Any couple struggling deserves better than an arrogant “avoid litigation at all costs” approach. In our experience, Brown has abandoned his Hippocratic oath and feels obligated to help nothing but his wallet. We genuinely want to warn anyone considering Brown Fertility. This is not a place that tries to help or show compassion to people already facing a difficult situation.

Brown Fertility gave me an amazing experience, especially as this is my first child. Their patience, care, and support for my wife and me were truly remarkable. Special thanks to Nurse Jenny, who is the best! My wife and I are now delighted to be part of the Brown family.

This location and the Baymeadows location may have given us the worst experience we have ever had with a medical office. The doctors are excellent, but the problems begin when you must deal with other staff. They schedule an appointment, make you wait hours beyond the scheduled time, and then unapologetically give medical advice that completely contradicts the previous visit without adequately explaining why. They then fail to call in time-sensitive medication and are entirely unwilling to help when you explain the problem. Fertility issues are already heartbreaking, so you would expect a fertility clinic to be helpful, kind, and professional. Brown Fertility is none of these. Instead, it makes an already stressful process even worse.

The staff are pleasant, but the clinic lacks pricing transparency. My consultation lasted less than 15 minutes, and I did not sign HIPAA or financial responsibility forms. Although the doctor was friendly, pricing was not discussed and was instead deferred to a financial coordinator, who has not contacted me since the appointment. Based on thorough research and intuition, I decided not to continue with this clinic. Anyone considering Brown should be cautious about having blood drawn in the office. They send samples to Natera, a laboratory that faced a 2021 lawsuit over fraudulent billing practices and has faced several other lawsuits with similar allegations. After contacting Natera, I learned the out-of-pocket cost for the initial Brown test was $349, contrary to the advertised price of $249 confirmed by other patients in online forums. In short, Brown discloses the actual cost only after providing services, excluding the $150 consultation fee.

A very positive experience so far! The doctors and nurses make you feel respected and heard.

Be aware that they will force you to pay out of pocket at your first appointment whether or not you have insurance. We were told by phone that because they did not have physical copies of my insurance card and driver's license, they could not bill my insurance. I asked to speak with the office manager because no one had told me this. After 45 minutes on hold, they disconnected me. I called back and was placed on hold for another 20 minutes. During that time, they said their cancellation policy would apply and I would have to pay a fee. Needless to say, I will not pay it or return. The first appointment costs $150, after which they say they will ‘bill’ insurance, but the appointment is never submitted as a claim. Terrible service. Stay away.
