Fécondation in vitro

Nurse practitioner Dayna and nurse Kristin are amazing! Dayna is knowledgeable and kind, and Kristin always responds quickly to all my messages and questions. Receiving care at RMA means experiencing this level of personalized attention and thoughtfulness from your very first appointment! Thank you so much, Dayna and Kristin. You are both wonderful!

The financial team communicated very poorly from the beginning. The doctor was good.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at RMA. The level of professionalism, communication, and patient support I encountered was wholly inadequate, particularly given the nature and sensitivity of fertility treatment. As a physician, I have a clear understanding of what constitutes appropriate patient care, and I was genuinely appalled by how my case was handled. The process felt impersonal and transactional, with little regard for the emotional and psychological strain associated with treatment. At a cost of approximately $20,000 per cycle, the lack of accountability and attention to detail is unacceptable. I underwent two cycles that, by physician admission, were handled incorrectly. This should not occur under any circumstances, especially in a specialty that demands precision and individualized care. Following two failed cycles, I made repeated attempts to schedule a follow-up consultation directly with my physician. Despite multiple requests, I was unable to speak with a doctor. Access was consistently restricted through nursing staff, with no clear path to escalation or physician engagement. More concerning, I was ultimately informed that my physician would no longer continue my care and that I should seek a second opinion. While I am open to doing so, RMA has failed to provide me with my medical records despite multiple calls and emails to both administrative staff and management. To date, I have received no response. This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable and directly interferes with my ability to pursue timely care elsewhere, particularly when I have been explicitly advised that timing is critical in this process. If your case is routine and requires minimal physician involvement, you may have a satisfactory experience. However, if you expect access to your physician, clear communication, and a level of care that reflects the seriousness of treatment, I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.

My wife and I are extremely disappointed with our experience at RMA. The level of professionalism, communication, and patient support we encountered was wholly inadequate, particularly given the nature and sensitivity of fertility treatment. My wife is a physician, and she has a clear understanding of what constitutes appropriate patient care. We were both genuinely appalled by how her case was handled. The process felt impersonal and transactional, with little regard for the emotional and psychological toll that treatment takes — not just on the patient, but on the family going through it together. At a cost of approximately $20,000 per cycle, the lack of accountability and attention to detail is unacceptable. My wife underwent two cycles that, by admission, were handled incorrectly. This should not happen under any circumstances, especially in a specialty that demands precision and individualized care. A special mention for Dr. Morris's office and Tracy, who still have not called me back. Do not waste your time. Even a good doctor is not enough when the office service is poor—you will experience unnecessary stress. Their service is inadequate: they call and leave a voicemail, but no one answers when you call back. The customer service center cannot help because they do not understand their own platform. 🤦🏻‍♀️ They did not even know their system had emailed you that morning! Then they hung up on you!!!! They also threatened to cancel your appointment, although they had more than two weeks to follow up through their own system and determine what went wrong. Absolutely terrible.

Sorry to give 1 star 🙈, but given my circumstances, I truly believe I deserved to be taken more seriously. I am glad I left this company and should have left sooner. That is all. Good luck, ladies, and sending baby dust.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Update: Another doctor generously agreed to see me. I was supposed to receive a scheduling call by the end of the day, but no one called, so I called back at 3:30 p.m. The first two calls went to voicemail. On the third call, I blocked my number and it was answered immediately. This doctor was only willing to speak by phone. For something this important, I preferred an in-person discussion like the one I had in February. I was told this doctor does not do that, so I asked to change doctors and was told I could not. I am now stuck with a doctor who refuses to meet in person to discuss the most important issue in my life. Why was I randomly assigned a doctor? What if I do not like them? I should be able to change doctors for any reason or no reason. After repeated discussions, they reluctantly agreed to a telehealth appointment. I have also contacted James O’Malley several times and never received a response. My fiancé and I are deciding whether to have a child now and postpone our wedding, or freeze embryos and wait. My egg count is very low and falling quickly, so I wanted to see a doctor to discuss our options. She refused to see me in person because she had seen me in February. My egg count declined from February to May, and the situation has changed. This is the most important decision of my life, and I need medical guidance, but she refuses to see me. I asked for a call and could not even get that. I have never been refused by a doctor, especially for something this important. The attached image shows the conversation with the nurse. Our nurse, Dayna, is completely shielded by other nurses. I cannot communicate with her by email, phone, or appointment. The finance department is also terrible. They charge you twice, but you cannot obtain copies of invoices, so you do not know you were double-charged. More than once, a paid bill was not marked as paid, so my account was frozen and I could not schedule another appointment—assuming a doctor would even agree to see me.

I cannot say enough good things about RMA Fertility and Dr. Hong's outstanding team, who supported us endlessly throughout our journey. From the beginning, Dr. Hong was a beacon of hope and care. She is not only brilliant in her field, but also exceptionally kind and patient. At our first consultation, she sat with us, drew diagrams, and explained the entire process in detail, leaving us informed and confident. Her genuine care extended beyond the clinical setting—after our unfortunate miscarriage, she showed deep compassion and gave us hope when we needed it most. Thanks to her, we are now successfully pregnant again, and I truly believe she is an angel on earth. The nursing staff were equally exceptional. Nurse Amanda was always helpful, punctual, and courteous, making every visit comfortable and caring. Sandra at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile every time, and Ernesto, who drew my blood, was always funny and calm, making me look forward to my weekly blood draws. Many wonderful people contributed to my care at RMA. Although I may not remember every name, I want to thank each of you. Every interaction I had at RMA was positive, and I will always be grateful for the role each of you played in helping our family grow. Thank you, RMA!

RMA is wonderful. Dr. Gill is an excellent, knowledgeable, and compassionate physician. Communication with the care team was excellent. I could message my nurse directly in the app, and she responded immediately. It was amazing! Excellent medical care.

Follow-up on Medical Records Request Dear Clinic Owner, On 12/18, I submitted a request to have my medical records sent to another clinic. I was assured that the records would be faxed within 10 days. However, as of today, 1/4, I have not received any confirmation, and my follow-up email to medicalrecords@ivirma.com has gone unanswered. No one is answering the phone anymore. This delay has caused me tremendous stress because every day is critical to my care. I respectfully request an update on the status of my request and that this issue be resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your prompt attention to this urgent matter.

We will always be grateful to RMA for giving us two beautiful, healthy boys. We tried to conceive on our own for years before discovering fertility obstacles. After 2 unsuccessful IVF cycles, our final 2 embryos became Logan and, two years later, Luke—it felt meant to be. I wish strength, patience, and love to everyone going through this challenging journey.

Forever grateful to Dr. Morris and her registered nurse Dana for helping us have two beautiful children.

If you are paying out of pocket, be prepared to see this place’s true nature. They are desperate for money and will find any excuse to charge you large fees. Even after we prepaid the full cost of an IVF transfer, financial coordinator Jennifer Tesoriero emailed me after I was discharged, saying that some services provided while I was paying had somehow not been paid for. Anyone who has worked with RMA knows they require payment before providing any service, yet somehow I still owed a bill of nearly $2000 that surfaced after I left. When I asked for an explanation, because I had her email as proof that I had paid in full, and asked why I had not been informed of these charges before the services were provided, she said her supervisor would contact me. Months later, I am still waiting for that call. To those who respond to these reviews with several different email addresses asking people to contact you: I have emailed you multiple times and never received a reply.
