Dr. Kovacs is excellent. The music was great. He knows what he is doing. If you feel pain, he gives you more local anesthetic. I took the prescribed alprazolam and felt comfortable.

First, look up how to identify fake Google reviews, and you'll find that the 4.9-star rating is completely fake.
I fully agree with all the complaints in the one-star reviews: the service was chaotic and unprofessional, and in the end, I was charged extra for no reason. I booked a one-hour appointment, but the time was changed twice, and on the day itself, it was rescheduled at the last minute. The actual consultation lasted less than 20 minutes, yet I was billed for a full hour.

I hesitated to write a review because I did not know how to describe a positive vasectomy experience. Haha. But after speaking with Lori tonight, I knew what to say. The entire process was easy and smooth from start to finish. Posterity Health made me feel like a person, not just a number or dollar sign. Derek in scheduling was wonderful and always kept me informed. Dr. Kovac was 100% amazing. He had a great attitude and made me laugh when I did not want to. I felt much better leaving the office than when I entered. (Men do not get excited about this procedure.) Dr. Kovac knew I was nervous and helped calm me. Tonight I learned that my insurance did not process the claim because I had not met my deductible. It is silly, but that is how it is. Lori in billing took time to investigate and call me with an explanation. She had no reason to apologize, but did so repeatedly. I told her this did not reflect on Posterity; it was a serious insurance misunderstanding. Honestly, I have only praise for the Posterity team. I highly recommend Dr. Kovac and his team to anyone considering a vasectomy. Thank you again for making me feel like a person, not a number. There are not enough stars to truly rate them.

My name is Zach, and I just had varicocele repair surgery with Dr. Kovac. I saw several urologists and a repair specialist. Dr. Kovac was the only one who provided answers and a solution that made me comfortable. His bedside manner was excellent—courteous and friendly—and he made everything less awkward. I highly recommend Dr. Kovac for varicocele repair. The procedure seems to have gone well, and he even took photos to explain what he did. I could not be happier and hope things continue to improve!

Posterity Health uses deceptive billing practices. I carefully confirmed coverage with my insurer, Posterity Health, and Sheer Health. Posterity Health told me they were located in Southern California and accepted my insurance, but did not disclose that my telehealth appointment would be with a doctor in Colorado. My insurance does not cover out-of-state doctors, and Posterity Health has now sent me a $567 bill that I cannot afford. I researched everything in advance to ensure my appointment would be covered, but Posterity Health misrepresented its location and concealed the doctor's location, which I find extremely deceptive. They refuse to negotiate the bill, and I cannot afford it because I live paycheck to paycheck. I strongly recommend finding an honest doctor and avoiding Poster Health.

I was unimpressed with the care provided by the telehealth fertility doctor. He ordered genetic blood work and scrotal imaging but did not review the results before my next appointment. He had us read the results, then insisted that I see a urologist immediately. He essentially implied a false narrative about testicular cancer without saying it directly. I also learned that I have Klinefelter syndrome and was told there was a 20% chance of finding sperm. I found Dr. Turek online and saw him the following week. Dr. Turek performed a physical examination and ordered blood tests. Cancer was not a concern, and he found none. To confirm, he tested alpha-fetoprotein (tumor marker), total lactate dehydrogenase, and total HCG. All results were low within the normal range, meaning there was no testicular cancer. Dr. Turek said my experience with Posterity Health could constitute malpractice. I had no reason to pursue them, since I had only two telehealth visits and two weeks of fear about cancer. It was better to leave and find someone better, like Dr. Turek. Dr. Turek also said his techniques offered a 50-60% chance of finding sperm in my case.

Dr. Masson himself is an excellent, knowledgeable, and highly skilled provider. Posterity's office staffing model is concerning, with different people responsible for different areas. One person schedules office visits, another schedules procedures, and another takes payments. Also be careful because the office staff are in different time zones. Christine Gardner was the only helpful office staff member I worked with. The call-center and staffing model is very confusing and needs to be completely rebuilt.
I am updating this review. Posterity Health remains an incompetent fertility provider. Dr. Masson no longer works there; he is now on the faculty at the University of Miami. Three months after scheduling surgery, we unexpectedly received a $2,400 anesthesia charge that was not included in our original estimate. My wife and I decided to receive care from another fertility company.
Do yourself and your family a favor and stay away from Posterity Health.

Dr. Masson is the most knowledgeable, capable, kind, responsive, and compassionate doctor I have met. He took over my case from another doctor because it fell within his specialty, and I am glad he did. Dr. Masson outlined the surgical and treatment steps we needed, and everything happened quickly and smoothly. He was thorough and informative and did everything possible to make my wife and me comfortable. He always spent plenty of time with us, patiently listening and answering every question. It is difficult to find a doctor so skilled and knowledgeable with such excellent bedside manner. My experience with him was outstanding, and I recommend him without reservation.

Frustrating billing and communication experience
I had high expectations when I chose Prosperity Fertility, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely frustrating because of their poor handling of billing and communication.
I provided updated insurance information in July 2024 and have since sent countless emails and text messages and made multiple calls trying to resolve the issue. Each time I was told, “We are looking into it,” but five months later, I am still waiting. I have now been referred to the billing department, which appears to have stopped responding entirely.
This delay is unreasonable, especially since I prepaid, attended appointments on time, and promptly answered every call. Whether or not my insurance covers anything, billing the correct insurer promptly is a basic procedure.
Regarding the surgery, Dr. Pollard performed it well, and I would recommend him for surgery, but his comments beforehand unnecessarily raised my expectations. He assured me he was not concerned and was confident he would find sperm, but unfortunately, that did not happen. Although I know not everything is within a surgeon's control, those comments left me feeling misled and ultimately disappointed.
Overall, my disappointment is not only with the result, but also with how poorly the office handled its administrative responsibilities. I dislike leaving negative reviews, but this situation was extremely frustrating and avoidable.

This place tried to charge me $75 for an appointment I scheduled but never confirmed. We are working very hard to have a child and save money, while these thieves try to charge whatever their automated system tells them to. I never said, “Okay, this appointment works for me.” Wrong.

Dr. Pollard is an excellent urologist. He accurately diagnosed me within minutes, and we scheduled surgery. The microsurgery was quick and took only 45 minutes. It was painless, even during recovery except for mild discomfort, and I was back to normal after two weeks. The surgery had a very positive effect on my quality of life. His staff were also very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had always wanted a child. We saw Dr. Pollard for about 9 months and then successfully conceived.
However, I should mention several points. Research every medication they prescribe, including side effects and better alternatives. They prescribe whatever is most convenient for them. For example, long-term clomiphene treatment here made me feel terrible. My concerns were ignored until I strongly advocated for switching to enclomiphene, which worked.
Also remember that this is a business. They are not helping you have a child out of kindness. An hCG plus clomiphene cycle costs about $300-400 cash per month and is unlikely to be covered by insurance. There will also be extensive bloodwork and other semen analyses, so check whether your insurance covers these diagnostics.
Next is billing and communication. If I could rate this separately, I would give it one star. They say all responses require a certain amount of time and mainly communicate through the portal because they dislike phone calls. But half the time they simply ignore your messages, and you may have to follow up repeatedly to get a response. The communication experience was terrible.
Keep these points in mind, and best wishes on your journey to having a baby!

Dr. Pollard and his team are very kind and attentive. We wanted a physician who specialized in fertility rather than infertility, and they provided exactly the care and treatment we needed. I have so many good things to say about Dr. Bakare. She gave us a chance to have a biological family. When everyone said no and told us my husband might be unable to have children, she made it possible. She worked with us for nearly a year and never gave up, even when we wanted to. We are finally expecting our first child in November, and we cannot wait!!!

A very disappointing experience with Dr. Bakare.
My husband scheduled an appointment with Dr. Bakare by phone several weeks in advance, speaking with Olivia. On the morning of the appointment, we drove an hour and a half and were told he was not in their system as a patient and had no appointment. The medical assistant was unhelpful and seemed unconcerned about the inconvenience. She never apologized and kept saying there was nothing she could do. I dislike healthcare staff who are not solution-oriented, especially when their services are expensive and self-pay only.
We asked to speak directly with Dr. Bakare, but she refused to come to the lobby or even apologize for her team's error. They wasted our time and fuel, and we had both taken time off work. Our fertility doctor had referred us and said she was one of the area's best urologists. That was untrue! This was not at all the experience we expected with Dr. Bakare; it was disappointing and deeply frustrating.
I immediately emailed my fertility doctor afterward. They apologized for our experience and referred us to another, better urologist. Dr. Bakare is a joke. Be careful when booking with them.

Throughout our IVF treatment, my husband was treated by Dr. Evan Mulloy in Houston. We initially knew very little about the process and never questioned the doctor's guidance. Looking back, I cannot believe DNA fragmentation testing was never recommended despite multiple semen analyses showing low motility, high sperm mortality, and a low sperm count. We had to request the test ourselves. They did not even suggest it after our first failed embryo transfer. It was a complete waste of our time and money. They simply encouraged more IVF cycles and repeated basic semen analyses without investigating the underlying cause.
