シャロン・E・モアエリ医師、米国
私は、約20年の経験を持つ不妊症専門医・婦人科医、Sharon Moayeri医師（MD、MPH、MS、FACOG）です。カリフォルニア州ニューポートビーチのOC Fertility®と OC Biogenix®の創設者兼メディカルディレクターとして、米国産婦人科専門医会（ABOG）から産婦人科および生殖内分泌学・不妊症の二重専門医認定を受けています。
カリフォルニア大学アーバイン校（UCI）で学び続け、生物科学と認知科学を二重専攻で卒業した後、UCLAで公衆衛生学修士号を取得しました。専門は医療政策で、公衆衛生プログラムの開発、実施、評価に取り組みました。
臨床現場で患者一人ひとりと向き合う仕事に魅力を感じ、UCI医学部で医学の学位を取得するためオレンジ郡に戻りました。そこで産婦人科のインターンシップと研修を修了し、研修医長も務めました。
研修修了後は北カリフォルニアに移り、スタンフォード病院・クリニックで生殖内分泌学・不妊症のフェローシップを受けました。その間、スタンフォード大学医療政策センターで、医療研究・品質庁（AHRQ）および国立衛生研究所（NIH）の博士研究員向け研究フェローシップを受け、医療サービス研究の修士号を取得しました。研究では、治療成績、医療に関する意思決定における経済の影響、費用対効果に焦点を当てました。
2009年にニューポートビーチへ戻って間もなく、個人診療所OC Fertility®を開設しました。最新技術を用いながら患者体験を重視し、家族形成という目標に向けて取り組める支援的で安全な環境を整えた、個別化された患者中心の現代的な不妊治療を実現するという構想が形になりました。
これまで、American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology（AJOG） およびFertility and Sterility®の査読を担当し、胚盤胞移植、がん・生殖医療、着床前遺伝学的検査（PGT）、多嚢胞性卵巣症候群（PCOS）、妊孕性温存、費用対効果の高い不妊治療について講演・発表してきました。また、教育および患者満足度に関する賞を数多く受賞しています。
2021年、体外受精（IVF）ラボの共同創設者、パートナー、メディカルディレクターを約十年間務めた後、院内体外受精（IVF）ラボ兼手術室であるOC Biogenixを立ち上げました。OC FertilityとOC Biogenixのチームを一つにすることで、トラウマに配慮した環境で患者を途切れなく支援しながら、専門知識と先進技術を活用して治療成績の向上に取り組んでいます。
女性の健康に尽力する中小企業経営者として、地域社会とのつながりを保ち、がんと妊孕性、卵子・胚の妊孕性温存、遺伝学、胚検査、卵子または精子の提供、代理出産に関する知識を共有しています。患者の現在および将来の生殖に関する選択を支援する方法について、他の医療専門職に説明を求められることも少なくありません。また、STEM分野に進む次世代の女性を指導し、励ましています。

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this fertility clinic. Saying they lack customer service is an understatement. First, they incorrectly charged me for a follow-up consultation, which was very frustrating. Worse, despite my repeated attempts to contact them, I never received my September laboratory results, and it is now nearly March. None of my inquiries received a response. This is completely unprofessional.
They also failed to explain any of the medication they sent to my pharmacy. I did not know what it was, why I should take it, or its potential side effects, leaving me confused and anxious. But that was only the beginning of my frustration. Worst of all, my doctor, Sachdev, left midway through my treatment without any prior notice, completely abandoning my care.
I repeatedly tried to contact someone in management to resolve these issues. I left several messages with the front desk but never received a return call. It was as though they did not care about their patients or accept any accountability. For a clinic handling something as sensitive as fertility, their lack of communication and attention to detail is absolutely inexcusable.
I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They have proven incompetent, unprofessional, and completely negligent.

I had my egg retrieval this morning and am grateful to Dr. Moayeri and her entire team at OC Fertility. This was certainly a stressful and somewhat nerve-racking process, but everyone at the practice made the experience very comfortable! Each day I went for monitoring or bloodwork, I felt very positive. I am 29 and simply wanted to reduce the pressure of the female biological clock, and the entire staff supported me and helped me through every step. Dr. Moayeri made me feel comfortable throughout! I was also always able to see Dr. Sachdev, who was wonderful and explained everything to me! The process was excellent! Once you get used to the injections, they do not hurt and are very easy. The main issue is that it is time-consuming, and you need to remember every injection.

Dr. Moayeri and her team at OC Fertility were amazing. Her team was very communicative with me and assisted me with making sure we had all my records and documents lined up for a successful first visit. Dr. Moayeri was warm and friendly from the start. I wanted to see her for a second opinion and see what my options were. She made me feel like I wasn’t alone and provided me with hope and reassurance for my situation. I would definitely recommend Dr. Moayeri.

Lovely office and friendly staff. The doctor was kind and attentive. Procedure costs were confusing because no one could explain the fees. This information should be readily available and easy to provide.

I am very glad I found OC Fertility. From the moment I entered the clinic, the experience felt reassuring and positive. From the front desk staff to medical assistant Ava and Dr. Sharon, everyone was kind, patient, and helpful. The clinic itself is beautiful and spacious, which helps ease what can be a very anxious process. The entire team is knowledgeable and attentive, and I felt genuinely cared for at every step. I recently started treatment at this clinic. My husband and I transferred from Kaiser and decided to try another IUI at Dr. Moayeri's practice. Although my journey has just begun, the staff here are excellent, attentive, and welcoming. Jamie, NP, guided me kindly and gently through the entire process. At our first visit with Dr. Moayeri, she addressed our needs and concerns, made my husband and me feel at ease, and explained every detail thoroughly.

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Moayeri, Jamie NP, and all the other wonderful team members at OC Fertility. After years of heartbreak, disappointment, and multiple failed transfers at my previous clinic, I decided to trust OC Fertility, and I am so glad I did. My case was far from easy, but Dr. Moayeri accepted the challenge and ultimately succeeded. She created a personalized frozen embryo transfer protocol for me with daily blood tests and frequent ultrasounds. My previous doctors had all used standard, one-size-fits-all protocols, which unfortunately did not work for me! Now my miracle baby is about to enter the second trimester, and I could not be more excited! I highly recommend OC Fertility to anyone seeking highly personalized, expert fertility care.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Moayeri and her entire team! After a long and difficult fertility journey, I finally found a clinic where I felt genuinely cared for at every step.
Dr. Moayeri is not only exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled, but also brings warmth and compassion that are especially important during such an emotional journey. She patiently answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly, making me feel like a partner in my treatment rather than just a patient.
What truly sets this clinic apart, however, is the entire team. Everyone I met—from the front desk and nurses to the medical assistants—was professional, kind, and genuinely invested in my outcome. They made what could have been a stressful experience manageable and even hopeful.
And the anesthesiologist! They may have been my favorite person. They were calm, reassuring, and highly skilled. Their expertise and manner were truly outstanding—they explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable, and kept me laughing until I fell asleep. I felt great when I woke up, entirely because of their skill and attentive care.
My egg retrieval went very smoothly thanks to the entire team's coordination and expertise. If you are looking for a fertility clinic where you will be treated like family while receiving first-rate medical care, look no further. Dr. Moayeri and her team are truly among the best in the field.

At first I gave five stars. It seems you can get something free for leaving a five-star review, so do not be misled by all the five-star ratings.
Dr. Moayeri is pleasant and encouraging and makes you think she is insightful until you meet a doctor who truly knows the field.
She uses a book to determine which medications and doses you need based on your age and weight, so your IVF protocol is not personalized.
My husband and I came here in our twenties with great hopes and dreams, but we left heartbroken and without answers. She always said, 'Hang in there,' as though we were an emotionless, bottomless source of money.
We had to pay all fees upfront, at least in 2021/2022, because they do not work directly with insurance. As expected, only $2,500 of the $30,000 was reimbursed.
We sought a second opinion in TJ, Mexico. Instead of wasting more than two years and tens of thousands of dollars, we spent one-third as much and two months using minimal medication. We now have triplets and 6 frozen embryos. The difference is remarkable.
I deeply regret seeing Dr. Moayeri and wasting valuable time and money, although it was ultimately a lesson.
IVF is difficult, and doctors and clinics should work harder and do their very best.

I love Dr. Moayeri. Her office staff are very attentive, and the doctors are present and even perform every ultrasound. It is refreshing to visit a fertility office where the doctors know your name and check on you regularly.

The first consultation was wonderful. We felt very excited and hopeful about the future. Dr. Moayeri was very understanding and answered my questions well!

OC Fertility is absolutely incredible. Dr. M and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I interviewed several clinics before choosing OC Fertility, and it was a great decision. The team was always available to answer questions at every step. We welcomed our baby girl in February and are very happy with our choice.
