Words cannot express how grateful I am to the entire RSC team. From the beginning, they made me feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Everyone I met was compassionate, encouraging, and knowledgeable. They never made me feel like just another patient or appointment on the schedule—they genuinely care about their patients and are committed to making this difficult journey a little easier.
A special thank-you to Allie, who stood by me during my most difficult days. Her kindness, empathy, and unwavering support made the fertility treatment process feel less overwhelming, and I am incredibly grateful.
Whether you are considering egg freezing, beginning IVF treatment, or simply looking for a team that will take your fertility concerns seriously, I highly recommend RSC.

Unfortunately, apart from the nurses and nurse practitioner Valerie, who was always wonderful, I experienced very little compassion, concern, or consideration. There was almost no communication during treatment, and I waited nearly a month for the doctor to give me my biopsy results. I understand that no fertility clinic is perfect and that they are all very busy, but at my previous clinic, I saw the doctor more often and he remained in close contact with me throughout the process.
At this clinic, even when I finally saw the doctor, I felt no connection at all, and I spent almost the entire appointment crying. I understand that this is a difficult specialty and that providers can become desensitized, but it is also a field where patients deserve compassion and care because this is an extremely painful and difficult journey.

Visiting a fertility clinic can be one of the most vulnerable and emotionally difficult experiences in life. After years of uncertainty and obstacles, the last thing you want is a clinic that does not listen to you.
Fortunately, everyone at this clinic was very supportive. My experience here, as well as the care I expect to receive in the future, makes me happy to recommend them to friends, family, or even strangers. From the patience of the front desk staff and the efficiency of the blood draws to the nurses who answered my many questions in person or through the online portal the same day—and most importantly, the embryology team and Dr. Johnson—I felt heard and cared for throughout the entire process.
Although the journey was not always smooth, it was ultimately successful, and I am very grateful to their team! I look forward to seeing them again in the future as we try for our second baby. Do not hesitate to choose the Carolina Conceptions team for your fertility journey!

After graduating from the Carolina Reproductive Specialty Center, I truly cannot put into words my gratitude to Dr. Johnson and her entire team. From the very beginning, we experienced their meticulous care, support, ample information, and genuine attention throughout the entire IVF treatment process.
Dr. Johnson not only possesses profound knowledge and professional expertise but also embodies warmth and compassion—qualities that are especially important in a process that can sometimes be emotionally turbulent and overwhelming. She always patiently answered our questions and explained various issues in detail, giving us confidence in our treatment.
Every nurse, coordinator, sonographer, and staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, enthusiastic, and fully dedicated to our treatment process. The clinic's communication and organization were outstanding, and we always felt we were receiving the best possible care.
Graduating from the clinic brings us both joy and reluctance, as this team means so much to our family. We are immensely grateful for their help in building our family and will forever cherish this experience.

Our experience at Carolina Reproductive Specialists has been excellent so far. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They patiently explain every step and process in detail, making sure you feel comfortable throughout. Communication remains prompt and smooth despite the many components of fertility treatment.
I only began treatment this month, but based on the earlier consultation and phone calls, I feel very supported, fully informed, and confident in their care. This is much more complex than routine primary care, and they balance that complexity exceptionally well with clarity and compassion.

This was an extremely disappointing and stressful experience. Communication was terrible: portal messages went unanswered for weeks, and my test results were not reviewed until nearly a month later despite repeated follow-ups. I was asked to repeat tests I had already completed and repeatedly received the same bill despite having paid it. Contacting the billing department directly made no difference.
Although the doctor I met once by video was kind, there was little follow-up or guidance. Because of the delays, I missed an important testing window. If time is critical and you need timely care, I strongly recommend reconsidering this practice.

Unfortunately, I relate to many of the one-star reviews here, which share a common theme. Good communication is essential at an organization like this. Although communication was usually friendly, it was inadequate and extremely frustrating; we often waited days or even weeks for a response. We had one successful intrauterine insemination (IUI), for which I am deeply grateful. After the successful procedure, we were scheduled for follow-up visits that now appear medically and financially unnecessary, and we also encountered billing and insurance problems. At one point, I was told the pregnancy would probably not continue, yet the nurse could not answer my questions. Over a year and a half, we had two failed IVF cycles. One cycle was wasted because poor communication led to inadequate monitoring. For an organization providing such intimate, personal care, these communication problems are very concerning. Unfortunately, many patients seem to have experienced similar disappointment, stress, and frustration here.

Communication and service are terrible. Calls and text messages are answered slowly, and many others seem to have experienced the same problem. They refused to contact my insurance company for authorization because my insurance was out of network, even though my insurer said the clinic could join the network by contacting them and providing the necessary information. After reading other reviews, I found that this clinic has many problems. Based on the customer service I experienced, I would not recommend it to anyone.

I hardly know where to begin. This clinic is amazing! Everyone, from the front desk to the nurses and doctors, is outstanding. My primary doctor was Dr. Gidey. The medical team supported her throughout my treatment, but she led my care. She is an extraordinary person, and I could say more than space allows. During treatment, she let me work with her as a team. We discussed different situations and made decisions together. She let me speak openly and seriously considered my suggestions. My beautiful daughter is here today because of her! She is thorough, proactive, and loving, and she balances patient support with physical and emotional well-being.
Dr. Gidey, thank you so much. I know you will continue helping many people throughout your career.
Dr. Johnson, thank you as well for your dedication and excellent team. This clinic is wonderful, and I highly recommend it for any healthcare needs. All the best!

We began with hope but had a terrible experience. My husband and I felt more like sources of revenue than patients. The staff struggled to communicate next steps, appointment times, and insurance claims, delaying my treatment cycle and progress. They focused excessively on payment while showing little concern for actual care. They pressured us toward more invasive and expensive treatments that we did not need. We had to work hard with our insurer to obtain the treatment we actually needed. Ultimately, because they failed to explain the complicated claims process promptly, we lost an entire treatment cycle and transferred to another clinic.

I was referred to this clinic, and the experience was a disaster. There was no follow-up, action, or empathy. I scheduled an appointment, but they never contacted me to confirm it, so I had to call them. They did not verify details such as my email or insurance. On the day of the visit, they called to collect payment. I told them I had insurance and sent the information. They said they would call back within 30 minutes, but never did. Before the appointment, I called to ask what I needed to do, and they said they were verifying my insurance. I then received a missed-appointment notice. Yet no one called to confirm whether my insurance had been verified. If they cannot manage an appointment, how can you trust them with one of the most important and private matters in your life? This clinic deserves no positive reviews.

From my consultation to graduation day on December 18, 2025, I felt like more than just a patient. I felt heard and understood, and most importantly, I felt that I was receiving the best care—and I truly was. Everyone at the clinic was so warm and friendly. Whenever I had a question or concern, the team addressed it promptly. Special thanks to Catherine (Cat), Allison (Allie), Jessica (Jess), and Dr. Johnson. I am very grateful that you helped my family grow. I will return when I am ready for my second child and will recommend you to family and friends. I look forward to bringing my baby to meet you next year.

I used RSC as my monitoring clinic throughout a previous surrogacy and had an excellent experience. I am now beginning my second surrogacy journey and plan to use them again over the next few months.

We used RSC in 2023 and successfully conceived our first child. We returned this year hoping for a second, and I am now 10 weeks pregnant. Infertility is frightening because everything is uncertain. What I appreciate most about RSC is that they usually answer my messages the next day or even the same day. They encouraged me when I felt discouraged, and the nurses are wonderful. Dr. Johnson, Ellie, and Valerie are all excellent providers, and I would trust any of them with my care. Choosing a clinic is an important decision, but I promise you will not regret choosing RSC! Thank you for everything you have done for our family!

I am very disappointed to leave this feedback. Although financial reasons have prevented me from consistently continuing infertility treatment, it is unacceptable that simply scheduling a follow-up takes so long and is treated without urgency. I understand that your clinic is small, but having to call all week and submit portal appointment requests without receiving a response is heartbreaking. It causes tremendous anxiety, and I do not want to keep doing this. If I must pay these fees, I expect excellent customer service. I should not have to call repeatedly and complain just to schedule an appointment. As a woman dealing with infertility, the last thing I need is more stress.

I feel fortunate to have used RSC. Their staff are incredible, and I cannot say enough good things about them! They helped me tremendously. Earlier this year, I completed my egg-freezing journey with RSC. Months later, I remain deeply grateful for their attentive care. What impressed me most was everyone’s compassion and cultural awareness. As a woman going through this alone, I never felt rushed, overlooked, or treated like just another patient.

After reading the recent post, I have to ask whether it is truly a review or an opportunity to air a grievance. This person is clearly not a patient and appears to be a former employee who was dismissed. As a professional woman, I find it deeply frustrating to deal with people who lack professionalism. I know members of this team and have worked with them in the past. They exemplify professionalism, and I am proud to call them colleagues. To the person using this platform to share views about what was likely a termination, I encourage you to seek help, because playing the victim is unlikely to succeed today.

If I could, I would give RSC 4.8 stars. My husband and I had a very good experience here. When we began planning for a child, we did not know what to expect, but we learned a great deal about my reproductive system and health. Although we ultimately conceived naturally, I am very grateful to the clinic for performing minor procedures that helped me understand how my body works and what was happening internally. I also appreciate the financial team working with my husband on the bills because our insurance did not cover fertility treatment at all. My only criticism is that it can sometimes be difficult to reach anyone by phone, and appointments are occasionally scheduled without checking your availability. Otherwise, I would recommend RSC to anyone hoping to have a child. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Over the past 9 years, we tried many things without success, including medications, injections, IUI, and other treatments. After all our struggles, we finally placed our trust in Dr. Johnson. Honestly, I highly recommend this clinic. The process itself is painful, but I always felt welcome, valued, and heard! I previously tried another nearby fertility clinic that was dirty and felt completely different. I immediately returned to this clinic. Everyone's medical journey is different, and I sometimes felt impatient, but I am grateful that they always try to do what is best for you, whether you want it or not. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

Because of this clinic, I am able to write this review while holding my son! Our path to parenthood was far from easy, but Dr. Johnson and the team never gave up on us. They guided my husband and me through the most physically and emotionally exhausting process we have ever experienced. Fertility treatment is inherently vulnerable. The RSC team has deep medical knowledge, but they never forget that they are human beings helping others through an exceptionally challenging process, and I am deeply grateful for that. If you are reading this and about to begin your fertility journey, I wish you the best and hope you find success at RSC as we did. I miss seeing their smiling faces!

My wife and I have been at this clinic for over a year as we begin building our family. Dr. Johnson and her colleagues are wonderful and very kind, patiently answering every question we ask. They show tremendous compassion and nurturing care. We chose reciprocal in vitro fertilization (IVF) so my partner and I could both feel involved in the journey. We are extremely happy and enjoy going there to see them. We never considered going anywhere else and would not want to. They are exceptional. Everything about this journey has been amazing, and they cared for us attentively throughout. We truly appreciate the love and hope this review helps others take a chance as we did. ❤️

An excellent team: Dr. Johnson and all her staff, including Cassidy, Ali, Jessica, and many others, are dedicated, caring, and supportive. They truly take time with you and ensure that you receive the best care. Dr. Johnson is wonderful! Regardless of the outcome, I know this team invested tremendous effort in my fertility and genuinely cared about me.

We worked with Dr. Johnson and her clinic for about three years. Through all the highs and lows, we always felt supported by Dr. Johnson, Allie, Val, the front desk staff, lab technicians, nurses (Cassidy, Amy, and Jen), and the financial team (Stephanie).
The process is not easy; you must prepare mentally and physically.
Dr. Johnson's team responded promptly whenever we had questions. We are extremely grateful that they helped us reach our goal. We are expecting our baby in January 2026 and will always be grateful to this outstanding team. We will miss you, and thank you again for making our dream come true.

After 6 years on our TTC journey, I decided to change clinics and try RSC and Dr. Johnson. From day one, my experience was entirely positive. Dr. Johnson, Allie, and the whole team made this unfortunate experience feel very positive, warm, and welcoming. The office’s communication is unmatched. After 4 IUIs and 1 IVF cycle, we finally graduated successfully! Although I was sad to leave the team, I was grateful to leave with our miracle baby! I highly recommend them, regardless of where you are in your journey or the reason for it.

I am very disappointed by this clinic’s lack of response. I tried multiple times to contact someone by phone, message, and online portal, but received no reply. My husband had the same experience.
This is frustrating and discouraging, especially when you are already in a vulnerable and emotional position while seeking fertility support. I expected compassion and communication, but instead I felt let down and exhausted. We will explore other options.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Johnson, all the nurses, and the entire staff. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and efficient. Everyone took the time to listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and provide a thoughtful treatment plan. I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the visit.
