Doctor Introduction

Dr. Paul Lin, United States

Dr. Paul C. Lin brings honesty, optimism, and empathy to every patient interaction. He enjoys both the surgical and clinical aspects of his work, but finds nothing more rewarding than helping patients find fulfillment by growing their families. Dr. Lin is very transparent. He may not always tell you what you want to hear, but you can feel reassured knowing what you are facing and that he will support you through a difficult journey. His attention to detail helps ensure that every aspect of care is addressed.

He currently serves as medical director of Seattle Reproductive Surgery Center at Seattle Reproductive Medicine, where egg retrievals and hysteroscopies are performed. He is currently president of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (sart.org) and a board member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. In these roles, he helps lead national policy and procedure development for reproductive specialists, advocates for patients, and expands access to care. He is also a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Seattle Gynecologic Society, and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.

Dr. Lin's extensive surgical background, together with board certification in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility, has earned recognition from colleagues and patients. He has a special interest in reproductive surgery and extensive experience in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic myomectomy; surgical treatment of endometriosis; and surgical management of uterine conditions such as endometrial polyps, intrauterine adhesions, and uterine septa. He not only performs tubal repair surgery—an increasingly rare skill in the IVF era—but is also the only fertility specialist still performing tubal reversals.

In addition to his surgical focus, he specializes in in vitro fertilization (IVF) for women with fibroids, endometriosis, and uterine abnormalities and has 19 years of experience in reproductive surgery. He is one of the few fertility specialists who also uses robotic platforms for complex procedures. Committed to providing the best surgical care for his patients, he has trained in single-site robotic techniques and laser energy for treating endometriosis.

Before becoming a founding partner of SRM in 2004, Dr. Lin taught at the Center for Fertility and Endocrinology in the University of Washington's Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. During subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, he studied the relationship of fibroids and endometriosis to infertility, the effects of infection on IVF outcomes, the reproductive effects of uterine abnormalities, and optimal uterine evaluation for couples with infertility. He also conducted pioneering research on human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), an important reproductive hormone, and completed board certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

In 2002, Dr. Lin received a video award at the 58th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine for transvaginal ultrasound-guided embryo transfer. He was also recognized as Outstanding Teaching Fellow by the University of Louisville Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, received the Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and was named Outstanding Resident Surgeon by the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons. He was also named a Seattle Top Doctor in 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Dr. Lin grew up in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from Columbia University in New York City, he earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College, completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Tufts University Baystate Medical Center, and completed an REI fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

When not helping patients become parents, he spends time with his two children, Michael and Emily, and enjoys skiing, boating, cycling, and attending Seahawks football games—although his heart will always belong to the Buffalo Bills.

Building 3055 is extremely difficult to find. The arrow points toward a one-way street, and there is not even signage upstairs. The upstairs area needs better, clearer signs. I would have rated it 5, but the confusing directions and lack of location information reduce it to 3.

SRM is like a trap: once you enter, you never get out. The organization makes sure you keep paying. We have been with this clinic since November 2024 and still have no pregnancy; it has been a waste of time. They ensure you do not become pregnant, and Dr. Amy Criniti is the least experienced doctor. She did not order bloodwork to identify possible problems in my TTC journey. They do not understand IUI; they performed mine without confirming ovulation. Their test results are very inaccurate. They never recommended supplements. When I learned about them elsewhere and asked the clinic, they said I could take them and tried to sell their commission-based brand, Theralogix. I also posted photos as evidence of their lack of knowledge. After my IUI, they already seemed prepared for another and immediately described what they would do next, as though they knew their method had caused this one to fail. How did they know it would fail unless that was part of their plan?

Dr. Criniti did not listen to the health concerns I had before my evaluation, and the tests I paid for were extremely basic and did not even include comprehensive bloodwork relevant to my condition. My regular doctor laughed at Seattle Reproductive Medicine's chart report. Most importantly, I underwent an extremely painful and traumatic HSG. Your assigned doctor does not perform it; a random lab worker who did not know my history did it. Dr. Criniti set the procedure up for failure by failing to recognize that HSG was unsuitable for me because of prior pelvic trauma. I urge everyone to avoid this place; they only care about charging for tests. I regret every dollar and every minute I gave them. I will never forget how bloody their lab became during my HSG. My blood splattered across the room and ultrasound machine, and fluid-soaked gauze dripped from the container. The room was a mess afterward, and my cervix hurt for three weeks. I had to seek help from Planned Parenthood afterward.

My experience is limited, but I am satisfied with the level of care provided.

I am an IVF patient at SRM. Although my treatment is not complete, I must praise my care-team nurse, Nikki Rey. She is extremely patient and professional! Because of my schedule, I worked with Nikki for about a year. IVF is stressful, and my mood was often as gloomy as Washington weather. Yet every text or call from Nikki brightened it like sunshine. Her gentle reminders, professional advice, and information made me feel that I had a true friend at SRM, not merely a clinician-patient relationship. Whenever I had concerns, Nikki communicated with my doctor, arranged tests when necessary, and explained medical information in a way I could understand, easing my worries. I never fully understood the phrase “nurses are angels,” because comparing a job to an angel seemed unreasonable. After meeting Nikki at SRM, I finally understand it. Thank you, Nikki. I am so happy and fortunate to know you. You know you are the best :)

My husband and I are extremely grateful to the entire team at SRM Bellevue, our primary clinic, and SRM Seattle, where special procedures were performed. We have worked with them since 2024 and recently achieved a wonderful outcome. After a disappointing experience at another fertility clinic on the Eastside, we initially felt uncertain and lacked confidence. However, Dr. Criniti's calm and confident manner put us at ease and helped us fully trust the process. Dr. Amy Criniti was compassionate, clearly explained the next steps, and thoroughly reviewed our treatment options, providing much-needed comfort during a difficult time. Her care coordination team—first Leigh and later Heidi—was outstanding. They were punctual and attentive and always ensured we had everything we needed. The ultrasound technicians, phlebotomy nurses, and front-desk staff were all kind and professional, making every visit to the Bellevue clinic a genuinely positive experience. Communication through the patient portal and text messages was clear, prompt, and well documented. Thanks to their excellent care and support, our first treatment cycle was successful. We are so glad we chose SRM, Dr. Criniti, and her excellent team to handle our case. Thank you for the comfort and support you have given us throughout. Forever grateful!

Do not go to SRM! It is an assembly line that does not tailor treatment to each patient's circumstances. They only care about making money! Doctors are barely involved in treatment. You see a doctor only at the initial consultation and egg retrieval. Please read the reviews and sort them chronologically, with the newest first. You will see that most recent reviews are below three stars. The better reviews are from long ago! More than a week after my blood test results were available, the doctor had not called or messaged me. I could not interpret the results myself. After more than a week, a nurse asked whether I wanted IVF or a transfer for my next cycle! How could I decide when I did not understand the blood test results? Shouldn't the doctor contact me and develop a treatment plan based on my circumstances?

Dr. Amanda Herrmann is an excellent doctor, and I highly recommend her! She was extremely responsible and meticulous during my egg retrieval, making every medication adjustment with precision. She continually gave me confidence and reassurance, which meant so much during such an emotional IVF journey! Her technique is excellent, and the embryo transfer she performed felt smooth from start to finish. Throughout the process, I felt fully supported, carefully looked after, and completely reassured! Dr. Herrmann, thank you for your dedication, expertise, and attentive care! Highly recommended!

You would have to quit your job to manage this clinic. Communication is terrible. We have been trying to start IVF since last December and have not even begun. Portal messages go unanswered for weeks, calls are even harder, and they talk in circles about basic questions such as test results, leaving you to find answers yourself. I am considering starting over elsewhere or continuing here, but it is painful. After blood work, you must follow up yourself to learn the next step. You have to manage every stage. They take no ownership of the process, and their internal teams seem worlds apart. When you ask a question, they say, “Oh, I need to ask your—” and then never reply.

They only care about numbers. Most fertility clinics are like this—I have worked with several—but this one lacks the motivation and staff to advocate for you. The doctors in particular are cold and do not care about you or your dreams, despite their marketing. It is like working with Amazon to make your dream come true. There may be no good alternatives, but before choosing SRM or a competitor, you should at least know that the doctors truly do not care about you.

The clinic is beautiful, and some staff are kind. I appreciated the LGBTQ+-friendly environment. However, some staff only give generic explanations that show they do not understand how you track ovulation. When I tried to explain that a medication did not work for me, they simply said, “It works.” By the end, we did not feel treated as individuals; instead, we were told what our own experience was.

I cannot take it anymore and am moving to a new clinic. For months I have tried to work with SRM to freeze embryos, but they: 1. Forgot to schedule my husband's genetic testing. 2. Forgot to schedule his infectious disease testing. 3. Assigned me a nurse who only texted from an unfamiliar number and never followed up by phone. 4. Made my husband wait an hour for testing; when he asked, it was suddenly ready, meaning they had forgotten to check him in. 5. Scheduled the wrong doctor, canceled one hour beforehand, and gave no explanation beyond saying she was “not that kind of doctor.” They did not tell me whom or what type of doctor to reschedule with. I have never encountered a clinic so disorganized and disrespectful to patients. I cannot trust these people with care this important.

I am not a patient at this clinic, but my friend is. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and her oncologist referred her here for fertility treatment. Time was obviously urgent and every day mattered. Choosing between starting lifesaving chemotherapy now and delaying it for the possibility of future fertility was extremely difficult. None of these procedures guarantees success, but this was her last chance to preserve embryos or eggs before chemotherapy permanently damaged them. This was already an enormously stressful situation, and the choices were not easy. A doctor she trusted referred her to this clinic, so she believed she had found reliable clinicians and was willing to try despite the potential cancer risks. Dr. Lin was her physician at the fertility clinic, and I cannot believe the incompetence and unprofessionalism of the entire staff. She waited days for emails or calls answering basic questions about her procedure. Dr. Lin left the clinic without warning, and no one could say when she would return to sign medical documents. Unfortunately, this continued for weeks until my friend had to make the hardest decision of her life: abandon fertility preservation entirely and begin chemotherapy. Even as a friend and observer, this was heartbreaking to witness. I hope anyone in a similar situation does not waste time and avoids this clinic entirely.
    May 10, 2025
They do not allow children in the waiting room! We needed to sign documents, and they told us we could not do so in the waiting room and had to go into the hallway because our child was with us. Signing took only 5 minutes. My child was calm the entire time—not screaming, shouting, or disruptive. It is extremely rude and hypocritical for a fertility clinic to exclude people with children.

Although I would have preferred better communication during my care, especially as an out-of-state patient, my overall experience was very positive, particularly the egg retrieval. Dr. Cho, Dr. Wang, and my nurse were all very kind and precise at every step, making me feel safe and comfortable. Thank you, ladies!

SRM/Pinnacle/whoever they are simply do not understand how to support queer couples. We are doing rIVF, and while their attitude was acceptable, they repeatedly scheduled my wife for things she did not need and canceled them the same day—three times. They billed the wrong person and charged us twice because we are both ‘mothers.’ The day before our donor sperm was due to arrive from the sperm bank, they called us at 4:30 to say there was a problem and the shipment needed to be canceled. When we called back, no one answered because they had closed. We could not cancel because it was the day before; they had to do it, but we could do nothing because all the sperm banks were closed. It was a very stressful night. It turned out the donor carried a gene they had not tested for and would not test for, so we were required to undergo genetic counseling. They had no appointments for a week, delaying fertilization by a month. Paying $20,000 for this experience is absurd. To be clear, this is a management and operations problem, not a staff problem.

Very poor customer service. They will not disclose any details about the process, such as what is required, the timeline, or finances. We had worked with them for about 18 months when I requested a cost estimate. Our financial counselor told me, “Because each patient’s treatment plan is different, I cannot provide a timeline or complete cost breakdown.” Yes, I understand treatment plans differ, which is why I wanted an estimate based on our case. After 18 months, dozens of visits, and multiple consultations with the doctor, I would expect them to understand our treatment process. Ultimately, I suppose I have to determine it and estimate the cost myself. This is extremely frustrating. If we had another option, we would prefer another provider. I strongly recommend avoiding them if possible.

I have to say, the number of negative reviews is baffling. This clinic is amazing, attentive, and overall a safe place. Everything went smoothly, and my health and success were always the priority. We are now 12 weeks pregnant with our baby girl after our first FET! Melanie Love supported me throughout and was one of the best parts of this journey. We are not local, but even from several hours away, they always made everything work for us!

My wife recently underwent egg retrieval during our IVF process, and I was very disappointed with how the medical staff handled it—especially how completely I was excluded. No one communicated with me before the procedure. I had no idea how it was progressing, how long it would take, or how she was doing. She was understandably nervous, and I was not even allowed to be with her beforehand to support her. Afterward, I could only wait without any information. She came out disoriented and uncomfortable, yet I still was not brought in to be with her or told how the procedure had gone. There was no acknowledgment that we were going through this together as a couple. I am disappointed by this “medical team’s” professionalism and bedside manner.

There are some positives. The nurses at the Bellevue location are excellent, and the operating room staff are great. But that is where the positives end. Dr. Herlihy attended the initial consultation, and that was the extent of her involvement. She never contacted me afterward. I heard nothing from her throughout the process. Incidentally, she was not the doctor who performed my egg retrieval. What upset me most was being assigned to a navigator who had been out of work for months, which I only learned after the procedure. Scheduling told me the Spokane navigators would handle things collectively rather than through one person. I find this completely unacceptable. Why advertise a personal navigator if patients are assigned to someone who has been out for months? Why have a primary navigator if she will be absent throughout my treatment? The portal is also difficult to navigate, with forms and documents scattered in different places.

Completely unprofessional. They left me in a gown on the exam table for 50 minutes with an uncomfortably full bladder. They apologized, but it was unacceptable. I could have forgiven that and earlier communication problems, but they mishandled a cycle that should have been fully covered by insurance. I notified them three weeks in advance that I wanted to try again, yet they failed to obtain authorization in time. I was willing to self-pay if insurance did not cover it. We scheduled testing, and the prescription was supposed to arrive on the last day before I began medication. It never reached the pharmacy. I have now given up, and we must find another provider. This is difficult enough without their lack of communication and effort making it worse.

Worst infertility clinic I have ever seen in my life. once they got your money you would not be able to see the doctor face in your treatment journey. No one cares about your IVF Journey. Lack of communication is a must in this clinic, it may take weeks to get a reply from a clinician. No follow up for failed IVFs, no reasons why it failed , no suggestion, just pay your money and do multiple rounds of failed IVF. I will never ever recommend this place to any of my friend or family members. Waste of money!!!

Dr. Lin and his team are the best. This is my second fertility clinic, and their professionalism, efficiency, and expertise place them among the leaders in the field. After a terrible experience at Michigan IVF/Pinnacle, I am extremely grateful to every staff member, nurse, and doctor at SRM/Pinnacle in Seattle. The clinic is clean and beautiful, has parking, and is open on weekends. They call, leave messages, or text with updates about IVF treatment. I especially appreciate that they never leave you confused: they explain each step and what to expect. Patient navigators also check in regularly and truly care about your health.

Very bad place never go here. I have been seeing this facility since 2022 with getting nowhere just wasting my time doing test and procedures. Our last conversation was doing IVF with donor eggs. I agree with that but they charged me $17,000 and they wanted it all upfront before starting services like they don’t didn’t even offer a payment plan or anything and they called me during my work hours and often held long lengthy conversations regarding care I’ve asked them to repeatedly send me message through the portal yet they called which is why I have stopped coming here as of April 2025 All this place once is money I feel like not Wanting to help the patient.

I wanted to write this review because I am now 21 weeks pregnant with a miracle IVF baby girl, thanks to the care team and excellent medical staff at Pinnacle Seattle! My experience here was wonderful. I loved their detailed, personalized care and truly miss it now that I have transferred to a regular OB-GYN. My nurse Lindsi and Dr. Wald were exceptional. A transfer was once canceled because my uterine lining was too thin, and Dr. Wald developed the best plan for me. Without her willingness to try a new approach and study my case closely, I might not have conceived. I am so grateful to this team for giving me my miracle!

I wish I could rate this clinic even more highly. Believe it or not, the entire visit, including the procedure itself, was very pleasant. When I arrived, I told my nurse, Hannah, that I was nervous. She reassured me patiently, and her cheerful personality helped me relax. The second nurse was also wonderful and successfully started my IV despite my small veins. The doctor and anesthesiologist explained what would happen before and after the procedure, giving me a clearer understanding of the process. To my surprise, I woke up quickly with almost no grogginess. I even asked the staff how I had gotten from the operating room to the other side of the room, haha. I am extremely grateful to the medical staff at this clinic. They are the most professional, kind, and thoughtful team I have encountered. I would recommend this clinic to anyone undergoing IVF and egg retrieval.

I had my egg retrieval at this clinic, and the experience was so wonderful that words can hardly describe it. From the moment my name was called in the waiting room, Evie made me feel at ease. She brought me in, explained everything thoroughly, and was candid throughout. Her kindness, warmth, and clear communication made me feel comfortable from start to finish, especially when I was very nervous. All the staff were wonderful. Dr. Davis, who performed my procedure, came in beforehand and explained every step in detail, made sure I understood the process, and asked if I had any questions. Soon afterward, the anesthesiologist came in—I do not remember his name—and explained his role and how he would administer anesthesia in the operating room. I mentioned that I have claustrophobia, and he immediately reassured me and even offered to let me hold the oxygen mask myself, which helped greatly. When I entered the operating room, the man by the rear window on the left introduced himself as a laboratory staff member, scanned my wristband, and explained his role. Everyone in the room worked seamlessly together. They secured me with straps, and one man jokingly compared it to a ride at Disneyland, creating a light atmosphere while remaining professional and focused. After the procedure, I woke up quickly, and Evie immediately brought me juice and a snack. Dr. Davis then came in to tell me how many eggs had been retrieved and explained that retrieval day was day 0 and I would receive more results on day 6. The next day, Evie even texted to check on me and make sure I felt well. That meant a great deal and showed their genuine concern for patients. This team is kind, supportive, professional, and caring. I felt well cared for throughout the process. A fun detail: the restroom across from the office was warm and comfortable—they really had the heat turned up! 😊

I had been a long-term patient here and completed one IVF cycle. Just as I was preparing for a second cycle, a serious administrative error caused me to miss it entirely. Although my fertility insurer repeatedly confirmed that SRM could bill them, SRM staff refused to process it. I say “refused” because that is exactly what happened. They insisted that I act as the intermediary between the clinic and insurer, even though no action was required from me. During that time, I could not order medication or complete the necessary testing, and my cycle was wasted. Worse, no one followed up. There was no call, explanation, or apology. There was no clear contact, escalation process, or accountability. When something went wrong, there was only silence. When I mentioned moving to another clinic, they practically pushed me out the door. This experience showed me that if something goes wrong here, you are on your own. You are treated as a number rather than a patient. If you choose this clinic, be prepared to advocate actively for yourself, even regarding billing and insurance. No infertility patient should have to endure this additional stress.

I simply want to say that SRM was excellent throughout my treatment. The doctors were patient and kind, and my dedicated nurse was wonderful, with excellent communication and support. Every step was well organized, and I felt well cared for throughout. Their Seattle office was also warm and comfortable, and I rarely had to wait—I could usually go right in. Overall, I highly recommend them.

Be very cautious during IVF treatment! If you have uterine fibroids, do not go to this clinic, formerly SRM. They could not even locate my ovaries and failed to read my IVF doctor's orders carefully, focusing on measuring fibroids instead of follicles. Pinnacle Fertility, formerly SRM, completely disregarded my IVF doctor's monitoring instructions. They did not perform the required follicle count or endometrial measurement. Instead, they measured fibroids that were irrelevant to my case and sent an incomplete report to the wrong clinic. I had to repeat the ultrasound elsewhere the next day. The technician was inattentive, trained another staff member without prior consent, and clearly had not read the orders carefully. They do not take their responsibilities seriously, follow physician instructions, or provide the level of care IVF patients deserve. I strongly advise anyone undergoing fertility treatment to avoid this clinic. Also, do not trust La Thanya's apology. I had a terrible experience at this clinic on September 16, 2025.
    Mar 15, 2026
We had a baby with SRM's help! Complications on the father's side made it difficult to find an IVF provider able to help us. Dr. Walsh worked wonders and retrieved enough sperm for an ICSI attempt. Although communication can sometimes stall among the multiple teams caring for one couple, the outcome speaks for itself. We have a happy, healthy baby at home who would not have been possible without SRM.
    Mar 13, 2026
I completed many IVF cycles here. Do not come here! Everything is disorganized and chaotic. Believe the hundreds of other negative reviews; I wish I had. My friend also completed cycles here, and they 'accidentally' discarded completely normal embryos. The doctors are rude, focused only on money, and eager to end appointments quickly. This clinic is extremely irresponsible, while IVF is already physically and emotionally exhausting and requires trust. Run as fast as you can. If you try to transfer your care, you may wait months for a response. Leave now!
    Mar 12, 2026
I am utterly disgusted with this place. This company cares neither about its patients nor its employees. The doctors care only about themselves, and the executives making clinical decisions have no concern for how those decisions affect nurses and support staff. This place is a joke.
    Mar 11, 2026
My experience at SRM was the worst healthcare experience I have ever had. The organization and clinicians we encountered appeared concerned only with how much money they could make from us, not our health or fertility journey. We never met with a doctor unless testing or a treatment was being performed, often without any advance information. When we finally saw a doctor for important personal testing, she did not know who I was or recognize that she had previously met me on Zoom. When we chose a specific fertility treatment, they provided no information or guidance about what the process would involve or how to complete steps such as stimulation injections. They promised a dedicated contact person, but that was meaningless. I contacted them with time-sensitive questions but repeatedly received no timely response, preventing previously scheduled fertility treatment from proceeding; other responses were blank templates. Even after transferring to a new clinic, getting records faxed to the new doctor has been nearly impossible. Although we signed multiple releases of information and completed every step SRM required for faxing records, they have not followed through. Our experience became so poor that I was offered 'free' stimulation medication and given what I was told was the private phone number of a vice president or executive. After I reached him and he persuaded us to continue treatment, I never heard from him again. No staff member or doctor took time to build trust or treat us like people undergoing an intensely sensitive process. We felt like numbers in a crowd. I accept that we could have researched more and been less naive before beginning fertility treatment, but I wish I had seen a review like this before trusting SRM. They set our family-building journey back by years.

Nurse Brooke was very patient and compassionate during my egg retrieval. She made me feel safe and reassured throughout. Dr. Shah is my favorite doctor and is very professional. Dr. Morgan also brings you to a safe, comfortable place because his anesthesia skills are excellent. The entire team is wonderful, and I want to thank them.

I had two positive conception experiences at SRM. They gave me attentive care and guidance. There were admittedly some minor issues, but they always resolved them quickly and appropriately with the best outcome. Our third attempt, however, has been completely different. It has been disorganized and chaotic. At almost every step, I have had to work hard to ensure that every document, process, and laboratory order was submitted and completed on time so the cycle would not be canceled. Even then, I had to cancel one cycle. I changed counselors, hoping this would ease some problems, and things improved slightly; the new counselor had previously been a financial advisor. Financially, their account-management practices seem unethical to me. I submitted my insurance information at the beginning and had difficulty getting the cycle started, but after September I heard nothing more from them, and a $115 balance appeared on my account. My insurance changed in early November, but because I received no financial communications, I forgot to notify them. In March, I had a doctor's appointment. They checked my insurance, found that my old policy had expired, and asked for my current insurance information, which I provided. My secondary insurance is ChampVA, but I was immediately told it was out of network. ChampVA does not have a participating network, however, and I had previously confirmed that services would be covered at any practice once claims were submitted. Now, almost three weeks into my cycle, they have told me that because I am self-paying, I must pay $350 per month beginning with my current cycle. They submitted no claims to insurance for the prior five or six months, yet now say I owe $350 monthly because I am self-paying. This seems highly unethical. SRM is expanding its physical locations. Based on the current situation and my experience, I can only infer that it is prioritizing quantity over quality. My guess—and this is entirely my speculation—is that its business has grown beyond its capacity. Instead of limiting patient volume and delivering high-quality service, it continues expanding at patients' expense. Over the years, I built a good relationship with Dr. Mazur and had two successful pregnancies. Sadly, however, we are seriously considering ending our relationship with SRM and pursuing other options. I hope SRM takes this review seriously and that it meaningfully influences its future direction. I would rather pay more for high-quality service than save a few dollars and become just another name on a list.

We completed two embryo-freezing cycles at Pinnacle, formerly Seattle Reproductive Medicine. We received exceptional care and attention during each cycle. The doctors and nurses genuinely care about their patients. I always felt I was receiving the best possible care—honestly, I felt like a princess on egg retrieval day! We are now in the long-term embryo storage phase. When I asked specific questions, the customer service team showed great compassion and professionalism. We strongly recommend Pinnacle to others planning to build a family.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I think it’s important to share my experience because fertility treatment is already emotionally and financially difficult, and choosing the right clinic matters. I started treatment with SRP at the beginning of 2024 with a plan to proceed with IUI. We shipped our frozen sperm to the clinic, which took months to coordinate and came with significant costs for receipt and review. We completed all required testing, consultations, medications, and preparation for the procedure. Less than 24 hours before my scheduled IUI, I was informed that our sperm specimen could not be used for IUI and my appointment was canceled. This was incredibly upsetting, especially because it appeared that the paperwork accompanying the specimen had not been thoroughly reviewed before I was medically prepared and medicated for the procedure. What made the situation worse was the response afterward. Our doctor did not contact us until approximately 5:30 PM the following day and was not apologetic. During that conversation, he stated that he believed we would “get over it,” which felt dismissive of the emotional, physical, and financial impact of what had happened. Unfortunately, this was not our only negative interaction with SRP staff. There were several appointments where I left feeling unsettled by the communication and overall experience. Ultimately, we decided to transfer our care to another clinic. Even after insurance, we spent just under $5,000 at SRP and, to this day, continue to receive unexpected bills related to services from July 2025. Every patient’s experience is different, but based on our experience, I would encourage others to ask detailed questions about communication processes, specimen review procedures, and billing practices before committing to treatment here.
