Kate O'Leary, MD, completed extensive training and is dual board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rhodes College in Memphis and earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After discovering her passion for women’s health in medical school, Dr. O'Leary completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) at Lackland Air Force Base, where she received numerous awards.

To become a fertility specialist, Kate O'Leary completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford University. She also completed a fellowship in health research and policy, earning an MS in Health Services Research from Stanford University.

Before joining Midwest Fertility Specialists, Kate O'Leary, MD, practiced as a fertility physician in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before that role, she was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force.
She chaired the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the 88th Surgical Operations Squadron at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. While at Wright-Patterson, she also served as medical director of the Women’s Health Clinic and as the Air Force Surgeon General’s REI consultant.

Kate O'Leary, MD, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI).
As a Carmel fertility physician, she diagnoses and treats causes of male and female infertility, with particular interests in recurrent pregnancy loss and fertility preservation.
