I cannot recommend Kindbody enough. I am seeing Dr. Alvarez, who is brilliant. After three fertility doctors—one at Advanced Fertility who missed two of our appointments and two at FCI with serious ethical issues—coming here felt like landing on a cloud instead of navigating hell just to get anything done. The staff is friendly and helpful. Billing is clear and simple. I love how quickly they reply to messages instead of leaving me wondering whether anyone received my message, calling only to get a busy signal, and eventually giving up. Dr. Alvarez treats me like a person and listens to my concerns. If Dr. Alvarez suspects a problem, he examines me instead of pointing at me and diagnosing me with a serious health condition, as happened at FCI. Dr. Alvarez also remembers who I am. Overall, I feel cared for and respected here. That is the minimum standard for patient care, but with some fertility clinics, the bar seems to be underground. 12/10, very grateful I found this place.

Kindbody gave my husband and me the most attentive care. They never gave up on us and always offered the absolute best path, even when it was the hardest one.

I started at this location in October 2022, when it was still Vios. I completed five cycles and one transfer, and my child was born in March 2024. We recently decided to return to try for a second child, and this has been the worst experience I have had with any company. First, I asked about retesting two embryos with low DNA content. When the time came, I was told the Kindbody portion would be covered 100% and I would only have to pay Progenesis. Now they want to charge me nearly $1,300 to test them. Then I received a list of tests and procedures to complete before starting. I did everything and submitted it to Kindbody. A few days before I was supposed to start, I received a message saying I needed more tests or could not proceed with the cycle. I had to beg my doctor to fit me in because the wait is usually several months. Even after I scheduled the appointment, three different people messaged me saying I needed to schedule it. On Wednesday, WIN Fertility called and said everything was covered 100%, including all my medications. So explain why I received a message and a document to sign on Friday saying I had to pay $900 or could not start. I had my baseline on Thursday, and my first monitoring appointment was Monday, and now you add fees at the last minute? I knew about part of it, but you want to charge a $500 cycle-monitoring fee and claim WIN does not cover it? WIN covers all medically necessary aspects of IVF. I am fairly certain they are either trying to bill me twice for something WIN already paid or never submitted it. I am tempted to cancel and find a better clinic. It has gone downhill since Kindbody took over.

Visit the Kindbody Reddit and see what a nightmare Kindbody is. Disorganized, ineffective, and dangerous. Dr. Louden may be one of the most incompetent doctors I have encountered. Stay away. They are in the business of making money, not providing care.

I first went to FCI two years ago and do not recommend it. At the first meeting, I was told I had little chance and should consider donor eggs. My experience with Dr. Jeelani, Isela, and the Wicker Park team has been dramatically better. I now have three embryos. Compared with standardized treatment, you receive a personalized approach, and I am always in and out of cycle visits within 15–20 minutes. Dr. Jeelani is available by text or phone and is supportive.

I have had billing issues since April 2022. Working with this company has been a painful experience. They lack transparency and communication, among many other shortcomings.

I have been battling a billing dispute with Kindbody since 2022. They charged me with showing up to the West Loop location to have my eggs retrieved on 10/27/22 and a charge of $500. I NEVER WENT THROUGH WITH THE PROCEDURE. I never went to the West Loop location! I decided NOT to go through with the medical procedures after I received my ultra sound at the Wicker Park location! Fast forward to March of 2025 and the patient billing center STILL has my dispute “under review”! This is insane and I’m following up with the Better Business Bureau.

Words cannot express what this clinic means to my family. Our family of four began its infertility journey in 2020. Our son and daughter made every tear, injection, and prayer worthwhile. We traveled from Florida to Chicago for IVF specifically because of Dr. Jilani. She is absolutely one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate reproductive medicine specialists in the field! She is a treasure, and we will always be grateful to her.

This clinic's billing practices are terrible. I once provided a semen sample in a cup, and two and a half years later they sent me a $300 bill. Dr. Alvarez also seemed bored while listening to our fertility history, and we eventually switched clinics. Thankfully, we now have a beautiful baby boy because of that other clinic. I do not feel this clinic helped us much on our fertility journey.

Words can never express my gratitude to Dr. Jilani and her team. Dr. Jilani cared deeply for us throughout the process and provided excellent treatment recommendations. During my pregnancy, she was always available to answer questions. She will always be a very special person to me. She is passionate about her work and is the outstanding fertility doctor everyone hopes to find. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her! Thank you to Dr. Jilani and her team for their hard work and genuine care for patients!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Gilani and the entire team at Kindbody Wicker Park. From the moment I began my fertility journey, every nurse, ultrasound technician, and staff member made me feel cared for, supported, and truly understood. You spend a great deal of time at the clinic during this process, so having such a kind, compassionate, and professional team is essential. Dr. Gilani is truly a miracle worker. Her expertise, empathy, and dedication gave me tremendous hope and confidence throughout the process. The countless appointments, early mornings, and emotional ups and downs were much easier because of this incredible team. Thanks to them, I now have my first child, something I had always dreamed of. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Gilani and everyone at Kindbody Wicker Park for helping make this miracle possible.

I have used this clinic for fertility testing and planning for one month and highly recommend it. I had two virtual visits and three in-person diagnostic appointments, and every staff member was wonderful. From nurses and coordinators to ultrasound and lab staff and my doctor, everyone was respectful, kind, thoughtful, and understanding. Costs were clear from the first consultation, and I received financial updates whenever I had questions. The team responded promptly through the portal, usually within hours and always within 24 hours, even on weekends. The portal was very useful for tracking information. I was initially hesitant and overwhelmed, but now feel informed and confident about my fertility journey. Thank you, Kindbody ❤️

If you have any other option, you should try that instead. It’s a lot of managing your own care and following up on things that are missed/not taken care of as promised. I’ve had issues verifying benefits, the nurse submitting orders with someone else’s demographics (several times), doctor not calling when she said she would, an employee that was not involved in the procedure walking in unannounced while I was getting a vaginal ultrasound, ineffective procedures, unprofessional staff, and honestly so much more.

I deeply regret choosing this company for my fertility journey. I underwent several egg retrievals but received poor service and continual administrative confusion instead of support. Three years later, I still receive unexplained bills attributed to “system updates,” further demonstrating unreliable recordkeeping. Despite paying high storage fees, I now doubt the accuracy of their database. No one should worry whether their eggs and other critical information are being properly safeguarded and tracked. If you are considering this clinic, I strongly advise researching alternatives carefully before deciding.

Five years have passed since my initial experience, and Vios/Kindbody has consistently achieved its goals throughout. Other reviewers are right about communication issues, but persistent follow-up can overcome them. Everything moves quickly, so omissions and miscommunication occur. Overall, however, this clinic is professional and efficient. Perform your own quality checks, review everything carefully, ask about anything unclear, and follow up when replies are delayed. Advocate for yourself. My original review follows. I occasionally leave a one-star review intentionally to see how feedback is handled. Their response was excellent: they acknowledged the issue, contacted the vendor to confirm it, and submitted a feature request. Original review: This should really be five stars. I will change it later, but for now I want to draw attention to an issue. There is a fundamental problem if both parents cannot log in separately to embryo-storage provider Emberient Options. According to Emberient Options, only one parent can currently register for its portal. This technical limitation is unacceptable. I hope the relevant organization will ask Emberient Options to update its system so both parents can have portal access.

Dr. Gilani is a miracle worker, and my nurse Maggie was wonderful. I could never repay them for giving me the most precious gift in the world. Every sonographer, phlebotomist, receptionist, nurse, and other staff member I met was excellent. Everyone was so kind and gentle. I am incredibly grateful. 🩷
    Jan 29, 2026
Please avoid this clinic. They seem good initially, but once treatment starts, dealing with them becomes unbearably difficult. It was a nightmare, and only after changing clinics did I fully understand how bad they were. You do not have to take my word for it, but please consult other clinics first.
    Mar 18, 2026
Because of a poorly considered policy, patients cannot schedule an appointment directly even if they have no insurance and are willing to self-pay.
    Mar 11, 2026
The receptionist was welcoming, but everything else about the experience was awful. I came here for genetic testing and a semen analysis. Apart from the receptionist, all the staff looked miserable. Not angry, just very sad. There was not a smile in sight. The exam room was also dim and depressing. The atmosphere was terrible. And although I asked before leaving whether there would be any other charges, they still sent me a bill several weeks after the appointment. It made me very uncomfortable. I hope this clinic succeeds. The services they provide are important and the prices are relatively reasonable, but...please, could they hire people who do not look like they want to die?

Do not go to Dr. Alvarez at Kindbody. It was the worst decision I have ever made. If you were previously a patient of Dr. Jeelani, go to her new clinic. She is an excellent doctor. Going to him is a major step backward. His medication protocol will not promote egg development, and you may even ovulate during stimulation. He is absolutely not suited to fertility medicine and should do something else. I am not saying this because I was unsuccessful with him. I stayed at Kindbody because everything of mine was there. I have worked with both doctors, and their approaches to treatment are incomparable.

The customer service staff were excellent, scheduling was smooth, and they were very attentive on the day of my appointment. Their explanations were very clear and reassuring.

    Not recommended.
    Apr 2, 2026
After my longtime doctor left the clinic, they completely neglected my care. I experienced a bereavement that required intensive treatment, but afterward I received no proper follow-up from any other provider and am now dealing with a rare treatment side effect. They would not assign me a provider, saying I first had to establish care—and the earliest appointment was three months away. My choices were either a male doctor or a doctor I could never see because she works out of state. After about six to eight weeks, I finally had a telehealth visit with a nurse who could not answer a single question and simply read my chart aloud during the appointment. For such a serious condition, I cannot recommend a clinic that cannot provide even basic follow-up care. I wish I could give KB Clinic zero stars. Stay away!

I completed my egg-freezing journey at Kindbody, and their care team was excellent. The nurses handled everything very well, including ordering medication, coordinating with my insurance company through the mail-order pharmacy, calling to explain medication instructions, and scheduling appointments. The front desk, phlebotomists, and ultrasound technicians were all very friendly and made the process pleasant. The on-call nurses were also extremely helpful and always available to answer questions. The billing team responded a little slowly, but other reviews are right: you need to follow up proactively. If you do not receive a response, follow up again. You must monitor your own treatment closely. During both egg-freezing cycles, they told me the number of eggs frozen that same day, which also impressed me. Overall, I am very glad I chose Kindbody!

If you choose them, which I do not recommend now that Dr. Belsos has left, watch your bills very closely!!! They made countless mistakes and are still pursuing me for payment for services from 2024. My baby has been born and I am happy, but dealing with some of their nurses and financial staff was exhausting and frustrating!
    May 7, 2026
I was very happy with the phlebotomists, ultrasound technicians, my nurse Madison, and Dr. Jilani. Unfortunately, the terrible and confusing billing completely overshadowed the excellent medical care I received. My first treatment was a year ago, and I have now received an enormous bill for $6,700. I obtained every prior authorization required by my insurance, yet they continue demanding payment. I have called three times and sent three portal messages. I asked them to escalate my case. Instead of responding, the billing department ignored me and continues harassing me with automated texts and emails. The frustration and stress this has caused are difficult to describe. If you are considering IVF, I strongly recommend choosing another clinic.

Dr. Louden at Kindbody is wonderful. Many thanks to all the staff at the Wicker Park and West Loop offices. Because of the care at these offices, we were fortunate to have a healthy, happy baby girl.

After years of infertility and so many doctors not listening to me, Dr. Jeelani made it happen! We love you and the KindBody team!
    Jan 18, 2025
We are so glad we had the opportunity to work with Dr. Beltsos and the team. Because of my medical history, many doctors told us to consider surgery or adoption. Kindbody helped us safely conceive our miracle baby boy. We cannot express our gratitude. Thank you!!

We are still waiting for our baby, but Dr. Alvarez and all the Kindbody staff and nurses have been wonderful! My care has been excellent and timely.

I completed my first egg retrieval yesterday, so this review reflects my experience at this location. Overall, Kindbody is a very busy organization that gives families an opportunity to build their families. The process was smooth for me, but I would note the following: 1) Communication is poor. Your file passes among different RNs, coordinators, and others who do not know your treatment plan, so you must repeatedly explain your medications and treatment. They also close messages within 5 minutes of sending them, so if you have a question or concern, you must send another message elsewhere. The on-call line is slow and inconsistent. Several times I was told to take medication I did not have, showing inconsistent communication about my plan. I had to rush around obtaining medication and spend extra money. 2) Before starting, I met my assigned doctor virtually only a few times and then once in person before retrieval. I chose her because of positive reviews and hoped for more interaction, but that did not happen. She explained the process well when we spoke, but afterward I was always communicating with other members of the “care team,” and I was unsure whether they knew me. I have heard that patients of other doctors there receive more personalized care or retrieve more eggs per cycle. Because this process is costly, it is important to make the most of it. 3) Once treatment began, laboratory and ultrasound appointments were easy to schedule, and everything was visible in the portal. I usually booked everything before leaving, which is important because slots fill quickly. If you live closer to another Kindbody location, you may be able to complete testing there, though I believe procedures occur only at certain locations. 4) The retrieval itself felt extremely rushed. Before and after the procedure, I did not feel well and felt like a cow being pushed along a conveyor belt until I left. There was little communication about how the procedure went or my future care plan, so I left after being sent to the waiting room. This was probably the most disappointing part, along with the limited communication among everyone involved in my plan. 5) Overall, I would consider returning, but if I find somewhere that makes me feel more like a person than a number, I may choose it instead. I hope for a successful outcome from this location because this is an extremely expensive and time-consuming process.

I have never posted a negative review before, but because Kindbody has owed me just under $1,000 for more than a year, according to their own calculations, and has still not sent the check they have promised for more than four months despite repeated follow-ups, I feel I have no choice. This is on top of several other terrible experiences. I truly loved my doctor, but she is no longer there. This place seems to keep declining, with little consideration for patients amid bureaucratic and administrative struggles. It is deeply disappointing. I hope no one else has to go through this.

My experience at Kindbody Fertility Clinic was very disappointing. My initial consultation with Dr. J was awkward because too many people were on the call. From the beginning, I felt rushed into treatment without an appropriate explanation of or attention to my specific circumstances. After 3 IUI cycles and a year of trying naturally, Dr. J quickly pushed me toward IVF without exploring other options or considering why treatment had not worked, even though I was only 30. The nurses were kind, but the rest of the experience felt impersonal and disorganized. I was pushed into a "DuoStim" cycle that did not work and then pushed to bank embryos. After several failed transfers, I miscarried at 12 weeks and only later learned that my chronic endometritis had not been treated properly. My new clinic and subsequent biopsies and treatments confirmed that a 7-day course of antibiotics was insufficient. The clinic's approach felt like a kitchen-sink strategy—expensive medications and add-ons with little supporting evidence. After the initial consultation, I rarely saw Dr. J again, only nurse practitioners whom I felt had no personal investment in my care. Scheduling became increasingly difficult as the clinic moved to a third-party call center, adding even more stress. On top of everything, I was overcharged by nearly $4,000, and it took months to receive a refund. I could not even get a response from billing until I threatened legal action. Overall, I would not recommend Kindbody Fertility Clinic. The lack of personalized care and poor communication made an already challenging journey even more difficult.

"From despair to holding our miracles..." After several failed IVF attempts at different clinics, I entered Dr. Jheelani's office with a heavy heart. She looked at me and said, "Don't worry, we'll try again." From that day forward, she and her wonderful team filled me with hope. They never said, "What if it doesn't work?" but always, "It will work." I chose to transfer two embryos because I longed to become a mother... and now I hold two beautiful twin daughters in my arms. They are 5 months old, healthy, and perfect. I will always be grateful to Dr. Jheelani and her team for turning my pain into joy. To everyone still struggling—please do not give up. Miracles happen here. 💖

Our treatment journey was far from easy because of unforeseen medical challenges. We completed several FETs with frozen embryos before finding the right protocol for me. I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure several years ago, and during treatment we discovered some systemic inflammation. Despite multiple failures, Dr. Jeelani's team of nurses and sonographers made the process smoother. Whenever we needed to adjust the treatment plan or received a negative pregnancy result, Dr. Jeelani reached out personally. She even checked on us after bad news. Dr. Jeelani also tried some treatments that are not mainstream but have been discussed in recent medical literature. By the end of treatment, they felt like family. We were very sad, but also excited, when we graduated at 10 weeks pregnant.
    Oct 9, 2025
The experience was difficult but incredible. Honestly, if you have to go through this ordeal, it is exhausting, but I could not be more excited about the result. Dr. Jeelani is amazing. All our questions were answered, even the small ones I wanted to ask just to see whether they were appropriate. She was our second doctor, and I am so glad we left the first doctor we consulted and chose Dr. Jeelani. We now have the most precious little baby and are preparing for our second. We are very happy with the outcome, and the staff were excellent during both procedures.

I wish I could give Kindbody zero stars. It is the most disorganized company I have ever worked with. They made mistakes at every step—from losing my medical records three times when transferring them from my previous provider, whose retiring doctor was the best, to scheduling errors and nurses giving inaccurate information. Now, after five years of their terrible service, they have lost the paperwork I signed to donate my remaining embryos to research and are demanding $1,000 in embryo storage fees. I have spent nearly a year trying to resolve this, only to receive incorrect information, be passed around, and be dismissed. Infertility is painful enough. I thought I had moved past it, but Kindbody has made it worse while refusing to take responsibility for its errors. Do not go here!

Because of insurance, I visited three different fertility clinics, but Kindbody was by far the best! Communication was very prompt, and I never felt confused about the next step. Everyone was extremely thoughtful. I cannot put into words how grateful I am. Kindbody restored the hope we had lost this year!

I highly recommend Dr. Jilani and the Kindbody team! Dr. Jilani is amazing—compassionate, exceptionally supportive, quick-thinking, and always insightful. I had struggled with diminished ovarian reserve for two years at another clinic without success before being referred to Dr. Jilani. From the first consultation, I knew this fertility journey would be different. We became pregnant in less than a year, and I am incredibly grateful. Dr. Jilani is not only highly skilled but also genuinely kind and caring. Everyone on the Kindbody team was outstanding—from the nurses and surgical team to the other physicians involved in my care. Every interaction was professional, supportive, and positive. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jilani and the Kindbody team. Highly recommended!
    Jan 28, 2026
Absolutely terrible. They seemed good at first, but once treatment began, no one appeared to know what was happening. Getting an appointment with a doctor was nearly impossible. It felt like dealing with a call center that simply followed a script and never adapted to the situation.

Our surrogacy journey began with Vios Fertility, which was later acquired and renamed Kindbody. Despite some challenges during the transition, we ultimately received the care we needed. Our fertility specialist, Dr. Alvarez, was very attentive, and we will always be grateful that he helped us realize our dream. One area for improvement would be communication with support staff, ancillary staff, and third-party navigators, who were sometimes difficult to reach.

Do not see Dr. Alvarez at Kindbody. It was the worst decision of my life. If you were previously a patient of Dr. Jeelani, go to her new clinic. She is highly skilled. He is not suited to fertility medicine and should do something else. I am not saying this because I was unsuccessful with him. I stayed at Kindbody because all my materials were there. I worked with both doctors, and their approaches are not comparable.

It has been nearly a year since I have been to any Kindbody clinic. They are just recently sending me statements of outstanding balances from visits nearly two years ago. It's zero surprise to me however since every administrative experience from scheduling to authorization was a nightmare while I was a patient there. Why not throw billing into their issue pile? One of the visits is a $900 charge that I just recently starting getting texts for. After more investigation on my end, I realized this is the same charge that they stated over a year ago that they were going to write off. If you call, no one on their billing department can explain or do anything about it. Then they open a "ticket" for someone to just send a message in the portal. It's a joke of a practice and I'm so happy to ALMOST be rid of them!

I was frightened and nervous when checking in this morning, but everyone, from registration and my nurse to the anesthesiologist, doctor, and all procedure staff, was wonderful and helped ease my anxiety. I felt reassured. Within minutes I was discharged and beginning recovery. Everything went very smoothly. Special thanks to my registration nurse Jordon, who patiently answered my many questions and was so kind ❤️😊 Thank you, Kindbody.
    Mar 22, 2026
I truly wanted to give five stars because we greatly appreciate the warm, attentive staff, who deserve five. The billing department deserves one. We were required to prepay estimated costs not covered by insurance, yet after the procedure they sent another bill and withheld our embryos until it was paid. They acted as if we had not prepaid. When I reminded them, they finally removed the duplicate bill. I then realized we had overpaid because the estimate exceeded the final charges. Somehow they did not notice when applying the prepayment, and I had to request a refund. Without my review, they would have kept the overpayment and charged again for the same service. They had many opportunities to catch the errors, never apologized, and payment history even began disappearing from the billing portal. A $1,300 payment vanished as though it had never existed, forcing me to check my credit-card statements. Keep detailed records and triple-check everything or you may lose money. Anyone billed after treatment despite prepayment may have been charged twice. Be careful!

Even two stars feels generous, but based on my experience, I cannot confidently recommend this company. These are some of my experiences at the Midvale location. My doctor, whom I will not name, met with me only twice, both times virtually. She was neither warm nor considerate, which was especially painful in the vulnerable context of infertility. Initially, I was hopeful. My HSG and SHG were normal. However, the doctor said my AMH was very low at 0.77; repeat testing showed 0.83 ng/mL. I was devastated and could not understand why it had fallen so much in four years, from 2.44 in 2020. She mechanically recommended IVF and provided statistics and success rates for my age group. From then on, communication felt chaotic and unclear. Costs were explained reasonably well, but different people repeatedly called about the same matters. Protocols and processes were not explained beforehand, causing significant stress. For example, I asked about trying letrozole. They should have called to explain the process. Instead, an unfamiliar pharmacy called about sending HCG, followed by another call to schedule an ultrasound, with no prior explanation. The stress eventually led me to cancel all treatment. Dissatisfied with the experience and the recommendation for IVF rather than investigating the problem, I changed doctors. I found a NaPro physician willing to investigate why I had not conceived again after a straightforward pregnancy and delivery at age 35. We learned that endometriosis was likely the main obstacle, with laparoscopy as the next step. My surgeon ordered blood tests, which I completed on cycle day 3 last week. Today's result showed an AMH of 2.24 ng/mL! I was so angry that Utah Fertility Center had misrepresented my AMH that I decided to write this review. In short, understand what you may encounter. You are unlikely to have frequent contact with your doctor or consistent communication with staff who know you and your case, unless perhaps you choose IVF. Have blood tests performed by an outside facility to avoid distorted or misleading results that could push you toward IVF. If you want to investigate underlying causes before trying IVF, consider NaPro treatment. Best wishes to all prospective parents on their fertility journey!

I have been with UFC for almost four years and am deeply grateful for everything they have done. Dr. Dorais is wonderful. I visited another practice while living in Nashville, and I can assure you that the clinic you choose truly matters. Everyone at UFC genuinely cared about me, and I will always be grateful for what they did for my family.

The staff were extremely rude and offered no further information. I waited more than 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, and their "medical professional" rudely told me to come to the clinic if I had a problem, then hung up on me.

I am very disappointed by the poor communication, lack of empathy, and last-minute appointment cancellations. I understand that lab work can be delayed, but I was not told in advance that the lab needed an additional blood sample. As for empathy, every staff member I encountered was rude and acted as though I was inconveniencing them. If I had not already invested so much time and effort in extensive testing, I would go elsewhere. I will revise this review if the staff improve their service during the rest of my treatment.

What an unforgettable experience! Six failed IUIs, one IVF cycle, and one transfer resulted in twins—one conceived through IVF and the other naturally three days later! It sounds interesting, but it was not. The Ogden staff lacked expertise, treated you like a number, and were cold and without empathy. The Salt Lake City and Pleasant Grove staff were wonderful.

More than a year ago, my husband and I adopted embryos and began IVF treatment. We chose Utah Fertility Center, and they took every concern seriously. We felt genuinely understood and valued. We had our embryo transfer last December, and we now have a beautiful five-month-old baby girl. Thank you to the entire medical team!

You will mainly see nurse practitioners. Doctors mostly work behind the scenes and rarely see patients personally. Most clinicians are professional but not very warm and lack bedside manner. Nurse practitioner Kristi Roggendorf is the exception: she is friendly, empathetic, and genuinely cares about me as a person. The clinic operates smoothly, and staff try to move visits along quickly. After two miscarriages, a Hashimoto's thyroiditis diagnosis, and three timed-intercourse cycles, I am now 16 weeks pregnant with twins.

I was dissatisfied with my experience here. It felt as though their highest priority was completing appointments as quickly as possible. Although I appreciated the efficiency, I never felt that anyone truly cared about me as a patient. The doctor was wonderful, but the staff were extremely pushy about starting treatment quickly, even before the doctor approved it. I received daily calls urging me to begin immediately. I waited a month to see the doctor. After the doctor approved treatment, I left several messages trying to schedule it but never received a response. A nurse also gave me incorrect information. The doctor explained my test results and was surprised that the nurse had “diagnosed” me with a condition I did not have. After reading other reviews, it seems that other complaints received compassionate responses. However, based on my experience and similar concerns, no action appears to have been taken to improve patient care, which is disappointing. I shared my experience with friends, many of whom were shocked by the care—or lack of care—I received, which differed greatly from their experiences elsewhere.

I had an IVF transfer last December that failed, which was okay. My doctor was wonderful, and I liked her very much. But since stopping the medication, I have felt terrible. It has had a major physical and mental impact. The harm these medications can cause is unbelievable. I developed gastritis and other symptoms. I strongly recommend that before starting IVF, doctors sit down with patients and explain all possible medication side effects in detail. After the failed IVF cycle, I saw my doctor, who prescribed progesterone pills to balance my hormone levels. I later learned that this was a menopause medication. She told me it would only cause dizziness and that I should take it at night. Instead, I felt tired every day, slept about 11 hours daily, experienced shaking and depression, and had other symptoms. Another major concern was that the medication could cause a false-positive mammogram. I decided to stop the birth control pills abruptly. After stopping, my periods became irregular. As a woman who has undergone IVF four times, I urge you not to put such substances into your body. They can severely affect you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Also, research any medication before taking it, even when prescribed by a doctor.

Without this clinic and its excellent doctors, I would not have my precious baby after ten years of waiting. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 💜 I had to drive from Green River, Wyoming, for several consecutive days, but they always scheduled me promptly, saw me right away, and never made me run around unnecessarily. They communicated well and were always kind. They not only helped me conceive my wonderful daughter but also diagnosed me with polycystic ovary syndrome and hypothyroidism, conditions that had gone undiagnosed for years. They helped me tremendously, and I plan to return in the future.

I worked with UFC for nearly a year and a half and had an excellent experience! Communication was always timely, and I felt involved and informed throughout treatment. Every staff member I encountered—doctors, nurses, medical assistants, and office staff—was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. There were never any unexpected costs or billing issues. I am now 19 weeks pregnant! I am very grateful for UFC's care!

I do not usually leave reviews, but I want to prevent others from coming here and having the same experience. Our OB-GYN referred us to UFC. After 6 months of medicated cycles, we were ready for more aggressive treatment. We had an initial consultation and were comfortable with the plan: timed intercourse (TIC), followed by intrauterine insemination (IUI) if unsuccessful. The doctor ordered extensive testing and blood work, which I fully supported. Before starting TIC, a medical assistant called to say a test suggested I might have lupus and that the doctor had prescribed lupus medication. Because lupus is serious, I asked whether I should see a specialist for further testing. The medical assistant clearly knew little about it. Instead of asking the doctor or transferring me, she dismissively said lupus can take years to diagnose and might not be worth pursuing now. As a medical professional, I knew this was unreasonable. I should have been referred for further testing, and medication should not have been prescribed without it. Eager to conceive, I began taking the drug. My research showed it can cause legal blindness and requires annual eye examinations. The assistant never mentioned this, likely because she did not know. I later chose to see a specialist, who said I did not have lupus and should never have been prescribed the drug. He was shocked that a fertility doctor prescribed it without consulting a rheumatologist. During our TIC cycle, the doctor prescribed 600 mg of progesterone. Another clinic later told me this dose was extremely high. It made me dizzy and unable to stand upright, but I continued because I trusted my doctor. After two weeks, I felt terrible and had blood work to check the cycle. It had failed, and I was not pregnant. The person who called showed no compassion. Our world collapsed, our money felt wasted, and they seemed not to care. They simply told me to call when my period began to start another cycle. They need sensitivity training for such difficult calls. I later called to schedule IUI for the next month. I called at least 6 times, left voicemails, and sent messages through the app, but no one responded. Fertility treatment is time-sensitive, and waiting days for a return call can cost an entire month. I eventually gave up and contacted another clinic, which scheduled me quickly. After two months there, I became pregnant. They never prescribed unnecessary medication, used no more than 200 mg of progesterone, answered every message, and saw me on time at every visit. Overall, my experience at UFC was terrible. It also cost twice as much as my current clinic while providing much poorer care. In my view, they are focused on profit, overbook too many patients, and provide impersonal care. I hope anyone considering this clinic understands what they may face. I drove an hour to each appointment at a different clinic and do not regret it. Infertility is difficult enough; seek treatment elsewhere rather than adding more heartbreak.

The entire process was a joke. We only asked them to process a lab sample. They called me the next business day after the order was sent, so I thought it would be quick and easy. Then there was a problem with the order. Fine—I contacted the ordering provider, who corrected and resent it. Three more weeks and countless calls passed before we obtained an appointment. Their excuses included: the Ogden location had no availability, Taylor would call to schedule, and they had not received the order. They had—the ordering doctor sent it four times, and I emailed it too. Finally, the kind Jerica scheduled us. Thank you, Jerica! The spelling may be wrong. Now we cannot get the results sent to the ordering doctor. They want us to activate a patient portal, but they did not set it up correctly, so they do not receive our emails and cannot be reached by phone. They asked three times who the ordering doctor was, yet there is still no progress. This “simple process” has been a nightmare. Communication is poor, there is no trust, and no one seems to take action. It is terrible.

Now that I know about many options beyond IVF, I realize how terrible this clinic was. My wife said she did not want IVF. Their poorly designed website made it seem they did not want to communicate with patients. I took an at-home test, and my wife, a medical laboratory technician, thought it seemed suspicious. The doctor behaved like a 14-year-old girl when discussing reproduction. Even in a sales setting, patients should at least be told about other options. Knowing those options now, I realize this clinic wasted years of our time without teaching us anything.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gurtcheff. She supported us from egg retrieval through delivery. Thanks to her expertise and patience, we achieved two pregnancies. Her compassion made the process much easier.

We are extremely grateful to Utah Fertility Center! Being referred for help was emotional and overwhelming, especially with my complex history. Dr. Louwden had carefully reviewed my records before we met, which made me feel reassured and genuinely cared for. She gave us the information and tools to make the best decision for our family. Her knowledge and experience gave us confidence and made me feel empowered. The medical assistants and nurse practitioners were patient, kind, understanding, and very helpful. My questions were always answered, and calls were returned the same day, usually within hours. We are now expecting a baby, and our son is a big brother—something I once could not imagine. We would choose this clinic again. Our whole family is deeply grateful.

I am very grateful I was referred to Utah Fertility Center. Dr. Gurtcheff treated me with empathy and care while remaining honest and avoiding false hope or unlikely treatments that would waste time and money. Over several years, I also saw other doctors and surgeons at all three Utah Fertility Center locations. Ultimately, the nurses and staff I saw several times each week made the greatest difference; every one of them was wonderful. Infertility treatment is exhausting and painful, but whether I was elated or heartbroken, I felt supported by a strong, skilled team doing everything possible to help me succeed. It was not easy, but for the child I ultimately had, I would endure it a hundred times. Thank you to everyone who helped fulfill my dream!

I truly appreciate Utah Fertility Center. During such a vulnerable time, they consistently provided information, answered our questions, and treated us as individuals. The nurse practitioners were especially helpful and impressive. Infertility involves a real learning curve, and it took us time to understand what we were doing, but they were always willing to answer questions, help us understand, and empower us. Highly recommended.

The service here is poor. Wait times are long. They want to meet patients by video conference. They cancel appointments at will even after confirming them. They pressure you into decisions you do not want to make. The staff are cold and uncaring. I have visited several other fertility centers and came here for another opinion, but I never expected this center to be so bad. I will never return.

We booked three months in advance and paid a deposit. The day before the appointment, we received confirmation that we were scheduled for the next day, but a few hours later they canceled. We called immediately and were told that cancer patients took priority, so our slot had been given to a cancer patient. They offered to reschedule us if we were willing to wait another three months. No, thank you.

I am an egg donor and recently completed a retrieval. Although the process can be challenging and difficult, it is always deeply fulfilling. Utah Fertility Center takes excellent care of donors and patients. I am very grateful to every staff member who helped me along the way. Leslie was the nurse who supported and encouraged me throughout, and I will always appreciate her guidance, expertise, and reassurance during and after the retrieval, especially through recovery, which was the hardest part for me. I hope to continue donating through Utah Fertility Center and would recommend them to my family and friends.

I donated eggs six times with Idaho/Utah Fertility Center, reaching the donation limit. Writing this review is bittersweet because I just completed my final cycle, and I could not imagine a better ending. I live in Idaho Falls and spent most of my time at the IF clinic, where I made many wonderful memories with an amazing group of women. They were always helpful, kind, and responsive. Leslie, thank you for your warmth and support through the challenging and rewarding moments. Words cannot express how grateful I am for everything you have done for me over the past few years. To the Idaho Falls nurses: you made every blood draw less painful and always kept me updated—thank you. Carson and Stephanie, thank you for taking such good care of me during these cycles. You were always there with laughter and positivity when I needed it. I knew I could rely on you to make me feel safe, supported, and encouraged. Dr. Conway, you performed most of my retrievals in Utah, and I am deeply grateful for your careful attention to my safety and well-being. Dr. Henne, thank you for performing my final retrieval and for appreciating my just-woke-up-from-anesthesia humor—it was wonderful working with you. To everyone: thank you so much. I could not have reached this point without your support, kindness, and encouragement. Thank you for helping me support families struggling with infertility. I will deeply miss your smiling faces and the close bonds we built over the years. I highly recommend Idaho/Utah Fertility Center. They are knowledgeable, thoughtful, compassionate, and sincerely committed to helping families on their fertility journeys.

I cannot say enough good things about Utah Fertility Center. From the moment I walked in, everyone I met was exceptionally kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. The doctors, nurses, ultrasound technicians, and front desk staff listened patiently, explained everything clearly, and ensured that I felt supported without ever rushing me. Fertility treatment can be physically and emotionally overwhelming, but the entire team made me feel safe, respected, and truly cared for at every step. Their professionalism and sincere compassion make this clinic exceptional. I am deeply grateful for the care I received and highly recommend Utah Fertility Center to anyone on a fertility journey.

I have never encountered such rude staff. The women in the office were extremely disrespectful. I have lost confidence in doing this in Utah and am considering traveling out of state. They also seem to have little data on frozen eggs, with a very small sample size, and no experience freezing eggs for older women. Avoid this clinic and save yourself the trouble. Reply to the clinic owner: The staff seemed specially trained to mistreat patients, so you clearly did not do what you claim.

I came here for donor-egg IVF. If I could choose again, I would not select this fertility center. My doctor was Medical Director Dr. Gurtcheff. It was difficult to get complete answers from her. Sometimes she replied with only a few words, and I often had to ask follow-up questions for details. She did not explain what certain pregnancy measurements meant unless I pressed, and she lacked compassion. I believe she should have evaluated my uterus more thoroughly before transfer. My new doctor diagnosed endometritis and polyps, which have now been removed. I lost two embryos. The only positive at Utah was coordinator Ali, who was lovely, patient, and compassionate. Apparently, however, $40,000 does not buy compassion or time from the doctor. I am not alone in this view; check the Facebook groups before going. When I requested another doctor, they did not even respect that request. The center already had few doctors, and some of the few well-reviewed ones recently left. Reply to Utah: What a clever response. I requested another doctor, yet you failed to explain why this was not possible. A classic bureaucratic tactic. Find a medical center that is not owned by private equity.

Utah Fertility Center's embryo preservation is extremely poor: one in four embryos reportedly does not survive insemination. Please do not trust them 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 They refuse to admit mistakes and demand monthly payment for our remaining nonviable embryos, which we had intended to donate to scientific research. The only science they understand is money. Do not expect compassion; they are bankers in another form. @Utah Fertility Center, please do not delete this review. We will update it as needed. You can block a Facebook account, but a Google account is harder to block. Take care, everyone reading this.

We had a wonderful experience at Utah Fertility Center. Fertility treatment can make you feel vulnerable, but we were fortunate to have an excellent care team that reassured us everything was under control. Every staff member was kind and made me comfortable throughout visits and treatment. Beyond these positive experiences, they also helped us conceive and build our family, for which we are deeply grateful!

I am devastated and heartbroken by this clinic’s extreme lack of professionalism. After waiting three months for an appointment, I received a cancellation text the day before. There was no phone call, only a text that my phone even flagged as spam. Last Friday, I specifically called to confirm the appointment and asked them to call or email if anything was missing, but I received nothing. Our records showed that both my husband’s and my information was 100% complete, and I have screenshots. What hurts most is the effect on my health. I recently had endometriosis surgery in preparation for this appointment, and the first three months after surgery are my best window for conception. I wanted everything ready so we could begin trying as soon as possible. This appointment was part of our plan to make the most of that critical period. Now my husband will not return until June, and my optimal post-surgery fertility window has been wasted because of scheduling errors and poor communication. I went to great lengths with my OB-GYN to prepare all my medical records, only to be stood up. I am deeply hurt. If you want a clinic that treats you as a person rather than a number in a system, look elsewhere.

We have been patients at Utah Fertility Center for several years and have always been very satisfied. We have consistently worked with Dr. Gurtcheff and feel extremely fortunate. She is always helpful and patiently listens to all our thoughts and questions. She is candid and direct while remaining kind and encouraging. Thanks to her, we had a successful frozen embryo transfer and now have a little boy who is almost 4.

I had been trying to become pregnant since November 2024. Our first appointment with UFC was in December 2025. I told them upfront that our insurance did not cover fertility treatment, and they assured me everything would be classified as diagnostic and covered. I trusted them and completed every test they scheduled. I was never told which tests were being performed, given a breakdown of what anything meant, or presented with an official treatment plan. I simply kept attending when instructed. They suspected PCOS because my cycles lasted more than 80 days. After all the testing from December through the end of March, I still had no official diagnosis. I had to contact them myself, and a nurse replied that my results ‘aligned with PCOS.’ When I asked whether that conclusion came from the doctor, I was told I would need an appointment to speak with him and that he was booked for more than a month. I therefore never received an actual diagnosis from a doctor. I want to be clear that I have no objection to paying for quality care. What I object to is being blindsided. Before treatment even began, I received a $1,500 bill without warning. A follow-up appointment to review my results cost $75, which was also never disclosed in advance. Ask the price of every appointment before scheduling because they will not tell you unless you ask. The only treatments offered were timed intercourse at $750 per month or IUI. This is my second child. I knew my body could become pregnant; I simply had long cycles and needed help regulating them. I asked for a less invasive option but was pushed back on rather than heard. Metformin was never mentioned. I found an OB independently who prescribed Metformin. Within 3 weeks, I was pregnant. I am now 5 weeks pregnant with excellent numbers after taking a $20 medication that was never mentioned during four months at UFC. Please exhaust every other option before beginning what may become a long, expensive, and confusing process here. TLDR: 4 months, no official diagnosis, $1,500 in bills before treatment even began, and the $20 medication that helped me become pregnant within 3 weeks was never mentioned. I had to switch providers even to learn it was an option. Always ask about costs upfront and exhaust all options before coming here.”

My egg retrieval day was smooth and pleasant. Dr. Ali was kind and considerate and patiently explained the entire procedure. All the staff were wonderful—Makayla was especially kind and took excellent care of me. I felt very good about the experience.

Unfortunately, my embryos are at another fertility center. If you need external monitoring here, go to a hospital. They do not accept your insurance. A saline sonogram costs $450.

This review is long overdue, and words cannot express how grateful we are to Utah Fertility Center. We are deeply thankful to the entire team. We received treatment at the St. George and Pleasant Grove clinics and had an incredible experience throughout. Our IVF nurse coordinator Amanda was truly wonderful—kind, supportive, and highly organized throughout the process. Amanda is an amazing person, and we adore her. And Dr. Conway... we are convinced she is an angel. We witnessed the miracles she creates. Everything she did was remarkable! She was compassionate, and her proactive treatment approach made all the difference. We felt heard, understood, and genuinely cared for. The care we received was so kind and sincere that words cannot describe how incredible they were. We traveled from Las Vegas for treatment and have absolutely no regrets. The St. George team was wonderful to us. The women there were amazing. They handled our examinations, ultrasounds, and all related testing. They will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful to them! Thanks to them, we now have a beautiful one-year-old daughter. We will never forget what they did for our family. We are glad they became part of our story. They made our dream come true.

I cannot say enough good things about UFC. Every appointment was a wonderful experience. We felt cared for and treated with nothing but kindness. We especially appreciate Cassidy at the front desk for her kindness, Ann-Marie and Tami for their knowledge, and Celesta, Brynlee, and Mitta for their help and kindness. The women at this clinic are the best! It was a pleasure getting to know them! 💕

UFC helped us tremendously as we dealt with infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. The one area I believe they should improve is providing in-house mental health support. Psychological support would be invaluable when coping with pregnancy loss and the extreme emotional challenges that follow. The St. George area also has a serious shortage of infertility-specific mental health resources, and I believe this would be a valuable addition to our community.

Untrained staff repeatedly inserted my wife's catheter incorrectly until another nurse was sent to correct it. That evening, my wife developed a large blood clot, and the clinic never responded to us. This was only one of many poor experiences.

This was my second intrauterine insemination (IUI) at Utah Fertility Center, and I absolutely love the team! I had many questions throughout the process, and they answered every one. Although the first attempt failed, everyone was supportive and kind when I returned for the second. I highly recommend this center!

My wife and I both love this place! Everyone was very kind and helped us greatly during our most difficult time. If you are experiencing pregnancy-related problems, I highly recommend going there.

    May 26, 2026
