I had an IVF transfer last December that failed, which was okay. My doctor was wonderful, and I liked her very much. But since stopping the medication, I have felt terrible. It has had a major physical and mental impact. The harm these medications can cause is unbelievable. I developed gastritis and other symptoms. I strongly recommend that before starting IVF, doctors sit down with patients and explain all possible medication side effects in detail. After the failed IVF cycle, I saw my doctor, who prescribed progesterone pills to balance my hormone levels. I later learned that this was a menopause medication. She told me it would only cause dizziness and that I should take it at night. Instead, I felt tired every day, slept about 11 hours daily, experienced shaking and depression, and had other symptoms. Another major concern was that the medication could cause a false-positive mammogram. I decided to stop the birth control pills abruptly. After stopping, my periods became irregular. As a woman who has undergone IVF four times, I urge you not to put such substances into your body. They can severely affect you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Also, research any medication before taking it, even when prescribed by a doctor.

I was dissatisfied with my experience here. It felt as though their highest priority was completing appointments as quickly as possible. Although I appreciated the efficiency, I never felt that anyone truly cared about me as a patient. The doctor was wonderful, but the staff were extremely pushy about starting treatment quickly, even before the doctor approved it. I received daily calls urging me to begin immediately. I waited a month to see the doctor. After the doctor approved treatment, I left several messages trying to schedule it but never received a response. A nurse also gave me incorrect information. The doctor explained my test results and was surprised that the nurse had “diagnosed” me with a condition I did not have. After reading other reviews, it seems that other complaints received compassionate responses. However, based on my experience and similar concerns, no action appears to have been taken to improve patient care, which is disappointing. I shared my experience with friends, many of whom were shocked by the care—or lack of care—I received, which differed greatly from their experiences elsewhere.

You will mainly see nurse practitioners. Doctors mostly work behind the scenes and rarely see patients personally. Most clinicians are professional but not very warm and lack bedside manner. Nurse practitioner Kristi Roggendorf is the exception: she is friendly, empathetic, and genuinely cares about me as a person. The clinic operates smoothly, and staff try to move visits along quickly. After two miscarriages, a Hashimoto's thyroiditis diagnosis, and three timed-intercourse cycles, I am now 16 weeks pregnant with twins.

More than a year ago, my husband and I adopted embryos and began IVF treatment. We chose Utah Fertility Center, and they took every concern seriously. We felt genuinely understood and valued. We had our embryo transfer last December, and we now have a beautiful five-month-old baby girl. Thank you to the entire medical team!

UFC is amazing! This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. Everyone is helpful, warm, and friendly. They do everything possible to ensure that you are comfortable and well cared for!

What an unforgettable experience! Six failed IUIs, one IVF cycle, and one transfer resulted in twins—one conceived through IVF and the other naturally three days later! It sounds interesting, but it was not. The Ogden staff lacked expertise, treated you like a number, and were cold and without empathy. The Salt Lake City and Pleasant Grove staff were wonderful.

I am very disappointed by the poor communication, lack of empathy, and last-minute appointment cancellations. I understand that lab work can be delayed, but I was not told in advance that the lab needed an additional blood sample. As for empathy, every staff member I encountered was rude and acted as though I was inconveniencing them. If I had not already invested so much time and effort in extensive testing, I would go elsewhere. I will revise this review if the staff improve their service during the rest of my treatment.

The staff were extremely rude and offered no further information. I waited more than 10 minutes for someone to answer the phone, and their "medical professional" rudely told me to come to the clinic if I had a problem, then hung up on me.

I have been with UFC for almost four years and am deeply grateful for everything they have done. Dr. Dorais is wonderful. I visited another practice while living in Nashville, and I can assure you that the clinic you choose truly matters. Everyone at UFC genuinely cared about me, and I will always be grateful for what they did for my family.

Dr. Alley was wonderful. He made sure to explain everything, including every step and procedure we would go through. I am excited about this new journey.

Even two stars feels generous, but based on my experience, I cannot confidently recommend this company. These are some of my experiences at the Midvale location. My doctor, whom I will not name, met with me only twice, both times virtually. She was neither warm nor considerate, which was especially painful in the vulnerable context of infertility. Initially, I was hopeful. My HSG and SHG were normal. However, the doctor said my AMH was very low at 0.77; repeat testing showed 0.83 ng/mL. I was devastated and could not understand why it had fallen so much in four years, from 2.44 in 2020. She mechanically recommended IVF and provided statistics and success rates for my age group. From then on, communication felt chaotic and unclear. Costs were explained reasonably well, but different people repeatedly called about the same matters. Protocols and processes were not explained beforehand, causing significant stress. For example, I asked about trying letrozole. They should have called to explain the process. Instead, an unfamiliar pharmacy called about sending HCG, followed by another call to schedule an ultrasound, with no prior explanation. The stress eventually led me to cancel all treatment. Dissatisfied with the experience and the recommendation for IVF rather than investigating the problem, I changed doctors. I found a NaPro physician willing to investigate why I had not conceived again after a straightforward pregnancy and delivery at age 35. We learned that endometriosis was likely the main obstacle, with laparoscopy as the next step. My surgeon ordered blood tests, which I completed on cycle day 3 last week. Today's result showed an AMH of 2.24 ng/mL! I was so angry that Utah Fertility Center had misrepresented my AMH that I decided to write this review. In short, understand what you may encounter. You are unlikely to have frequent contact with your doctor or consistent communication with staff who know you and your case, unless perhaps you choose IVF. Have blood tests performed by an outside facility to avoid distorted or misleading results that could push you toward IVF. If you want to investigate underlying causes before trying IVF, consider NaPro treatment. Best wishes to all prospective parents on their fertility journey!
