Dr. Saji Jacob (United States)

Dr. Saji Jacob’s mission is helping couples realize their dream of having a child. With his hands-on, patient-centric approach, Dr. Jacob seeks to provide all infertile couples who walk through GoFertility’s doors exemplary care at an affordable price in a friendly and compassionate environment.

Dr. Jacob became a board-certified high-complexity lab director by the American Board of Bioanalysis in 2018. In doing so, he is one of only a handful of dual

board-certified infertility specialists in the United States. With a Fellowship in Embryology in Ireland, his expertise in both the clinical and laboratory arenas uniquely positions him to treat patients navigating infertility issues with a success rate that annually beats the national average.

Dr. Jacob is a certified robotic surgeon specializing in highly complex gynecological procedures. That includes advanced-stage endometriosis, myomectomies (fibroid removal surgery), tubal microsurgical reanastomosis and complex hysterectomies, among others. He is a national proctor for training doctors across the U.S. in robotic gynecological surgeries.

Dr. Jacob has a long-held interest and heart for helping couples in their difficult journey through infertility. He saw firsthand the emotional distress infertile couples experience while assisting an infertility specialist as a medical school student. Dr. Jacob recalls a patient saying to him with tears rolling down her cheeks, “Since I am not able to have a baby, I feel I am an incomplete woman.”

That interaction stuck with Dr. Jacob, and he decided at that moment to dedicate his medical career to assisting infertile couples in their dream of bearing a child. Upon graduating from medical school and OB/GYN residency, he fulfilled a

three-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility with the Human Assisted Reproduction Ireland Unit of the Royal College of Surgeons at Dublin’s Rotunda Hospital. Here, he learned every advanced reproductive technology and completed further research in the field of infertility.

Dr. Jacob became medical and lab director of GoFertility in 2011, which he called a dream come true. He is proud the center offers a comprehensive array of services in a responsive and efficient manner to better serve patients. GoFertility’s
