The finance team cannot bill correctly, follow up, or correct their mistakes. Ten months have passed, and we paid them thousands of dollars while our benefits team has been completely incompetent. Even though we work with one of their partners, they still do not know how to return our money because of their complete incompetence. They fail to follow up for weeks or months at a time. We will not work with them again.

I am not using my real name. I hesitated to post, but I want to warn others. I completed two frozen-egg retrieval cycles at CCRM. Staff communication was terrible. When my first cycle did not look promising and I asked to speak with my doctor—or any doctor—to consider my options, I was told this was impossible because my doctor was on vacation. I understand that people take vacations, but when I am paying about $22,000 per cycle, I expect to be able to consult a doctor if things are not going in the right direction. This was not allowed. During my consultation, I was told billing would check my insurance to see whether it covered any part of the plan and would discuss my options with me. That never happened, period. A woman at reception said the billing staff were not there and that it was “usually not covered and costs $20-25,000.” She handed me a piece of paper with the total. I just stood there awkwardly and said okay. When I decided to complete a second cycle and asked about a discounted rate, reception said flatly, “Yes... we do not offer discounts.” This was incorrect, as I later learned when I told my doctor I would use another clinic because of the uncompetitive price. In both cycles, billing waited until a few days before I started medication to demand payment, with a threatening message essentially saying, “Late payment may delay your start date.” You hear nothing and then payment is suddenly extremely urgent, while no one answers the phone. You have to keep calling because you do not want to be late. Several times while I was in the office for bloodwork, I tried to meet billing staff but was told they were not in that day, even at 3 p.m. Across two cycles and retrievals, I interacted with my doctor only 3 times in total, so adjust your expectations about one-on-one contact. My initial consultation was long and detailed, but once the process began—that is, once I started paying—she was barely involved. At our “debrief” after the second retrieval, she said, “This is great, I got to perform both retrievals!” In fact, she performed only one. Please check the patient's chart before calling. For retrieval, I took a taxi to the clinic early and arranged for a friend to pick me up afterward; taking a taxi home is not permitted, which is standard. When the nurse entered the crowded waiting room to take me back, she looked around and said loudly, “Are you alone? You cannot be alone. Someone needs to be with you or we cannot proceed.” My face flushed, and I quietly told her I knew the rules and someone was coming to pick me up. Given the nature of fertility planning for single people, this was insensitive. The bedside manner definitely needs improvement. Finally, I left CCRM more than a year ago and still have not received a bill for annual frozen-egg storage. When I contacted them—receiving replies twice—they said my account was on hold because an address was missing. I sent my address and said it was alarming that my account had been suspended without any notification through the app or by phone. Billing said, “This is a fault in our system. We are not notified when an account is suspended. It basically appears when we log into your account to check what happened. I apologize. Your statement will be sent soon.” This raised serious alarm bells. I do not know when they might dispose of eggs for unpaid storage fees, and I do not want to think about it. These are only a few examples. Overall, it is disappointing that Colorado's “top fertility clinic” is so disorganized. At this price, service should be consistent. I would not recommend them. Get your SHT together! Shout-out to Haley and Caroline, who are both wonderful nurses.

I am a returning patient of Dr. Barton and an OB-GYN in Denver myself. I refer all my patients to Dr. Barton and would refer my family to her as well. Fertility journeys are difficult for many reasons. Dr. Barton is very compassionate, has an excellent bedside manner, listens to all your questions and concerns, and addresses your care in a personalized way. I cannot say enough positive things about my IVF care from Dr. Barton and her staff. She is simply the best.

We had a very good experience with CCRM and have just welcomed our baby boy, whom we otherwise would not have had. We came here after trying to conceive naturally for two years without success. Dr. Barton was our doctor, and she was wonderful. All the clinical staff were excellent, including the ultrasound technicians and nurses. The clinic uses an online portal for communication, and the medical team responds very quickly, so we had no complaints. For reference, we completed one IVF cycle. I was 37 and almost 38 at egg retrieval. We obtained two healthy embryos, one of whom became our baby boy. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the finance department did not always seem organized. Dr. Barton, however, takes excellent care of you. Look at her patient success rates; by live births, she leads nearly or all other fertility doctors in Colorado.

This was not a good experience for us personally. During a 5-minute conversation with Dr. Barton, we felt heavily pressured toward IVF. We went on a friend's recommendation but were very dissatisfied with the $400 consultation. When follow-up labs were needed, I waited for insurance to take effect, then was told they run the labs in-house for $660 because their lab does not accept my insurance. Asking them to send the orders elsewhere was a hassle. I eventually called my obstetrician for help with repeat bloodwork, and they sent it to Labcorp within 5 minutes. The nurse sent me a lab request marked self-pay, and when I asked her to add my Labcorp insurance information, I never received a response. I remain grateful to my obstetric clinic, which helped without hesitation because of CCRM's lack of competence. For a company intended to support people facing infertility, they seem more focused on collecting money. At my last visit, someone helping at the front desk showed no understanding and was very cold about what insurance covered. I am not stupid; I know things cost money. But anyone working on the front line needs compassion. I canceled all future appointments and will seek help from another company.

CCRM helped my husband and me create the family of our dreams. Dr. K, the nurses, and the entire team are the best you could find. Based on our prognosis, we proceeded directly to IVF and had a very successful cycle. Our first transfer gave us our beautiful son, and I am currently waiting for signs of life after our second transfer. Our results are not uncommon at CCRM; they help build families.

I previously had a consultation and fertility screening with Dr. Laxmi Kondapalli as a second opinion, after visiting another exceptional clinic. I was also evaluated at Conceptions and by Denver fertility physician Dr. Albrecht. The first thing that shocked me was that the clinic staff refused to provide my own test results before a follow-up consultation with Dr. Kondapalli, explaining that they would only disclose the results during a brief 30-minute follow-up appointment. I am very familiar with medical tests and how to interpret them because I had undergone them twice before and hold a degree in molecular biology, so I had to insist that the clinic release my own test data. This seemed absurd because it was my test data and I should have the right to access it at any time. Second, when I finally had the follow-up consultation, I felt that Dr. Kondapalli had barely considered my options before almost immediately pushing IVF. Her communication style made me uncomfortable. At one point she became upset and told me she had spent many years and a great deal of money attending medical school so she could become an expert. This felt very uncomfortable because all I wanted was to ask informed questions about my indicators and probabilities if I pursued IUI versus IVF. Furthermore, the clinic's procedures seemed excessively rigid. For example, I recently asked to see another doctor at the clinic because I was dissatisfied with Dr. Laxmi Kondapalli. I was told this was not possible, which is very awkward given how many doctors they have. The administrator said the request would need to be reviewed and approved. Considering CCRM's very high prices, this made no sense. The administrator was also almost rude while speaking with me. Overall, I believe CCRM has higher success rates, but I do not feel they necessarily care for or respect patients.

At least after reading other reviews, I do not feel so alone, but it is very upsetting to see that CCRM has taken advantage of so many people with fertility problems. At my initial consultation, which lasted about 15 minutes, the doctor was so cold and made me feel terrible. I held back tears and could not wait to leave the room, reconsidering whether I should even try to become pregnant after her opening remarks. I paid the full appointment fee ($375) because they said that if it was covered by insurance, they would bill the insurer and reimburse me. When my insurance covered most of the appointment and I owed only $60, they charged me another $60 on top of my original full payment. When I called for a refund because I had essentially been charged twice for one appointment, I was given the runaround for three weeks before finally contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge. Their billing department is supposed to be open from 8 to 4, but even after calling every 20 minutes starting at 8 a.m., I did not reach a person until around 10:40. Good luck getting anyone to answer after 12 p.m. Every time I called, they said, “We can take down your information and get back to you,” but no one called back. I must have left more than 10 voicemails and given the front desk my name and phone number more than 5 times, yet no one followed up after 3 weeks. In short, I was charged $435 for a $60 appointment that lasted only 15 minutes, with no help getting my money back. This whole thing is an absolute scam. Go somewhere else for your fertility care!

What a chaotic, terrible experience and a complete waste of time and the $375 consultation fee. When I tried to request a refund after we canceled the appointment, they transferred me to a voicemail system that did not allow messages and then disconnected the call. After scheduling the consultation, they could not obtain the correct documents or information. I called and spoke with someone 4 times and was told someone would call me back to correct the errors. I did not receive a call until the day of the doctor's appointment, and the information was still wrong. If they cannot handle basic matters such as the correct name and communication, I would not trust them with an expensive, important procedure.

The clinic seems more focused on profit than patient care. I recently completed all my testing at another clinic, but they would not accept it and wanted me to repeat everything for more than $4k. The blood-test prices were absurd. According to the price list they sent me, they also charge extra for every small item. The care fees are ridiculous. Dr. Lakshmi was also somewhat cold and condescending about my egg count, while another doctor said it was appropriate for my age. Not good at dealing with cynical doctors when you are in a vulnerable position.

Without Dr. Barton's support and knowledge, we would not have our perfect daughter after four years and nine failed attempts. We look forward to our next transfer!

The staff and doctors here are friendly and knowledgeable, but anyone considering this fertility facility should note that CCRM's laboratory currently does not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. This results in about $20,000 in out-of-pocket laboratory costs per IVF cycle. Posted in February 2025. I hope they change this in the future!

It is honestly difficult to put into words how frustrating our experience with CCRM has been. Over the past few years, we have dealt with many problems—billing issues, mishandled insurance, and poor communication—and it is clear that the company cares more about making money than caring for patients. The billing process has been a constant headache. We are frequently overcharged, and then it takes months of back-and-forth to receive a refund. They charge as though you have no insurance at all, and they always wait until the last minute to submit prior authorizations even though our insurer advises submitting them early. We are currently fighting them because they completely forgot to submit the latest prior authorization and instead simply charged us the self-pay rate as though their mistake were our fault. Communication is no better. Everything is handled through their app, which feels more like an advertising platform than a patient care tool. Half the time, we feel as though we are searching through spam for important information. I have tried to provide feedback about how they could improve, but they do not seem interested. I was directly told that their policies could not be changed, which is disappointing when you are simply trying to improve the situation for yourself and other patients. For a clinic that is supposed to be so professional, it is shocking how poorly they handle the basics. If you are considering CCRM, I strongly recommend exploring other options first.
    Jul 12, 2025
Although we were only overcharged once, we ultimately had a baby with CCRM's help. The nursing and physician teams are hardworking and focused on results, so do not worry about the poor experiences you may have with the finance department or at your initial infertility appointment, as legitimate as those concerns sound. No matter how bad the Google reviews about billing are, they will deliver results.

I deeply regret choosing CCRM. The staff are rude and communicate poorly. They inflate laboratory prices, charging two or three times as much for the same tests that other laboratories perform for less than half the price, while requiring you to use their lab and pay out of pocket. The staff claim that their lab is somehow superior and more reliable than others, but they cannot provide any evidence. They also could not give me a medical reason why certain laboratory tests were required and could not be waived. It essentially felt like their way or no care at all. This does not resemble patient-centered or personalized care. It is shameful that CCRM bullies people who are vulnerable and urgently need help.

Go elsewhere for fertility care. As many have mentioned, CCRM feels more like a corporate factory than a professional medical provider. They are rigidly committed to their own processes, do not take time to communicate difficult news with compassion, and seem unable to think creatively about paths forward beyond IUI or IVF. I had to fight constantly for answers, often spoke with unqualified and seemingly untrained nurses, and was extremely dissatisfied with how little time or care two different doctors gave us during our meetings. I conceived naturally only after stopping treatment at CCRM, which I attribute to the stress they caused at every step.

Seeking fertility treatment is a very vulnerable and trying experience. I had a wonderful experience at CCRM with the best outcome - my daughter who was born this October (2024). Dr. Kondapalli and her team took such great care of me and my husband. Appointments were extremely efficient, the nurses and phlebotomists (who you will spend the most time with) are warm and helpful, and Dr. Kondapalli offered her expert care through each phase of the process, remaining direct and honest about my chances of success. I personally appreciated using the app to communicate with the staff. They were extremely responsive to my messages, and it was always helpful to have a record of responses (eg reminder about my medication doses) if I had any questions or concerns. I was lucky to have Progyny coverage provided by my employer to help with the costs. Using Progyny, in addition to my regular insurance, made for a seamless financial experience, as well. I’m so grateful to have had access to some of the best fertility medical treatment in the country.

I have been receiving treatment here for only two months and have already encountered three billing errors: One bill was sent to me even though insurance had paid it in full. Another was for laboratory testing that should have been fully covered. The third time, I was charged again for something I had already paid for personally. These repeated errors are extremely frustrating and show a serious lack of attention in the billing process. As a patient, it is exhausting to keep identifying and resolving problems that should have been handled correctly from the start. When administrative errors occur this often, it makes me question the overall quality and reliability of the care. I sincerely hope the clinic takes this seriously and improves its billing accuracy, because trust in healthcare begins with the basics. Despite the billing process needing serious improvement, I gave three stars instead of one because the nurses respond promptly on Salve and someone at the front desk always answers my calls.

CCRM changed my life. Through their expertise and care, they helped me overcome fertility challenges and worked with me throughout. They are compassionate and very kind. Dr. G is the best! He is knowledgeable and understands patient needs very well. My nurse Annika at Avista supported me from IUI through the period afterward. She is the best, and I could not have done this without her support. I highly recommend CCRM, especially the Avista location.

My IVF journey was terrible from the start. IVF requires many medications. My nurse, Abby, made me feel like a burden whenever I asked additional questions about the medications or schedule. It is important to know what you are injecting, but although this was my first time, she became angry when I asked for clarification. At the beginning, I discussed my medical history with Dr. Sara Barton and told her I had previously been treated at another IVF clinic. We did our first transfer and PGT testing, but the transfer failed. My mother, who is not a doctor, reviewed my previous IVF results, researched everything online, and discovered that I have factor V Leiden. When I told the doctor, she said she had not known and wanted to use Lovenox for the next transfer. This upset me because it should have been identified before the first transfer. I had two good eggs, so in my view one was wasted. She should have gathered this information before my transfer, but ultimately it felt like a business. I told her I had attended another IVF clinic and had sent her those records. This should have been caught. She asked me to resend them, but the office repeatedly said they had not received them. I brought them to the clinic and immediately received a call from Ruby in medical records, who said they could not use them because they were expired. I explained that Dr. Barton wanted them only to confirm factor V Leiden, which is genetic and does not expire. She simply repeated that they could not use them. I was furious because the doctor herself had requested the records. A manager later explained that they needed an official report. That was reasonable, but simply saying they could not use the records without explaining why was not acceptable. They also do not give you embryo photos like other clinics. My first transfer procedure was pleasant. They showed my husband where to stand so he could hold my hand throughout, and used a curtain to protect my privacy. The ultrasound technician applied considerable pressure, but it was not severely painful. During my second transfer, the ultrasound technician, Quinn, judged me as soon as she entered. She said, “Today I’m going to see how strong I am.” She lifted my abdomen, something no ultrasound technician had ever done, then told me to hold it. She leaned over me and pressed as hard as she could, causing unbearable pain. Because of Quinn, I remained in pain after the transfer, which had not happened before. The doctor told her she was standing in the wrong place; she adjusted and found the correct position. The doctor said she was practicing by inserting an empty catheter. Practicing what? Were they inexperienced? She then repeated it with the embryo in the catheter. There was no reason to make a woman who had already endured so much undergo an unnecessary extra insertion just for practice. The door opened several times while my legs were spread and I was exposed, with no curtain. The only compassionate person in the room was the embryologist, who checked on me after everyone else left. Quinn made my husband move away so he could not comfort me. They had told us we could take a photo of the embryo on the screen after insertion, but they left early. Quinn said the doctor did not want to miss another appointment, so again it felt like business; they were clearly running late and compromised my physical and emotional well-being. I am extremely angry with this place. This was our final transfer here. Do yourself a favor, do not come here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the beginning, Dr. Kondapalli showed genuine care and empathy toward my husband and me. She took time to listen to all our questions and concerns, and her thoughtful, detailed responses brought us great comfort during such an uncertain and emotional journey. Most impressive was the personal connection she built with us; she always addressed me by name, a seemingly small gesture that made every interaction meaningful and human. Her kindness, professionalism, and empathy had a profound impact on us, and we are deeply grateful to have worked with her as we pursued our dream of building a family.

I have been trying to schedule a fertility consultation, but no one seems able to help me. When I was younger, I considered becoming an egg donor with them, so I am already listed as a patient in their system. They want me to pay an additional fee to become a patient again, even though I was never actually treated as one. They could not explain how or whether insurance would be billed, so I did not know how much they would charge my account. I had to call 4 times before anyone would discuss scheduling because they could not agree whether I should book as a new or existing patient. They kept transferring me and leaving me on hold. If scheduling a consultation is this difficult, I cannot imagine how stressful and disorganized actual treatment would be. By the end of my 4th call, I was crying. I will not call again.

We love CCRM! Thank you for everything you did to help us have our daughter. Dr. Barton was excellent—very practical, but we needed a doctor, not a therapist—and the nurses were angels who cried and celebrated with us and offered tremendous support. We had an excellent experience. The situation itself was difficult, but knowing we had the best care made it better. Thank you for everything.

Like many other reviewers, we had communication and billing problems throughout treatment. One Sunday I had to rush to a specialty pharmacy for extra medication because it had not been ordered on time, even though the injections were time-sensitive. We had to prepay most costs, then found duplicate charges for treatments already paid for. We did not consistently work with the same nurse, and staff often did not know what others had said, sometimes giving conflicting instructions. There was even an error in our egg-retrieval preparation. Fortunately, I remembered that another nurse had previously said the opposite and asked the nurse to confirm the instructions with the doctor. The clinic is clearly busy but appears indifferent to the patient experience, as similar negative reviews continue without improvement. IVF is difficult enough without these added problems. My wife cried several times, not because of treatment itself, but because of unexpected or inaccurate bills, mistakes, conflicting directions, and missing instructions. We raised these concerns with the clinic manager, but nothing changed. If we could start over, we would choose another clinic.

Dr. K is very kind and approachable. After our first unsuccessful treatment at Shady Grove, we switched to CCRM. We had a very poor experience at Shady Grove, so we hoped for better results at CCRM. We are very glad we made that decision. Our second cycle, and first at CCRM, was very successful! I found CCRM more personal and understanding, with a more sensible process. Their app is convenient, and someone always responds quickly to answer questions.

This was an absolutely terrible experience. Starting three weeks before my consultation, I received repeated emails and calls urging me to complete forms. After completing 13 pages, I received 12 more forms that I was initially told did not need to be completed before the appointment. Then, three days before the appointment, they said I had to complete them or pay a $200 rescheduling fee. When I finally saw the actual doctor, the whole process felt humiliating and like a complete waste of time. They showed almost no compassion. They dismissed everything my OB-GYN and primary care doctor had told me without explanation, and ultimately turned me away.

I contacted the clinic twice this week to schedule an appointment with a physician referral. First, the phone system is terrible. Everyone who answered sounded muffled, and I repeatedly had to ask them to speak more clearly or loudly. Second, I was transferred to 6 people within 12 minutes while trying to schedule as a new patient. Each time I said I needed a new-patient appointment, I was transferred to someone who said they handled existing appointments only. Everyone seemed friendly, but if they cannot even schedule an appointment, it is difficult to feel confident in the clinic’s service.

Always warm and friendly. I froze my eggs several years ago and have now returned for IVF. Dr. K is highly skilled, and all the nurses and staff are wonderful.

    Excellent service and clear explanations.

I completed two egg-freezing cycles at CCRM’s Lone Tree and Denver locations, and both experiences were excellent. Everyone was professional, efficient, and compassionate. I felt fully supported and informed throughout the process.
    May 15, 2026
Absolutely terrible practices. Even if you call several times about payment, they send you to collections after 90 days and never return your calls. Communication during egg freezing was also very poor. You are treated as just another patient to rush through their system, not as a person.

laughable phone service. they never answer their phones, and once they do, they transfer you non-stop between departments until you get so fed up with no one helping you, you choose it's not worth it to put up with this poor of service on something as important as fertility.

I called many times to make an appt, got cut off twice, and never received a call back. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. I am going to go with someone else with better customer service.

Dr. Surrey did an excellent job explaining the process and setting expectations. Everything afterward was a failure. I would not recommend this business to anyone. As others have noted, the finance staff are dishonest, and you should not trust anything they tell you. They had our insurance information for two months and even told us we had coverage, then handed us a huge bill and tried to convince us we had no coverage elsewhere and should pay and continue with them. Their estimate was over $30-40k. No medical facility should perform a procedure without first disclosing the cost. They lied and then lied more. It is not only about the money... save yourself the heartache. Do not go here. We did in fact have excellent coverage, and another Denver provider worked with us very well. I am glad we left. We found another Denver provider who was amazing at every step.

Dr. Ehrhart is wonderful. Unfortunately, the finance and billing departments are such a nightmare that I went to another clinic. It would have helped if they had told us that although the clinic is in-network, its laboratory and surgery center are out-of-network. This would have been good to know before traveling to Denver for one-day testing. There are some excellent people in billing and finance, but everything is so fragmented that it takes multiple calls to accomplish anything, and portal messages about these topics go unanswered for weeks. People undergoing IVF do not need this added stress. I hope CCRM improves. Edited to add: CCRM asked me to contact them, but I have done so many, many times without a response, and my voicemails have not been returned. I recently spoke with an operator who said she would ask a manager to contact me. That was a week ago.

I highly recommend CCRM for both donors and recipients! Over years of experience with my process, I have encountered nothing but professionalism, kindness, and education. The staff make you feel comfortable and confident about what is happening. If you have doubts about the process, I recommend proceeding. Whether you are a donor or recipient, every step here makes you feel like family.

Dr. G is a genius. Do not waste valuable time and money elsewhere. I am kissing my beautiful, perfect baby girl as I write this review—priceless!

I am sharing my experience at CCRM, which I initially hesitated to post in 2022 when we were trying for a second child. I arrived for my fifth IUI, but it was canceled because my husband's sperm had zero motility. I was surprised because no one had informed me beforehand. The nurse said my husband may have lost some of the sample during collection. At home, he told me he had not lost any semen and everything was collected in the dish. I emailed the clinic with questions and received a very rude call from the nurse in charge. She said my husband had selected “yes” on the specimen dish indicating possible sample loss, which was clearly a mistake. How can someone like this work there? The person collecting the sample never mentioned anything to my husband. I asked whether the laboratory could have made an error—we are all human and perhaps it was accidentally spilled. Her tone was extremely rude, and she refused to consider anything about it. According to her, that was impossible because two people handled the sample. I do want to say that Dr. Ehrhart was excellent. After this disappointing experience, I ended my relationship with CCRM and pursued IVF in Europe. Surprisingly, my husband's sample, collected one week after the initial zero-motility result, showed perfect parameters. Given the short interval, my European IVF doctor thought this was highly unlikely and essentially agreed that CCRM may have misled us about his results. Avoid disappointment and understand that this institution puts profit before people. Compared with our European experience, the contrast in care was striking. Our coordinator there even cared for our older child while we were tested, allowing us to focus on the appointment. It was also much more affordable.

I was traumatized by my IUI. Today was my first intrauterine insemination, and they inserted the speculum 3 times because the catheter would not pass through my cervix. The second speculum was metal, and I screamed in pain. It was the worst pain and experience of my life. I began shaking and crying. The third was a small plastic speculum like the first. The nurse then found another nurse to help, and the second nurse passed the catheter through my cervix in under 30 seconds. After being unable to stand because of the pain, I could not move. I could not eat all day afterward and kept crying and shaking. I did not wake until 3 a.m., still crying and shaking. I do not know what to do. Update: The doctor called and took full responsibility. He explained that medical procedures sometimes do not go as smoothly as hoped. If I have another insemination, he will perform it. Simply speaking with him made me much calmer. They offered to examine me for pain, but I only had cramping, which is normal. I think much of it was a hormone-related reaction.

We could not have asked for a better experience. We worked with Dr. Surrey and his team. Our primary nurse, Meaghan, was exceptional, and I cannot imagine going through this process with anyone else. We will always be grateful to CCRM and everyone who helped!

CCRM has the kindest, most genuine staff! I traveled from 3.5 hours away in Kansas and never doubted that the journey was worthwhile. They communicated quickly and helped ensure that my care plan ran smoothly even from another state. I live in a very rural area, yet their organization and planning never faltered as they scheduled and shipped medications and other essentials to me. From the front desk and nurses to the technicians and even the woman at the kiosk, we felt at home whenever we spent the day there!

The doctors are amazing! The staff are not very friendly. Priscilla, the receptionist at the front, is curt and rude and does not let you speak. She becomes frustrated easily when you ask questions. Five years ago, I froze my eggs because I was about to undergo chemotherapy for breast cancer at age 29. I have been trying to contact the financial department to find out what I can do about my bill and learn more about donating my eggs to someone in need. I have been trying to make an appointment, but they will not allow me to come in because I owe them money. I did speak with a nurse once, and she was also not very friendly. When I asked about egg donation, she sounded almost exasperated, which made me feel very uncomfortable and somewhat guilty. I simply want to discuss my situation with someone so I can make a plan :( Could someone please call me back, speak to me kindly, and help me make a plan?

My husband and I had the best experience at CCRM! Everyone we saw and spoke with was very friendly and helpful. I actually enjoyed our full day of appointments :)

The reason I will never return is that during the IUI procedure, the provider wiped me with a tissue. They touched me in a way that made me extremely uncomfortable. Why not hand me the tissue?

I would give zero stars if I could. I ultimately did not see a doctor here because the entire onboarding and scheduling experience was so unpleasant. My initial conversation was brusque and focused mainly on the $375 consultation fee, the $250 cancellation fee, and all the documents I had to complete before the appointment. As someone in my thirties who had just learned that I might not be able to build a family, I would expect people working at such a clinic to be trained to show empathy and compassion and to consider the grief and pain of the woman on the phone. Instead, I felt as though I were ordering chicken nuggets at McDonald's from an untrained teenager whose only concern was taking my money. I will look for another clinic to discuss my fertility options.

I give CCRM 5 stars or more. Wonderful doctors and staff—I would say they are the best in the world. My doctor, Sarah Barton, thank you so much for everything you did ❤️ She is an amazing doctor 👏
    Jan 24, 2025
The service and courtesy on the phone and when scheduling were terrible. I called four separate times, and each interaction was cold and unconcerned. They disconnected me 3 times while saying they were waiting for the schedule to load. They did not ask for my phone number, so I had to volunteer it. Most of the time, they put me on hold without saying anything. When I finally managed to book an appointment on my fourth attempt, after about 30-40 minutes for a simple scheduling task, they did not even thank me. I will not use this service or clinic again. I encourage you to go elsewhere because their service staff do not care, and I imagine their doctors do not either. If the doctors do not understand this, they need to enter another field.

I am having my transfer in a few weeks and wanted to write a review in advance in case things go well, because I am sure it is easy to forget the earlier experience once pregnant. Pros of CCRM: - They diagnosed my husband's antisperm antibodies when other clinics missed them - Their laboratory is reportedly one of the best (I have a neighbor who works in the industry) - The staff is generally kind, especially all the women in the ultrasound room and at the front desk (shout-out to Jewel) - The nurses respond through the portal, and the NP may be the most informative provider I spoke with in person - Two egg retrievals went smoothly, and the operating room staff was excellent. However, the retrievals were the only time a treatment provider obtained genuine informed consent. Cons of CCRM, based on my experience as a patient and medical professional, an NP: - Care is not personalized; you are mostly treated like a number - There is a lack of informed consent, including discussion of risks, benefits, alternatives, and shared decision-making. An MA obtains “consent” before procedures, which is outside their scope of practice and even outside an RN's scope - I mostly just received prescriptions without instructions or information about what they were for - Forms were provided for signature without an opportunity to ask questions. I had to watch YouTube videos to learn how to take most medications. Only for the trigger shot did an RN discuss how to do it with me. I have worked in medicine since 2010 and do not know how a layperson manages all of this. - The protocols seem outdated compared with other clinics I have seen - Providers are not current on treatments supporting egg quality, such as NAD infusions, red light therapy, and others - When I brought new research or journal articles to discuss with my doctor, I was told he did not have time to read them - At age 38, when I underwent egg retrieval, I had to conduct extensive research myself to support egg quality. I was given nothing, including CCRM's own acai protocol, which I found online myself (more below). If this helps others, I was 38, with AMH 3.8, FSH 6.7, and AFC 16–20. My first retrieval produced 22 eggs, 10 sent for testing, all abnormal. For this cycle, I did everything CCRM advised, including stopping all supplements except prenatal vitamins. This is not medical advice, but before my second retrieval, after extensive research, I added acai, NAD infusions and injections, a higher ubiquinol (CoQ10) dose, nightly red and near-infrared light therapy on my lower abdomen, a ketogenic diet, NAC, and glutathione—essentially anything I could find to support mitochondrial function and proper cell division. I continued these through retrieval and did not stop during stimulation. About 8 weeks separated retrieval #1 and retrieval #2. The second retrieval produced 26 eggs, 16 fertilized, 12 sent for testing, and 5 came back normal (euploid). This may be entirely coincidental, but it may also reflect everything I did to support egg quality and cell division. My personal outcome is still to be determined, but as a medical professional and business owner, I believe they have substantial room for improvement. This is especially true given that this is essentially concierge medicine, with most of us paying more than $30,000 out of pocket per retrieval. I have spent about $60,000 so far, and the transfer will cost another $60,000. I strongly recommend joining Facebook groups and Reddit and finding other women who have gone through this. They may be more helpful.

If I could give CCRM zero stars, I would. The onboarding process is a nightmare. Before contacting them, I made sure that the doctors were in-network with my insurance, I checked procedure costs to make sure they'd be covered, etc. I provided my full insurance information at intake, filled out over 20 pages of medical history forms, signed numerous forms, and spent over an hour on the phone after they didn't save my credit card information and cancelled my first appointment for not having a card on file (even though they could see that one had been provided). My partner jumped through all the same hoops on his end, and we thought we might finally be getting somewhere. FINALLY, once everything is done and we have mentally and financially prepared ourselves to drop $20k, I get a message 3 business days before my appointment to let me know that they actually don't work with my insurance at all, so payment IN FULL will be due at the time of service, for which I am 100% responsible. I will forever take my business and my money elsewhere, because this many problems this early in the process is a clear sign of disreputable business practices. There's a reason why their own CCRM fertility group members go on and on about how awful the billing department is, how often they see fraudulent charges popping up on medical bills, etc. There's a reason why their rating with the Better Business Bureau is an F (and also why CCRM refuses to address any complaints with them). Literally just go anywhere else, I could not recommend this place any less.

A warning for anyone interested: I have BCBS insurance, and both the physician and medical facility appeared as preferred in-network providers, but the laboratory and surgical center were out of network. Surgical and laboratory fees will make up most of your costs, will be reimbursed only at out-of-network rates at best, and reimbursement may be limited to your insurer's allowed amount. In other words, your out-of-pocket costs will be much higher than at a facility that accepts your insurance for all services. The medical team is excellent! Their research is first-rate, although I remain skeptical of the açaí study. They can perform more advanced procedures such as PICSI, IMSI, and IVM. If you already plan to self-pay, I highly recommend them. If you want to use your insurance meaningfully, go elsewhere. Edited response: There was no problem with the billing department; they are straightforward once you meet with them. The lack of transparency lies in the limited laboratory and surgical coverage when your insurer identifies the doctor as in network.

The billing department is completely overwhelmed. I have left several messages in the pharmacy portal and called them to explain discrepancies in the charges, even though we were supposed to pay our insurance deductible when beginning IVF. Now we have received additional bills. They truly need to address this. Try to avoid CCRM.

My wife and I had the best experience at CCRM in Lone Tree. The staff were professional and punctual, and every procedure was handled with exceptional care. I especially want to thank Emily, whom I believe was a nurse, for staying with us on the day of my wife’s egg retrieval. I cannot praise her enough. Her bedside manner, reassurance, and care instructions made my wife feel as though they had been lifelong friends. Thank you so much. She will never forget it. Well done, CCRM!

I have been with CCRM Lone Tree since 2020 and have successfully completed two egg retrievals and two transfers. I am now preparing for my third transfer and trust that I will once again be in the care of excellent doctors. From the beginning, their team has consistently listened to all my questions and concerns and provided attentive care and service. I recommend CCRM to anyone going through this journey. I was initially treated by Dr. Schoolcraft and am now under Dr. Surrey's care. Both are highly professional and attentive to every detail. I am deeply grateful for their expertise, care, and support throughout the process.

I had an excellent experience with my ultrasound and hysterosalpingogram (HSG) at the Lone Tree clinic. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and highly professional. Most impressive was the exceptional medical care: everything was handled precisely and thoroughly, with clear communication that made me feel confident and well cared for. The clinic itself was welcoming, clean, and organized. I sincerely appreciate the excellent medical care and the team’s attentiveness throughout my visit.

I have had an excellent experience at this clinic while working with Dr. Barton and nurse Bridget to conceive with donor sperm. My medical situation is complex and prevents natural conception, but this clinic has given me hope. Dr. Barton is knowledgeable and candid. She took time to understand my history and ensured I received comprehensive testing and appointments to maximize my chances. Bridget has been kind and prompt throughout, usually responding within 24 hours and sometimes the same day. Although I have been very anxious, this clinic has made me hopeful about becoming pregnant again and feel genuinely well cared for. Thank you, Dr. Barton and Bridget!

After a very difficult experience at another fertility clinic, meeting Dr. Surrey and coming to CCRM restored my hope in fertility care. Before CCRM, I completed a full stimulation cycle at another clinic, but both transfers failed. The clinic management’s lack of professionalism, compassion, and empathy, together with poor communication and general disorganization, left me physically and emotionally exhausted. When I transferred to CCRM, I was discouraged and doubted whether the experience could be different. CCRM was completely different. From my first contact, the clinic’s precision, attention to detail, and professionalism immediately reassured me. Dr. Surrey and his entire team—including nurses, phlebotomists, and ultrasound technologists—treated me with kindness, respect, and compassion at every stage. They made me feel valued, supported, and genuinely cared for, rather than like another patient on an assembly line. Under Dr. Surrey’s care, I completed a stimulation cycle and a natural conception cycle, which my previous clinic had insisted could never succeed. During the natural cycle, I felt much better, and the process was smoother, less stressful, and physically easier. I had fewer symptoms, less pain, and much less anxiety. Simply coming to CCRM changed my outlook and helped me regain positivity during an often overwhelming journey. Dr. Surrey is exactly the physician you need on this journey. He is data-focused, thoughtful in his recommendations, and extremely knowledgeable, while also approachable, kind, genuinely caring, and humorous in a way that eased some of the emotional weight. Most importantly, he cared not only about my success, which was the priority, but also about my overall health and well-being—something not always found at other clinics. I have recommended CCRM, especially Dr. Surrey and his team, to three women in my circle and will continue to do so without hesitation. If your current clinic leaves you disappointed, overlooked, or exhausted, know that a better experience is possible. CCRM has set a new standard for fertility care.

CCRM is the best fertility clinic! Dr. Von Wald is the best doctor I have ever met! She supported us throughout the entire process. She always explained everything clearly and cared not only about helping us achieve our dream, but also about protecting my health. When vaginal medication irritated my skin, she even changed my prescription. When we faced difficult situations, she always checked on us and made sure we completed every necessary follow-up on time. Dr. Von Wald is a loving doctor who truly cares about her patients! No other doctor compares! Megan R. was our nurse and was incredibly warm. Whenever I had many questions, she always responded promptly. She never made me feel embarrassed for asking. She always ensured that every appointment was properly arranged. I have never had such an outstanding nurse. She helped us through difficult times and ultimately achieve our goal. The other nurses were also wonderful, including Sarah, Brenda, Erin, Kendra, and Nicole. The nurse practitioners were wonderful too!!! The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Their laboratory is also first-rate! I am now 10 and a half weeks pregnant! Thank you, Dr. Von Wald and Megan R., for making our dream come true!

This is the best IVF clinic in the world. Their protocols and treatments surpass every other clinic. Dr. Barton is the best physician. I am a physician myself, and she is the most thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable, and skilled doctor I have met. Her ethics, manner, and patient care are exceptional. She made me feel completely at ease and confident that my IVF journey was in the best hands. I trust her expertise, and her gentle technique is remarkable. My nurse, Tracy, was kind and sincere. She even made a last-minute appointment possible, for which I am deeply grateful. I feel very fortunate to be a patient at CCRM Lone Tree. I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone beginning a fertility journey and have already recommended it to others. I truly understand why it is considered the world's leading IVF clinic. When other CCRM clinics are unsuccessful, patients are sent to CCRM Lone Tree. It is the flagship IVF clinic, and its care, treatments, and protocols surpass those of other IVF clinics worldwide.

We are endlessly grateful to Dr. G and to CCRM LT for helping us welcome our little angel. After our local clinic told us we could not have a biological child, we contacted CCRM in Colorado. We had little hope, but CCRM not only fulfilled our wish; they exceeded every expectation. The nurses and all the staff were kind and attentive. Their first-rate laboratory was crucial to our infertility treatment. Dr. G is highly knowledgeable, skilled, and quick-thinking, with fresh insights. If you want a team that can address all your concerns, CCRM LT is the place to go.

After three failed IVF cycles at a clinic near home, we were ready to give up. Thankfully, a friend from my gym shared her fertility journey and led us to CCRM. I live in Ohio and thought starting over at an out-of-state clinic sounded crazy, but I am so glad we went. I am writing this while holding my four-month-old baby. We would not be here without CCRM's wonderful doctors. I am grateful I did not give up. Staying positive after three failed cycles was extremely hard, but CCRM gave me hope and confidence in the physicians. They provided answers my previous clinic never did and always made me feel heard. Thank you to every doctor who helped us have our sweet baby boy!

We had an excellent experience at the clinic, in sharp contrast to a disappointing experience at another clinic in Fort Worth. We were happy to travel specifically to Colorado to see this doctor. Even while waiting, it was clear that people came from around the world for care here. Two close friends in Texas had tremendous success at this clinic. Although there is also a CCRM in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, they insisted that we come here because of the outstanding laboratory and excellent doctors. After all, this was where the clinic's founder practiced before retiring. As I understand it, this laboratory is far superior to those at other CCRM locations. Everyone we met was highly professional and impressively capable. Our nurse, Katie, was amazing. Our genetic counselor, Carly, was outstanding—talented and genuinely caring. She listened carefully to our concerns. Dr. Gustafson was also dedicated and compassionate. When he sat down to speak with us, he was not distracted by other tasks; he listened attentively and showed genuine care and empathy. There was a great deal of testing and information in one day, which could be overwhelming. Yet we never felt like a cog in a profit-driven machine. This human-centered care was refreshing and genuinely heartwarming. Although I am not a veteran, I noticed signs saying that the clinic offers substantial discounts to veterans. I appreciate that patriotism 🇺🇸.

I would not recommend CCRM. Everything related to billing is terrible. Despite having all the required information, they failed to process our claims through insurance. If you need to contact the billing department to discuss an issue, good luck. You wait 20 minutes for someone to answer, get transferred to voicemail, leave a message, and never receive a return call. I may have spent 3 hours trying to reach them. When I finally did, they told me to contact them through a portal—not the portal where we had already registered to view test results, but a separate billing portal. The medical care itself was barely acceptable, although the statistics the doctor provided did not match anything we had previously researched. After our testing, they said a nurse would contact us, but no one ever did. Given the poor service, we decided not to continue treatment with them. Very disappointing.

I had an excellent experience at CCRM! Every staff member I met was kind, professional, and genuinely wanted me to succeed. When my first protocol did not work well, Dr. von Wald adjusted the second, with much better results. The clinic is welcoming and clean, and its thorough pre-screening supports treatment success. I would recommend it to everyone. Special thanks to Dr. von Wald and my nurses Kendall and Erin, who always responded quickly and promptly.

I truly cannot express how grateful I am to CCRM Fertility CO. From egg retrieval to transfer, everything went very smoothly and professionally. Dr. Robert Gustofson was wonderful—calm, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. My nurse Lexi was incredibly helpful. She was always there when I needed her and answered my questions quickly and thoroughly. All the nurses were supportive and responsive. The financial team was also excellent. Insurance can feel overwhelming, but they explained everything clearly and made sure I understood every step. The front desk team was always welcoming, friendly, and organized, and the patient app made everything very convenient—you can message nurses, view results, and stay up to date. As someone who is not American, I greatly appreciated their clear communication. I never felt lost or confused. This was truly one of the best healthcare experiences I have ever had.

This place is a joke. The scheduling hoops and million apps is unbelievably inconvenient… oh and after waiting months to speak to a provider my appointment suddenly disappeared from the Salve app at the time I was scheduled to join… I had sent several emails to them about the confusion it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone and the TL;DR is I do not trust this business. I do not trust these people. How dare they waste my time after waiting several months to see a provider. Save yourself the time and the heartbreak….. Go somewhere else…..

After several failed IVF attempts at other clinics, Dr. Robert Gustofson gave us an exceptional experience. One previous doctor retrieved only one egg, and another retrieved none. Dr. Gustofson retrieved 32 eggs, 14 of which developed normally—an incredible result for us. We are sincerely grateful for his knowledge, experience, and attentive care throughout treatment. He restored our hope after earlier disappointments. We deeply appreciate his professionalism and highly recommend him to anyone pursuing fertility treatment.

The medical team is warm, attentive, highly skilled, professional, caring, and compassionate. I wish everyone could experience care here; this is what healthcare should be.

The customer service staff were arrogant and unhelpful. Do not choose this company.

CCRM is good, but not every doctor is. We tried multiple cycles using the same protocol each time, and the doctor did not even review or discuss why they failed.

Dr. Kondapalli is one of the best doctors I have worked with, if not the best. As a physician myself, I have very high healthcare standards. I found her after a highly respected physician colleague recommended her following a successful healthy pregnancy. I live out of state, but traveling to work with Dr. Kondapalli was completely worthwhile. She exceeded all my high expectations. This was my second IVF experience; the first was not positive. My first retrieval produced only 8 eggs and 3 embryos. Those results are not terrible for many IVF families, but 8 eggs were disappointing for someone relatively young, healthy, and without fertility issues. From the beginning with Dr. Kondapalli, it was clear that I was receiving a different level of expertise—like moving from softball to the major leagues. She retrieved 28 eggs, 22 of which fertilized. This excellent result was entirely due to her unmatched attention to detail, careful monitoring, and skillful adjustments. Beyond her clinical skill, I strongly recommend her because she genuinely cares about you and your outcome and goes above and beyond to help. Because of scheduling, another undoubtedly skilled CCRM doctor was to perform my retrieval. I had traveled from out of state specifically for Dr. Kondapalli and was understandably upset that the person I trusted would not perform this crucial step. When I told her, she did something I will never forget. She arranged for the operating room to admit me early and came to perform my retrieval on a day she was not scheduled at that location. She arrived around 6 a.m., then traveled to the other site for her normal workday. I will never forget her kindness and selflessness, and I recommend her wholeheartedly.

We were very fortunate to find Dr. Kondapalli. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. She never rushes appointments, explains every detail, and cites current research and evidence for her recommendations. Her procedural skills are excellent. Her clinic and the entire CCRM system run smoothly like a well-oiled machine. Everyone communicates well, and her nurses promptly answer questions through the patient portal.

Dr. Kondapalli is amazing. After a terrible experience at another clinic, she took time to explain her different approach. She scheduled a regroup to ease my anxiety. My results at this clinic improved greatly. The clinic is very clean and efficient, like a well-oiled machine!
