Dr. Kurt Peterson, D.O., FACOG, joined  the Advanced Fertility Care team in January 2023 and practices at the Glendale and Scottsdale locations. He chose to pursue medicine due to his passion for helping others and his desire to serve others in a unique and fulfilling way. He was attracted to the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility because of the hope it offers to families struggling with infertility. He is dedicated to providing the best care for his patients and helping them achieve their dreams of starting a family.

I aim to provide straightforward and truthful information to allow patients to make informed choices, all while offering empathy and highlighting the hope offered by the diverse treatment options available. Together, my patients and I find the best path for their unique journey.”

Dr. Peterson obtained his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, OH, and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Cincinnati. 

He is board-certified by AOBOG and FACOOG in OB/GYN and REI, respectively. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) since 2016 and is also a member of other professional organizations such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG), and American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Throughout his career, Dr. Peterson has completed several research projects in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His research interests include PCOS and genetics as well as the natural history of endometriosis, among others. He has received several awards and honors for his research, including the Chairperson’s Research Award from the University of Cincinnati's OB/GYN department and a sizeable Research Grant from Ferring Pharmaceuticals for his work on an endometriosis mouse model. 

Dr. Peterson’s vast expertise covering a range including fibroids, minimally invasive surgery, PCOS, endometriosis, social egg freezing, oncofertility preservation, third-party fertility treatment, male infertility, and LGBTQIA family-building, aids in his ability to provide personalized care and identify the best paths forward for his patients’ individual situations. 

When not providing expert care to his patients, you can find Dr. Peterson enjoying outdoor activities, including cycling, hiking, dirt bike riding, water skiing, and snow skiing. Or sometimes also in the house working on improvement projects, automotive repair,  playing the guitar, and spending quality time with his family.

I requested an appointment online to get started. A few days later, I received a very strange call explaining that an initial virtual consultation to discuss goals and treatment would cost $300. There would be no testing or examination; the $300 was solely for a discussion. I have no words for this model of care. I have never felt more like a provider's potential profit than a patient seeking help.

My care team was wonderful. My patient coordinator, Brenda, was very thorough and accompanied me throughout the process. Sandra at the front desk was always very kind and courteous when I checked in. Kelly performed most of my ultrasounds and was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout. Finally, whenever I met with Dr. Zoneraich, he was very kind and remained positive throughout the process. Follow the doctor's recommendations! Despite having no fallopian tubes, I am now nine weeks and five days pregnant with my first child.

I never leave reviews, but AFC is amazing. I can say that now because I am 11 weeks pregnant thanks to this team. We began the process 1.5 years ago. Dr. Larsen was highly informative and detailed throughout. The staff are very friendly. I felt welcome at every appointment, and they answered all my questions. Brenda was my patient navigator, and she was incredible. She was always available to answer questions and kept me informed about laboratory results, medications, and everything else. Highly recommended.

Oh my goodness, I do not know where to begin! Dr. Larsen and my care coordinator, Kristin, have done an outstanding job caring for me over the past 3 1/2 years, and I cannot thank them enough! Kristin has been excellent at scheduling appointments, answering every question, and providing tremendous emotional support throughout the past 3 1/2 years. She has cheered me on for three and a half years, and we are now six weeks and two days pregnant with our baby boy. This office exceeded my expectations ♥️🥺. I was told I graduated today, which was a bittersweet moment. Thank you, Dr. Larsen and Kristin, for everything you have done for my growing family ♥️

My wife and I came to AFC to build our family. We did reciprocal IVF: her frozen eggs were fertilized with donor sperm to create embryos, and an embryo was then transferred to me as the carrier. We are now 9 weeks pregnant! :) The AFC staff were extremely helpful at every step. We encountered a small setback when I needed a uterine polyp removed, and three different people contacted me later that day to check on me and explain the upcoming procedure. During a long and sometimes uncomfortable process like IVF, it was reassuring to feel that everything was under control. Our navigator, Valeria, contacted us often, and we were never unsure what would happen next. She was very encouraging and kind and truly gave us peace throughout the process. Kelly was an excellent patient care assistant who made sure we felt heard and cared for at every office visit. All our experiences at the Scottsdale Surgery Center—egg retrieval, hysteroscopy, and embryo transfer—were also wonderful and uneventful. We were sad to leave when we graduated last week. This was a precious time, and we are very grateful to AFC for the excellent care and loving support.

My appointment was at 2:15, but on arrival I was told it had been canceled. They said they did not contact me because they planned to text, but I had opted out of texts after receiving 4 at work within two days. They did not call or email, causing both my wife and me to waste a day off. They said they canceled because I had not completed all portal documents before the appointment. We had completed everything except 2 forms I did not see and was never told had to be completed beforehand. They gave away my appointment, yet no one came in during the entire time I was there, and they could not fit me in. Because I did not do their receptionist's job—portal paperwork—they canceled and admitted they did not notify us, then blamed me for opting out of texts. Since when must I text a doctor's office and do all the paperwork myself? Their attitude toward patients is ridiculous. They can make us miss work and cancel without notice, but if you are 5 minutes late, they say you wasted the doctor's time and cancel because apparently their time is more valuable than mine.

What a joke. After going back and forth about the doctor's orders, the woman scheduling me confirmed the date, time, and test. This was after I had to call because I was told to book online. Guess what? There was no way to do so. They called and guided me through the “problem.” My appointment listed the cost difference between two products and confirmed the test and price. Fast-forward to two days before the appointment: 6 minutes before the deadline, they said they had to cancel because I booked the wrong test. I said their employee had confirmed it and quoted the price, but they replied that it was wrong and I had to cancel or reschedule. I called, and they agreed it was their responsibility, but said I had to speak with another team member to confirm the appointment. I was still on hold 26 minutes later. Before they transferred me, I asked them to confirm I could keep the appointment, because otherwise I could schedule somewhere better organized. “Yes, sir, you will be able to keep the appointment.” Still on hold after 27 minutes. Who wants to bet I lost the appointment they scheduled for me??? What a joke!

The waiting room was very clean and felt calm from the moment I entered. The front desk receptionist was very polite and greeted my husband and me as soon as we came in. The wait was not long, which is convenient for people visiting during work hours.

Highly recommend AFC!! We tried for about 4 years and saw different fertility doctors before finally finding AFC. Once we began working with them, everything went smoothly! At no point did I feel that things were complicated or difficult. The practice has an excellent structure and assigns you a dedicated staff member to assist throughout the process. You can text them directly, and they reply quickly. They address your random questions and schedule appointments when needed. They have an active patient portal and provide results as soon as they are available. All these small things create a level of convenience that you usually do not experience at other practices. I was fortunate to have one son through IVF, and another son is on the way. Dr. Zoneraich was wonderful to work with, and the staff were excellent!

I cannot express how incredible this team is... Dr. Larsen was always willing to explain everything and make sure we were on the same page at every step. You can truly tell that he cares about the people he meets, and I highly recommend him. At the beginning of our IVF journey, we struggled to find a place where we felt comfortable and valued until we found AFC. From program coordinator Brenda to physician assistant Kelly and everyone in between, we always felt that our journey mattered to them too. I am happy to say that after 3 years of trying naturally, my wife is now 11 weeks pregnant. We could not have done this without this outstanding team of doctors and medical staff, and I am very grateful we found them. Thank you, AFC!

The best. I cannot imagine a better fertility clinic. I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of this place. The staff are exceptional and caring, the facilities are very clean, and everything runs efficiently. The absolute best part is that you are assigned a ‘navigator’ from the beginning. This person is always available to guide you and answer questions by text. It completely changes the experience. I always felt very well supported. I had 2 procedures, an IUI, and IVF here and am very happy with the results 🌈🤰

I wholeheartedly recommend Advanced Fertility Care! After two long and difficult years of infertility, my husband and I decided IVF was our best option. We had a wonderful experience at Pinnacle Fertility in Tucson. First, they offer a military discount, which we always appreciate. Second, every staff member was welcoming, helpful, and understanding. We live 1.5 hours away and brought our toddler to every appointment. We worked with Dr. Zoneraich and our navigator, Diana, who were both very supportive and answered all our questions. I also want to give special thanks to the laboratory team, especially Steven! He is very knowledgeable and encouraged us to have one embryo biopsied again, which revealed another healthy embryo!! We successfully conceived our second baby and are now near the end of the first trimester. We are very grateful for everything Pinnacle Fertility Tucson did for us. I highly recommend that anyone trying to conceive contact them! Thank you again for creating another little miracle!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Before coming to Pinnacle Fertility, I completed three unsuccessful medicated cycles with my regular OB-GYN. It was exhausting and discouraging. Everything changed when I chose Pinnacle Fertility. Through comprehensive testing and a personalized treatment plan, they tailored care to me, and I am now officially 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant after my second TIC cycle! Dr. Larsen is highly knowledgeable and compassionate and always explains every step patiently. My care team—Kelly, Kirsty, and Abbey—was also wonderful. They supported me at every appointment, arranged immediate visits whenever I felt I needed one, patiently answered every question, and made me feel that I was not alone. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful! This clinic was the best place we could have chosen for our journey to parenthood.

My husband and I are very HAPPY with ADVANCED FERTILITY CARE. Our treatment was very successful, and I became pregnant with twins after the first treatment. We visited several locations, and all the staff were very kind. They made us feel truly cared for. They always answered all our questions and concerns, and the doctors were always very clear and kind. Every staff member knows their job well and always greeted us with a smile. Dr. Peterson was everything I hoped for in a fertility specialist. His practical approach and genuine care were vital during such a challenging journey. I had previously visited another highly ranked local IVF clinic, where the doctor was overwhelmed trying to handle everything alone. At Pinnacle, experienced team members manage different aspects of care, creating a much better patient experience. The front desk and billing staff were always organized, prepared, and welcoming. This was my first IUI attempt and my first experience with any stage of pregnancy, and I could not imagine better guidance. The entire team was helpful and answered every question patiently and kindly. They kept me informed, which made me feel safe and reassured throughout. Special thanks to the front desk staff, who were warm from the moment we entered. Tanisha greeted me enthusiastically at nearly every visit, and her warmth meant a great deal. The clinical staff was equally excellent, and my coordinator Karina always helped without hesitation. As a same-sex couple, we knew success on the first attempt could be challenging, but with this team's support and care, we succeeded on our first try. I am so thankful to this clinic for helping us through a difficult journey. I am especially thankful to Dr. Peterson and Sandra as they really helped guide the process. Also the front desk staff at Glendale were so nice. I don’t remember her name unfortunately but she was so so kind. Also, the phlebotomist was amazing and I was never nervous for a blood draw with her there. Allison is also one of the nicest people and ALWAYS made sure my procedures were comfortable. I really trusted her when I saw she was doing the procedure if my doctor wasn’t able to. Thank you to all the staff again! We are so excited!

Our IVF journey began in May 2025. We were assigned to Dr. Peterson and Dr. Leah, who served as our guide. Their communication and quick responses were excellent throughout the process. Every staff member we met was kind and respectful. Everything went smoothly without any issues. We were very satisfied with our first IVF experience. There are not enough words in English to express how grateful my husband and I are that we chose Pinnacle Fertility for the best medical care and success in building our family. Dr. Zoneraich is simply the best and does everything possible to help people realize their dream of having a family. Not only did we have a successful frozen embryo transfer (FET) and welcome our son, but I am now pregnant again! Dr. Yanely gave me tremendous reassurance and expert guidance through both cycles. The front-desk staff were always warm and friendly at every appointment. LaRue (I hope I spelled her name correctly?) always helped me relax during blood draws; she is highly skilled and reassuring. I previously attended another fertility clinic with very disorganized management, and the experience here was completely different. They were ready immediately for every blood draw and ultrasound. My longest wait was only five minutes. The clinical staff were also very kind and compassionate when sharing sensitive results and information. $300 for a consultation alone 🫩😳 I had successful IVF in Henderson, where the doctor did not charge a consultation fee, so this was very strange. His fees were somewhat higher, but worth it. I only tried this clinic because it was closer to us. Unfortunately, I do not want to spend $300 just to speak with a doctor and then pay thousands more. Thank you for returning my call, though.

Brenda has been my fertility coach since 2023. I experienced a miscarriage, successfully froze one embryo, then conceived and delivered naturally while the embryo remained in storage. I planned to transfer it but became pregnant again. Brenda has stayed with me throughout, talking with me, reassuring me, and continually encouraging me. Dr. Peterson and his entire team were outstanding and patiently guided us through the whole process. Dr. Peterson does not push any treatment he does not believe is right for us. The team communicated closely with us by text and through the patient portal, keeping us informed about the next steps. IVF is known to be expensive and requires a financial commitment, but the team always told us in advance how much the next payment would be. They also accepted our Health Savings Account (HSA). The Glendale location was very convenient for us, and they made sure most of our appointments could take place there. We are very grateful to Dr. Peterson and his team. We could not have asked for better care than we received at Pinnacle Fertility, at both the Glendale and Scottsdale location. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff, PAs and doctors that helped us throughout our fertility journey. Our navigator, Diana, worked tirelessly to answer all of my questions and never seemed as if anything was an imposition. This is our second experience with Diana, as she was our navigator back in 2024, which resulted in our baby girl! Fast forward to 2026 and baby number two, Diana remained patient, professional, and responded promptly throughout the entire experience. I really appreciate the kindness she showed during a time that can be very stressful and challenging. Lexi (medical assistant?) is AWESOME, kind, compassionate, and caring. She is able to connect and build relationships with patients, making you feel comfortable at each appointment. In my twenties, after experiencing infertility for nearly two years, my doctor referred me here. Everything went well at first: they performed basic testing and responded promptly to messages, and I was satisfied. However, after three failed IUI attempts and a diagnosis of "unexplained infertility," I never met with an actual physician for a consultation or any diagnostic evaluation. I only saw mid-level providers. My final IUI was extremely painful because the mid-level provider performing the procedure had graduated only a few months earlier yet was allowed to do it alone without supervision. They planned to start me on IVF, but I decided to consult another clinic. After seeing a doctor just once at the new clinic, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I nearly spent thousands of dollars and risked wasting healthy embryos on transfers simply because they labeled me with "unexplained infertility" after only the most basic diagnostic testing. If you are over forty and just need some help becoming pregnant, this may be the place for you. But they use the same treatment plan for everyone and do not consider each patient's individual circumstances.

The problem with this clinic is Dr. Zoneraich: he is always rushed, communicates very little, and worst of all, recommended an egg donor for my wife. He showed no empathy for the psychological distress experienced by parents facing fertility problems. A terrible doctor. We were among the fortunate people who conceived on the first attempt, and I believe Dr. Larsen and his staff made that possible. Both the Glendale and Scottsdale locations are excellent. I would 100% recommend them and plan to return for our next child.

I was scheduled for an HSG test at this clinic on 2024/1/16. This was our second attempt to schedule the test. The first was at the Chandler location, where they canceled at the last minute after confirming with us only hours earlier. They called to ask whether we wanted a consultation, which we declined because we wanted to start only with the HSG. We suspected it was canceled because they wanted to make more money. When I asked why, they said the doctor had to make a change, after I had taken a day off work. We decided to schedule at the Scottsdale location. My husband and I were frustrated but still gave them a chance, although we had reservations because it felt as though they cared only about money. We have insurance and scheduled at Scottsdale. We did not want to pay more than $300 for a consultation; we wanted to focus on the HSG first and proceed from there. We spoke with them more than 5 times to ensure there would be no billing surprises. The self-pay price for the HSG was $460.00. We verified this, but during some conversations something seemed wrong. They kept saying the insurance had not been verified. We repeatedly called for confirmation. They said it was the beginning of the year and might take time, but told me to pay $460.00 regardless and that if the insurance was confirmed, they would refund the balance. We felt something was wrong, so we called our insurer and explained what was happening. The insurer offered to call Advanced Fertility Care and verify coverage with them, but Advanced Fertility Care refused, saying they could not do so because their paperwork was behind. On 1/16, I had only the HSG test, with no consultation. I again asked the front desk about verification, and they told me not to worry. I called for three weeks, and they finally told me to stop calling and wait. I received two questionable bills, one for $328 and one for $560. Naturally, we were upset and hoped they would resolve it. Instead, I was told with an attitude that we had to pay. The woman in billing said they charged what insurance allowed. I did not sign a document saying I would pay $460.00, and my husband was also there. They never asked us to sign or explained anything. We contacted them to ensure we were covered, and they knew what they were doing. She said the charges were for the HSG test and the facility. The consultation fee was what we had declined from the beginning. We are grateful for electronic systems that can record calls. Our goal is not to make the clinic look bad, but to ensure they do not mislead others. Please monitor your bills carefully and keep copies of everything. It is unfair to face this kind of stress and misleading billing while trying to become pregnant. The room was very clean, and the person who performed my test was very kind and friendly. That is why I hate writing this review. Once the issue is resolved, we will gladly remove it.

AFC was an amazing experience for us! We had worked with Dr. Drew Moffitt at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists and did not have a good experience. We were told we had no chance of having our own child and that I needed donor embryos. We wanted a second opinion and gave Dr. Kurt Petersen a chance; he exceeded our expectations. His bedside manner was excellent, he was punctual, and he understood our situation. We ultimately had a successful embryo transfer within one cycle and have just delivered our healthy baby. We are very grateful that Dr. Petersen went above and beyond and gave us a chance. Trying to conceive is difficult enough and is emotionally taxing, as anyone reading this can understand. The navigators are truly lovely. We worked with Alyssa, who was wonderful. I appreciated how she guided me through everything. I am a Type A person, so I asked her for a tentative schedule to know what to expect. Thankfully, she was patient and kind enough to call and explain my expectations in detail. I am very grateful. AFC's billing was somewhat delayed. Again, I am a Type A person who prefers to know costs in advance and when prior authorization will be requested from my insurance. Payment was the most stressful part of IVF for me. My employer has fertility coverage, and I preferred to have all charges processed through insurance before paying out of pocket, rather than seeking reimbursement. I had worked with another fertility clinic that understood the insurance process, and its billing department gave me tips about what to expect and how to avoid out-of-pocket costs. I could not have everything when changing fertility clinics. Overall, the experience was excellent. Working with Dr. Petersen and Alyssa was wonderful. Our baby was conceived with our own sperm and eggs, and the outcome was perfect. I will update this review again after our second attempt at the next transfer.

Last year, I received care from Dr. Z at Advanced Fertility Care, which has locations in Scottsdale and Glendale. I interacted with all the doctors and PAs along the way. Brenda was my navigator, and she was wonderful. The entire experience from start to finish was five-star, without a single misstep. As an NP, I cannot express how significant that is. While under their care, I experienced an obstetric emergency unrelated to their treatment. They monitored me very closely and made sure I received everything I needed. I am now nine weeks along with my baby boy. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you.

The medical staff are wonderful. The billing department is a complete joke. You receive random bills for amounts that were never quoted, agreed to, or expected. If you question why you must pay an unquoted charge, they say they will stop providing services unless you pay. After spending $20,000, it feels like extortion.

Words cannot fully express how wonderful my experience was under the care of Dr. Larsen and his Advanced Fertility Care team. From the moment I contacted the office and connected with Brenda, who became my nurse coordinator throughout IVF, I immediately felt reassured and welcomed. During my first virtual appointment, I spoke one-on-one with Dr. Larsen, and it was clear that his knowledge and clinical manner were first-rate. In fact, every doctor, PA—especially Allison—nurse, phlebotomist, embryologist, anesthetist, billing employee, and other team member I encountered was exceptional in skill, patient communication, and care. Before coming to this clinic, my journey had been extremely difficult and involved rare diagnoses, providers who lacked diagnostic knowledge, and poor communication and compassion for what I was experiencing as a patient. This had made me a very anxious patient, and Dr. Larsen and his entire team treated me with grace and compassion. I never felt that my concerns were dismissed, foolish, or unresolved. I will never forget this team and will always be grateful to every one of them—not only for their efforts to grow my family, but also for the genuine personal concern they showed regardless of the IVF outcome. I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone needing a team that will fully support them through their fertility journey, however unlikely or discouraged they may feel. Wonderful staff! My husband always faints and feels terrible after blood draws. I explained our concerns, and the staff let us remain in the room while he recovered. They provided cold compresses, sugary drinks, and food to help manage his blood pressure and checked it before we left. Everyone was extremely caring and kind! Thank you! 🙏🏼

New review, 2025/2/10: In 2024/6, I completed an authorization to release all my records. The form is valid for one year from the signature date. On 2025/2/10, I messaged them to request images they had not provided and was told, for no reason, that I had to complete a new authorization. They cannot even read their own form, which says it is valid for a full year. They are a terrible organization! I completed the form and requested additional information so I would not have to interact with them again. ****************** Original review: This company recently took over my fertility doctor's practice in Tucson. Since then, there have been major, unexpected changes in costs and treatment plans. Since the takeover, I have noticed a major change in the feeling and atmosphere of his office. I no longer feel like a patient or that AFC understands every family's fertility journey is different and should be treated accordingly. I am now forced either to pay $585 or more each month, including 1-4 or more clinic visits and 1-2 laboratory draws monthly, or find another clinic in Phoenix that accepts my insurance. I drive 90 minutes each way to see my doctor. Phoenix is a 3-hour drive each way. It was unacceptable to receive this information in the middle of treatment, and only because I contacted them to say my period had started. My clinic staff also told me they did not even know my insurance would be dropped until the merger/acquisition documents were signed. That seems... wrong. They have now caused significant additional stress, when should you not have less stress while trying to become pregnant? I only hope they reach an agreement with my insurer or get it to approve direct reimbursement. The vice president of operations was negotiating at the time of this review. If that happens, managing what feels like a million appointments may be possible. As things stand, the many appointments and unexpected costs feel like a slap in the face.

Dr. Z is a wonderful physician who thoroughly explained every treatment option and possibility, which greatly helped me make decisions. He is highly knowledgeable, and you can feel confident entrusting your treatment to him. Allison is very kind and answers every question. She guides you step by step through each cycle and ensures you are fully comfortable with treatment. Even in stressful situations, she made me feel at ease. The nurses are very caring, make you feel at home, and listen carefully to all your questions and concerns. My coordinator Brenda was wonderful. She kept me updated on treatment progress, responded very quickly, and ensured I always understood the next steps. When you first start searching for the best clinic for your IVF journey, it can feel overwhelming and even frightening. You do not want to choose the wrong one. You want the best care, especially when paying entirely out of pocket. This clinic is amazing! Dr. Peterson was my primary doctor and everything I wanted in a physician. He is kind, understanding, and direct. He always outlined my options and explained why one might be preferable to another. When I was anxious, he took my calls and helped me avoid rushing decisions. Although I was not their primary patient, they always made me feel like their most important patient and patiently answered all my questions. With the help of Dr. Peterson and the Pinnacle Fertility team, my wife and I successfully conceived two children! We had a wonderful experience and recommended them to friends and family, who also had children through Pinnacle Fertility. My wife and I both underwent egg retrievals, several IVF cycles, and several IUIs. The fertility navigators and excellent staff made an otherwise difficult experience feel manageable. We got to know the people who worked there and felt cared for like friends. They are very LGBTQ-friendly, and our interactions were extremely positive—something that disappeared after we transferred to an OB-GYN. I am writing this review only after completing treatment at Pinnacle Fertility in Arizona and consulting legal counsel. Errors and failures in the clinic's medical care directly caused serious complications requiring emergency hospitalization and surgery. These outcomes were not unforeseeable; they resulted from shortcomings in care, communication, and oversight. Care coordination was clearly inadequate during and after this medical emergency. Critical information related to informed consent, treatment decisions, and ongoing care was delayed, changed after the fact, or provided only after I submitted a written complaint. When complications occurred during treatment, I did not receive the medical support I should have received. Instead, I encountered administrative disorder and a lack of clinical accountability. Rather than providing corrective or continuing care, the clinic terminated my treatment. This decision was made while I was recovering from surgery, delaying necessary follow-up care, coordination, and resolution of pending treatment matters. Interrupting care at such a critical time compounded the harm. Billing and reimbursement issues also reflected these broader failures. Verbal commitments were later reversed in writing, requiring escalation to enforce arrangements that had already been approved. Fertility treatment carries significant medical and ethical responsibilities, especially when a patient has been harmed. In my experience, this clinic failed to meet those responsibilities. I will not return or recommend it.

Horrible company to be a surrogate for, I supposedly got denied because I didn’t pass my psych test. They claimed that they would explain why I didn’t pass. I have explained to Kellie Kraus. That I have passed a psych test in less than a year for a different company and she didn’t care. She didn’t even bother pulling medical records or anything. Such a waste of time and horrible staff doing the psych test, be prepared to started your meeting more than 10 mins late & not get your results for anything.

I had my first IVF cycle two years ago and miscarried at 12 weeks. I later returned to this IVF clinic for a second embryo transfer, and this time it worked! I had a baby boy. The clinic was very transparent about costs, insurance coverage, and the entire process. I loved their scheduling system because it helped me coordinate my cycle around work. I really liked the clinic staff, including the coordinators I never met in person. They were very helpful in answering any questions throughout the process. I think this clinic did an excellent job. Depending on my schedule, I saw different clinicians, including doctors and physician assistants. The program was well organized, the clinicians were highly skilled, results were communicated promptly, and the coordinators provided strong emotional support.

There was nothing unpleasant about this experience. From the beginning, everything was explained very clearly, and we learned about all the available options. The navigator service was definitely one of the best parts of the experience. Kirsty was truly outstanding. She was always kind, supportive, and helpful. She followed up after every visit and provided tremendous help with everything from developing the treatment plan to answering questions. I will really miss the navigator service when we transition to obstetric care. During our time at the clinic, we met every doctor there, and they were all excellent. Physician assistant Allison was also wonderful—she patiently answered all our questions and was very understanding. Today we officially transitioned to obstetric care, and I will truly miss this team. If we decide to have another child in the future, I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Larsen and his team for my fertility care. Throughout my treatment at AFC, the entire clinic team was kind, caring, compassionate, and supportive. My nurses, Hannah and Allison, were always kind and gentle during visits. The embryologists and medical assistants were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I was of advanced maternal age (41) and had never been pregnant. He gave me honest facts about the success rates for my individual circumstances, with no false hope or sales pressure. Dr. Larsen, Hannah, and Brenda are my dream team! My PCP, who had personally used them, originally recommended them to me. I could not be happier! From the initial consultation through a successful pregnancy, they were wonderful, personable, and thorough. Brenda was absolutely the best at answering all my questions. Although I knew she had many patients, she made me feel like her only one. Hannah always made me feel reassured during appointments and ultrasounds, and hearing her voice was comforting. Dr. Larsen is the best. You can tell he knows what he is doing. He explained the entire process, including the issues we were most likely facing, and reassured us about all the options available at the clinic. After 2.5 years of infertility, our first medicated cycle succeeded! They let us choose the approach we wanted and never pressured us one way or another. We will return without question.

First, the nurses are very kind, and Dr. Larsen is knowledgeable and provides extensive information to support balanced decisions. They appear to conduct considerable research and continually develop new techniques based on current findings. In my experience, their embryo handling was flawless. There are some things I wish I had known before using Advanced Fertility. The time between IVF transfers is long. My transfer failed in September/early October, and I did not begin a new transfer calendar until January. I only know that other clinics have faster “turnaround,” and this added substantial disappointment and waiting to an already difficult time. I also wish I had known how the clinic's finance department operates. You never meet finance staff in person or speak with them by phone. One or two days before an appointment you waited months for, they send the full amount you must pay. When there was a large difference from my initial quote, I could speak only with front-desk employees. They would consult finance and return, making you feel like a burden and that finance would not take time to deal with you. They offer no payment plans and very little flexibility for charges you may not be prepared to pay. I was given one week to try to add more money to my HSA to complete payment. In addition, when I overpaid, it took 5 months to receive the money back. Refusing to discuss the heavy financial burden of these procedures directly is disrespectful. When you have concerns or questions, you receive a high quote and are passed around. This is only one business aspect, but it tarnishes an otherwise excellent clinic.

I moved here from out of state and was preparing for my second embryo transfer. This clinic does not run smoothly. The nurses are very kind, but the front-desk staff have difficulty explaining what is happening. They charge amounts different from what they quoted and schedule you at the wrong location. Given the cost of IVF, I would research before scheduling with this clinic. I found another fertility clinic in Gilbert that charges half as much for the same services and seems more competent in its practice. Everything at my previous clinic was always smooth and professional, so my experience at this clinic was very unpleasant.

After struggling with secondary infertility for years, I entered Advanced Fertility Care nervous and afraid to hope, but the staff were all so positive. I looked forward to every ultrasound with Hannah. Dr. Zoneraich was always upbeat, and after my first appointment I could not wait to begin my first cycle. My fertility consultant Yanely was absolutely the best and always reassured me whenever I had questions or felt anxious. From consistently caring for and listening to patients, to the wonderful staff and smooth communication, the entire experience was excellent. Dr. Larson was our primary doctor, and we also met Dr. Z once; both were wonderful. Most of our time, however, was spent with Hannah or Abby and the midwives—Lilly, Kaelyn, Taiya, Clarissa, Isabel, and Tess—who are unquestionably the best. AFC's support staff are what make it so excellent, and graduating from the clinic was very emotional because they had accompanied us through so many challenges. Yanely was also my main coordinator and was very warm and friendly. Everyone celebrates your successes and shares your setbacks. Wow! Where do I begin? My wife's and my fertility journey at Pinnacle began with a failed intrauterine insemination (IUI). We had previously tried at another fertility clinic in Scottsdale without success. Most importantly, we found that Pinnacle took our concerns seriously and explained step by step what IVF would look like if the IUI failed. As women of color and members of the LGBTQ community, finding a provider willing to take the time to understand our needs was essential. When my wife began IUI treatment, Dr. Larsen was honest that the procedure had a low success rate. We appreciated his candor because our experience at the previous clinic was the opposite: they left us uninformed about IUI and forced us to prepare financially in advance in case it failed. Dr. Larsen patiently explained the entire process step by step and answered all our questions. We received all the billing information, and a year later we began treatment. Dr. Peterson successfully performed the embryo transfer, and now we have a healthy, beautiful daughter. To anyone reading this, especially members of the LGBTQ community, if you are looking for a safe, unbiased, professional, and experienced fertility care team for IVF, this is the place. Be sure to follow medical instructions closely, eat a healthy diet, reduce stress, and have the right support system. Yes, it is an investment and we all hope for results, but the reality is that you also need to do your part. After the transfer, listen carefully to the aftercare instructions. This is essential. Take your injections on time and things will go smoothly. Every woman's body is different, but it is also important to do your part. My wife and I are truly delighted that they helped make our dream come true, and if we have the opportunity to have another child, we will definitely return. Every staff member was wonderful. I never encountered anyone unfriendly or whom I disliked. I always felt exceptionally well cared for, and being able to text my navigator directly throughout the process was absolutely essential. It is a great service.

Our experience at Pinnacle was seamless and exceeded our expectations. Because of a move and insurance coverage issues, this was the third clinic my husband and I had worked with. We had a consultation at the first clinic, completed diagnostic testing at the second, and finally came to Pinnacle to begin treatment. We worked with Dr. Kurt Peterson, and I would recommend him without hesitation. He is knowledgeable, approachable, and easy to communicate with. I had complete confidence in him as our reproductive endocrinologist. Two other essential team members were Hannah at the Chandler clinic and my patient navigator, Sandra. I cannot say enough good things about either of them. Hannah was the clinician for most of my appointments, while Sandra was my contact and coordinator. They made the process much easier. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions, and they always listened carefully. Being able to contact my navigator easily between appointments was wonderful and was not offered by the other clinics I had consulted. We are now expecting our first child, thanks to this team. If you are looking for the right fertility provider, I highly recommend considering Pinnacle.

I cannot say enough good things about Pinnacle Fertility. They are so kind and compassionate while you navigate such a difficult fertility journey. Every member of the care team is highly professional. You are assigned a fertility navigator who answers all your questions. I frequently texted mine, and she was always understanding and never made me feel like a bother. Nurse Hannah performed most of my ultrasounds and intrauterine inseminations (IUI). She was warm and approachable, and you could tell she truly cared. My primary physician was Dr. Peterson, but I also had great experiences with the other three doctors. I am so grateful to everyone at Pinnacle Fertility!

The staff at Pinnacle Fertility are wonderful and made a difficult medical experience more bearable. My coordinator, Savannah, was very patient and kind. The nurses were excellent and knowledgeable. Everyone I met at the front desks in Chandler, Scottsdale, Glendale, and Tucson—and I visited them all—was wonderful. Margaret is the best phlebotomist I have ever met. She never misses. When you need frequent blood draws, it is wonderful not to feel anxious about them. Thank you.

Before coming to this clinic, I was at another clinic that I was not very happy with. A year ago, my husband found this clinic, which had outstanding reviews and amazing doctors. I worked with Dr. Larsen, and he is exceptionally knowledgeable, caring, understanding, and supportive throughout the fertility journey. He also has an amazing team working alongside him to ensure you are well cared for and that all your questions are answered. I spent most of my time at the Chandler location, where everyone is friendly and caring. I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone going through IVF!
