I requested an appointment online to get started. A few days later, I received a very strange call explaining that an initial virtual consultation to discuss goals and treatment would cost $300. There would be no testing or examination; the $300 was solely for a discussion. I have no words for this model of care. I have never felt more like a provider's potential profit than a patient seeking help.

My care team was wonderful.
My patient coordinator, Brenda, was very thorough and accompanied me throughout the process.
Sandra at the front desk was always very kind and courteous when I checked in.
Kelly performed most of my ultrasounds and was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout.
Finally, whenever I met with Dr. Zoneraich, he was very kind and remained positive throughout the process.
Follow the doctor's recommendations! Despite having no fallopian tubes, I am now nine weeks and five days pregnant with my first child.

I never leave reviews, but AFC is amazing. I can say that now because I am 11 weeks pregnant thanks to this team. We began the process 1.5 years ago. Dr. Larsen was highly informative and detailed throughout. The staff are very friendly. I felt welcome at every appointment, and they answered all my questions. Brenda was my patient navigator, and she was incredible. She was always available to answer questions and kept me informed about laboratory results, medications, and everything else. Highly recommended.

Thank you to the entire Advance Fertility Care team for never giving up on us and for everything you did to make our dream come true. My wife and I are overjoyed and look forward to our baby's arrival.
Special thanks to our coordinator, Brenda, who stayed with us throughout the process, was always attentive to our needs, and helped us through the darkest days.
I also want to thank Dr. Peterson, who likewise did not give up and offered alternative treatments that ultimately led to success.
Everyone at Advance Fertility Care is exceptional, and I highly recommend them.

The journey was not easy, but thanks to God and the support of Dr. Peterson and coordinator Brenda, my dream finally came true. Words of thanks cannot fully express my feelings or gratitude toward them. Throughout the process, they became part of our family. Their care and attention were exceptional, and they always treated me with love and patience.

Oh my goodness, I do not know where to begin! Dr. Larsen and my care coordinator, Kristin, have done an outstanding job caring for me over the past 3 1/2 years, and I cannot thank them enough! Kristin has been excellent at scheduling appointments, answering every question, and providing tremendous emotional support throughout the past 3 1/2 years. She has cheered me on for three and a half years, and we are now six weeks and two days pregnant with our baby boy. This office exceeded my expectations ♥️🥺. I was told I graduated today, which was a bittersweet moment. Thank you, Dr. Larsen and Kristin, for everything you have done for my growing family ♥️

My wife and I came to AFC to build our family. We did reciprocal IVF: her frozen eggs were fertilized with donor sperm to create embryos, and an embryo was then transferred to me as the carrier. We are now 9 weeks pregnant! :)
The AFC staff were extremely helpful at every step. We encountered a small setback when I needed a uterine polyp removed, and three different people contacted me later that day to check on me and explain the upcoming procedure. During a long and sometimes uncomfortable process like IVF, it was reassuring to feel that everything was under control. Our navigator, Valeria, contacted us often, and we were never unsure what would happen next. She was very encouraging and kind and truly gave us peace throughout the process. Kelly was an excellent patient care assistant who made sure we felt heard and cared for at every office visit. All our experiences at the Scottsdale Surgery Center—egg retrieval, hysteroscopy, and embryo transfer—were also wonderful and uneventful. We were sad to leave when we graduated last week. This was a precious time, and we are very grateful to AFC for the excellent care and loving support.

My appointment was at 2:15, but on arrival I was told it had been canceled. They said they did not contact me because they planned to text, but I had opted out of texts after receiving 4 at work within two days. They did not call or email, causing both my wife and me to waste a day off. They said they canceled because I had not completed all portal documents before the appointment. We had completed everything except 2 forms I did not see and was never told had to be completed beforehand. They gave away my appointment, yet no one came in during the entire time I was there, and they could not fit me in. Because I did not do their receptionist's job—portal paperwork—they canceled and admitted they did not notify us, then blamed me for opting out of texts. Since when must I text a doctor's office and do all the paperwork myself? Their attitude toward patients is ridiculous. They can make us miss work and cancel without notice, but if you are 5 minutes late, they say you wasted the doctor's time and cancel because apparently their time is more valuable than mine.

What a joke. After going back and forth about the doctor's orders, the woman scheduling me confirmed the date, time, and test. This was after I had to call because I was told to book online. Guess what? There was no way to do so. They called and guided me through the “problem.” My appointment listed the cost difference between two products and confirmed the test and price. Fast-forward to two days before the appointment: 6 minutes before the deadline, they said they had to cancel because I booked the wrong test. I said their employee had confirmed it and quoted the price, but they replied that it was wrong and I had to cancel or reschedule. I called, and they agreed it was their responsibility, but said I had to speak with another team member to confirm the appointment. I was still on hold 26 minutes later. Before they transferred me, I asked them to confirm I could keep the appointment, because otherwise I could schedule somewhere better organized. “Yes, sir, you will be able to keep the appointment.” Still on hold after 27 minutes. Who wants to bet I lost the appointment they scheduled for me??? What a joke!

Highly recommend AFC!! We tried for about 4 years and saw different fertility doctors before finally finding AFC. Once we began working with them, everything went smoothly! At no point did I feel that things were complicated or difficult. The practice has an excellent structure and assigns you a dedicated staff member to assist throughout the process. You can text them directly, and they reply quickly. They address your random questions and schedule appointments when needed. They have an active patient portal and provide results as soon as they are available. All these small things create a level of convenience that you usually do not experience at other practices. I was fortunate to have one son through IVF, and another son is on the way. Dr. Zoneraich was wonderful to work with, and the staff were excellent!

I cannot express how incredible this team is...
Dr. Larsen was always willing to explain everything and make sure we were on the same page at every step. You can truly tell that he cares about the people he meets, and I highly recommend him. At the beginning of our IVF journey, we struggled to find a place where we felt comfortable and valued until we found AFC. From program coordinator Brenda to physician assistant Kelly and everyone in between, we always felt that our journey mattered to them too. I am happy to say that after 3 years of trying naturally, my wife is now 11 weeks pregnant. We could not have done this without this outstanding team of doctors and medical staff, and I am very grateful we found them. Thank you, AFC!

The best. I cannot imagine a better fertility clinic. I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of this place. The staff are exceptional and caring, the facilities are very clean, and everything runs efficiently. The absolute best part is that you are assigned a ‘navigator’ from the beginning. This person is always available to guide you and answer questions by text. It completely changes the experience. I always felt very well supported. I had 2 procedures, an IUI, and IVF here and am very happy with the results 🌈🤰

I wholeheartedly recommend Advanced Fertility Care!
After two long and difficult years of infertility, my husband and I decided IVF was our best option. We consulted Dr. Peterson, who immediately reassured us that we had made the right decision and that his team could make our dream come true. They did! We are now expecting our baby boy and are thrilled!
Dr. Peterson is knowledgeable and professional, as well as kind and warmly humorous. He truly made our experience enjoyable!
Special thanks to our IVF navigator, Brenda. She not only helped schedule our appointments and keep us on track, but also became like a trusted friend. Her encouragement and support were especially valuable on days when I wanted to give up. She is wonderful!
I also want to mention Kelly, who was always there for us. Her bright smile and reassurance during every scan kept us optimistic about our progress. Everyone at AFC, from the front desk to the laboratory, treated us with great kindness.
If you are looking for a fertility team that combines expertise with genuine support, AFC is an excellent choice!

We had a wonderful experience at Pinnacle Fertility in Tucson. First, they offer a military discount, which we always appreciate. Second, every staff member was welcoming, helpful, and understanding. We live 1.5 hours away and brought our toddler to every appointment. We worked with Dr. Zoneraich and our navigator, Diana, who were both very supportive and answered all our questions. I also want to give special thanks to the laboratory team, especially Steven! He is very knowledgeable and encouraged us to have one embryo biopsied again, which revealed another healthy embryo!! We successfully conceived our second baby and are now near the end of the first trimester. We are very grateful for everything Pinnacle Fertility Tucson did for us. I highly recommend that anyone trying to conceive contact them! Thank you again for creating another little miracle!!

Before coming to Pinnacle Fertility, I completed three unsuccessful medicated cycles with my regular OB-GYN. It was exhausting and discouraging. Everything changed when I chose Pinnacle Fertility. Through comprehensive testing and a personalized treatment plan, they tailored care to me, and I am now officially 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant after my second TIC cycle!
Dr. Larsen is highly knowledgeable and compassionate and always explains every step patiently. My care team—Kelly, Kirsty, and Abbey—was also wonderful. They supported me at every appointment, arranged immediate visits whenever I felt I needed one, patiently answered every question, and made me feel that I was not alone. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful!
After struggling with PCOS, insulin resistance, and so much uncertainty, I finally found a team that treated me like a person rather than a number. They celebrated my milestones, comforted me through difficult moments, and helped me realize my dream of pregnancy.
If you are looking for a fertility clinic that provides expert, personalized, attentive care, this is it! Pinnacle, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my husband and me build our little family ✨

Exceptional Care Made My Dream of Motherhood Come True
Words cannot express my gratitude for the exceptional care at Pinnacle Fertility, then known as Advanced Fertility. Thanks to this outstanding team, my husband and I are finally new parents, and I firmly believe this dream could not have come true anywhere else.
Dr. Peterson was everything I hoped for in a fertility specialist. His practical approach and genuine care were vital during such a challenging journey. He honestly told me I had only one IVF cycle, while still giving me the hope and confidence to move forward. His direct yet empathetic style was exactly what I needed.
Valeria, my dedicated care navigator, deserves special recognition. She was wonderful and played an essential role through this emotional process. The care navigator role is unique to Pinnacle, and I now understand why it was part of Dr. Peterson's choice of clinic. Valeria encouraged me at every step, patiently answered my countless questions, and even cried with me when my first transfer resulted in an ectopic pregnancy. Having someone so invested beside me transformed my experience.
PA Kelly Soares performed all my ultrasounds and monitoring appointments with warmth and professionalism. She made me feel completely at ease during every visit, which was essential during the vulnerable moments of treatment.
I had previously visited another highly ranked local IVF clinic, where the doctor was overwhelmed trying to handle everything alone. At Pinnacle, experienced team members manage different aspects of care, creating a much better patient experience.
The front desk and billing staff were always organized, prepared, and welcoming. This professionalism was evident in every interaction and differed greatly from my previous clinic.
From start to finish, Pinnacle excelled in every aspect. Expert medical care, emotional support, and seamless procedures created an environment where I felt genuinely cared for both as a patient and a person.
I am extremely glad I chose this clinic and highly recommend Pinnacle Fertility to anyone facing fertility challenges. They provide more than medical care; they offer the hope, support, and expertise that help make dreams come true.

This was my first IUI attempt and my first experience with any stage of pregnancy, and I could not imagine better guidance. The entire team was helpful and answered every question patiently and kindly. They kept me informed, which made me feel safe and reassured throughout.
Special thanks to the front desk staff, who were warm from the moment we entered. Tanisha greeted me enthusiastically at nearly every visit, and her warmth meant a great deal. The clinical staff was equally excellent, and my coordinator Karina always helped without hesitation. As a same-sex couple, we knew success on the first attempt could be challenging, but with this team's support and care, we succeeded on our first try. We are overjoyed and cannot wait to meet our baby!
When we are ready for a second child, I will definitely return. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone ready to build a family. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine care made the experience unforgettable. ❤️🌈👶🏽

I am so thankful to this clinic for helping us through a difficult journey. I am especially thankful to Dr. Peterson and Sandra as they really helped guide the process. Also the front desk staff at Glendale were so nice. I don’t remember her name unfortunately but she was so so kind. Also, the phlebotomist was amazing and I was never nervous for a blood draw with her there. Allison is also one of the nicest people and ALWAYS made sure my procedures were comfortable. Dr. Z, Brenda, and the entire Pinnacle Fertility team have changed our lives in every way.
As an older lesbian couple, IVF was our only option. Without their patience, kindness, and encouragement, we might have given up many times. Brenda went above and beyond to answer our countless questions and concerns. Dr. Z and Dr. Peterson consistently provided detailed information and support throughout our fertility journey. Kelly and the nurses embraced and encouraged my wife's nervous jokes. The clinic staff always greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcome every time we walked in. We are thrilled to meet the baby we prayed for in six months, and none of this would have been possible without them. If you are considering a fertility journey, we highly recommend Pinnacle Fertility. You will receive the best care here. We understand the many complex emotions involved in this journey, so you need a practice that puts you and your family's needs first. You feel that every day with the Pinnacle team.
Thank you for making our dream come true!

There are not enough words in English to express how grateful my husband and I are that we chose Pinnacle Fertility for the best medical care and success in building our family. Dr. Zoneraich is simply the best and does everything possible to help people realize their dream of having a family. Not only did we have a successful frozen embryo transfer (FET) and welcome our son, but I am now pregnant again! Dr. Yanely gave me tremendous reassurance and expert guidance through both cycles. The front-desk staff were always warm and friendly at every appointment. LaRue (I hope I spelled her name correctly?) always helped me relax during blood draws; she is highly skilled and reassuring. Kelly and Allison also made me very comfortable during ultrasounds. Celeste and Kate are very kind and always prepared the exam room so I could feel at ease during procedures. Dr. Larsen and Dr. Peterson are excellent physicians who made me feel very safe in their care. $300 for a consultation alone 😳 I had successful IVF in Henderson, where the doctor did not charge a consultation fee, so this was very strange. His fees were somewhat higher, but worth it. I only tried this clinic because it was closer to us. Unfortunately, I do not want to spend $300 just to speak with a doctor and then pay thousands more. Thank you for returning my call, though.

I cannot recommend Pinnacle Fertility of Arizona enough. My husband and I are so grateful for the care we received during our fertility journey. While the doctors are incredibly skilled and professional, what truly set the experience apart for us was being appointed a 'patient care navigator.' Having a dedicated person, ours was Karina, I could text or call whenever I had questions made a world of difference. It turned a potentially overwhelming process into one where we felt truly seen and supported every step of the way. If you are looking for a clinic that combines medical excellence with genuine, accessible communication, this is the place. The best clinic I could have ever asked for. My coordinator, Leah, is so kind and always happy to explain things. This is my second transfer and I have been soooo lucky to have Leah as my coordinator each time. It is extremely difficult to go through infertility but these people treat you with such kindness and I truly never felt like just another number. The front desk, to the phlebotomist, PA Kelly and Dr Z, alll amazing.

Dr. Peterson and his entire team were outstanding and patiently guided us through the whole process. Dr. Peterson does not push any treatment he does not believe is right for us. The team communicated closely with us by text and through the patient portal, keeping us informed about the next steps. IVF is known to be expensive and requires a financial commitment, but the team always told us in advance how much the next payment would be. They also accepted our Health Savings Account (HSA). The Glendale location was very convenient for us, and they made sure most of our appointments could take place there. We are very grateful to Dr. Peterson and his team. Congratulations on taking the first step in finding a clinic. Your search ends here because you have found the best clinic in the Valley—Pinnacle Fertility.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. The clinic was clean and professional, and we never had to wait long. The front desk staff were always warm and friendly at check-in. Kelly Suarez was thoughtful and kind during every ultrasound. All the doctors were professional and knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed to make decisions. My favorite part was how easy it was to text the staff with questions or to schedule appointments, and they replied very quickly. The doctors pointed out the ultrasound findings and patiently explained everything. I wish they offered care throughout pregnancy, because I would definitely have stayed with them. Thank you for your help!

We could not have asked for better care than we received at Pinnacle Fertility, at both the Glendale and Scottsdale location. We are so thankful for the wonderful staff, PAs and doctors that helped us throughout our fertility journey. Our navigator, Diana, worked tirelessly to answer all of my questions and never seemed as if anything was an imposition. This is our second experience with Diana, as she was our navigator back in 2024, which resulted in our baby girl! Fast forward to 2026 and baby number two, Diana remained patient, professional, and responded promptly throughout the entire experience. I really appreciate the kindness she showed during a time that can be very stressful and challenging.
Lexi (medical assistant?) is AWESOME, kind, compassionate, and caring. She is able to connect and build relationships with patients, making you feel comfortable at each appointment. I always looked forward to a friendly, familiar face and knew she truly understood what patients go through, each step of the way.
Kelly (PA) is INSANELY smart, straight forward, and makes you feel very well informed and comfortable at each appointment. I never left having questions about my results or scans when I met with her. I knew I was in good hands any time I was under Kelly’s care. SHE IS THE BEST!!
We cannot thank Dr.Z. enough for his knowledge, efforts, and professionalism during our time at Pinnacle. Without him, baby #2 would not be possible!

I cannot praise Pinnacle's excellent communication enough. My previous clinic did not have a “navigator” like this one, with a dedicated person available every day to answer any questions. It is truly wonderful. Dr. Z was very kind and patient and made sure I fully understood everything. He even called to congratulate me after I received the news. I love this place.

I recommend this clinic without hesitation. My entire fertility treatment experience at the Glendale and Scottsdale clinics was excellent. I received professional care from day one. I especially want to thank Dr. Kurt Peterson for his dedication and professionalism, as well as my assistant Sandra, who guided and supported me through every step of treatment. They always answered all my questions patiently, which made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. The entire staff was outstanding, and the care they provided was impeccable. Thank God, I can now share that I have completed treatment and am currently 8 weeks pregnant. I am sincerely grateful to the whole team for helping me achieve this important dream. Thank you so much for your hard work, compassion, dedication, and excellent service. I will always recommend this clinic. ❤️

In my twenties, after experiencing infertility for nearly two years, my doctor referred me here. Everything went well at first: they performed basic testing and responded promptly to messages, and I was satisfied. However, after three failed IUI attempts and a diagnosis of "unexplained infertility," I never met with an actual physician for a consultation or any diagnostic evaluation. I only saw mid-level providers. My final IUI was extremely painful because the mid-level provider performing the procedure had graduated only a few months earlier yet was allowed to do it alone without supervision. They planned to start me on IVF, but I decided to consult another clinic. After seeing a doctor just once at the new clinic, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I nearly spent thousands of dollars and risked wasting healthy embryos on transfers simply because they labeled me with "unexplained infertility" after only the most basic diagnostic testing. If you are over forty and just need some help becoming pregnant, this may be the place for you. But they use the same treatment plan for everyone and do not consider each patient's individual circumstances.

The front-desk staff are unfriendly. Kelly and Allison in ultrasound are friendly and always supportive. Dr. Peterson is excellent. The problem with this clinic is Dr. Zoneraich: he is always rushed, communicates very little, and worst of all, recommended an egg donor for my wife. He showed no empathy for the psychological distress experienced by parents facing fertility problems. A terrible doctor. My wife became pregnant on her first attempt at Southwest Fertility Center in Phoenix under Dr. Gunnala and her staff. She is now five months pregnant. Thank you, Southwest Fertility Center in Phoenix, mother Gunnala... son Gunnala...

Thanks to Advanced Fertility, all its wonderful staff, and Dr. Larsen, my partner and I are expecting a child this year. The IUI process was straightforward, and everyone was very direct with us. We were among the fortunate people who conceived on the first attempt, and I believe Dr. Larsen and his staff made that possible. Both the Glendale and Scottsdale locations are excellent. I would 100% recommend them and plan to return for our next child.

I was scheduled for an HSG test at this clinic on 2024/1/16. This was our second attempt to schedule the test. The first was at the Chandler location, where they canceled at the last minute after confirming with us only hours earlier. They called to ask whether we wanted a consultation, which we declined because we wanted to start only with the HSG. We suspected it was canceled because they wanted to make more money. When I asked why, they said the doctor had to make a change, after I had taken a day off work. We decided to schedule at the Scottsdale location. My husband and I were frustrated but still gave them a chance, although we had reservations because it felt as though they cared only about money. We have insurance and scheduled at Scottsdale. We did not want to pay more than $300 for a consultation; we wanted to focus on the HSG first and proceed from there. We spoke with them more than 5 times to ensure there would be no billing surprises. The self-pay price for the HSG was $460.00. We verified this, but during some conversations something seemed wrong. They kept saying the insurance had not been verified. We repeatedly called for confirmation. They said it was the beginning of the year and might take time, but told me to pay $460.00 regardless and that if the insurance was confirmed, they would refund the balance. We felt something was wrong, so we called our insurer and explained what was happening. The insurer offered to call Advanced Fertility Care and verify coverage with them, but Advanced Fertility Care refused, saying they could not do so because their paperwork was behind. On 1/16, I had only the HSG test, with no consultation. I again asked the front desk about verification, and they told me not to worry. I called for three weeks, and they finally told me to stop calling and wait. I received two questionable bills, one for $328 and one for $560. Naturally, we were upset and hoped they would resolve it. Instead, I was told with an attitude that we had to pay. The woman in billing said they charged what insurance allowed. I did not sign a document saying I would pay $460.00, and my husband was also there. They never asked us to sign or explained anything. We contacted them to ensure we were covered, and they knew what they were doing. She said the charges were for the HSG test and the facility. The consultation fee was what we had declined from the beginning. We are grateful for electronic systems that can record calls. Our goal is not to make the clinic look bad, but to ensure they do not mislead others.
Please monitor your bills carefully and keep copies of everything. It is unfair to face this kind of stress and misleading billing while trying to become pregnant.
The room was very clean, and the person who performed my test was very kind and friendly. That is why I hate writing this review. Once the issue is resolved, we will gladly remove it.

AFC was an amazing experience for us! We had worked with Dr. Drew Moffitt at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists and did not have a good experience. We were told we had no chance of having our own child and that I needed donor embryos. We wanted a second opinion and gave Dr. Kurt Petersen a chance; he exceeded our expectations. His bedside manner was excellent, he was punctual, and he understood our situation. We ultimately had a successful embryo transfer within one cycle and have just delivered our healthy baby. We are very grateful that Dr. Petersen went above and beyond and gave us a chance. Trying to conceive is difficult enough and is emotionally taxing, as anyone reading this can understand.
The navigators are truly lovely. We worked with Alyssa, who was wonderful. I appreciated how she guided me through everything. I am a Type A person, so I asked her for a tentative schedule to know what to expect. Thankfully, she was patient and kind enough to call and explain my expectations in detail. I am very grateful.
AFC's billing was somewhat delayed. Again, I am a Type A person who prefers to know costs in advance and when prior authorization will be requested from my insurance. Payment was the most stressful part of IVF for me. My employer has fertility coverage, and I preferred to have all charges processed through insurance before paying out of pocket, rather than seeking reimbursement. I had worked with another fertility clinic that understood the insurance process, and its billing department gave me tips about what to expect and how to avoid out-of-pocket costs. I could not have everything when changing fertility clinics.
Overall, the experience was excellent. Working with Dr. Petersen and Alyssa was wonderful. Our baby was conceived with our own sperm and eggs, and the outcome was perfect. I will update this review again after our second attempt at the next transfer.

Last year, I received care from Dr. Z at Advanced Fertility Care, which has locations in Scottsdale and Glendale. I interacted with all the doctors and PAs along the way. Brenda was my navigator, and she was wonderful. The entire experience from start to finish was five-star, without a single misstep. As an NP, I cannot express how significant that is. While under their care, I experienced an obstetric emergency unrelated to their treatment. They monitored me very closely and made sure I received everything I needed. I am now nine weeks along with my baby boy. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you.

The medical staff are wonderful. The billing department is a complete joke. You receive random bills for amounts that were never quoted, agreed to, or expected. If you question why you must pay an unquoted charge, they say they will stop providing services unless you pay. After spending $20,000, it feels like extortion.
2024年9月16日
They route you to an unfamiliar call center where robotic staff simply go through the motions, regardless of what you need or are experiencing. Poor patient experience.

Words cannot fully express how wonderful my experience was under the care of Dr. Larsen and his Advanced Fertility Care team. From the moment I contacted the office and connected with Brenda, who became my nurse coordinator throughout IVF, I immediately felt reassured and welcomed. During my first virtual appointment, I spoke one-on-one with Dr. Larsen, and it was clear that his knowledge and clinical manner were first-rate. In fact, every doctor, PA—especially Allison—nurse, phlebotomist, embryologist, anesthetist, billing employee, and other team member I encountered was exceptional in skill, patient communication, and care. Before coming to this clinic, my journey had been extremely difficult and involved rare diagnoses, providers who lacked diagnostic knowledge, and poor communication and compassion for what I was experiencing as a patient. This had made me a very anxious patient, and Dr. Larsen and his entire team treated me with grace and compassion. I never felt that my concerns were dismissed, foolish, or unresolved. I will never forget this team and will always be grateful to every one of them—not only for their efforts to grow my family, but also for the genuine personal concern they showed regardless of the IVF outcome. I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone needing a team that will fully support them through their fertility journey, however unlikely or discouraged they may feel. Thank you, thank you, thank you, AFC!

After trying to become pregnant with another doctor for two years, a friend referred me to Dr. Larsen. After meeting and speaking with him, my husband and I immediately felt comfortable. He took time to talk with us and explain his perspective on everything in more detail than our other doctor had. My new navigator, Brenda, was encouraging and always responded quickly, putting me at ease about every next step. I became pregnant in less than a year. I have now graduated from the clinic and started obstetric care. I am very grateful to Dr. Larsen and his team and for the clear concern they showed for my personal journey. New review, 2025/2/10:
In 2024/6, I completed an authorization to release all my records. The form is valid for one year from the signature date. On 2025/2/10, I messaged them to request images they had not provided and was told, for no reason, that I had to complete a new authorization. They cannot even read their own form, which says it is valid for a full year. They are a terrible organization! I completed the form and requested additional information so I would not have to interact with them again.

Original review:
This company recently took over my fertility doctor's practice in Tucson. Since then, there have been major, unexpected changes in costs and treatment plans. Since the takeover, I have noticed a major change in the feeling and atmosphere of his office. I no longer feel like a patient or that AFC understands every family's fertility journey is different and should be treated accordingly. I am now forced either to pay $585 or more each month, including 1-4 or more clinic visits and 1-2 laboratory draws monthly, or find another clinic in Phoenix that accepts my insurance. I drive 90 minutes each way to see my doctor. Phoenix is a 3-hour drive each way.
It was unacceptable to receive this information in the middle of treatment, and only because I contacted them to say my period had started. My clinic staff also told me they did not even know my insurance would be dropped until the merger/acquisition documents were signed. That seems... wrong.
They have now caused significant additional stress, when should you not have less stress while trying to become pregnant? I only hope they reach an agreement with my insurer or get it to approve direct reimbursement. The vice president of operations was negotiating at the time of this review. If that happens, managing what feels like a million appointments may be possible. As things stand, the many appointments and unexpected costs feel like a slap in the face.

AFC is wonderful! Although I needed fertility treatment, I am so glad to be with AFC. Communication was excellent, especially from my coordinator Sandra. I only met my doctor, Dr. Z, once, but he also communicated well. Thank you, AFC!

This clinic is for you if you (i) enjoy excessively long wait times, (ii) like speaking with rude receptionists, (iii) want the chance to experience chaotic scheduling and missed appointments, (iv) enjoy unclear results that may or may not be provided, or (v) like overpaying for services. Yes, I encountered all of these problems.

I cannot say enough about my experience at AFC. It was a pleasure working with everyone there.
Dr. Z is a wonderful physician who thoroughly explained every treatment option and possibility, which greatly helped me make decisions. He is highly knowledgeable, and you can feel confident entrusting your treatment to him.
Allison is very kind and answers every question. She guides you step by step through each cycle and ensures you are fully comfortable with treatment. Even in stressful situations, she made me feel at ease.
The nurses are very caring, make you feel at home, and listen carefully to all your questions and concerns.
My coordinator Brenda was wonderful. She kept me updated on treatment progress, responded very quickly, and ensured I always understood the next steps. It felt like speaking with a friend because I knew she genuinely cared about my journey. The phlebotomists were excellent, and I never had any problems with blood draws. They worked so quickly that I barely noticed the blood had been drawn!
Overall, I felt respected and valued, and my treatment was personalized, which made me comfortable. I would absolutely recommend AFC to everyone.

We had a truly wonderful experience at AFC. From the beginning, we received exceptional care and support. Thanks to the high-quality care we received, our first embryo transfer was successful, and we are now 10 weeks pregnant!
It was a pleasure working with Dr. Peterson and our coordinator, Jacky. Communication was always easy, clear, and informative. Dr. Peterson truly listened to our wishes and created a perfectly personalized treatment plan based on my needs. Throughout the process, Jacky was always available, responsive, and supportive, giving us confidence and ensuring we felt well cared for at every step.
The egg retrieval was performed by Dr. Larson, a true professional. Everything went smoothly and efficiently, without complications. We also appreciated the short wait times. If a procedure did not fit Dr. Peterson's schedule, the clinic quickly arranged a seamless alternative so treatment could continue without delay.
Every part of our experience went very smoothly, and we are deeply grateful to the entire Advanced Fertility Care team for making this journey so positive and successful. We could not have asked for better care!

Hello,
I would like to share my wonderful experience at Advanced Fertility Care.
First, I want to sincerely thank the administrative team, laboratory technicians, and assistants for their warm welcome and invaluable help. You are truly wonderful.
But three angels made my journey exceptional:
👼 My first angel was Dr. F. Larsen.
An outstanding doctor who restored my hope when I had completely lost it. Thanks to his professionalism, kindness, and ongoing support, I was able to believe in my dream again. Thank you so much, Dr. Larsen—you are more than a doctor; you are a guide and a beacon of light. I will always be grateful to you.
👼 My second angel was Abbey Allison.
Thank you for your endless patience, kindness, and comforting words that healed my heart. During the most difficult moments, you gave me peace and courage. Every time I came for an examination, I felt reassured and safe. You are truly an asset to the clinic.
👼 My third angel was Christy.
Even from across the ocean, you were always by my side and provided invaluable help. Thank you for always being available, answering my questions clearly, and guiding me with such care. You are a rare gem; without you, I would have been lost.
My three angels, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You transformed a difficult challenge into an experience filled with humanity, hope, and warmth.
With my heartfelt gratitude,
[Fazia]

When you first start searching for the best clinic for your IVF journey, it can feel overwhelming and even frightening. You do not want to choose the wrong one. You want the best care, especially when paying entirely out of pocket. This clinic is amazing! Dr. Peterson was my primary doctor and everything I wanted in a physician. He is kind, understanding, and direct. He always outlined my options and explained why one might be preferable to another. When I was anxious, he took my calls and helped me avoid rushing decisions. In addition to Dr. Peterson, I had procedures scheduled with Dr. Zoneraich for egg retrieval and one appointment with Dr. Larson. Both were kind and understanding. Although I was not their primary patient, they always made me feel like their most important patient and patiently answered all my questions.
Everyone was perfect, from the front desk and Kelly, who performed all my ultrasounds, to my navigator Savannah. Choosing this clinic was the best decision I have made. 12/10, highly recommended.

With the help of Dr. Peterson and the Pinnacle Fertility team, my wife and I successfully conceived two children! We had a wonderful experience and recommended them to friends and family, who also had children through Pinnacle Fertility. My wife and I both underwent egg retrievals, several IVF cycles, and several IUIs. The fertility navigators and excellent staff made an otherwise difficult experience feel manageable. We got to know the people who worked there and felt cared for like friends. They are very LGBTQ-friendly, and our interactions were extremely positive—something that disappeared after we transferred to an OB-GYN. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Pinnacle Fertility to LGBTQ and heterosexual families needing fertility assistance. I am truly grateful that they helped us build our family!

I am writing this review only after completing treatment at Pinnacle Fertility in Arizona and consulting legal counsel.
Errors and failures in the clinic's medical care directly caused serious complications requiring emergency hospitalization and surgery. These outcomes were not unforeseeable; they resulted from shortcomings in care, communication, and oversight.
Care coordination was clearly inadequate during and after this medical emergency. Critical information related to informed consent, treatment decisions, and ongoing care was delayed, changed after the fact, or provided only after I submitted a written complaint. When complications occurred during treatment, I did not receive the medical support I should have received. Instead, I encountered administrative disorder and a lack of clinical accountability.
Rather than providing corrective or continuing care, the clinic terminated my treatment. This decision was made while I was recovering from surgery, delaying necessary follow-up care, coordination, and resolution of pending treatment matters. Interrupting care at such a critical time compounded the harm.
Billing and reimbursement issues also reflected these broader failures. Verbal commitments were later reversed in writing, requiring escalation to enforce arrangements that had already been approved.
Fertility treatment carries significant medical and ethical responsibilities, especially when a patient has been harmed. In my experience, this clinic failed to meet those responsibilities. I will not return or recommend it.

Our experience at Pinnacle Fertility was amazing! They helped us welcome our son last year, and now I am pregnant again, thanks to them. I loved working with our consultant Brenda. She was extremely helpful and patiently answered all my many questions. Dr. Hutchinson was also wonderful, and I highly recommend him. He called to congratulate us at every milestone, which I truly appreciated.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Zoneraich and his outstanding team. I have never encountered such an efficient medical practice. Every department and part of the organization runs like a well-oiled machine, and the staff and doctors are excellent.
They genuinely make you feel unique, even when you know you are not their only patient. I never felt like just a number. After a terrible experience at another fertility clinic, the care from Dr. Zoneraich and his team deeply moved me, and they always kept their promises.
I especially want to thank my care navigator, MiKayla. She is so amazing that words cannot describe it. If you receive fertility treatment at this clinic, ask for her.
She is truly exceptional. Although I am happy to be referred back to my OB-GYN, I am very sad to leave such a wonderful team.
They have changed our lives forever, and we will always remember everything they did for our story of renewed hope and healing.
They are truly angels sent from heaven!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Pinnacle Fertility. Their nurse navigation system is excellent, and Kirsty is the absolute best. She made a potentially overwhelming process easy and smooth, and helped me feel genuinely comfortable at every step.
Every doctor we met—Allison Abbey, Dr. Zoneraich, and Dr. Larson—was caring and knowledgeable and always took time to ensure we felt supported and understood our progress. The entire clinic staff was equally outstanding.
Appointments were always on time, and communication and scheduling were simple. You can tell this team truly cares about its patients.
I highly recommend Pinnacle and would choose them again!

My experience at Pinnacle Fertility was excellent. IVF is a long journey that rarely goes smoothly. It brings many physical and emotional challenges, so a strong support system is essential. Everyone I met at Pinnacle was kind, genuine, and compassionate. My coordinator Yanley always responded promptly to every question or concern. Her answers were thoughtful and thorough, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about me and my case. She supported me when things were difficult and was the first to celebrate with me when they went well! I felt the same about physician assistant Alison. She was skilled and kind, never rushed me, and always answered my questions patiently. You could tell she was genuinely happy for us and celebrated with us. I also loved the laboratory technician. She always made me laugh and encouraged me with positive stories. I truly enjoyed talking with her and always felt relaxed around her. Finally, Dr. Z was our doctor, and he helped us become pregnant! He always called with important updates and answered all our questions. Thank you, Pinnacle. We are so grateful!! 🩷

Horrible company to be a surrogate for, I supposedly got denied because I didn’t pass my psych test. They claimed that they would explain why I didn’t pass. I have explained to Kellie Kraus. That I have passed a psych test in less than a year for a different company and she didn’t care. She didn’t even bother pulling medical records or anything. Such a waste of time and horrible staff doing the psych test, be prepared to started your meeting more than 10 mins late & not get your results for anything.

I had my first IVF cycle two years ago and miscarried at 12 weeks. I later returned to this IVF clinic for a second embryo transfer, and this time it worked! I had a baby boy. The clinic was very transparent about costs, insurance coverage, and the entire process. I loved their scheduling system because it helped me coordinate my cycle around work. I really liked the clinic staff, including the coordinators I never met in person. They were very helpful in answering any questions throughout the process. I think this clinic did an excellent job. Depending on my schedule, I saw different clinicians, including doctors and physician assistants. The program was well organized, the clinicians were highly skilled, results were communicated promptly, and the coordinators provided strong emotional support.

There was nothing unpleasant about this experience. From the beginning, everything was explained very clearly, and we learned about all the available options. The navigator service was definitely one of the best parts of the experience. Kirsty was truly outstanding. She was always kind, supportive, and helpful. She followed up after every visit and provided tremendous help with everything from developing the treatment plan to answering questions. I will really miss the navigator service when we transition to obstetric care. During our time at the clinic, we met every doctor there, and they were all excellent. Physician assistant Allison was also wonderful—she patiently answered all our questions and was very understanding. Today we officially transitioned to obstetric care, and I will truly miss this team. If we decide to have another child in the future, I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again.

I am extremely grateful to Dr. Larsen and his team for my fertility care. Throughout my treatment at AFC, the entire clinic team was kind, caring, compassionate, and supportive.
My navigator, Noelia, was outstanding throughout the process. I could contact her with any questions or concerns, and she was always very helpful. My nurses, Hannah and Allison, were always kind and gentle during visits. The embryologists and medical assistants were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. All front-desk, billing, and scheduling staff were professional and courteous.
Dr. Larsen took the time to educate me from the beginning. I was of advanced maternal age (41) and had never been pregnant. He gave me honest facts about the success rates for my individual circumstances, with no false hope or sales pressure. Dr. Larsen is knowledgeable and compassionate, with an excellent bedside manner, and is friendly and professional.
I am currently pregnant and deeply grateful to Dr. Larsen and his team for their attentive care and treatment. This truly is a dream come true. I graduated from the clinic this week and am very thankful to Advanced Fertility Care.
Thank you, Dr. Larsen and team. You are changing lives, one baby at a time.

5 stars are not enough for Dr. Larsen and the team. We transferred from another clinic to Advanced Fertility Center, and it was the best decision we ever made. Dr. Larsen and our patient coordinator, Brenda, did an incredible job from our first visit through our graduation appointment. We underwent our first IVF cycle here. Dr. Larsen is highly knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. He spent considerable time with us and guided us through every step. Thanks also to Brenda, who answered our questions so quickly at any time of day and truly supported us throughout. Thank you all so much. Our hearts are full, and we will definitely return for our second baby. We highly recommend this clinic to everyone! We are expecting a healthy baby boy 🩵

Dr. Larsen, Hannah, and Brenda are my dream team! My PCP, who had personally used them, originally recommended them to me. I could not be happier! From the initial consultation through a successful pregnancy, they were wonderful, personable, and thorough. Brenda was absolutely the best at answering all my questions. Although I knew she had many patients, she made me feel like her only one. Hannah always made me feel reassured during appointments and ultrasounds, and hearing her voice was comforting. Dr. Larsen is the best. You can tell he knows what he is doing. He explained the entire process, including the issues we were most likely facing, and reassured us about all the options available at the clinic. After 2.5 years of infertility, our first medicated cycle succeeded! They let us choose the approach we wanted and never pressured us one way or another. We will return without question.

Advanced Fertility Care is outstanding, and I will always recommend it to anyone struggling with infertility. Working with Dr. Larsen and Hannah was the best experience. I love them both. Most of my appointments were with Hannah, who was very kind and compassionate. She always reassured me, answered every question, and made me comfortable. My patient care coordinator, Leah, was equally wonderful. It was so helpful to have someone I could text with questions outside appointment times. I would give AFC 10 stars if I could. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent work!

First, the nurses are very kind, and Dr. Larsen is knowledgeable and provides extensive information to support balanced decisions. They appear to conduct considerable research and continually develop new techniques based on current findings. In my experience, their embryo handling was flawless.
There are some things I wish I had known before using Advanced Fertility. The time between IVF transfers is long. My transfer failed in September/early October, and I did not begin a new transfer calendar until January. I only know that other clinics have faster “turnaround,” and this added substantial disappointment and waiting to an already difficult time.
I also wish I had known how the clinic's finance department operates. You never meet finance staff in person or speak with them by phone. One or two days before an appointment you waited months for, they send the full amount you must pay. When there was a large difference from my initial quote, I could speak only with front-desk employees. They would consult finance and return, making you feel like a burden and that finance would not take time to deal with you. They offer no payment plans and very little flexibility for charges you may not be prepared to pay. I was given one week to try to add more money to my HSA to complete payment. In addition, when I overpaid, it took 5 months to receive the money back. Refusing to discuss the heavy financial burden of these procedures directly is disrespectful. When you have concerns or questions, you receive a high quote and are passed around.
This is only one business aspect, but it tarnishes an otherwise excellent clinic.

Dr. Larsen and his team are very supportive, friendly, and professional. He ensures his patients receive the best treatment. My treatment journey was long because of medical challenges, but the entire team supported me at every step. I am now expecting and enjoying the journey. Special thanks to my IVF coordinator, Brenda Corona, who went above and beyond to ensure treatment stayed on track according to Dr. Larsen's instructions. Thank you for the friendly reminders, encouragement, and support. I will always be grateful. She is a gem. Choosing AFC was the best decision my husband and I made on our journey to parenthood.

I moved here from out of state and was preparing for my second embryo transfer. This clinic does not run smoothly. The nurses are very kind, but the front-desk staff have difficulty explaining what is happening. They charge amounts different from what they quoted and schedule you at the wrong location.
Given the cost of IVF, I would research before scheduling with this clinic. I found another fertility clinic in Gilbert that charges half as much for the same services and seems more competent in its practice. Everything at my previous clinic was always smooth and professional, so my experience at this clinic was very unpleasant.

This review is long overdue, but I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Larsen and his coordinator Yanely are! Dr. Larsen is by far the best. He is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. Yanely is very kind, caring, and responsive! I never had any problems with the staff. Undergoing IVF is nerve-racking and can be very stressful, but I truly appreciated the staff's compassion and understanding. It was certainly a journey, but we succeeded and are now 24 weeks pregnant. We would not be here without AFC! Many thanks to everyone. Highly recommended.

After struggling with secondary infertility for years, I entered Advanced Fertility Care nervous and afraid to hope, but the staff were all so positive. I looked forward to every ultrasound with Hannah. Dr. Zoneraich was always upbeat, and after my first appointment I could not wait to begin my first cycle. My fertility consultant Yanely was absolutely the best and always reassured me whenever I had questions or felt anxious. I was genuinely sad to graduate because I would no longer see this wonderful team. I am so grateful to the staff. I cannot say enough good things about AFC/Pinnacle Fertility. From consistently caring for and listening to patients, to the wonderful staff and smooth communication, the entire experience was excellent. Dr. Larson was our primary doctor, and we also met Dr. Z once; both were wonderful. Most of our time, however, was spent with Hannah or Abby and the midwives—Lilly, Kaelyn, Taiya, Clarissa, Isabel, and Tess—who are unquestionably the best. AFC's support staff are what make it so excellent, and graduating from the clinic was very emotional because they had accompanied us through so many challenges. Yanely was also my main coordinator and was very warm and friendly. Everyone celebrates your successes and shares your setbacks. We will meet our IVF baby in a few months, and we are so grateful to AFC for helping us achieve our dream of becoming parents.

The support system here is unmatched. Thanks to this wonderful team, we will welcome our miracle baby in August! Everyone at the clinic made me feel supported, seen, and encouraged. I highly recommend them.
- Dr. Peterson, MD, is not only highly skilled but also a compassionate listener. He took the time to explain the science behind our treatment plan and ensured that we felt confident in the protocol tailored to my needs. And it worked!
- Allison, PA, was wonderful and exceptionally thorough, gentle, and compassionate throughout treatment. She also sent kind little messages to encourage me.
- Hannah, RN, was absolutely amazing!!! She was so kind and gentle during ultrasounds. Her empathy and communication put me at ease. Even when I was not on her patient list that day, she made extra time to check on me.
- Kristi, RN, Patient Care Specialist, was my lifeline. She made me feel supported and heard and always put my needs first. I feel very lucky to have met her!

Wow! Where do I begin? My wife's and my fertility journey at Pinnacle began with a failed intrauterine insemination (IUI). We had previously tried at another fertility clinic in Scottsdale without success. Most importantly, we found that Pinnacle took our concerns seriously and explained step by step what IVF would look like if the IUI failed. As women of color and members of the LGBTQ community, finding a provider willing to take the time to understand our needs was essential. When my wife began IUI treatment, Dr. Larsen was honest that the procedure had a low success rate. We appreciated his candor because our experience at the previous clinic was the opposite: they left us uninformed about IUI and forced us to prepare financially in advance in case it failed. In total, we experienced two failed IUIs and several unsuccessful intracervical insemination (ICI) pregnancies. Dr. Larsen patiently explained the entire process step by step and answered all our questions. We received all the billing information, and a year later we began treatment. Dr. Peterson successfully performed the embryo transfer, and now we have a healthy, beautiful daughter. To anyone reading this, especially members of the LGBTQ community, if you are looking for a safe, unbiased, professional, and experienced fertility care team for IVF, this is the place. Be sure to follow medical instructions closely, eat a healthy diet, reduce stress, and have the right support system. Yes, it is an investment and we all hope for results, but the reality is that you also need to do your part. After the transfer, listen carefully to the aftercare instructions. This is essential. Take your injections on time and things will go smoothly. Every woman's body is different, but it is also important to do your part. My wife and I are truly delighted that they helped make our dream come true, and if we have the opportunity to have another child, we will definitely return. Thank you to Dr. Larsen, Dr. Peterson, and everyone at Pinnacle who helped make our dream a reality. Because of you, we are happy, joyful, and grateful parents! 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Our experience at Pinnacle was seamless and exceeded our expectations. Because of a move and insurance coverage issues, this was the third clinic my husband and I had worked with. We had a consultation at the first clinic, completed diagnostic testing at the second, and finally came to Pinnacle to begin treatment.
We worked with Dr. Kurt Peterson, and I would recommend him without hesitation. He is knowledgeable, approachable, and easy to communicate with. I had complete confidence in him as our reproductive endocrinologist. Two other essential team members were Hannah at the Chandler clinic and my patient navigator, Sandra. I cannot say enough good things about either of them. Hannah was the clinician for most of my appointments, while Sandra was my contact and coordinator. They made the process much easier. I never felt uncomfortable asking questions, and they always listened carefully. Being able to contact my navigator easily between appointments was wonderful and was not offered by the other clinics I had consulted. We are now expecting our first child, thanks to this team.
If you are looking for the right fertility provider, I highly recommend considering Pinnacle.

Every member of the care team is highly professional. You are assigned a fertility navigator who answers all your questions. I frequently texted mine, and she was always understanding and never made me feel like a bother. Nurse Hannah performed most of my ultrasounds and intrauterine inseminations (IUI).
