Dr. Adrienne Gentry is a reproductive medicine physician and infertility and IVF specialist at the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology/infertility and is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Adrienne Gentry is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Gentry's clinical interests include third-party reproduction, fertility preservation, recurrent pregnancy loss, patient education, and patient-centered health.
Dr. Gentry earned her medical degree from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her OB/GYN residency at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. She then completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
After fellowship, Dr. Gentry served as an assistant professor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and as assistant clerkship director for OB/GYN medical students. She also served as adjunct faculty at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. As an assistant professor, her responsibilities included educating OB/GYN residents and medical students and providing care to a diverse patient population.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and two dogs. She can usually be found on the sidelines at her son's soccer games or at the cheer gym with her daughter.

This is my second review of FIRM, Dr. Kevin Winslow, ARNP Linda Fricke, and all the clinic's nurses and staff. I wholeheartedly recommend them for fertility treatment and care. A few years ago, if you had told me we would have our incredible children, I would not have believed you—but thanks to FIRM, we do! I delivered our second FIRM baby a few weeks ago. From the beginning, I experienced high-quality care, kindness, and understanding from the staff here. I will always have a special place in my heart for the Tallahassee office staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us achieve our dream!

Dr. Sundaram is wonderful ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Three stars is my rating for FIRM. Infertility is a sensitive and emotional subject, and I do not feel my emotions were handled well here. The first doctor we saw was Dr. Erb, whom I would give one star. She was purely selling a product—trying to push us toward the most extreme and expensive procedure first, not knowing who we were each time we entered the office because she never read her notes, and gaslighting me when I had questions or concerns. I often left in tears. It made us go in circles and wasted valuable time, money, and, most importantly, eggs.
My advice is that if you use FIRM, request Dr. Sundaram and understand that the process of ensuring payment is lengthy. Ask about every option before IVF. There are more ways to conceive than the $20,000-plus route someone like Dr. Erb may convince you that you need. Unfortunately, after trying for seven years, you are at the mercy of places like this, but at least there is one good doctor here!

I cannot say enough good things about FIRM. To everyone there, especially Dr. Sundaram, Patty, and Victoria, thank you so much for everything you did. Before joining FIRM, IVF felt terrifying and intimidating. I always felt comfortable calling with questions and was treated with kindness and patience at every appointment. I become very anxious at medical appointments and blood draws, and they truly accommodated me. My husband and I never felt like “just a number”; we felt prepared at every step. It is a difficult process, but where you choose to go truly matters, and I believe FIRM is the best.

My husband and I have been TTC for three years. We did not have a good experience at our first fertility clinic, so we decided to transfer to FIRM. When we were called in for our consultation as soon as we arrived and did not have to wait more than 45 minutes in the waiting room, I knew we had made the right decision. We met Dr. Gentry, and she was wonderful. She is very understanding and knowledgeable. She answers every question directly without avoiding it. She is very caring and made me feel comfortable during this difficult journey. Infertility is hard, and you need a doctor who supports and listens to you. Dr. Gentry did that for us, and I am glad we made the change.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Winslow and all his staff, including Patty, Pam, Shawna, and everyone else in his office. They are all knowledgeable and professional and run an excellent clinic. I never had to wait for an appointment, was always in and out promptly, and never left with an unanswered question. If you need help, the nurses are always available and return calls immediately. I am so glad we found them!!!!

This place is a scam! You charge $100 for a follow-up phone call? That is taking advantage of vulnerable women. I do not recommend this place. Not everyone can afford these outrageous fees, including the cost of treatment!

Frankly, the communication is terrible. My wife and I simply want to understand the results of my tests, but unfortunately no one answers the phone or responds to messages. This is one of the most difficult times in a marriage. When you are trying to become pregnant without success, you expect medical professionals to help you through the difficult process, not make it harder.

I called to ask about an appointment and scheduled one. They later called back to say the consultation fee was $200, so I told them to cancel it. They then sent me a $40 bill for missing the appointment, even though I had told them the previous week that I no longer wanted it. Now I cannot reach anyone.

After 3 rounds of IVF at FIRM, I can finally leave my review! Thank you, thank you, thank you! God has finally blessed me with the perfect baby. I was pleased to work with Dr. Erb and Dr. Winslow, who helped me achieve a live birth. Although the odds were against us and my chance of conceiving naturally was less than 1%, Dr. Erb believed I would have a baby through IVF, and she was right! Nurse Patty was knowledgeable and kind. Although the process was not perfect, it was absolutely worth it. I look forward to starting the process again at FIRM in the future!

A waste of time! Their billing woman has retired. Sometimes she says your insurance is covered, then when the payer says they will pay, she says they do not accept that insurance! A waste of my time! I would give 0 if I could.

My experience at this clinic was extremely disappointing. Dr. Winslow repeatedly confused our records with those of other patients and discussed conditions we did not have. At several visits, he asked us the same questions repeatedly and requested records we had already provided multiple times. The medical records team consistently failed to upload our documents, forcing us to resubmit them before every visit.
Although reports from Mayo Clinic, Myriad, and several other geneticists confirmed that the procedure Dr. Winslow recommended was unnecessary, he refused to continue treatment unless we paid for additional, unnecessary medical opinions.
We requested another provider. Although Dr. Gentry explained our situation better, she ultimately said she could not continue unless we followed Dr. Winslow's direction. This meant we still had to obtain more opinions before treatment or undergo unnecessary steps and expenses.

Linda in the finance department is the reason this clinic gets five stars! She is the only person who provided insurance information and is currently following up on an incorrect balance on my husband's account, which was not submitted to insurance until after her four separate requests. She is amazing. My doctor was also great, although checkout was not pleasant because there were definitely some attitude issues. But Linda! We nearly gave up because the financial information was so confusing, but Linda eased our concerns and took initiative. She is the best!

This practice brings politics into its business. If you do not support that mindset, be aware: they just told me my partner must provide proof of a work visa instead of a passport for a semen analysis. We have never encountered this at other clinics, and the bias from management is obvious. In addition, the office staff gave me the runaround and communicated poorly, so it took 4 days to schedule an appointment.

One year later.
This is absolutely the best clinic I have ever visited. The quality of care is incredible. Dr. Sundaram and her team are amazing. The trust she built with me, the way she always addresses my concerns, and the excellent care she provides are wonderful. I recently underwent IVF with her. My AMH was high, and I was worried about developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) after egg retrieval. I did not—she took every necessary precaution and cared for me throughout the process. Dr. Winslow was wonderful too, and I appreciate how kind and inclusive he was! I will always be grateful to the IVF nurses—Ms. Patty and Maggie—the kindest, sweetest people I have met. And Ms. Weezy, the nurse anesthetist, thank you for staying with me throughout the procedure, checking on me every few minutes, and especially for saying the Serenity Prayer with me. I sincerely appreciate all of you ladies🩵
I have to say this is the best clinic I have encountered. I wish more doctors were like them; from the moment you enter the clinic through your appointment, you can feel their sincerity and care. I especially want to thank Dr. Sundaram. She is truly wonderful—reassuring, kind, knowledgeable, and makes you feel heard. She always explains the process you are going through. I am very grateful for her help and glad I chose her as my reproductive endocrinologist.

I will always be grateful to Dr. Winslow for helping our family grow, but billing for my last two transfers has been a nightmare. In six years as a FIRM patient, this is my only major complaint. The billing department is disorganized and unprofessional. We paid the July 7 transfer in full on July 1, paid the 2025 storage fee by phone on July 3, and paid for both post-transfer ultrasounds. We paid $4,000 cash and $421 by FSA card for the transfer after a $60 credit reduced the quoted $4,481 cost to $4,421, and I kept every receipt. Yet the statement lists inconsistent totals, including $4,050 for ‘frozen thaw and transfer’ and a $3,870 balance, suggesting an overcharge. We have received monthly bills since July or August despite prepayment. Repeated calls promising a response within 24–48 business hours have gone unanswered, including my October 8 call. On December 13 I received a letter dated November 29 threatening collections within 10 business days. Please stop billing me and have Susan or her supervisor Vanessa call me.
A similar problem occurred before my 2021 transfer, when FIRM incorrectly billed me thousands of dollars and corrected it only after I posted on Facebook. Their account management has been so poor that they actually owe me thousands of dollars. They should be audited. Always request itemized statements for every FIRM service. I greatly value Dr. Winslow and the clinical staff, but the billing department needs serious review and competent, courteous employees.

I do not like writing reviews, but I will when it can save others time, energy, and resources.
I have no issue with Dr. Winslow himself. He has always been professional and direct.
The nurses here are a joke. They are supposed to answer transferred calls, schedule time-sensitive appointments based on your cycle, and call you back, but they do not seem to care. I lost nearly three months waiting for them to schedule me and finally had to visit the clinic in person, which worked.
As I write this, no one has returned my call for three days. This month, the fourth, has also been wasted because the nurses fail to follow up with patients and appointments.
When I raised the issue before, they told me to come immediately, forcing me to take that day and the next day off work. It was extremely inconvenient and last-minute, and only happened because I complained.
The same nurse was supposed to request prior authorization for a medication and schedule me to take it at the clinic on a specific date.
She told me my insurer would call to say which pharmacy had the medication.
I called the insurer a day or two before the appointment and learned that no one had requested it until that morning, when I had called the clinic to remind them. The insurer needed up to five business days to dispense it. To save time, I ultimately paid the clinic out of pocket.
Patty made the process agonizing and wasted our time.
My advice is to find a clinic that truly values your precious time. We come here to preserve valuable time, not lose it because of incompetent people.
*Not to mention the billing woman who called to say I owed $150. When I asked why, she said, ‘Um...I don't know’!!! Seriously? This place is a joke.

Please do not see Dr. Gentry. My experience was terrible.
Whenever I asked Dr. Gentry a question, she would not answer. She always said, “We need to run tests before we can answer questions!” I understand that she could not specify the testing process, but she could have answered my questions. I did not even receive a phone call after my bloodwork. When I called the clinic, they only said they would explain everything after I completed testing. I was very unhappy with this lack of communication.
I had bloodwork two months ago and was told that my fallopian tubes needed to be checked before they could determine the next step.
Then I became pregnant! The first time I called the clinic, they said I needed to speak with a nurse. I heard nothing afterward, so I called again that evening. They said that because I had not received “treatment” there, I needed to see an OB-GYN. Pam relayed the message from Dr. Gentry.
Please note that I had a congenital condition as a child and have also had a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy.
During the consultation, they should have clearly explained what counts as “treatment” so I would not waste my time and money. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this clinic to anyone.
Update: I went to another clinic to make sure my pregnancy was progressing normally and discovered it was ectopic!
I am very grateful to the fertility clinic that scheduled me and welcomed me so warmly!

After a terrible experience at a previous fertility clinic, I took a break of nearly two years before finding FIRM. From my first appointment, Dr. Gentry was candid, genuine, compassionate, and truly listened to my story.
What impressed me most was how personalized my treatment plan was. Dr. Gentry carefully considered everything I had been through, including my previous tests, laboratory results, and treatment history, and developed a plan tailored entirely to me.
Every step of treatment was explained very clearly, and I always felt fully informed, supported, and cared for. I was never confused about what came next or left uncertain about billing, insurance, or the treatment plan, which had been major sources of frustration at my previous clinic. FIRM's communication and organization are truly outstanding.
Before starting IVF, I honestly thought it might take many attempts or even years before I became pregnant. Thanks to the attentive care, close monitoring, and expertise of Dr. Gentry, Nurse Pam, and the entire team, we were incredibly fortunate to become pregnant during our first IVF cycle. I will graduate from the fertility clinic in a few days. Although I am grateful to begin a new chapter in life, leaving is genuinely heartbreaking because this team has become an essential part of our journey. Every staff member has been kind, encouraging, responsive, and genuinely invested in our success. They truly treated us like family, and we will miss them very much!

Dr. Winslow and his staff are wonderful. If you want to become pregnant, this team will help you reach that goal. We had a beautiful, healthy baby boy through FIRM 3 years ago, and we are now 9 weeks pregnant with our second boy through IVF at FIRM. We moved away but still fly back and forth because we refuse to see anyone else. That is how much we love and trust FIRM.
Here is the truth: IVF is awful. That is simply the reality. Before finding FIRM, we saw several doctors. They invited our opinions, coddled us, told us what we wanted to hear, were very nice, and shaped the process around our requests. FIRM does not do that, thankfully. FIRM knows what it is doing. If you have a problem with the experience, it is not the doctor, bedside manner, or process. They have developed a process that can result in a successful pregnancy. They will not change it or coddle you. They are the best group of people we have met, but they will also tell you difficult truths, timelines, and medication protocols. If you go in and follow their instructions, you have a strong chance of becoming pregnant.
If you do not want injections, do not want to accept the frequency of visits, and only want Dr. Winslow to tell you about rainbows and butterflies, FIRM may not be for you. We received all of that from doctors at the University of Florida and Seattle IVF. Appointments were always pleasant, but they never resulted in pregnancy—only wasted money. We did not realize until coming to FIRM that the other doctors had been too relaxed and simply told us what we wanted to hear. FIRM's discipline differed from that of every other doctor we saw, making us realize we never had a real chance of conceiving with them.
Let Dr. Winslow and his team do their work. Do not rush or argue about medications, schedules, appointments, ultrasounds, or timing. Let them research your situation, create a plan, and then follow it. Do exactly what they tell you, in the way they instruct. This will give you your best chance of becoming pregnant.

We had a truly wonderful experience with everyone at FIRM Tallahassee. From our first check-in until graduation, everyone was kind and thoughtful. For about four months, we visited several times each month, and every time the staff greeted us by name with smiles. I liked wearing pun-themed T-shirts to make them laugh. They made a somewhat stressful process relatively easy, answered our questions, and truly felt as though they were beside us, supporting us at every step. Dr. Winslow explained things thoroughly, but we spent more time with ARNP Linda Fricke. She was our cheerleader, and her positive presence kept our spirits high. I think she was as excited as we were when we finally received a positive result!
Overall, I highly recommend the Tallahassee office. Everyone was a pleasure to work with, and we look forward to working with them for any future attempts at pregnancy!

One of the 5 worst medical experiences of my life. I will never return and have told several friends not to go. Two years ago, I came here to learn about my options for becoming pregnant in my forties. This awful doctor told me there was no point exploring my options because I was too old. He specifically said, “I have practiced medicine for 40 years, and only two women your age have become pregnant through my care...it is almost impossible.” I was angry, upset, and emotional. His disrespect was overwhelming. He acted as though I were 90 years old. Before I left, however, he suggested implanting someone else's embryo in me and wanted bloodwork to assess my condition. I wondered why he needed to test this supposedly decrepit older woman's blood. I simply got up and left. I discussed the experience with friends and colleagues, and they had similar experiences, especially those in their forties. One friend used Brown Fertility and became pregnant in her fifties. I recommend them instead of this clown show posing as an infertility clinic. Unfortunately, I will not have biological children, but I would have appreciated some help and kindness that day.

Winslow's staff—and I do not call him a doctor because he does not deserve the title—write reviews for him so they can keep their jobs. All the five-star reviews come from receptionists and nurses who worked with him.
Winslow caused the failure of the once-thriving Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine. He never remembers important patient information and never listens. It is his way or no way, and after 3 attempts failed completely, he blamed my wife and me. He is arrogant and complacent. Winslow will disappoint you and leave you worse off than before! Please find a real doctor who will at least care for you and help you through the difficult process of infertility. I cannot emphasize this enough!

I cannot say enough good things about FIRM and the exceptional care they provide. Facing fertility problems placed an enormous emotional burden on me. Learning that my opportunity to become a parent might be limited was devastating. After receiving this news, my wife and I did our research. We consulted other fertility clinics and spoke with friends who had faced similar challenges.
FIRM immediately stood out, not only because of the range of treatment options but because of its evidence-based, results-oriented approach. From the first day, the doctors' expertise gave us much-needed reassurance. But what truly distinguished FIRM was its team. From the phlebotomists to the nurses, every staff member was compassionate, organized, and highly capable. They kept us informed, ensured everything ran smoothly, and never left us feeling lost in this new and often intimidating process.
When things did not go as planned, they were extremely supportive and gave us empathy and comfort when we needed it most. They also helped without hesitation, even when I asked unusual questions.
We are deeply grateful that FIRM supported us through one of the most difficult periods of our lives with professionalism, empathy, and genuine dedication.
We were obviously fortunate to succeed. I have no doubt that without entrusting our care to Dr. Winslow and FIRM, we would not be parents today.

In January 2024, my insurance began covering IVF. Both my fallopian tubes had been damaged in 2020, so I needed IVF. I went to a clinic in Jacksonville, which you should disregard entirely. My AMH was low, but I still wanted to try using my own eggs. I knew I would not retrieve many, but I tried. I was also advised against genetic testing because I did not want to lose embryos due to inaccurate results. By November 2024, I had undergone 3 egg retrievals and 4 transfers without a positive result. I decided to seek another opinion because I still had 2 frozen embryos. I admit Dr. Winslow's bedside manner is not the best, but he knows what he is talking about! He made my cycle more natural—it took me a long time to stop the HSG—and then transferred my final 2 embryos. Today I am 7 weeks pregnant! If I had not sought another opinion, I might never have had my rainbow baby.

The Tallahassee practice gave us our miracle baby! We began this journey very nervous and were welcomed by knowledgeable and compassionate staff. The nurses and front desk were always open and caring. I appreciated Dr. Winslow and the entire team's honesty throughout the journey. Linda, an ARNP, made our experience very positive and personal. She always took time to answer our questions and guide us at every step. Infertility is difficult, but this practice made our dream of becoming parents come true! We will always be grateful to FIRM!

Our experience with the Tallahassee FIRM team will remain in our hearts forever. The fertility journey is emotionally turbulent, vulnerable, and sometimes overwhelming, but from the beginning we felt genuine care and support from everyone there.
Dr. Winslow, Linda, ARNP, and the entire staff were remarkable. During a period of life when we needed trust and hope, their compassion, patience, and genuine kindness helped us tremendously. They listened patiently, encouraged us, and supported us at every step.

Today I decided to share not my feelings, but my experience at this facility. Two years ago, I came here for help. I am an ordinary person who works hard for a living and decided at age 39 to have a child. They recommended trying intrauterine insemination (IUI) before the in vitro fertilization (IVF) I initially wanted. I traveled between Tallahassee and Jacksonville several times for two attempts, neither of which succeeded. This cost me significant time and money, so we decided to proceed with IVF.
Two years later, as I approached 41 and could afford treatment, I returned to Dr. Winslow. He repeatedly said my situation was abnormal for my age and that my chances of success were low. He had said the same things even before treatment began two years earlier.
I had read all the negative reviews but still came here with some hope. I was wrong. His approach was forceful and arrogant, and he did not care about patients.
I wanted to spend money to have my own child, but our conversation left me wondering why I needed his help.
This time, I told him I was ready and wanted to try surrogacy. I explained that my circumstances were unusual: I had to care for elderly parents and was in poor health, so I needed someone else's help.
He said surrogacy was illegal in Florida, which I had never heard before. He also said I would have to prove I had a disability or documented health condition for surrogacy to be legal. He suggested that I adopt a child or find a husband and use someone else's eggs, which sounded extremely rude and absurd.
Anyone considering this new journey should be careful and make an informed choice before going to this facility. They do not care for patients like doctors; they are simply ordinary people who know how to operate equipment.
I hope my personal experience can save others time and money.
All the costs are very high, and you pay not only at the clinic but also receive many bills at home after the process ends, even without any result.
I hope everyone in my situation has a better opportunity to experience love and hope for life.

I had an appointment for male fertility testing there at 9:00 a.m. on October 17, 2024.
The older woman in the back was very kind—a genuine sweetheart—and informative. She kindly guided me through every procedure I needed to complete and answered all my questions.
On the other hand, after everything was finished, there was a young blonde woman at reception. Before leaving, I wanted to ask a few questions, such as confirming the mailing address on file.
When I approached her, she would not even let me speak and immediately told me I was all done!
I felt as though she just wanted me to leave!
She sat in her chair looking down at her phone and browsing social media.
I told her I only wanted to make sure I would receive the results by mail.
She told me that if it was a self-test, the results would be mailed to the address on file.
She did not even look at me while speaking; she just kept looking down at her phone and browsing social media!
So I left without confirming the address on file.
I simply wanted to share my experience with the receptionist and alert the general manager.
This place needs more people like the older woman in the back.

I have not scheduled an appointment here yet, but I want to say that as someone experiencing infertility, I have struggled to receive compassion from obstetric offices. Today, I called FIRM with a few questions and the receptionist was so kind and I honestly have never been so happy to finally talk to someone who is willing to listen to me. I am excited to schedule my appointment and just wanted to mention how wonderful my first interaction was!

They only provide treatment if your BMI is below 30. This should be disclosed before appointments and testing so people do not waste their time and money here. Ladies, other doctors can help you become pregnant even if your BMI is higher, provided you are healthy and it is safe. Do not give up! Your weight does not determine whether you deserve to be a mother!

After struggling to conceive, we went to FIRM and were fortunate to meet Dr. Erb. From the beginning, Dr. Erb took the time to explain all our options, their risks and benefits, and the likelihood of success. Through every disappointment, Dr. Erb reassured us and supported all our decisions. Thanks to Dr. Erb and the entire FIRM team, my husband and I now have 2 wonderful children, aged 4 months and 22 months. We feel incredibly blessed and grateful. I would recommend FIRM and Dr. Erb to anyone needing reproductive guidance and assistance!

There are many reasons I do not recommend FIRM, but this is by far the biggest.
For more than two months, I have been trying to get answers from FIRM's billing department. I have called many times and left a message each time. Although the recording says calls will be returned within 40 business hours, sometimes I receive a call a week later and sometimes not at all. My last call was two weeks ago, and by then I was completely beside myself.
I became a new patient at FIRM in August 2025. On one invoice, I noticed a $250 charge for a new-patient telephone consultation. I knew I was already an established patient at the time of the charge, so I checked the date against my calendar and realized that the "new-patient consultation" was a follow-up call to review blood test results. I had already paid for that blood draw.
During my one-minute conversation with Dr. Erb, the only thing she said was that I needed to contact a counselor to review my results. The conversation with that counselor was included in the blood draw fee. So why was I charged $250 for Dr. Erb to tell me to call the counselor?
When I raised my billing concerns with the Daytona office, both the receptionist and Dr. Erb held up their hands and told me they do not handle billing issues and that I needed to contact the JAX billing department. What kind of physician does not know which codes they enter or what services they charge patients for?
This is completely absurd, unethical, and unprofessional.

I am surprised to see reviews below five stars, though I suppose people who are unhappy with a business may be more likely to leave a review. In any case, we love this clinic, especially the De Pere location. Parking is easy, the clinic and providers are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the atmosphere is warm and peaceful. Even better, a real person always answers the phone, and when they promise to call back, they do. Instead of having to ‘listen carefully because their menu options have changed,’ as at other clinics, I speak directly with a person. I know that may sound minor, but when I call other medical facilities, I have to listen to five minutes of recordings and still end up leaving a message. We will always be grateful for how this clinic helped our little family, and we think of them every year on our children’s birthdays.

If you truly want a child, do not come here. I wasted a year and a half and my money at this practice, and all they did was push IVF. All they care about is money and profiting from IVF; they do not care whether you have a baby. In fact, I am convinced they do not want you to have a baby—you are just a cash cow to them. I switched doctors and was pregnant four weeks later. One doctor achieved more in four weeks than Dr. Winslow and his team did in a year and a half. Every time I left this place, I felt utterly discouraged and completely taken advantage of. It was awful. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They even use the receptionist as an advertisement, pitching their services to everyone who walks through the door. I am disgusted by the conduct of everyone here. My experience was absolutely horrible. Taking advantage of a woman who wants to become pregnant is sickening. Save your time and money... Do not come here. And guess what? I am now pregnant without IVF... Amazing, after this clinic botched four IUIs and said I had to undergo IVF when it was their fault. One of the doctors could not even determine my ovulation window for three whole months. In the end, that same key doctor told me I needed IVF simply because the ovulation timing could not be determined. My experience at this clinic was absolutely disgusting. Our journey to welcome this sweet baby took seven years. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Winslow and the staff at the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine for helping us bring our little bundle of joy into the world. During our hardest days, Dr. Winslow and his staff were always there for us, prioritizing every appointment, procedure, and decision and treating us like family. Please do not see Dr. Gentry. My experience was terrible.
Whenever I asked Dr. Gentry a question, she would not answer. She always said, “We need to do testing before we can answer questions!” I understand that she could not specify the testing steps, but she could have answered my questions. I did not even receive a phone call after my bloodwork. When I called the clinic, they said they would explain everything after I completed testing. I was very unhappy with this lack of communication.
I had bloodwork two months ago and was told that my fallopian tubes needed to be checked before they could decide what to do.
Then I became pregnant! The first time I called the clinic, they said I needed to speak with a nurse. I heard nothing afterward, so I called again that evening. They said that because I had not received “treatment” there, I needed to see an OB-GYN. Pam relayed the message from Dr. Gentry.
Please note that I had a congenital defect as a child and have also had a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy.
During the consultation, they should have clearly explained what they considered “treatment” so I would not waste my time and money. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this clinic to anyone.
Update: I went to another clinic to make sure my pregnancy was progressing normally and learned that it was ectopic!
I am very grateful to the fertility clinic that scheduled me and welcomed me warmly!

We were incredibly fortunate to meet Dr. Gentry as our fertility physician when we began this journey in April 2022. She quickly became more than our doctor; she felt like family. She never gave up on us through all our difficulties and supported us far beyond what we imagined. Whenever we wanted to give up, she found a new plan. Her optimism kept us hopeful, which was essential to success. She is highly knowledgeable and always finds a solution. We laughed and cried together. We will always be grateful to her and miss her greatly. We are now holding our little angel, who would not be here without Dr. Gentry. We will return to her next year as we look forward to our second baby!

An unprofessional and insensitive doctor! We paid for a consultation to discuss fertility treatment, but she used the time to talk about her personal life and her husband's work. She laughed and chatted while we had to sit and listen to nonsense until we finally interrupted her to ask about treatment. She said that because of our age, we would need to pay someone else to have the baby using donor eggs. If you do not have the experience to help, that is fine, but no one deserves such disrespect and treatment. Charging patients to sit and listen to your jokes, then saying, "I read your chart; based on your age, donor eggs are all I can offer," is rude and disrespectful of our feelings and the money we paid. Since she had already reviewed the records and reached a direct conclusion, that should have been all she did when we arrived. Extremely disrespectful and insulting.

Her bedside manner is outstanding; even my husband thinks she is funny and cool 🙌🏾🫶🏾. She is knowledgeable and direct, which I appreciate. After a failed IVF cycle and subsequent testing left us feeling as though we were constantly hitting a wall, we decided to find another doctor. Dr. Gentry came highly recommended, so we scheduled a consultation. From our first meeting, her positive spirit and infectious attitude were exactly what we needed because we were feeling very discouraged. Dr. Gentry proposed a thoughtful plan of action. Although my previous experience left me somewhat skeptical, I trusted her professional advice and decided to proceed.
