Dr. David Tourgeman graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1994. He completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in 1998 and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at USC Los Angeles County Women's and Children's Hospital in 2001. He then joined the USC faculty as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. After four years, he joined HRC Fertility, then Huntington Reproductive Center, in 2005. He now practices at HRC's Encino and West Los Angeles locations.

Dr. Tourgeman has been featured in Women's Health and The New York Times, appeared on Good Morning America and WeTV, and appeared as Melissa Rivers' fertility physician on Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?

His clinical and research interests include assisted reproductive technology, oocyte donation for women of advanced reproductive age, alternatives to improve embryo implantation, advanced reproductive surgery, evaluation of ovulation induction agents, and vaginal hormone management.

    The finance department is extremely disorganized, with no internal coordination at all! They processed my payment without making a single note, then kept saying I had not paid the outstanding balance, so they would not schedule my embryo transfer. This seriously delayed the process! No one offered any explanation or apology.

    I am very disappointed with this location. I had my first IUI treatment in 2023, then paused treatment because of certain circumstances. I decided to restart this year and called to make my first appointment. After gathering all my information, Griselda told me they needed to contact my nurse, Tiffany Tseng, whom I had seen at the clinic in 2023. Later that afternoon, Griselda called and said I was not a suitable candidate for IUI. Honestly, hearing that when you are trying to become pregnant is heartbreaking. I will definitely not return.

    My experience at this fertility clinic was very disappointing. It was clear that the doctors were more interested in making money than genuinely helping patients conceive. The process felt like an assembly line rather than personalized care. Dr. Wilcox only saw me at intake, performed basic fertility tests, and prescribed medication during the critical period when I was injecting hormones, with no follow-up or monitoring. After that, I was simply scheduled for retrieval. When the retrieval results were less than satisfactory, he recommended repeating the same protocol without any additional testing or medication adjustments to improve the outcome. No embryo viability testing was performed, even though this is standard practice at other clinics. Although the clinic looks attractive, it is packed with patients, clearly showing that profit takes priority over outcomes. I strongly recommend seeking fertility treatment elsewhere. This clinic does not provide the care and attention needed for such a sensitive and important journey.

    The building's security guard, assigned by this branch, was rude and confrontational. They did not want to address it. The staff here are not very nice. They did not tip the Grubhub driver appropriately despite the wait and their huge order. I had to make two trips to my car because of the large order. Avoid delivering here.

    One of the main reasons I chose HRC Pasadena for egg freezing was Dr. Molly Quinn. Providers like Dr. Quinn are hard to find. She is intelligent, approachable, professional, and genuine. I was very nervous, but knew I would be well cared for when I met her. She immediately answered every email and made me feel cared for throughout the process. HRC is very lucky to have her. I was mainly under Dr. Quinn's care, but Dr. Gig also handled some monitoring appointments and seemed very kind. I am also very grateful to Alondra, my coordinator. She responds well to emails and is the sweetest. I had minor consultation/scheduling issues at first, possibly due to poor communication between the main call center and front desk. I gave 4 stars because the financial coordinator was difficult to reach.

    Dr. Wilcox ignored my chart and age and prescribed too much medication. When I was brought in for overstimulation, he said, “This is the worst case I have seen in ten years. Because you are young, I probably could have done less,” then walked out. I needed a wheelchair and was sick for a week. I only truly spoke with him twice and was passed among different nurses. My sister-in-law froze her eggs at the same time and had a better experience at every step. Now I continue receiving bills even though I paid everything, which is confusing and prolongs the terrible experience. Please go elsewhere. What should have lasted only one day left me suffering for a week. -------- After this terrible experience, I learned their egg-storage price increased by $150 in just one year! This place is predatory and will extract every dollar from you. I tell all my friends not to go; please listen to the reviews. Billing is the only department that answers the phone.

    Dr. Llarena, Melody, and their team provided outstanding support during my fertility treatment. Their accessibility and responsiveness, especially Melody's, were excellent. From our first meeting, it was clear that Dr. Llarena is very compassionate and highly knowledgeable in her specialty. After every ultrasound, she sat down, took a breath, and asked what questions we had—as though she had all the time in the world—then answered each one in detail. She is patient, kind, and intelligent. I referred a friend to her, and my friend loves her too! Finally, being able to have blood drawn quickly was especially wonderful. I will always be grateful to phlebotomists Abby and Hasmik, who always smiled at me when I was nervous.

    I had an incredible experience at HRC Fertility in Pasadena and cannot recommend them highly enough! From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. The atmosphere was calm, warm, and reassuring, which matters greatly during such a personal journey. Dr. Kolb and my nurse coordinator, Vikki, took time to explain every step of IVF and addressed all my questions patiently and clearly. Their expertise was evident, and I felt confident in their care. They tailored my treatment plan to ensure it matched my needs and goals. Throughout the process, Vikki communicated well and kept me updated on progress and next steps, which I deeply appreciated. The supportive environment and staff professionalism made a potentially overwhelming experience much easier to navigate. Thanks to Dr. Kolb and Vikki, I am now 4 months pregnant and doing well!     After unsuccessfully trying to conceive, I felt lost and distressed. I found Pasadena Fertility Clinic by chance. The doctor was professional and patient, carefully analyzed the treatment plan, and gave me confidence. The nurses were gentle and caring, comforting me during treatment and helping me persevere.     As a surrogate, my first embryo transfer was at Fertility & Surgical Associates of California in Thousand Oaks, and it was successful. They were highly professional, guided us through the process step by step, and explained how everything should proceed. This location is my new surrogacy clinic, and it falls far short of my first experience. If I could, I would have the intended parents change clinics and use the one I attended before. This experience was strange. They asked me to arrive early, but we waited in the lobby far beyond the scheduled transfer time. We thought they had forgotten me. The clinic was overcrowded and felt like an assembly line, as another reviewer described perfectly. The transfer itself was strange and somewhat uncomfortable. My assistant said nothing; she simply began pressing on my bladder in awkward silence, and Dr. Wilcox looked as though he was asleep. My husband and I did not feel good about the experience. The office is beautiful, but unprofessional. Overall, we were very dissatisfied. I underwent another transfer because the previous embryo did not implant. I will update this review with more details about the second transfer. Update on the second attempt. This time was definitely much better. I had a different nurse—thank goodness!—who was much nicer and more willing to explain the process. We came early this time, so Dr. Wilcox seemed more relaxed, outgoing, and talkative. Perhaps it is better to be an early patient than a late one. My embryo implanted this time, and I look forward to the new journey! If you feel uncomfortable or have a poor experience, do not be afraid to report it. Tell the clinic. This is an extremely important and difficult process that you undergo with your own body, and you deserve a good outcome! You are essential to keeping the clinic running. Whatever type of patient you are, you deserve respect here and at every fertility clinic!

    I completed three successful surrogacies with Dr. Wilcox! He and his team were always kind, explained everything thoroughly, and made me comfortable asking questions. Dr. Wilcox also performed my own egg retrieval and explained each step carefully to my husband and me. I love Dr. John Wilcox and HRC Pasadena ❤️

    Our experience at HRC has been amazing. The staff they have there is top notch and I have to give a shout out to Vicky who was our nurse and like our case manager. She was on top of everything, explained everything to my wife and made sure she understood the assignment. Even when my wife was having difficulty during her first pregnancy, Vicky was always there quick to respond and or accomodate us into a quick appointment to calm our nerves. Dr Kolb is one of the best, takes his time and is very methodical in his approach and doesn't try a "cookie cutter' approach but an individualized approach because not everyone is the same. We've been surrounded by people that have gone to Dr. Kolb and his team, and it's all praise. Thank you HRC, Dr. Kolb , Vicky and the countless people at HRC that have given us our lil miracles.

    Dr. Molly Quinn—a true miracle worker at HRC Fertility Pasadena When I found Dr. Molly Quinn, my AMH was only 0.1—an extremely low ovarian reserve—and most doctors would have declined my case. Even knowing how challenging it was, Dr. Quinn did not give up hope for me. She respected my determination, guided me step by step, and applied her best medical judgment throughout. With her exceptional skill, we ultimately succeeded—it truly felt like a miracle. I am 39 and one of two sisters; my older sister has never had children, so my family was counting on me. Dr. Quinn’s patience and expertise brought us joy and hope. The egg retrieval I feared most became the easiest part of the process—her gentle, precise technique made it completely painless and smooth. I had no pain, bleeding, or discomfort afterward. I am now preparing for my second cycle next month and am grateful to continue this journey with Dr. Quinn and her excellent nurse, Ms. Chen, who has always been patient and supportive.     My therapist encouraged me to write this review as part of my healing. If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would. Avoid it at all costs. I previously posted an honest review, and they accused me of being a fake account… classic gaslighting intended to silence a patient rather than take responsibility. Fifteen years ago, I was a patient of Dr. Nelson at Huntington Reproductive Center (HRC). He repeatedly canceled my IVF cycles and converted them to IUI without ever explaining the real reason. I later learned that I had diminished ovarian reserve, a diagnosis that was never clearly disclosed at the time. Those decisions cost me years, money, and emotional stability. The entire process felt profit-driven rather than patient-centered. There was no transparency, compassion, or honesty. Thankfully, I found another doctor who was candid about my condition and gave me real choices. I am now a mother… not because of HRC. If you are seeking fertility treatment, go elsewhere. Do not waste valuable time in a system that treats patients like numbers rather than people.

    I highly recommend Dr. Larreina. She was exceptional throughout my fertility journey—knowledgeable, honest, thoughtful, and genuinely caring toward her patients. She knows the IVF field inside and out, always clearly explains the best treatment options, and never made me feel that my questions were foolish or unimportant. Before meeting her, I had seen five different doctors, and I can confidently say that she is the one I trust completely.     I am very grateful to Dr. Molly Quinn and Josephine for making my IVF experience at HRC so positive. My husband and I did extensive research and consulted several doctors before choosing a clinic, but after meeting Dr. Quinn, we knew HRC was the right choice. She patiently answered all our questions—and we had many—and listened carefully to our concerns. She was kind and genuine throughout the process. We never felt rushed, and I always felt well cared for. Josephine was wonderful to work with. She responded to emails very quickly, so I never had any problems with injections or treatment. She was always kind and made everything much easier. I am now 12 weeks pregnant after our first transfer and am very happy with my experience at HRC. I highly recommend Dr. Quinn!

    This review is long overdue because I have been fortunate enough to experience the exhaustion and joy of new motherhood. I delayed writing because words truly cannot express my gratitude and affection for Dr. Kolb, his team, and everyone at HRC Fertility. My husband and I had the privilege of working with Dr. Bradford Kolb and his team. I am a busy independent retail pharmacy owner, and my husband is an active-duty Air Force service member stationed overseas. Dr. Kolb, his nurse Vikki, and the rest of HRC Fertility gave me tremendous support. For more than a year, I experienced their warmth and empathy. Dr. Kolb and Vikki were always honest about risks, chances of success, and the plan most likely to give our family the best outcome. Although infertility was difficult, I am glad I approached it with an open mind and understood that having a child still depends on chance and a higher power. Still, I knew I had a dedicated team with a plan to improve our chances. From the moment I stepped out of the elevator, the front desk warmly greeted me by name and always smiled. The wonderful phlebotomists encouraged me during blood draws. At every visit, Vikki, Dr. Kolb, and his nurse Katy stood by me, encouraged me, and gave me the support I needed while going through the process alone during my husband's service. The financial team also offered me “options” at checkout. For more than a year, they made me feel like family, cared for, and as though my case, success, and happiness truly mattered. Even after I successfully graduated at 10 weeks, they welcomed me back to visit, and I plan to return once my baby is about four months old and has received most vaccinations. To anyone facing infertility, I understand how difficult the journey is. If you keep an open mind, you will find that working with Dr. Kolb's team and HRC Fertility can be an excellent experience. I wish I had more words to express my gratitude, especially for how they supported me at my lowest moments. I am profoundly grateful to them!

    I just completed treatment with Dr. Mabel Lee and am extremely pleased with the highly successful outcome. My recovery was also quick, thanks to Dr. Mabel Lee's exceptional skill. I am very grateful for her attentive care and steadfast support throughout treatment. She was professional, knowledgeable, focused, and dedicated to carrying out my personalized plan. She understood and listened to my concerns and remained calm, exceptionally professional, and focused on my results. I will definitely return to her in the coming years. Special thanks also to my team coordinator, Gladys. She gave me tremendous care and comfort, always responded promptly to my questions, and offered many warm hugs that helped me through the physically and emotionally difficult stages of treatment. Dr. Lee, Gladys, and the PASLee care team helped me remain optimistic and realistic. Although the process was difficult, especially from cycle days 5-6 onward, knowing that Dr. Mabel Lee, my nurse coordinator, and the team would support and comfort me kept me going. Rachel, Cynthia, and Nanette were also very kind and patiently explained how to prepare the medications.     Terrible experience. Everyone, including the doctor, seemed like a money-making machine. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes with us, barely reviewed the medical history, asked a few rushed questions, and immediately moved on to promoting services. After the examination, the doctor disappeared. Sales and finance staff then arrived and directly recommended IUI, even though the doctor had said we could consider medication first. I do not know what they were thinking; perhaps they only wanted more money. This organization is extremely irresponsible! I wasted $300 and will definitely switch providers. Unless you do not mind being treated like a fool, stay away 🙄🙄🙄🙄

    At 39, I will be honest: my physical condition is not ideal. Every month, I am reminded how fragile this process is and how easily hope can disappear. Yet every month, Dr. Quinn renews my hope through her exceptional skill and precise judgment. Frankly, I am the kind of woman many clinics would view pessimistically. The process is long and slow, with a low chance of success. That is the reality of extremely diminished ovarian reserve. But Dr. Quinn never gave up on me. From the beginning, she was honest. She told me this could be a long road, with low success rates and slow progress. But when I told her I wanted to persist and succeed no matter what, she supported me throughout. She did not dismiss me or make me feel that wanting to try was unrealistic. Instead, she stayed with me throughout, supported me through every cycle, and did everything possible to help me achieve the best outcome. My situation is very specific: severely diminished ovarian reserve, a very fast-paced life, and a strong desire to have my own child someday. If you freeze your eggs early by choice rather than necessity, I have no advice to offer. You are on the right path. But if you are like me and did not realize that waiting until your late 30s to freeze your eggs would substantially reduce fertility, trust me: Dr. Quinn is the best choice in Los Angeles.

    I was shocked to see another patient with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) rate Dr. Quinn so highly. My experience was terrible. Despite my being 38 and having had two miscarriages, she did not order an anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) blood test. We then wasted what may have been my final good months on a saline ultrasound and two months of procedures that could have been completed in one if properly planned. Later, when I responded poorly to medication, she reluctantly agreed to order blood tests. Did she adjust my treatment plan? Barely. When I failed to respond a second time, she told me I might consider donor eggs in a few years. She offered no other medication options and did not discuss the decision with me. I felt like a liability to their statistics and was abandoned. HRC, however, was happy to hold my nearly $10,000 deposit for several months. After four months, I finally received a refund of about 90%. If you are over 35, I advise you to consider this clinic very carefully. Delays, a lack of individualized care, and inconsistent service may cost you far more than money.

    Dr. McDaniel barely listened to me. Instead, she lectured me at length about how terrible and damaged my body was because of my condition. She then performed an invasive ultrasound and continued telling me how bad my body was. It was humiliating. After the ultrasound, they put me alone in a room with a financial adviser, who yelled at me that my insurance would cover nothing. Do not come here. They are not doctors but cold salespeople who only want your money.

    My husband and I spent considerable time researching fertility clinics before choosing Dr. Molly Quinn at USC/HRC Pasadena. We reviewed Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) data, read countless reviews, and had several consultations, but after meeting Dr. Quinn, our decision was immediate. Dr. Quinn is professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and practical. We especially appreciated her honesty and evidence-based approach. She never gave false hope, but respected our wishes and encouraged us to advocate for ourselves. She presented the facts, offered recommendations, and let us decide what was best for us. She was also highly responsible and responsive—most impressively, she personally performed my first egg retrieval during her weekend off. We also loved working with her coordinator, Josephine. Fertility treatment can be stressful, and Josephine's kindness, responsiveness, and organization were invaluable. She always replied promptly, handled every detail, and gave us genuine reassurance throughout. HRC is a large, busy clinic that can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we chose it because we valued its experience and expertise. From what I understand, experiences vary by physician. We are also very grateful to Maria in billing, who helped with insurance and encouraged us to submit claims we thought would not be covered, saving us a substantial amount. Three years ago, we had a successful embryo transfer and now have a mischievous toddler. I returned to transfer our frozen embryo and am now 30 weeks pregnant. I delayed writing this review because I worried Dr. Quinn would receive too many requests, but now that our family is complete, I do not want to stand in anyone's way! We are incredibly grateful for the care and support and highly recommend Dr. Quinn and Josephine.

    tl;dr: There are better options in the area. Their disorganization and overcharging caused me tremendous stress. Their financial department is a scam. Despite excellent insurance coverage, they charged me extra fees. At another clinic later, I was not charged any of these fees and had significantly better results. They are disorganized and do not provide timely instructions about medication timing and dosage. Their surgical center is downstairs. Although the clinic, HRC Encino, and the surgeon performing the procedure were in network, the center is out of network for many insurance plans. They charged me $1,000 for a hysteroscopy that should have been covered 100% by insurance. They also failed to provide a valid itemized receipt until I called and emailed more than 5 times. I needed the receipt to obtain $1,000 in reimbursement from my FSA. The financial department frequently caused delays. Authorizations were not obtained promptly. IVF is time-sensitive, and they did everything possible to make the process more stressful and painful than necessary. I deeply regret not researching more carefully and not taking the other reviews here seriously.

    My wife and I underwent three IVF cycles at HRC Encino. The process was expensive, complex, stressful, and difficult, which we expected and which does not affect my review. One issue prompted me to write it: inaccurate and misleading communication. At the beginning, they told us what we wanted to hear, got us to open our wallets and proceed, then changed their story at the end. If we had known from the beginning how they would handle our eventual situation, I would have $60,000 more in my bank account. We both carry a rare recessive genetic condition affecting vision. We were advised to have a third-party company create a custom genetic probe for us at a cost of $13,000. During the process, we asked whether we could skip testing entirely and accept the risk, as we had consulted geneticists at NIH and understood the possible outcomes. They said, "Yes, as long as you sign a waiver." We asked whether, if an embryo tested positive, we could decide to use any affected embryo. We were told, "Yes, if you consult a genetic counselor and speak with the doctor." After the first cycle, we had 8 fertilized embryos, but only 1 survived. This was a turning point that led us to repeat the same questions above to ensure we were in agreement, and we were assured that this would be our choice. After the third cycle, we sent 5 embryos for testing. Three tested positive, 1 had an inconclusive result, and 1 was untested because of a biopsy issue. After nearly a year and more than $60,000, we asked to use the two embryos without definitive test results. We were explicitly told we would not be allowed to use them because the clinic was uncomfortable with it. All we received was, "I sincerely apologize for any confusion my role may have caused." As noted above, had we known this at the beginning, we would never have agreed to proceed. We explicitly asked all these questions and received written answers. This was not faulty memory or a lack of attention to detail on our part.

    I chose HRC because its egg-freezing prices were competitive. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Peck and my care coordinator Jennifer. Dr. Peck explained the entire egg-freezing process and what to expect at each stage. During every ultrasound, she turned the screen so I could watch as she measured and counted my follicles. She included me in the process and kept me updated on what she was doing. She was very kind and did an excellent job as my doctor throughout. I felt safe in her hands. Jennifer was excellent at scheduling appointments and provided very thorough information about my medication doses and schedule. She answered my questions by email and responded very promptly. For the financial side of the process, I strongly recommend speaking with Paul. Any elective fertility procedure can be very expensive and is often not covered by insurance. Paul sat down with me and answered my many questions about costs, payment options, and insurance versus out-of-pocket expenses. He was thoughtful and wrote out a detailed price breakdown for every aspect of each option. Ultimately, there were no hidden fees, contrary to some other reviews I read. It depends on the option or package you choose, because they do not all include the same things. It also varies if you add extras, such as a full genetic panel. Be sure to ask about your options when you go. Overall, I am very glad I chose HRC and Dr. Peck's team.

    Writing this review is not easy. In fact, it took us nearly two years to finally put our experience into words. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Boostanfar at HRC Fertility showed a clear lack of compassion, transparency, ethics, and honesty. From the beginning, our treatment plan seemed driven by profit rather than genuine medical care. We felt rushed into procedures without proper transparency or preparation, and our concerns were dismissed. One of the most troubling parts of our experience was the misinformation we received about genetic testing. HRC strongly pushed us toward an out-of-network genetic testing center without disclosing that an in-network facility was available. This was likely not in our best interest. Using it would have cost us thousands of dollars. Such manipulation is unethical and unacceptable, especially in such a sensitive field. Even more devastating was the outcome of the IVF cycle itself. Despite the physical and emotional roller coaster, the process produced three embryos that did not develop. We were told that one had only one set of DNA, indicating a serious problem from the start, but none of this was explained beforehand. More painfully, we later learned that our health circumstances made us poor candidates for IVF, something Dr. Boostanfar never honestly told us. Instead of giving us candid, professional advice, they let us spend thousands of dollars, invest our hopes, and undergo treatment that was unlikely to succeed from the outset. IVF is already emotionally, physically, and financially difficult. The last thing anyone should face is a clinic that treats patients as dollar signs rather than people. I hope our story helps others find honest, ethical providers who genuinely care about patient well-being.

    I had a wonderful experience at HRC Fertility in Encino! Dr. Tourgeman and Johanna Quijano were excellent and very attentive. I felt they always took the necessary steps before transfer to maximize the chance of success. Thanks to them, I had my first child and am now pregnant with my second. If I decide to have a third, they are the only team I would see. I appreciate their kindness and careful attention to my health throughout the process :)

    As an Intended Parent, I chose Dr Boostanfar (after visiting a handful of IVF clinics on west and east coasts) because he was professional and effective. All my conversations with Dr Boostanfar and his team were "right to the point", science-based, without sugar-coating, which is a style i appreciate a lot. The first embryo transfer was not successful and Dr Boostanfar and his team took the time to investigate before drawing any conclusion or recommending next steps immediately, and that gave me the confidence for proceeding with the second - which was successful and I'm now holding my baby girl! Beyond Dr Boostanfar, the coordinators Shanise and Mei addressed all my needs timely along this journey and I'm always thankful for their support and help. I do think their billing process and accounting numbers are not flawless and i did spend a couple rounds clarifying some billing questions, so you gotta have some patience and attention to details when you get the bills from HRC Encino. This is a watch-out for whoever choosing this clinic in future. However this does not compromise the fact that Dr Boostanfar and his team was my best decision.

    A journey full of surprises. I am an older patient with uterine cysts and had a previous failed experience in Malaysia. However, Dr. Boostanfar and his assistant Sophie gave me tremendous support and encouragement and, most importantly, offered an effective solution. Throughout treatment, Sophie always responded promptly and effectively to my concerns and questions, while Dr. Boostanfar moved the testing forward efficiently and quickly proposed the most suitable treatment plan. Of course, no plan can guarantee 100% success, but I was fortunate to achieve results beyond my expectations.

My IVF coordinator, Sophie, is intelligent, kind, and organized. The entire team is wonderful, and Sophie is the best. In short, if you want a child, Dr. Boostanfar and his team will help you have one. A friend told me that many children at her child's daycare were conceived with Dr. Boostanfar's help.     Nine years ago, I began my journey at HRC. Today, with my five-year-old son and ten and a half weeks pregnant, I graduated from the fertility clinic. Words cannot express my love and gratitude for Dr. Peck and Jennifer. From the beginning, Dr. Peck was knowledgeable, thorough, approachable, proactive, and open-minded. She always supported me physically and emotionally throughout my treatment plans and procedures. She prayed for me, held my hand, communicated proactively, and stayed beside me through every step of this unexpectedly long and difficult journey. Her careful, meticulous approach assured me that she had done everything possible, that my health was always well cared for, and that I was moving toward success. Now I have finally succeeded. My coordinator, Jennifer, is the most thoughtful, attentive, supportive, responsive, and organized person. She answered urgent messages, listened to every thought and concern, comforted me with love during difficult times, and kept me grounded throughout the process. Leaving HRC feels like leaving a small family, not just an outstanding reproductive medicine assistant and coordinator. Both will always hold a special place in my heart.     My wife recently completed an IVF cycle, and we had an amazing journey. She was very anxious initially, but Dr. B reassured us and sincerely shared his knowledge and expertise. He was confident and knew what he was doing, exactly what a doctor should be. Our coordinator Angela was kind and patiently answered all my questions because this was entirely new to me.     I recently saw Dr. Handelsman for egg freezing, and he was kind and approachable throughout. His coordinator Sophie was also warm and friendly. During this emotionally difficult process, they made me feel heard and understood. I especially appreciated that Dr. Handelsman never exaggerated and was always honest. My egg retrieval was scheduled for Thanksgiving Day. Although I had to go to Pasadena for the procedure, Dr. Handelsman still came! I was touched and reassured that he was there to care for me.     I had an excellent experience with Dr. Woo and her nurse Rebecca at HRC Fertility. After four failed cycles at another clinic, my partner and I decided to try once more at HRC. It was the best decision we made—we became pregnant after our first embryo transfer! Dr. Woo is knowledgeable and patient. She took time to explain every step of treatment clearly, which reassured me. She listened carefully and supported me throughout. Rebecca was also outstanding. She was attentive, compassionate, and quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Her communication was always timely and thoughtful, making the process much easier. Overall, they are an excellent team. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care greatly improved my treatment experience, and I am sincerely grateful. I highly recommend them to anyone undergoing fertility treatment. My only wish is that Dr. Woo could be my primary physician—she is truly wonderful.

    Dr. Peck is my IVF "fairy godmother." Because of her, I am now pregnant with the healthy baby I have wanted for nearly ten years. In 2016, at age 36, I consulted Dr. Peck and froze my eggs—one of the wisest decisions of my life, thanks to her encouragement, support, and attentive care. We retrieved and froze 11 mature eggs. Two years ago, my husband and I decided to complete several more retrievals to increase my egg reserve because I could still ovulate this way and our insurance covered the cost. Before every retrieval, Dr. Peck greeted me warmly, and each time I woke up, she held my hand, shared the good news, and told me I had done wonderfully. Dr. Peck has always been my strongest supporter. She is optimistic, professional, and practical. She explained everything in great detail and answered all my questions. She always made me feel we were a team, encouraged me to trust my instincts and my body, and did everything she could to help. Both medically and emotionally, Dr. Peck helped me achieve my dream of motherhood. She is experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate about her work. She is always cheerful and kind and, most importantly, provides realistic expectations. I am thrilled to share that I am 10 weeks pregnant after my first embryo transfer and have 3 healthy, PGT-tested embryos frozen for future transfers.     There is no empathy, and the office disappears for days around every holiday, delaying progress. The finance department does not return emails or calls. They force you to have blood tests there instead of using insurance and charge about $150 per test. No one seems to enjoy working there, and it shows in how they treat patients. I absolutely do not recommend this clinic.

    I called Bloom OB-GYN and told the front desk I was looking for an OB-GYN and wanted a consultation to see whether the clinic and doctor were right for me and my pregnancy. I met Dr. Sodhi, who was cold and spoke stiffly to me because I was a new patient. When I asked about the practice, she would not even explain it. Her attitude became unfriendly when I said I was still looking for the right OB-GYN. She then wanted to perform an ultrasound even though I had told her I had one on Monday, just two days before the visit. I thought it would still be nice to see my baby and hear the heartbeat 🙏🏾. I left saying I wanted to discuss it with my partner. She told me she had many patients and no time for me. I politely thanked her, apologized for taking her time, and left the exam room. Her receptionist then said I owed a $108 copay. I was confused and angry because I had clearly said on arrival that I was only there for a consultation, and the receptionist said they understood. Why did I owe $108 for a consultation? The doctor did nothing except speak with me and ask questions. Dr. Sodhi and her clinic are a scam. I will never return or recommend them. They charge a $275 administrative fee. Are you serious? Why charge someone who needs medical help even more, especially when you are also billing their insurance? My experience was terrible. Extremely disappointing.

    Dr. Wu and nurse coordinator Rebecca Esmeralda were rude and lacked communication and compassion. Rebecca consistently replied late, and Dr. Wu would not even turn on video during Zoom meetings. Please do not choose this branch or clinic. We wasted months with them and hope management takes this seriously. After reading all the one-star reviews, I now understand why this clinic is so poor. We have decided to transfer elsewhere. I strongly advise against this clinic.

    Dr. Boostanfar and his team at HRC Fertility are wonderful. From our first consultation, they were honest and showed the expertise, empathy, and patience we greatly needed because we were very nervous. Team members Jennie Hermoso, Sophie Lee, Angela Ho, Shanise Asheim, and everyone else we met supported us throughout. They always answered emails and calls promptly, never made us feel neglected, and gave us comprehensive support. They are truly professional. This was our second fertility journey, and we were thrilled to welcome twin boys. HRC Fertility was distinctly different from our previous clinic, which felt cold and transactional. Dr. Boostanfar and his team accompanied us throughout. We highly recommend HRC-Encino and Dr. Boostanfar to couples hoping to build a family.     My husband and I had an excellent experience at HRC Fertility Encino. We sincerely thank Dr. Boostanfar and his team for their attentive care and support throughout the process. What impressed us most was how closely they monitored my condition. My medication dosages were adjusted in real time based on my response, which was very reassuring and made me feel well cared for. Diana and Mei were extremely responsive and efficient in confirming my medication plan. They always explained each step clearly, making the process more reassuring. Their communication was timely, clear, and very helpful. We are very pleased with the outcome and sincerely appreciate the entire team's attention to detail and professionalism. We would definitely recommend HRC to anyone undergoing fertility treatment.

    It is impossible to schedule by phone. K also scheduled an appointment once, but when we arrived, they said it was not in the system and told us to return another time because they were fully booked.

    My experience with HRC Fertility was very disappointing. They provided no meaningful help throughout the process and repeatedly ordered basic tests we had already completed elsewhere at much lower cost. Worse, they never clearly explained the costs in advance. They immediately billed our insurance for multiple services and also charged us at every visit. Months later, we received additional bills requiring us to pay out of pocket for more of the same routine tests. No one had warned us that these tests would generate extra charges. This felt unfair and misleading. Had we known the actual costs, we would never have agreed to repeat the tests there. Overall, it seemed they cared more about maximizing insurance billing and charges than about helping us. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this clinic. Do not waste your time or money here; there are much better treatment centers available.

    I previously had a very good experience with my doctor here, but she moved away. I now want to transfer my embryos to another clinic, and HRC has been ignoring me. I submitted the request form two months ago, but there has been no progress. They do not answer calls or respond to emails. Their service was good when I was spending tens of thousands of dollars at HRC, but now that I want to leave, they treat me like their least important client.

    Dr. Boostanfar and Sophie were an incredibly hands-on, supportive team, and I truly can’t thank them enough. From our very first consultation, Dr. B made a lasting impression. One of the first things he said to me was, “I don’t believe in unexplained infertility,” and he meant it. He took the time to run thorough testing and was able to identify what was going on. Thanks to him, we are now expecting our baby girl—something we will always be grateful for. Dr. B is everything I hoped for in a doctor and more. He made sure I fully understood every test and procedure, and always kept me informed every step of the way. His level of care and attention is truly unmatched. His team is just as incredible. Sophie was my absolute saving grace throughout this journey. She is patient, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease during every appointment. That meant more to me than I can express. The entire HRC team made such a difference in our experience. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming, and the phlebotomists were wonderful. Carla and Daisy consistently made my blood draws quick, comfortable, and as painless as possible. I could go on for hours about how much I love HRC, Dr. B, and Sophie. If you’re looking for a fertility doctor who is truly dedicated to helping you achieve your dream of having a baby, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. B. And if you want a clinic that makes you feel supported and at home every step of the way, HRC is the place to go.

    Dr Woo is absolutely amazing! She really focused on me and my body, and what would work best for it. She is compassionate AND a type A, which I so appreciated! I can't speak highly enough about her. My first clinic was the exact opposite. Keep advocating for yourself and find someone who asks questions with you. Dr Woo was that for me.

    We had an excellent infertility consultation with Dr. Handelsman. We learned a great deal about treatment and infertility. He was knowledgeable and approachable, and we felt relaxed throughout. All the staff were very friendly! We conceived naturally after the consultation, so we did not continue at the clinic. I joke that Dr. Handelsman was our lucky charm. In any case, many thanks to the clinic staff and doctor!
