I recently started using MCRM, and so far the poor communication has been very disappointing. I am lucky to receive a response within a week.

I have been a patient at this clinic for two years. During the first year, everything was organized and communication was smooth because I was a new patient. In the second year, however, the experience became frustrating and very disorganized. Laboratory results were often not updated in the patient portal, and the doctor's notes about the current treatment plan were not uploaded. My greatest concern was the unexpected bills, which were not shown in the portal beforehand. The clinic was also difficult to reach. Calls often went to voicemail and were rarely returned. I honestly hesitate to write this review because I know they can do better. For now, I plan to complete my current treatment plan and then look for another clinic with better communication and more satisfactory patient service. I hope they improve their communication, transparency, and patient follow-up in the future.

I cannot thank MCRM Fertility enough! They helped me become pregnant quickly! I am 46, and: 1. All my frozen eggs fertilized; 2. Two embryos were transferred successfully on the first attempt! 3. The embryos implanted on the first try, and I am now almost 13 weeks pregnant! They are miracle workers/magicians! My husband was difficult throughout the process, but they were extremely patient with us. They could have referred us elsewhere, but instead connected us with a family counselor who helped resolve our issues. She was amazing and addressed everything! Everything at the clinic was smooth and convenient. Whenever I had a question or concern, they called back immediately. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and helpful. Clinical coordinators Shawnee, Macy, Lauren, and Ashley were wonderful, and Dr. Ahlering and Dr. Aubuchon took time to speak with me in detail and explain the treatment process. I had planned to receive treatment at Washington University, but the doctor there made me feel like one of twenty people waiting in line. I felt like a number. From the beginning, MCRM made me feel like family. I am so grateful to them—they gave us the greatest gift possible!

I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. If possible, I would give it zero stars. We attended MCRM for over a year after another couple we knew chose it. I had several egg retrievals and one transfer but did not become pregnant. I understand that not every cycle succeeds, but from diagnostic testing until we left, the experience was a nightmare. After testing, our nurse Laura called in a panic and delivered information as though it were life-threatening. We knew something was wrong because we could not conceive, which was why we were there. Yet she made the possibility that we were not IUI candidates and needed IVF sound much more frightening than it was. She would even pass us in the hallway without a smile or any sign of recognition. During my first retrieval, more than twenty eggs were collected, but no embryos survived. I understand that success is not guaranteed, but the news was heartbreaking. My coordinator's idea of ‘comfort’ was to schedule me with Dr. Ahlering to discuss next steps, but he was unavailable for a month, and we could not begin another cycle until speaking with him. We had time, yet they required this appointment. He was kind and professional, but we left just as confused as when we entered. After several cycles, we finally had an embryo to transfer. Bloodwork confirmed pregnancy, but our ultrasound was not until weeks later. At the ultrasound, there was no gestational sac or fetus. It was devastating and confusing. When I asked what it meant, ultrasound technician Maggie said, ‘We can only see what the bloodwork shows.’ There was no comfort at all. Crystal Fox waited outside and gave us a big hug. She brought us into her office to cry, ask questions, and receive whatever we needed. That was exactly what we needed for the rest of our time there. Thank you, Crystal, for making us feel human and understood; you were the only one. Today, we are 12 weeks pregnant through another clinic, yet we are still dealing with problems from MCRM. Despite clear instructions about our embryos, they continued charging storage fees. They ignored requests to confirm the forms for weeks and months, then sent another bill that we had to dispute. Infertility is an extremely lonely journey, and MCRM makes it even more isolating. They care only about money. If you want a positive experience and respectful care, go elsewhere.

We had the best experience with MCRM and Dr. Aubuchon! After several failed IUIs, our first IVF attempt resulted in our beautiful daughter. We are now excited to begin treatment for our second child. Dr. Aubuchon and everyone at MCRM were knowledgeable, supportive, and exceptionally caring throughout.

Words cannot express my gratitude to MCRM. Two friends recommended them, and they far exceeded our expectations. They not only gave us exceptional care but always made us feel like their highest priority. My husband and I were going through an extremely difficult emotional period after losing our son, and we had been unable to conceive since his death. The MCRM staff were always kind and patient in answering my questions and concerns, making a challenging time feel exciting and even enjoyable. I could speak endlessly about our wonderful experience at MCRM, even before mentioning that we are expecting a new baby this year thanks to their outstanding work. They gave me a child and, more importantly, hope. Update: Three years after MCRM helped us welcome our second son, our journey to expand our family has ended. Despite the MCRM team's best efforts, I was unable to become pregnant again. Everyone at MCRM remained positive and continued supporting our efforts to grow our family even when I had nearly given up. On our final attempt, God surprised us with twins. MCRM once again played a major role in growing our family, and I will always be grateful for their help.

I was a patient at this fertility clinic. Because of my symptoms and infertility, I asked the doctor about possible endometriosis. The doctor told me that because my fallopian tubes were open, endometriosis was unlikely. I was quickly diagnosed with “unexplained infertility” and began IUI treatment. After complications from my second IUI sent me to the emergency room, the doctor said IVF was my only option. We completed an IVF consultation, but I had concerns and never returned to the clinic. In June 2025, I finally found a specialist unaffiliated with MCRM who performed laparoscopic surgery and found severe, deep-infiltrating stage 4 endometriosis. Apparently my “unexplained infertility” was not so unexplained. Because the disease progressed rapidly over the years, I may need another surgery less than a year after the last one. If you are diagnosed with “unexplained infertility,” I strongly recommend seeking a second opinion before proceeding with further treatment.

Lisa at front desk check-in is the first person you meet...and she is amazing! Be especially kind to her!!! The nursing staff, phlebotomists, and anesthesia team are outstanding! Although you may not see the doctors often, they are excellent too!

My wife and I went through several IUIs and ultimately used a donated embryo. Our second transfer in August 2023 brought us our daughter, and we are excited to begin the process again and continue building our family! Our nurse coordinator Lauren was responsive, attentive, and understanding. She patiently answered all our questions and never made us feel like a burden. All the nurses who prepared us for appointments were also warm and friendly. Our financial coordinator Katie showed tremendous care and thoughtfulness throughout. After our first transfer failed, she made every effort to accompany us to each blood draw. She brought comfort and lightness to a stressful time. We look forward to seeing our team again and having them help us grow our family!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Aubuchon and all the staff at MCRM. Struggling with fertility is never an easy experience and we were so grateful to have such an amazing and kind team with us every step of the way. IVF is a very overwhelming process but Dr. Aubuchon and team were with us every step of the way answering questions and holding my hand as I cried on multiple occasions. After 2 embryo transfers we finally got our beautiful baby girl. Finally having her with us has made everything worth it!

I dealt with this fertility center for nearly two years, and the experience was exhausting, disorganized, and deeply disrespectful of patients’ time, bodies, and money. At my initial visit, I completed vital-sign checks, questionnaires, and an interview, then was told they would contact me when needed. Over the next nearly two years, appointments were repeatedly scheduled and canceled. At different times they said they had too many sperm donors, that they ‘did not currently need Black sperm donors,’ and then suddenly that they ‘urgently needed Black sperm donors.’ These shifting statements created false urgency and wasted my time. Last December, I was assigned to a cycle but never received dates or instructions, so everything stalled. Months later, they contacted me again asking whether I was still interested because of a donor shortage. At the time, I had just had a nonhormonal IUD placed. Dr. Jacob said it had to be removed and removed it during my period (period began November 29; removal was December 2). He then prescribed progestin-only pills (POPs), but Walgreens was out of stock, so I could not start them until December 5, after my period had ended. This poor timing was never properly addressed. I started the pills but ran out before my ultrasound and asked for a refill. Dr. Jacob said he could prescribe more but questioned whether my insurance would cover them, even though they were required for the clinic’s egg-donation process. I ultimately paid out of pocket after being told I would be reimbursed if necessary. The amount was small, but I was never reimbursed. Patients should not have to front costs or use their own insurance for medication required by a fertility clinic. He also said any brand of birth control would work, which made me realize the IUD did not need to be removed. Its removal was an unnecessary intervention that disrupted my body and menstrual cycle. Egg donation also requires frequent appointments, making steady employment extremely difficult, while total compensation is only $5,000, with $1,000 withheld for six months subject to compliance. Given the strain on donors, this compensation structure feels exploitative. At my most recent appointment, Dr. Jacob performed an ultrasound and said I had a cyst. He briefly scanned it, counted follicles, and abruptly announced that the entire donation cycle was canceled because of the cyst. He downplayed it as ‘just a cyst’ while also saying it was serious enough to disqualify me. He told me to wait for my next period and return in a month. I was understandably shocked. There was no clear explanation, reassurance, or sense of urgency. As I was leaving, Dr. Jacob shouted across the office asking whether I had scheduled with an OB-GYN while I was still in his exam room. If it was urgent, I should not have been dismissed. If it was not urgent, canceling everything made no sense. The front desk then followed me and asked whether I needed another scan or would see my own doctor, apparently hoping to keep me on the donor list. I declined and asked to be removed. When I asked whether removing the IUD could have caused the cyst, the answer was, ‘Possibly.’ The entire experience reflects poor medical management, poor communication, unnecessary intervention, broken promises, and disregard for patients’ time, money, and health. After being strung along for nearly two years, I strongly urge anyone, especially Black women, to think twice before trusting this center.

We are incredibly grateful to MCRM! The doctors and nurses were extremely helpful and supportive throughout our IVF journey. They gave us a beautiful baby boy. We recommend them to all our friends and anyone struggling to build a family. They deserve an 11/10 rating!

We were extremely disappointed with the care at MCRM. They made many mistakes, including one that left me with severe internal bleeding and sent me to the ER after I fainted, while they told me I was fine and should just rest and drink water. After several failed transfers, we went to another clinic. Basic genetic testing on both of us identified the problem, and I became pregnant after the first transfer. I know no one is perfect, but it felt as though MCRM was simply going through the motions rather than taking our case seriously.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. They took a $5,000 deposit, then claimed my insurance had denied coverage and immediately demanded that I pay the remaining $20,000 out of pocket. I later learned they had never submitted a prior authorization request to my insurer; they had simply assumed it would be denied. This is disgusting. They do not care whether you want a child; they only want your money.

Dont be fooled by all these great reviews, like I was. I've been battling infertility for 6 years. I have severe endometriosis, chronic ovarian cysts from the endometriosis. I get a surgery done about every 12-16 months. I just had a major c section and lost my right ovary just 6 months ago. So I have been through hell and back already. I thought this clinic would be caring. Lol!!! How dumb of me. The lady that draws your blood is so unfriendly. My "doctor" has only talked to me 2 times since I started going here in July. My coordinator for my ER was kind but she would forget stuff all the time. The day after my retrieval I wasnt called with my numbers. I had to call. No biggie. At day 7, I was told my embryo number. I was never told my embryo grades, I had to call 3 weeks later to find out. I was asked if I wanted to do a FET in December. I said yes. No one said I needed to be on birth control again. No one gave me a time line for things for this cycle. So I thought everything was fine. Until today when I was told because my period started (at a normal, 28 days) that my transfer is being canceled. My jaw fit the floor. I had to call to get an explanation at to why. Then my coordinator was rude to me. I told her no one else told me the time line for this FET cycle. She (shawnie) replied "I'm not going to AsSuMe no one told you." Like lady why would I freaken lie to you? Then I tell her some of stuff about my situation there. She replies laughing "im your coordinator, I know everything!" So I started laughing with her "haha oh okay" which then she says "you have 2 embryos" I sassy replied "I have 3.... which you should know.. coordinator." Anyways. This place has been a mess. The freaken "doctor" doesn't even care about your situation. Your one hour video call will be a class of how IVF works. As if us couples dont do a lot of research before picking out a clinic. It was a waste of an hour. We were just another couple. No talking to me about my history or any of my surgeries. Nothing. Plus they dont care about ovarian cysts. They dont measure them. They dont tell you what type of cysts. They dont tell you how big they are in cm. Even when you said id like to keep track on their growth. They still won't keep up with it. You really dont matter here. Your just another IVF couple paying ridiculous amount for insensitive people. I cant stand this place. I wouldnt recommend this clinic for anyone even if my life depended on it. How sad this has been my IVF experience. I was so hopeful and happy back in July. Now I'm just exhausted, no hope, frustrated and heartbroken.

Be careful with this place. They will take your money. I paid out of pocket at every visit, yet now, after not going there for over a year, they demand payment for an unexplained bill. I tried Casey Tiepelman several times but received no call back. They sent a final-notice email, and I have no idea what the bill is for. They also did nothing to help my wife and me. Infertility is hard enough, yet they gave us no answers, backed us into a corner at every visit, and cost me thousands. After two visits with a new doctor, we learned our numbers were the same as the IVF figures. This place is a joke!! Be cautious before investing too much!

Most people here are probably fine, but if you are over 35, treatment here will leave you discouraged and self-conscious. While speaking with the doctor, I was reminded every 30 seconds that I was 38, as though I had forgotten my age. During blood draws, I felt like a rag doll handled carelessly by the phlebotomist. I have never felt worse after a medical visit. They do not care about you; they want to put you on the IVF assembly line and make money, not to mention the predatory pricing of fertility treatment.

We are so grateful to MCRM! They were wonderful from the beginning. Everyone we met, from receptionists to doctors and nurses, was warm and friendly and provided everything we could hope for in a clinic and in our care. If you need fertility help or have questions, contact MCRM. I would never go anywhere else!

MCRM gave us our sweet son! We needed only one IVF cycle. They made everything easy, were simple to reach, and always responded promptly.
    Sep 24, 2025
The doctors and nurses were wonderful, and I will always be grateful for our daughter, but the billing department is terrible. After paying so much, they owe us $1,500, and I have spent four months trying to recover it. They always say the check was mailed or an ACH payment is coming, but nothing happens. They promise to call back and never do.
    Aug 27, 2025
Stay away from this clinic. The coordinators and doctors are impersonal and care only about the day’s bill. I feel two embryos were wasted during my transfers. They are hard to reach, become angry if you call the emergency nurse line, and provide incorrect medical information!

Avoid MCRM at all costs. This clinic is a nightmare. My husband and I were charged for a surgery that never occurred, repeatedly billed unexplained out-of-pocket fees, and had our insurance benefits ignored multiple times. Copay items were missing from bills, and we had to keep pressing them to correct their mistakes. They never told me that my physician, Dr. Alexander, who was wonderful, had left the clinic. I still had a procedure scheduled and received no notice; I discovered it myself. When I asked them to send my records to my new clinic, they ignored my request and did not follow up. This clinic exists to extract every dollar from vulnerable patients. They are petty, poorly managed, issue incorrect procedure bills, and do not care about your treatment or outcome. To avoid stress and financial and emotional harm, go elsewhere.
    Jul 29, 2025
I scheduled three times but never received a call. When I finally secured an appointment, they scheduled me in Oklahoma even though I had confirmed the STL location. They rescheduled it for a new date and time without confirming with me. The website works poorly, and they referred to my husband on the phone even though I am a lesbian. I decided to find another clinic. I have embryos and do not feel comfortable sending them somewhere with so many problems.

We had a wonderful experience with the MCRM staff! Everyone was knowledgeable and helped us achieve our ultimate goal of pregnancy. We underwent one IUI cycle, and it worked! We welcomed our baby girl in February. We are extremely grateful and would return if we decide to try again.

My wife and I underwent reciprocal IVF at this clinic! The staff were absolutely amazing! We are currently expecting our baby girl and are extremely pleased with our experience there. Lauren Healey was our coordinator, and she was wonderful! Thank you to MCRM in Chesterfield, Missouri, for making same-sex couples feel included and supported ❤️ If you are a same-sex couple and are hesitant, do not be—go for it!

Our first IVF experience changed our lives. The MCRM staff listened to our story and goals, and by working together, we achieved pregnancy. Everyone was attentive, flexible, helpful, and very kind. We felt comfortable from the beginning because of the excellent staff. We are deeply grateful to MCRM and will return when we are ready for our second child.

I want to express my deepest gratitude for the role you played in helping bring my beautiful son, Bryce Dion, into the world. On May 12, 2025, at 39 weeks pregnant, I delivered a healthy, handsome baby. That moment still fills me with awe, joy, and emotion. Looking back, I remember the compassion, professionalism, and unwavering support your team showed at every step. From our first consultation through the final stages of treatment, you made a potentially daunting and emotional process manageable, empowering, and hopeful. Your attention to detail when creating my treatment plan, kindness at every visit, and reassurance through the highs and lows were invaluable. Your care was not merely clinical; it was deeply human, and that made all the difference. This experience transformed me, and I am excited to say that I look forward to beginning a second journey with you—hopefully for a daughter this time. I would gladly follow the same process that safely placed Bryce in my arms because it was unquestionably successful and positive for my body and mind. Thank you again for making my dream come true—for giving me my son and the strength to grow our family with faith, confidence, and love. You will always be a treasured part of our story.

When I finally contacted MCRM, I was guarded. I had spent two years at another fertility clinic and experienced nothing but heartbreak. In one final attempt to have a child, I contacted MCRM. Dr. Alexander and Nurse Alex were wonderful to me throughout the process, and our first transfer with them succeeded 💞🥹❤️. It is hard to believe it has been almost a year since delivery, and I am already thinking about when to return to try our final embryo. I strongly recommend Dr. Alexander. She is absolutely the best 🥹❤️

My wife and I have been greatly blessed by the MCRM staff. In October, we welcomed our second IVF child, a baby girl named Georgie Mae. Our son was born in June 2022 and is happy, healthy, adventurous, smart, silly, and very funny. Everyone at MCRM was incredible during both journeys. I believe attention to detail distinguishes MCRM. Everything follows a clear, easy process, and they did an excellent job of reassuring and relaxing us throughout. There was a time when my wife and I truly believed we would not become parents. It was a very sad and discouraging period, but just when we thought it would not happen, MCRM stepped in and made our dream come true. We have now completed two IVF cycles, both resulting in beautiful babies. Parenthood is one of life's most important roles. Children reflect the best parts we see in ourselves. MCRM gave us the opportunity to love, laugh, cherish, and shape their lives. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Aubuchon and the MCRM staff.

My husband and I found this clinic through Google, and I am glad we did! Everyone was kind and understanding. Dr. Alexander answered all my questions and assured me she would help us become pregnant. Through her recommendations and IUI treatment, she made our dream come true! Special thanks also to our nurse :) She was excellent throughout.

My husband and I found MCRM Fertility in Chesterfield, Missouri. We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Allering. He made us feel heard and was very informative. We had many questions, and he answered every one. The staff were always kind and positive! The entire office was wonderful. I had one retrieval and one successful transfer, and we now have a beautiful baby girl!
    Jan 17, 2025
It took me some time to write this review. Although the nurses and doctors were wonderful, the cost was unfortunately not worth it. We spent $40,000 on 2 egg retrievals, medication, and monitoring without bringing home a baby. As a woman with only 1 ovary and no discount, we simply could not continue our IVF journey here. I also wish the doctor had mentioned day-3 freezing because I had so few eggs.
    Jan 27, 2025
I still think about the day I saw Dr. Aubuchon. After weighing me and checking hair growth on my lower back, she said I did not have PCOS because I was too thin. I then had to pay $500 for a medically unnecessary ultrasound, despite having prior ultrasound results available, that insurance did not cover. She was wrong. See Dr. Wilshire at Columbia or go anywhere else. She is a terrible person and doctor.
