Duke Fertility Center
Our fertility specialists provide compassionate care to people facing infertility and seeking to build a family. We offer a full range of infertility treatments, from lifestyle changes and fertility medications to insemination and carrier screening. We work with heterosexual and LGBTQ+ couples, as well as single men and women pursuing parenthood. Our entire team will work with you to help achieve your family-building goals.
Infertility Diagnosis and Treatment
If you have not conceived after 12 months of trying, an infertility consultation may help answer your questions. Our reproductive endocrinologists will review prior testing, recommend tests to establish a diagnosis, and begin planning your treatment. Our urologists are trained to identify and treat conditions that cause male infertility.
We offer a full range of infertility treatments, including:
Fertility medications
In vitro fertilization (IVF)
Artificial insemination
If infertility is caused by uterine fibroids, endometriosis, or another condition, we may recommend additional treatment, including surgery.
Treatment for you and your partner may also include one or more low-tech options, such as:
Nutrition counseling
Psychological counseling
LGBTQ+ Fertility Options
There are many ways to build a family, and we will review all fertility options with you. These may include donor eggs or sperm, a gestational carrier, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and in vitro fertilization (IVF).
