No matter how many setbacks, questions, or difficulties we faced, she remained compassionate and encouraging and was committed to helping us build our family. Her confidence and persistence gave us hope when we felt most discouraged. Thanks to her attentive care, we welcomed our first child through IVF. Even more surprisingly, after our successful IVF treatment, we recently conceived naturally with SGF's support. I scheduled the appointment three weeks in advance. Then, two days before the appointment, they called to say they did not accept my insurance. That was the one question I asked when I booked it! A complete waste of time and energy, and I took a day off work for nothing.

I am incredibly grateful to the entire SGF staff, especially Michaela and Dr. Imudia, who supported us through this difficult journey with tremendous compassion, positivity, care, and hope. They will always be part of our life story. SGF changed our lives! Thank you to the entire SGF team!

Update: My wife became pregnant with twins after 4 intrauterine insemination (IUI) cycles, and we are incredibly grateful to them for helping us fulfill this dream. Because we knew we could trust Shady Grove for fertility treatment, we decided to choose them again as we tried for our third baby. This experience was much better than before. Over the past 2-3 months, I had multiple appointments with them and was very satisfied each time. I visited both this clinic and the Tampa location several times, and everyone was very kind, considerate, and responsive. The entire process went very smoothly. I do not understand why the experiences were so different, but I appreciate their improvement and am grateful to have had such a positive experience. Original review: I have never had such a terrible experience. I would not recommend this fertility clinic to anyone. My wife and I had been regular patients here for about 6 months, and they made many costly mistakes. The first time, we tried repeatedly to contact them to arrange everything for that month as soon as possible—please note that timing was critical—but received no response. On the fifth attempt, we refused to hang up until we could speak with a nurse. Once we reached someone, they told us we had missed our opportunity and would have to wait another month. They took no responsibility and showed no compassion for our situation. This was entirely their fault. It would not have happened if they had contacted us to schedule everything. Fortunately, the doctor made an exception and allowed us to proceed. However, because of a hurricane, we ultimately could not attend our appointment on time. We understand that this was not their fault, but the earlier situation should never have happened. We therefore had to wait again, and when it was time to schedule, we called them once more. It is worth noting that they promised to contact us the following month to prevent the same problem, but they never kept that promise. Time and again, we were misled by empty promises. This time, they told us they had discovered that a required genetic test had never been completed. Keep in mind that we had already completed one IUI cycle and were supposed to begin a second. In other words, without this test, we could potentially have become pregnant twice with no issue. We had now reached the critical point in the month when the test had to be completed, but they refused to schedule any other procedures until it was done. Of course, we scheduled the test immediately, but because of their mistake, we now had to miss another IUI cycle. This was their responsibility, not ours, yet we had to go through the same distress and another delay in the process. It was deeply unfair to us, and being let down again was extremely upsetting. Preparing for pregnancy at a fertility clinic should be an exciting experience for a couple. We feel they completely ruined this part of our journey. We simply wanted to feel confident that they would fulfill their responsibilities to us and hoped they could show that this was not a widespread problem.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My husband and I are deeply grateful to everyone at Shady Grove Fertility. After a long wait, we are finally pregnant, thanks to the attentive guidance of the SGF team. This was an excellent experience for me. In my opinion, Shady Grove Fertility in Wesley Chapel, Florida, is the best fertility clinic. I have great respect for everyone there, especially nurse Jessica Soto and Dr. Imudia.

They told us by phone that they accepted my wife’s insurance, and we submitted all the documents. When we arrived for the appointment, however, we were told they did not accept it. We drove an hour and took a day off work. We had finally begun to feel hopeful about meeting a professional and creating a fertility plan, only to leave disappointed. My wife was devastated. I was also very disappointed that they had not communicated this in advance.

I am a newer patient at Shady Grove Fertility, and throughout my journey so far, I have been incredibly impressed with the level of care I have received from both Dr. Imudia and Jessica Soto. They are very professional.

Keep all your receipts. They may charge you incorrectly, misallocate your payment, and then send a bill for something you already paid. Even with receipts, resolving the issue can take months. You will be passed around without a resolution, adding unnecessary stress while you are undergoing IVF. The financial problems made the process ten times harder than it should have been—not because we had difficulty paying, but because we paid for every service before treatment began after they repeatedly pressured us to pay, and then they acted as though the bill was valid despite having demanded advance payment.

Shady Grove Fertility truly is the best. Dr. Imudia, Dr. Christine, Jessica Soto, Stephanie, and Michaela form an excellent care team. Stephanie at the front desk greets patients with such a positive attitude, and Olga is by far the best blood draw tech I’ve encountered, she makes the process quick and comfortable. Christine, the APRN, is both efficient and extremely knowledgeable, and Dr. Imudia is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about his patients. I also want to recognize Penny, who was the most thorough nurse I worked with when it came to reviewing lab results and outlining next steps. The only feedback I would share is that it would be helpful if the team took a little more time to explain the why behind each step of the treatment plan. For those new to IVF, understanding the reasoning behind decisions can make the journey feel less overwhelming. Overall, I would highly recommend SGF to anyone considering fertility treatment. For those under 35, their shared risk program is an especially great option

My husband and I just graduated from this clinic. Overall, our experience was excellent. After our first cycle failed, our doctor, Dr. Imudia, developed a great plan. He immediately created a new and highly effective protocol, which I appreciated. Our second cycle succeeded. Everyone at the Tampa and Wesley Chapel offices was friendly and supportive. My favorites were Olga, who drew my blood at Wesley Chapel, and Kristen, who performed our ultrasounds. I love them! They always greeted us with smiles, made me comfortable, and listened to me. We wholeheartedly recommend Shady Grove. From explaining their processes, procedures, and expectations in advance and connecting us with our assigned patient coordinator to our first appointment with Dr. Imudia, we knew we were in good hands. Seven years ago, we thought we would be able to grow our family, but it never happened. We did not seriously investigate the issue until the past year and a half, when we knew we would regret not trying. My obstetric evaluation was normal, and as a first step, Dr. Imudia recommended a urologist to work closely with my husband. The urologist prescribed the right medications to enable my husband to produce sperm. After 9 months of medication—a combination of HCG, Clomid, and an estrogen blocker—we were fortunate to receive a positive pregnancy test, and we are now expecting our son in November! Jessica Poole was our patient coordinator and contacted us monthly. She helped answer every question along the way and, most importantly, respected our decision to postpone further testing for me until we had more answers about my husband. We are deeply grateful to both of them and especially to Dr. Imudia for putting us on the right path and recommending an excellent urologist for my husband. None of this would have been possible without his help. Our only regret is not going to Shady Grove sooner. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
