Words cannot express how grateful I am to PREG. We initially went to another fertility clinic recommended by my OB-GYN and told them about the pain I was experiencing and our infertility. We underwent an infertility evaluation. As a young patient, I was told that I had diminished ovarian reserve but that "everything else looked normal." My pain was dismissed, and we were ultimately left with intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) as our only options, which was incredibly frustrating. We came to PREG for a free second opinion. Dr. Imgrund listened carefully, made me feel heard, and told me that even apart from my fertility goals, I should not have to live in pain. I just had laparoscopic surgery, and she found stage three endometriosis. Finally having an answer for the pain I have endured since my teenage years and the fertility problems we have faced feels like an answered prayer. Although we are still waiting to see what happens, it is incredibly reassuring to know that Dr. Imgrund and the PREG Columbia team are behind us, supporting and advocating for us. We are deeply grateful that God led us to such a caring place, where the doctors, nurses, and staff put patients first.

I highly recommend PREG Columbia. Every early-pregnancy appointment felt like a team effort. They patiently answered my endless questions and understood the anxiety caused by my previous miscarriage. Delivering a healthy baby was a dream come true; I was not even sure it would be possible, and I owe it all to this team. They are truly skilled at turning fear into hope.

I highly recommend PREG. After trying to conceive for several years, my husband and I ultimately underwent IVF at this clinic. Haley was the nurse responsible for our care throughout. She was truly wonderful, and I cannot express how grateful I am. She always made us feel valued and heard, which is rare in healthcare today. I had many questions, and she always answered them patiently without being dismissive. I never had any problems here, whether with billing or contacting staff. All the clinicians and nurses were also very kind. Infertility is one of life's hardest experiences, but PREG made it a little easier.

I needed bloodwork and am afraid of needles, but the women who draw blood in the office were amazing.

It was wonderful to work with a person/team who truly listened to me before, but recently no one has reached out or responded. So far, two IUI attempts have failed. This journey has been difficult for us for years, and the current situation is even more frustrating. The last thing we want is to lose the relationship we have built since last October.

*MY APPOINTMENT WAS ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2024. BUT, I WILL CONTINUE TO REFRESH THIS REVIEW FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER TO SOUND THE ALARM FOR OTHERS.* Do not patron this place for your fertility needs, especially as a woman of color. I called TRICARE and my PCP, filed a complaint and transferred care. I have never been so disrespected and hurt by a medical professional. Dr. John E. Nichols, who is the founder and director, was so insensitive. When I walked into his office, I picked up on his demeanor immediately but, gave the benefit of the doubt because of my deep desire for information, reassurance, and pregnancy after miscarriage. When I sat down, he did not ask for my consent for a resident to come in. He exclaimed that he did not have a chart for me but, as I tried to explain my conditions, he was more concerned with talking than listening. I stopped him immediately, corrected, and reminded him to LISTEN. After that incident, the appointment went fairly well. I thought he was aligned with my goals and listening to my concerns…until he abruptly interrupted and asked “so, why do you want to get pregnant?”. I wish I could copy and paste his tone. This was not asking. This was condescending and rude. He mentioned my health concerns with my thyroid and parathyroid but THAT IS WHY I WAS REFERRED TO HIM! He is a FERTILITY ENDOCRINOLOGIST asking me about my reasons for pregnancy?!?! Instantly, I felt the tears come and told him how insensitive he was. At first, he denied his insensitivity. Then, he gave a backhanded apology of “I’m sorry if I made you feel that way.” Yet again, I corrected him. No, it’s not how I feel- there are just things you shouldn’t say to a woman who’s miscarried, concerned, has thyroid issues and YOU’RE A FERTILITY ENDOCRINOLOGIST WITH AN ENDOCRINE PRACTICE. Not only did I walk out hysterically crying but I felt so low. Like, what did I do to deserve that? What makes matters worse is that, before the appointment ended, I told him that I would never be under his care because of his treatment of patients and turns out, it’s HIS PRACTICE. So, even if I’m not directly under him, I’m still “under him”. I was so excited to come to this appointment and I didn’t imagine I would leave in distress. If you are remotely considering this place, do not go in there alone. Please take a support person for protection and patient advocacy. Please take heed to this warning: A doctor should never make you feel like this, and if they do, LEAVE.

PREG truly lives up to its reputation. Haley, a nurse practitioner, guided us throughout treatment. She and nurses Katelyn and Michaella were outstanding. Dr. Rouleau joined our team midway through, and her confidence was very reassuring. My wife and I underwent reciprocal IVF, and despite a difficult journey, we always felt seen, cared for, and understood by the entire team. Fertility care is deeply personal, and you need a team that is both skilled and compassionate. I cannot imagine going through this with anyone but PREG. We look forward to welcoming our baby boy in July 2026. Thank you to the entire team! We are incredibly grateful.

Every doctor and nurse my husband and I met made us feel completely comfortable at every visit. They were very kind and made us feel like their top priority, not just one of many patients. I am now eight months pregnant with twins and am very grateful to PREG for supporting us on this journey!

From the IVF coordinators and nurses to the front desk and financial teams, I felt genuine support whenever I needed help. My concerns were always taken seriously, and my emotions were handled with care and understanding, even during the most difficult moments. They patiently answered every question I asked, large or small. Their social media is also excellent! The entire team's exceptional service is what truly sets this clinic apart and made it the right choice for me.

My OB-GYN referred me to PREG and told me I might never be able to have children. I first met nurse Haley Pollack, who was outstanding. She listened carefully, cared about me, and helped me understand what was happening in my body, and she truly succeeded. I later briefly met Dr. Kathryn Imgrund and Dr. Joe Nichols, who were also wonderful. I am now nearly 29 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and I am very grateful to Haley and PREG. I would recommend PREG without hesitation!

Everything was well organized. The medical staff were knowledgeable and kind, and appointments ran on time. We had a wonderful experience here.

My husband and I struggled with infertility for four years. In December 2023, we began seeing Dr. Imgrund. She and everyone at PREG were wonderful. We felt completely at ease during appointments and treatment. We completed one IVF cycle in September 2024 and now have a healthy baby girl who is almost two months old. After two years as a PREG patient, I can honestly say this is more than a fertility clinic; it is a place of hope, compassion, and tireless dedication. I arrived with a high BMI, endometriosis, and PCOS, challenges that often make IVF more difficult. Yet I was never made to feel inadequate or hopeless. I underwent four egg retrievals and watched three fellow IVF patients achieve their miracles. Today, I am overjoyed to say that I am finally pregnant with my baby girl. If I could give more stars, I would! During my husband's and my experience with infertility, the PREG Columbia team was the best team I could have hoped for. Dr. Imgrund, Erica, Michaela, and Katelyn never let me lose hope and treated us with extraordinary care and compassion. We underwent IVF, and they supported us through the tears, injections, and stress. I felt that they genuinely cared about us rather than treating us like ordinary patients. I am now 14 weeks pregnant!!! I wish we could stay with PREG throughout the pregnancy. My husband and I had two wonderful experiences with PREG. Dr. Imgrund was always positive and developed a care plan that was perfect for our circumstances. My experience at PREG was exceptional! I was referred there through the military about two years ago. I needed several treatments to remove fibroids, one of the obstacles I had to overcome. I ultimately obtained 7 healthy eggs and am now 8 weeks pregnant! My doctor was Haley. Although some news was not what I hoped to hear, she wanted the best for me and made sure I became pregnant on my first IVF attempt. The staff were very professional and made my experience comfortable. Leaving was bittersweet because I love the staff, but now I can continue bringing my child into the world. We underwent IVF with them in 2022 and successfully conceived my son, who is now two. In 2024, we tried again and unfortunately had 3 failed embryo transfers. Incredible expertise and care! They found an issue that a previous infertility clinic had missed, and it made all the difference. At every step, I felt informed, heard, and supported. They never rushed us and proceeded at our pace. When I wanted to move faster, they accommodated me. When I asked to undergo a procedure they recommended, they found the first available opening that same week! I was glad to complete it so I could heal before trying again. I always had time to ask questions and think. At my most emotional moments, every team member was considerate, honest, and supportive. They truly have compassion for patients. They were very attentive with testing and follow-up. They use the best medical tools and latest technology, attend conferences to share and learn from other specialists, and applied some of that knowledge to my case. My journey has been a roller coaster full of emotions. Preg has been amazing throughout the entire process. They have become a family to my husband and me. We always felt so welcomed every time we went and always looked forward to our appointments. You meet so many people in this process so to have everyone be so kind and sensitive is amazing. Haley was our NP, and we could not have asked for anyone better! She is straightforward and will not butter things up! But she is so knowledgeable and will be your biggest cheerleader. Katelyn and Michaella are the two ladies you will have the most contact with. They are both so helpful, and they respond promptly to any questions you may have (and I had A LOT of them). The lab ladies take the time to get to know you and make you feel comfortable (you will see them often). The front staff ladies and Holly are all amazing as well.
