Dr Cappy Rothman, États-Unis
Le Dr Cappy Rothman est le fondateur du Center for Male Reproductive Medicine et cofondateur de California Cryobank, l’une des plus grandes banques de sperme au monde. Il est urologue certifié et une autorité reconnue aux États-Unis en andrologie, la surspécialité urologique axée sur la santé reproductive masculine, ainsi qu’en banque de sperme humain.
Le Dr Cappy a été pionnier dans l’utilisation de techniques microchirurgicales, du traitement de l’infertilité masculine à la congélation et au stockage avancés du sperme.
Le Dr Rothman a obtenu son diplôme de médecine à l’University of Miami School of Medicine. Il a effectué un résidanat en chirurgie générale au Harbor/UCLA Medical Center de Torrance, suivi d’un résidanat en urologie à l’University of California, San Francisco et d’une formation complémentaire en résidanat d’urologie à la Loma Linda University.
Le Dr Rothman a fait partie du personnel médical du Cedars-Sinai Medical Center et du Century City Hospital, et a été instructeur clinique à UCLA. Il a également été membre de l’Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), créé par Al Gore.
Le Dr Rothman est fellow de l’American College of Surgeons et membre de la Society for Cryobiology, de l’American Society for Reproductive Medicine et de l’American Association of Tissue Banks.

I began seeing Dr. Werthman after poor treatment at another fertility practice. I immediately noticed a major difference: someone took the time to understand us and the problem and discuss options, processes, and more, compared with the assembly-line experience at the other office. He was very personable, friendly, and outgoing and could speak in language you understand instead of medical jargon. We are very happy with the results and our growing family—now two children!

Dr. Werthman is among the best in his field. A prominent fertility specialist who had difficulty treating my condition recommended him.
During my first visit, Dr. Werthman took the time to listen to my story, review my laboratory results, ask questions, and develop a plan to help me achieve my desired fertility outcome quickly. Within a few months, I successfully achieved that outcome and expanded my family :)

Dr. Werthman has been a blessing to my wife and me. With his help, we were able to recover and pursue IVF. I had a microTESE procedure with Dr. Werthman. The procedure went smoothly, and we obtained plenty of usable sperm. I previously had several microsurgical procedures with other doctors that retrieved no sperm, and I thought all hope was lost. Dr. Werthman tried this as a last resort and retrieved not just some sperm, but a large amount. Amazing results. He is also very pleasant and easy to work with, and his staff communicate well. If you are dealing with male infertility, contact him 100%.

My reversal was unsuccessful. I am unsure whether I would do it again. It was challenging in many ways. Good luck to everyone hoping for results. The staff were wonderful and explained everything. It is simply heartbreaking that the reversal did not work for me.

The doctor and his team were wonderful. They explained everything clearly, and the procedure was successful. I had surgery in early July, and my wife was pregnant by September. We had expected it to take several more months for the numbers to improve, so learning that we were expecting a baby was incredibly reassuring.
