Le Dr Justin Houman est urologue et spécialiste, formé en surspécialisation, de la médecine et de la chirurgie de la reproduction masculine. The surgery, including anesthesia, went very smoothly, with no postoperative pain or adverse reactions. Importantly, I could communicate with Dr. Josephson by text after surgery. My recovery was better than expected, and less than three weeks after surgery I was able to mountain bike and ski. I am very glad I chose Dr. Josephson and Cedars Sinai for this RP procedure.

Dr. Bui is a rock star among prostate surgeons and is at the top of his field. When I was diagnosed at age 71 with Gleason 8, my wife and I interviewed several surgeons and chose Dr. Bui, even though he was out of network, because he had performed so many of these procedures with an extremely high success rate. Dr. Bui provided an exceptional level of care and communication. He spared my nerves, prevented erectile problems, and treated my extremely enlarged prostate. Recovery was relatively easy. Eight months later, my PSA is undetectable, I have no sexual problems, and the occasional minor incontinence has now resolved. I am extremely pleased with the treatment and care Dr. Bui provided and highly recommend him.

Scheduling was difficult, and the staff were rude. The doctor left for more than 20 minutes during a painful procedure to see another patient. He returned with a fake smile and denied the reason for the long delay. He was insincere and cold. I refused to schedule any other appointments. This is a very unpleasant place.

The care of the patient is wonderful, mama hadn’t been in for almost 2 years but Dr was very pleasant and treated her nicely, the office staff however, there’s a matter of professionalism that lacks. Not all of course but unfortunately as the old saying goes “righteous suffer for the sins of the wicked” and as they all work together! Bad habits, actions and attitudes are easily followed. Coincidentally, we’re not there to make friends we’re just there so mama can be taken care of and she was.

Under tremendous stress and unable to secure an appointment with a top urologist, we contacted Dr. Houman at Tower Urology, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, on another physician’s recommendation. We were flying back from San Francisco and the clinic was fully booked, but the staff understood the urgency and gave us the first cancellation that afternoon. Dr. Houman saw me immediately, quickly understood the problem, took care of it personally, and had the situation completely under control within ten minutes. He prescribed medication, explained exactly what to do and watch for over the next few days, and scheduled a follow-up a few days later. Within a week, the problem was fully resolved and would no longer trouble me. Dr. Houman is approachable, kind, and consistently encouraging. His entire staff follows his example—an excellent medical team.

I came to Dr. Houman after years of dealing with a painful varicocele, ongoing testicular pain, and growing concerns about fertility. Other doctors brushed it off, but Dr. Houman took the time to truly listen and explain how varicoceles can cause pain and impact sperm quality and hormones. His depth of expertise in microsurgical varicocele repair and testicular pain treatment is obvious. He was thorough, honest, and never pushed unnecessary treatment. The care felt very precise and highly specialized. Since treatment, my testicular pain has significantly improved and my fertility testing showed significant improvement! Just as important, I finally felt confident and supported throughout the process. If you’re dealing with varicoceles, chronic testicular pain, or infertility and want a urologist who genuinely specializes in men’s health, I highly recommend Dr. Houman.

Highly recommended! I saw Dr. Houman for a urinary issue. Most women my age experience leakage, but my problem was the opposite. He was very kind and put me at ease. The receptionist was unprofessional. I called to schedule an appointment and was transferred to another receptionist's voicemail saying she was out of town. I called back and explained that she had transferred me to someone who was away. She became angry and said, “I know what I'm doing.” There was no explanation or assistance. I do not know why she was angry or why she reacted that way. I was simply trying to reach someone to schedule an appointment. I am sure the doctor is excellent, but the receptionist was rude and immature.

I have known Dr. Houman for several years, since switching from my previous urologist. That was an excellent decision. He is always attentive, detail-oriented, and genuinely wants to help me. He helped me avoid an unnecessary biopsy that another urologist had ordered and instead recommended an MRI. Because I was leaving for vacation, the MRI was scheduled for the next day. He is a doctor who cares about his patients. I wish I could meet more doctors like Dr. Houman.

Exceptional doctor and exceptional clinic! Dr. Justin Houman at Tower Urology is an outstanding professional who pays close attention to detail and communicates clearly. When I had my first, and hopefully last, kidney stone, he removed it with a laser and provided excellent follow-up care. I had suffered from testicular pain for three and a half years, and this experience has meant so much to me. Activities such as hiking, weightlifting, and sexual stimulation made the pain worse. It was severe and significantly affected my daily life, forcing me to rest for a day or two and frequently use ice packs. I finally met Dr. Justin Houman, who truly saved me. I recently underwent microsurgical spermatic cord denervation and varicocelectomy with him. My chronic testicular pain has decreased significantly, and my quality of life has improved greatly. I have gradually returned to hiking, weightlifting, and sexual activity. The pain is now very mild and barely affects daily life. I highly recommend Dr. Justin Houman to anyone with chronic testicular pain. He is a true men's health specialist. Dr. Houman truly saved my life. Thank you so much, Dr. Houman!

How did a woman with lifelong recurrent bladder infections find a urologist specializing in male fertility? This is how it happened. When my husband developed prostate problems that can devastate older men, he was referred to Dr. Houman. Dr. Houman resolved his difficulty urinating and, I believe, saved him from a future of permanent catheterization. Naturally, I seized the opportunity to become his patient, and for the first time in my life I went several months without an infection. But the best part of being Dr. Houman's patient is this: when you have trouble, he stays in touch with you. He does not hide behind a wall of nurses. Of course, I highly recommend him. Marilyn B.

A family member struggled with testicular pain for years and was concerned about fertility. I am very grateful we were referred to Dr. Houman. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and had an excellent bedside manner. He diagnosed a varicocele and recommended microsurgical varicocelectomy, and we are very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Houman gave me a new life with an inflatable penile implant. I previously tried Viagra and injections, but nothing compares with this procedure. I am 79 years old and have the youth and enduring sexual desire of a 40-year-old Mick Jagger! If you are hesitant, Dr. Houman is the best and most knowledgeable!
