** Edited as of March 31: At the clinic's suggestion, I called on March 24 to speak with a manager about my experience, but I never received a response. This happens every time I am told to contact a manager. I was the first person I knew to experience infertility, and I am writing this review because I wish someone had shared their experience before I chose Springcreek. My treatment at Springcreek: 3 IUIs, all unsuccessful 2 saline sonograms 1 egg retrieval 1 ERA/EMMA and ALICE 3 transfers: the first was a chemical pregnancy, the second failed, and the third ended in an early miscarriage My experience: I chose Springcreek based on positive reviews, believing they would do everything possible to help me become pregnant. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I decided to write this review after confirming that my remaining embryos had been delivered safely to my new clinic. During all the treatments listed above, I spoke with a physician only twice. After a clear saline ultrasound and normal bloodwork, apart from needing metformin and Synthroid, I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, and investigation into possible causes stopped. I was advised to try IUI and completed 3 unsuccessful attempts. I was then strongly encouraged to proceed with IVF. They told me that based on my age, AMH, and other factors, my IVF success rate exceeded 75% and that I would likely have embryos remaining for future children, avoiding the need to repeat the process. Before beginning IVF, I asked about testing for endometriosis, the only possibility not yet explored. I was repeatedly told no because IVF would still be recommended even if I had endometriosis. I proceeded with IVF and completed 2 transfers. After the second failed, I again asked about endometriosis and was told it would not change anything. I mentioned the noninvasive Receptiva test for endometriosis but was told that all frozen embryo transfer protocols assumed endometriosis, so a positive result would not alter the treatment plan. After my third transfer ended in an early miscarriage, I was told to stop all medication on November 26. I could not speak with a doctor until late January, and my next transfer would not occur until March 6. These waits were common throughout my treatment, and I had to use birth control to manage my cycle during them. The clinic uses a practice called “batching.” This means certain treatments/procedures are performed only on specific days, and your cycle is manipulated to fit their care schedule. During the long wait, I sought a second opinion at another clinic. The new doctor was shocked that endometriosis had not been considered because it significantly increases the chance of miscarriage. I gave her Springcreek's protocol, and given my history and prior bloodwork, she was surprised by it. Additional testing confirmed that I had endometriosis and fluid in my fallopian tube. While waiting for my next Springcreek transfer, I received more evaluation, treatment, and consultation than I had at Springcreek. I also received a transfer date without an extended wait. Before finally transferring clinics, I tried to contact Springcreek to discuss my experience but never received a call back. In hindsight, I feel taken advantage of. My strongest advice to anyone in this situation is to advocate for yourself, obtain a second opinion, and ensure you are fully informed before undergoing expensive treatment.

We are grateful to Emily and her team for everything they did for us after 3 years of struggling with fertility issues. We are now 15 weeks pregnant. Thank you again to everyone at Spring Creek for helping us through our journey. I would recommend them to anyone; the staff are very friendly.

SpringCreek is wonderful. From start to finish, their communication, information, and staff were excellent. You have to visit their main Dayton location for major procedures, but we went there only a few times throughout our journey. The Columbus office handles all routine care. I would definitely recommend SpringCreek to others.

Update: We spoke with the person who actually schedules appointments. She was very kind during our first interaction and even kinder when I was transferred to her about rescheduling. Does every office have its moments? Absolutely, so we will not hold this against them. We were able to get back on the schedule and met with Emily, who was wonderful and gave us extensive information and next steps. We were very relieved to resolve the scheduling confusion! Imagine scheduling a consultation and being quoted $100, then receiving a call the day before saying it will cost $275. Someone was supposed to call back to clarify the fee, but no one did. We attended the visit, and the provider apologized. There were no other available appointments that week, and having to wait another month after planning for this appointment was devastating. Couples have already been through so much. My first appointment was canceled because finance quoted me 2 different prices, which was not a good introduction to the practice. We were both disappointed.

I had a smooth pregnancy and am preparing for a second child. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. I love them.

We had an initial telehealth consultation and were then scheduled for an SIS, laboratory tests, and semen analysis. They collected all the samples first and then took us to a room for the SIS. The doctor came in and said he would not perform the ultrasound because, regardless of the result, he would not provide in vitro fertilization (IVF) to a patient who had previously undergone an ablation. The front desk staff were very friendly and called after we left to say they would discard all our samples because they would not provide services to us. One week later, my husband received an email saying results had been uploaded to his patient portal. Sure enough, a third-party laboratory had completed his semen analysis, and we were stuck with the bill.

Stay away from this place. It is terrible. They do not answer when you call or respond when you leave a message. When you finally reach someone a week later, they pretend they never received your message and that you never called. Honestly, take your money elsewhere. That is what my fiancé and I are doing.

My husband and I love Spring Creek. All the staff are wonderful. We especially love Hillary, Siree, Shealey, Amanda, and Brittany! After years of trying, I am finally pregnant with our first miracle baby, and I cannot wait to return in a few years for our second. They are very kind, take time to explain everything, ensure you are comfortable, and quickly answer any questions or concerns through the portal. I would recommend SpringCreek to anyone struggling to conceive. They truly work miracles!

I find myself writing yet another poor review of SpringCreek Fertility Clinic, 3 1/2 years after I was a patient. This week I received a bill for embryo cryopreservation. 3 1/2 years ago I was notified by the office that my IVF transfer was being canceled due to our only surviving embryo testing abnormally. The woman who called me on that day was unqualified to provide any additional information and was only able to offer us a follow up appointment with Dr. Groll, 2 1/2 months later!, unless we were interested in immediately moving forward with another retrieval procedure. After receiving the bill this week I called SpringCreek half a dozen times, chose different extension options in order to try and reach a live person but ultimately was unable to. I then sent an email to all contacts listed on the invoice. I received a call back today and was absolutely stunned to find out that our only surviving embryo, that tested abnormally therefore wasn't able to be transferred, was still in cryopreservation. Not a single person in 3 1/2 years communicated to my husband and I that the embryo would be preserved after testing abnormally. Hearing that news immediately brought many painful memories for my husband and I back to the surface only to be told that we now needed to sign a disposition form and assume the responsibility of having it notarized for our abnormal, untransferable embryo to be discarded. To say that I am stunned and appalled by the poor management of this fertility clinic is an understatement.

We highly recommend SpringCreek. During an intensely emotional and frightening time in our lives, everyone we met here was supportive, kind, and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed out of the room or as though I was bothering them with a question they had answered countless times. If we could give more than five stars, we would. I am in tears thinking about where we would be without them. Without them, we would not be expecting a baby boy.

We will always be grateful to Springcreek! They are kind and helpful and guide you step by step through infertility. Whatever the situation, they are honest and help you feel reassured and informed at your most vulnerable. Because of them, we have our wonderful boy. They care about you as a person and family, not just about fees.

We are so grateful to them! We became pregnant after our first IVF cycle, and he will turn one in September! The entire process went smoothly, and all the staff were wonderful.

The staff at SpringCreek are amazing. When my husband and I first started there, we felt as though we were entering unknown territory, but they comforted and encouraged us throughout the process. After two IUIs, we are now five months pregnant and expecting our daughter, and we could not be more grateful for everything SpringCreek has done!

I am extremely disappointed with this clinic. I tried IVF twice, but both cycles failed, and they did not explain the process clearly. If you do not want to waste money, I definitely do not recommend this clinic. The staff are pleasant but lack knowledge, and the doctors do not communicate with patients at all.

We started with only 3 embryos and were fortunate to have two healthy boys! Words cannot express our gratitude for the little miracles you gave us.

We started going to Spring Creek in the summer of 2025, first for a consultation and then for intrauterine insemination (IUI). From the first appointment, we felt supported and heard by the entire team. They patiently answered all our questions and quickly developed a plan. Our first IUI was successful, and we are due in July! Graduating from the wonderful Spring Creek Mason team was both joyful and bittersweet. We are truly grateful to them.

Update: We are returning patients. The original review was written about three years ago, before our daughter was born. We are now the proud parents of two children, one aged two years and the other six days. Words cannot express our gratitude to Dr. Groll and the entire Spring Creek team for helping us build and complete our family. We were extremely fortunate to conceive both children with only one egg retrieval and two transfers. I have always strongly recommended Spring Creek and will continue to do so. Original review My husband and I waited until we shared the good news with our family before writing this review. We will always be grateful to the Spring Creek team. Erin welcomed me warmly at every appointment. This journey was already difficult, and she made everything much easier. Nurse Lisa always called proactively with my test results or returned my calls whenever I had questions. Nurse practitioner Julie patiently answered my husband's and my questions and never made us feel uncomfortable for asking. After our successful transfer, I had some bleeding and called them in a panic. Lisa called back and resolved all my concerns. At the next appointment, Julie provided further reassurance. Dr. Groll is highly knowledgeable and willing to answer any question. My husband and I always felt confident that Dr. Groll would develop the best plan for us, which gave us great peace of mind. We are now 20 weeks pregnant and eagerly awaiting our baby's arrival in May. We could not be more grateful. (The baby is kicking as I write this.)

The staff here are amazing! 5/5. They are compassionate, understanding, funny, and charming. This is what I like to see in fertility care! The place is also clean and tidy, and everything is wonderful!

An absolutely amazing experience! I came here to freeze my eggs, and the women there were very welcoming and responsive. I would recommend this place twenty times over!

I am shocked by all the 5-star reviews for this place. My husband was referred here for testing, and we have experienced nothing but frustration. His first visit seemed normal, and they told him how long it would take to get the results. A week later, they called and apparently had not sent his sample out, and it was no longer viable because of the delay. He had to go back, take more time off, and put himself in an uncomfortable situation again because they failed to ship it. Now that he has the results, he signed an authorization for them to be sent to my doctor so we could understand what they meant for both of us and how to proceed. My doctor said Spring Creek told her there was not enough of the sample to obtain results. He also spoke with the andrologist, who said that made no sense because he already had the results. When he asked Spring Creek about it, they said they did not know what he was talking about, that they had sent the results, and that they would do nothing further unless he paid a $50 consultation fee. We do not need a consultation; we know what his results mean. We need them sent to a doctor who can help us develop a plan to move forward. This is about Spring Creek exploiting people's desire to have children to squeeze every possible dollar out of them. I just want to move on and never deal with this place again, especially when it already concerns such a frustrating time in our lives.

The experience there was absolutely terrible. First, they lost my specimen, so I had to return. Then they overlooked the billing and charged me for the lab results, leaving me with double fees. Spring customer service essentially said it was my responsibility. Even though I asked where I should pay, they told me I would receive a bill and never explained advance payment. An absolutely terrible experience, and I will never go back.

If I could give Springcreek -1000 stars, I would. Do not go here. The media needs to seriously investigate its discriminatory practices. I first came here alone for an initial consultation about egg freezing, blood work, ultrasound, and other testing. A few months later, I found a split egg donation company to work with, allowing me to freeze my eggs and donate half to a couple. Once I began the process, I returned to the clinic for a second visit, where they performed another blood draw and an instant urine test. I urinated in a cup, and within minutes they called me with a false-positive result for methadone! I have never used drugs in my life and did not even know what methadone was at the time. I asked the nurse, but she said she could not tell me. She then had me sign the result, and I left thinking they would call me later to review it. I Googled methadone in my car and was shocked. They then told me that because I tested “positive,” I was permanently barred from working with them again under Dr. Groll's policy and his decision about how to run his clinic. I asked whether they could review my blood test and recent blood work, which surely would show no signs of drug use, but was told, “Because you tested positive for methadone, we decided not to send your blood work because you would be charged for it.” I was never given a choice or notified that they would not run my blood work. The next day, I saw my PCP at my own expense and provided a laboratory-verified urine sample that required actual processing time; of course, it was negative. Yet after weeks of back-and-forth with the clinic, Dr. Groll still refused to accept me as a patient or even acknowledge that the original “test” was a false positive. There are many problems with using an instant urine sample and treating its result as the sole basis for a final decision, especially when I retested at my own expense with proper laboratory verification and obtained a more accurate result. Given my lifestyle, health, other blood work, medical history, medication list, and everything else they could review showing that I had never used drugs or been in recovery, their continued refusal to work with me was completely disgusting and illogical, and grounds for legal action. The lack of communication was also infuriating because I had to learn everything secondhand through my egg donation company. Dr. Groll seems to have his own agenda regarding women's health and reproduction. They told me their clinic had never handled a split donation before. They also had access to my medication list and knew that the antidepressant I take can cause false positives! It is also worth noting that both I and the intended parents receiving the eggs are Asian. If you are a person of color, take any type of antidepressant, or simply have a uterus, do not come here. Stay far away!!!!

My first IVF cycle ended in a failed embryo transfer with no result. My treatment plan was not personalized, and I felt like just a number.

My journey has only just begun! Because an appointment was available, I had an SIS at the Mason clinic on January 2, and I want to thank all the staff and the team there. I was extremely emotional throughout because the experience itself carries so much weight. The doctor performing my SIS explained what she was doing and what she saw as she went. It was a very compassionate experience, and I could not stop crying. I appreciate everything they did for me during the visit. They were very kind and attentive. I wish I knew their names. The women at the front desk (one was blonde and wearing a mask) immediately made me laugh and feel comfortable. The nurse assisting the doctor was also kind (a brown-haired woman with glasses).

After multiple pregnancy losses and tremendous emotional stress, my husband and I began our IVF journey. We evaluated many clinics and consulted doctors from Cincinnati to Columbus. Eventually, we discovered Springcreek. From speaking with the doctor to our first clinic visit, we knew this was where we belonged for our fertility journey. The doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants all shared one quality: they genuinely cared about me and my journey. Whenever I felt stressed, had questions, or simply needed a shoulder to lean on, they were there. The entire process was smooth and well organized. The women at the Mason office truly became like family. I cannot imagine a better support system or group of friends. I am happy to say that, because of their love and support, I am now pregnant with my beautiful IVF baby. My husband and I will always be grateful to this clinic and consider it part of our family. If you are in pain, feel lost on your fertility journey, or are struggling with fertility concerns, this is the clinic for you. Thank you, Springcreek, for everything!

After three failed inseminations at another clinic, my husband and I felt very discouraged and, honestly, received little support. The care felt very limited. The main “plan” was for both of us to take numerous vitamins, and the staff often seemed overwhelmed and unable to keep up. We knew we needed a change. After reading many positive reviews, we decided to transfer to SpringCreek Fertility, and it was unquestionably the best decision we made. From the beginning, they listened carefully to our needs and developed a clear, thorough, personalized plan. I started medications, including progesterone injections, and for the first time we felt we were receiving proactive, individualized care. The SpringCreek staff are exceptional. Everyone we encountered was kind, compassionate, and genuinely invested in our fertility journey. At every step, we felt supported, informed, and cared for. Thanks to SpringCreek, we became pregnant after our second insemination, and I am now holding my perfect one-week-old baby boy. We are incredibly grateful and will continue recommending SpringCreek Fertility to everyone trying to conceive.
