The finance department is extremely disorganized, with no internal coordination at all! They processed my payment without making a single note, then kept saying I had not paid the outstanding balance, so they would not schedule my embryo transfer. This seriously delayed the process! No one offered any explanation or apology.

I had a great experience. Both of my children were conceived through treatment at this clinic.

The medical care was very poor, and they rushed patients to start treatment. After one failed cycle, they told me at age 32 to use donor eggs.

The clinic is full of intermediaries, cares only about financial gain, lacks professionalism and service, and is poorly managed.

I am very disappointed with this location. I had my first IUI treatment in 2023, then paused treatment because of certain circumstances. I decided to restart this year and called to make my first appointment. After gathering all my information, Griselda told me they needed to contact my nurse, Tiffany Tseng, whom I had seen at the clinic in 2023. Later that afternoon, Griselda called and said I was not a suitable candidate for IUI. Honestly, hearing that when you are trying to become pregnant is heartbreaking. I will definitely not return.

Absolutely the best fertility clinic. They make a difference for everyone. They helped my daughter with her embryo transfer. ♥️🥰♥️

My experience at this fertility clinic was very disappointing. It was clear that the doctors were more interested in making money than genuinely helping patients conceive. The process felt like an assembly line rather than personalized care. Dr. Wilcox only saw me at intake, performed basic fertility tests, and prescribed medication during the critical period when I was injecting hormones, with no follow-up or monitoring. After that, I was simply scheduled for retrieval. When the retrieval results were less than satisfactory, he recommended repeating the same protocol without any additional testing or medication adjustments to improve the outcome. No embryo viability testing was performed, even though this is standard practice at other clinics. Although the clinic looks attractive, it is packed with patients, clearly showing that profit takes priority over outcomes. I strongly recommend seeking fertility treatment elsewhere. This clinic does not provide the care and attention needed for such a sensitive and important journey.

The building's security guard, assigned by this branch, was rude and confrontational. They did not want to address it. The staff here are not very nice. They did not tip the Grubhub driver appropriately despite the wait and their huge order. I had to make two trips to my car because of the large order. Avoid delivering here.

One of the main reasons I chose HRC Pasadena for egg freezing was Dr. Molly Quinn. Providers like Dr. Quinn are hard to find. She is intelligent, approachable, professional, and genuine. I was very nervous, but knew I would be well cared for when I met her. She immediately answered every email and made me feel cared for throughout the process. HRC is very lucky to have her. I was mainly under Dr. Quinn's care, but Dr. Gig also handled some monitoring appointments and seemed very kind. I am also very grateful to Alondra, my coordinator. She responds well to emails and is the sweetest. I had minor consultation/scheduling issues at first, possibly due to poor communication between the main call center and front desk. I gave 4 stars because the financial coordinator was difficult to reach.

The best care. I am a challenging patient, and even if we had not succeeded, I would have felt that we had done everything possible. Many thanks to Dr. Wilcox and the staff.

Dr. Wilcox ignored my chart and age and prescribed too much medication. When I was brought in for overstimulation, he said, “This is the worst case I have seen in ten years. Because you are young, I probably could have done less,” then walked out. I needed a wheelchair and was sick for a week. I only truly spoke with him twice and was passed among different nurses. My sister-in-law froze her eggs at the same time and had a better experience at every step. Now I continue receiving bills even though I paid everything, which is confusing and prolongs the terrible experience. Please go elsewhere. What should have lasted only one day left me suffering for a week. -------- After this terrible experience, I learned their egg-storage price increased by $150 in just one year! This place is predatory and will extract every dollar from you. I tell all my friends not to go; please listen to the reviews. Billing is the only department that answers the phone.

Dr. Llarena, Melody, and their team provided outstanding support during my fertility treatment. Their accessibility and responsiveness, especially Melody's, were excellent. From our first meeting, it was clear that Dr. Llarena is very compassionate and highly knowledgeable in her specialty. After every ultrasound, she sat down, took a breath, and asked what questions we had—as though she had all the time in the world—then answered each one in detail. She is patient, kind, and intelligent. I referred a friend to her, and my friend loves her too! Finally, being able to have blood drawn quickly was especially wonderful. I will always be grateful to phlebotomists Abby and Hasmik, who always smiled at me when I was nervous.

I had an incredible experience at HRC Fertility in Pasadena and cannot recommend them highly enough! From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. The atmosphere was calm, warm, and reassuring, which matters greatly during such a personal journey. Dr. Kolb and my nurse coordinator, Vikki, took time to explain every step of IVF and addressed all my questions patiently and clearly. Their expertise was evident, and I felt confident in their care. They tailored my treatment plan to ensure it matched my needs and goals. Throughout the process, Vikki communicated well and kept me updated on progress and next steps, which I deeply appreciated. The supportive environment and staff professionalism made a potentially overwhelming experience much easier to navigate. Thanks to Dr. Kolb and Vikki, I am now 4 months pregnant and doing well! I am sincerely grateful for their dedication and compassionate care. If you are considering fertility treatment, I strongly recommend this clinic, especially Dr. Kolb!

After unsuccessfully trying to conceive, I felt lost and distressed. I found Pasadena Fertility Clinic by chance. The doctor was professional and patient, carefully analyzed the treatment plan, and gave me confidence. The nurses were gentle and caring, comforting me during treatment and helping me persevere. I became pregnant successfully, and my baby is now one week old. I am so grateful to the clinic!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Molly Quinn, her outstanding assistant Josephine, and the entire HRC staff. From my first appointment, I felt genuinely cared for and supported. Dr. Quinn has an excellent bedside manner—she is warm and compassionate and always answers my questions patiently, thoroughly, and clearly. Josephine was equally excellent: organized, highly responsive, and genuinely kind. Together, they made the entire treatment process feel easy and even empowering. It is clear that both go above and beyond for their patients. I am deeply grateful for their guidance and support. I highly recommend Dr. Quinn and her team!

This was my first surrogacy journey, and I felt supported by everyone! All my questions were answered, and I am very happy with my decision and with working with this team. I look forward to another journey. Thank you!!

I had a very positive experience working with everyone at HRC. Hillary was wonderful to work with, and I would recommend HRC to anyone undergoing fertility treatment. I am now pregnant, and the process went smoothly.

As a surrogate, my first embryo transfer was at Fertility & Surgical Associates of California in Thousand Oaks, and it was successful. They were highly professional, guided us through the process step by step, and explained how everything should proceed. This location is my new surrogacy clinic, and it falls far short of my first experience. If I could, I would have the intended parents change clinics and use the one I attended before. This experience was strange. They asked me to arrive early, but we waited in the lobby far beyond the scheduled transfer time. We thought they had forgotten me. The clinic was overcrowded and felt like an assembly line, as another reviewer described perfectly. The transfer itself was strange and somewhat uncomfortable. My assistant said nothing; she simply began pressing on my bladder in awkward silence, and Dr. Wilcox looked as though he was asleep. My husband and I did not feel good about the experience. The office is beautiful, but unprofessional. Overall, we were very dissatisfied. I underwent another transfer because the previous embryo did not implant. I will update this review with more details about the second transfer. Update on the second attempt. This time was definitely much better. I had a different nurse—thank goodness!—who was much nicer and more willing to explain the process. We came early this time, so Dr. Wilcox seemed more relaxed, outgoing, and talkative. Perhaps it is better to be an early patient than a late one. My embryo implanted this time, and I look forward to the new journey! If you feel uncomfortable or have a poor experience, do not be afraid to report it. Tell the clinic. This is an extremely important and difficult process that you undergo with your own body, and you deserve a good outcome! You are essential to keeping the clinic running. Whatever type of patient you are, you deserve respect here and at every fertility clinic!

I completed three successful surrogacies with Dr. Wilcox! He and his team were always kind, explained everything thoroughly, and made me comfortable asking questions. Dr. Wilcox also performed my own egg retrieval and explained each step carefully to my husband and me. I love Dr. John Wilcox and HRC Pasadena ❤️

This was my first journey as a surrogate, and I am glad I chose this place. The wonderful team was helpful and kind. Thank you for giving me an excellent experience while helping another family become complete ♥️

My experience at HRC was wonderful. I completed two straightforward embryo transfers with Dr. Wilcox. Each first transfer succeeded; I know this is not always the case and am grateful that only one IVF round was needed each time.\nThe entire staff was supportive and helpful, making everything easier. I will continue recommending HRC to intended parents.

This review is long overdue. Watching my 15-month-old sleep reminds me how grateful we are to Dr. Molly Quinn and Josephine Lai, whose expertise and care guided every step of our fertility journey.\n\nMy journey with Dr. Quinn began in 2019 when we discussed my biological clock. Her warmth, meticulous care, and thoughtful guidance impressed me immediately. She reviewed my results carefully and supported egg freezing with clarity and empathy, never rushing or pressuring me. Our trust grew over time.\n\nAfter a natural pregnancy ended in miscarriage, we returned for IVF. Her skill and precise attention to detail were vital to our success. In the operating room, she showed calm confidence, technical excellence, and deep reproductive-medicine expertise.\n\nNo words or embrace can express our gratitude to Dr. Quinn for the gift of our son. We plan to return for our remaining embryos and feel reassured that they are in such exceptional, compassionate hands. HRC is fortunate to have her; she is truly one in a million.\n\nWe must also recognize the wonderful Josephine Lai. She was like an unexpected field of yellow sunflowers, bringing joy and positive energy to a difficult journey. Her enthusiasm and encouragement made every HRC visit hopeful.\n\nShe gave clear, thoughtful guidance without judgment or pressure. Talking with her felt like talking to an uplifting, grounded friend. Her personal care included sharing yellow Buddhist-style prayer beads and encouraging me to find my own symbol of strength. HRC is fortunate to have Josephine. Her care and encouragement were essential to our success, and I will always be grateful.

Our experience at HRC has been amazing. The staff they have there is top notch and I have to give a shout out to Vicky who was our nurse and like our case manager. She was on top of everything, explained everything to my wife and made sure she understood the assignment. Even when my wife was having difficulty during her first pregnancy, Vicky was always there quick to respond and or accomodate us into a quick appointment to calm our nerves. Dr Kolb is one of the best, takes his time and is very methodical in his approach and doesn't try a "cookie cutter' approach but an individualized approach because not everyone is the same. We've been surrounded by people that have gone to Dr. Kolb and his team, and it's all praise. Thank you HRC, Dr. Kolb , Vicky and the countless people at HRC that have given us our lil miracles.

I'm a first-time surrogate mother. I was afraid at first, but the team at my agency made me feel confident and guided me every step of the way, making this process seamless from start to finish. I consider it a very good agency to work with because they support us at all times, regardless of the language or state we live in. The agency has many people who will accompany and guide you and are properly trained to achieve positive results and ensure you have a quality experience. Working with California Baby Surrogacy is an extraordinary experience, and I'm happy I found this agency.

Our experience at HRC Fertility was wonderful. From the beginning, we felt that the team, including the nurses, doctors, and staff, was caring and fully committed to helping us. Dr. Wilcox was especially exceptional. He patiently answered all our questions and made us feel very well cared for. The clinic operated efficiently, and the staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. We were always greeted with smiles and felt the team's warmth and trust. The clinic uses the latest technology to achieve results, which reassured us. We felt treated like family, making the entire process much easier. We highly recommend HRC Fertility for its expertise, dedication, and compassionate care.

Dr. Molly Quinn—a true miracle worker at HRC Fertility Pasadena When I found Dr. Molly Quinn, my AMH was only 0.1—an extremely low ovarian reserve—and most doctors would have declined my case. Even knowing how challenging it was, Dr. Quinn did not give up hope for me. She respected my determination, guided me step by step, and applied her best medical judgment throughout. With her exceptional skill, we ultimately succeeded—it truly felt like a miracle. I am 39 and one of two sisters; my older sister has never had children, so my family was counting on me. Dr. Quinn’s patience and expertise brought us joy and hope. The egg retrieval I feared most became the easiest part of the process—her gentle, precise technique made it completely painless and smooth. I had no pain, bleeding, or discomfort afterward. I am now preparing for my second cycle next month and am grateful to continue this journey with Dr. Quinn and her excellent nurse, Ms. Chen, who has always been patient and supportive. Dr. Quinn truly makes the impossible possible, and I will always be grateful for her compassion and skill. 🌸

My therapist encouraged me to write this review as part of my healing. If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would. Avoid it at all costs. I previously posted an honest review, and they accused me of being a fake account… classic gaslighting intended to silence a patient rather than take responsibility. Fifteen years ago, I was a patient of Dr. Nelson at Huntington Reproductive Center (HRC). He repeatedly canceled my IVF cycles and converted them to IUI without ever explaining the real reason. I later learned that I had diminished ovarian reserve, a diagnosis that was never clearly disclosed at the time. Those decisions cost me years, money, and emotional stability. The entire process felt profit-driven rather than patient-centered. There was no transparency, compassion, or honesty. Thankfully, I found another doctor who was candid about my condition and gave me real choices. I am now a mother… not because of HRC. If you are seeking fertility treatment, go elsewhere. Do not waste valuable time in a system that treats patients like numbers rather than people.

I highly recommend Dr. Larreina. She was exceptional throughout my fertility journey—knowledgeable, honest, thoughtful, and genuinely caring toward her patients. She knows the IVF field inside and out, always clearly explains the best treatment options, and never made me feel that my questions were foolish or unimportant. Before meeting her, I had seen five different doctors, and I can confidently say that she is the one I trust completely. Her entire team, especially Melody, is also wonderful—supportive, responsive, and genuinely kind. I am extremely grateful to have found her and would not choose anyone else to guide me through this fertility journey.

I had a wonderful egg-freezing experience at HRC Fertility. Dr. Quinn was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely supportive throughout, always taking time to explain every step. Nurse Josephine was also excellent—gentle, thoughtful, and attentive, making every visit feel easy and comfortable. Their professionalism and genuine care made an essential difference during what can be an overwhelming journey. From start to finish, I felt safe, reassured, and well cared for. I am very grateful to Dr. Quinn and Nurse Josephine for such a positive and reassuring experience. I also loved the women at the front desk :)

I am very grateful to Dr. Molly Quinn and Josephine for making my IVF experience at HRC so positive. My husband and I did extensive research and consulted several doctors before choosing a clinic, but after meeting Dr. Quinn, we knew HRC was the right choice. She patiently answered all our questions—and we had many—and listened carefully to our concerns. She was kind and genuine throughout the process. We never felt rushed, and I always felt well cared for. Josephine was wonderful to work with. She responded to emails very quickly, so I never had any problems with injections or treatment. She was always kind and made everything much easier. I am now 12 weeks pregnant after our first transfer and am very happy with my experience at HRC. I highly recommend Dr. Quinn!

This review is long overdue because I have been fortunate enough to experience the exhaustion and joy of new motherhood. I delayed writing because words truly cannot express my gratitude and affection for Dr. Kolb, his team, and everyone at HRC Fertility. My husband and I had the privilege of working with Dr. Bradford Kolb and his team. I am a busy independent retail pharmacy owner, and my husband is an active-duty Air Force service member stationed overseas. Dr. Kolb, his nurse Vikki, and the rest of HRC Fertility gave me tremendous support. For more than a year, I experienced their warmth and empathy. Dr. Kolb and Vikki were always honest about risks, chances of success, and the plan most likely to give our family the best outcome. Although infertility was difficult, I am glad I approached it with an open mind and understood that having a child still depends on chance and a higher power. Still, I knew I had a dedicated team with a plan to improve our chances. From the moment I stepped out of the elevator, the front desk warmly greeted me by name and always smiled. The wonderful phlebotomists encouraged me during blood draws. At every visit, Vikki, Dr. Kolb, and his nurse Katy stood by me, encouraged me, and gave me the support I needed while going through the process alone during my husband's service. The financial team also offered me “options” at checkout. For more than a year, they made me feel like family, cared for, and as though my case, success, and happiness truly mattered. Even after I successfully graduated at 10 weeks, they welcomed me back to visit, and I plan to return once my baby is about four months old and has received most vaccinations. To anyone facing infertility, I understand how difficult the journey is. If you keep an open mind, you will find that working with Dr. Kolb's team and HRC Fertility can be an excellent experience. I wish I had more words to express my gratitude, especially for how they supported me at my lowest moments. I am profoundly grateful to them!

I just completed treatment with Dr. Mabel Lee and am extremely pleased with the highly successful outcome. My recovery was also quick, thanks to Dr. Mabel Lee's exceptional skill. I am very grateful for her attentive care and steadfast support throughout treatment. She was professional, knowledgeable, focused, and dedicated to carrying out my personalized plan. She understood and listened to my concerns and remained calm, exceptionally professional, and focused on my results. I will definitely return to her in the coming years. Special thanks also to my team coordinator, Gladys. She gave me tremendous care and comfort, always responded promptly to my questions, and offered many warm hugs that helped me through the physically and emotionally difficult stages of treatment. Dr. Lee, Gladys, and the PASLee care team helped me remain optimistic and realistic. Although the process was difficult, especially from cycle days 5-6 onward, knowing that Dr. Mabel Lee, my nurse coordinator, and the team would support and comfort me kept me going. Rachel, Cynthia, and Nanette were also very kind and patiently explained how to prepare the medications. I highly recommend Dr. Mabel Lee at HRC Fertility Pasadena and plan to stay in touch with her! :D Dr. Mabel Lee at HRC Fertility is an angel! Thank you so much, Dr. Lee, Gladys, and the PASLee care team! :D The nurses and anesthesiologist at RSA were also outstanding. They made me comfortable and were highly skilled and thoughtful. Thank you so much!

Terrible experience. Everyone, including the doctor, seemed like a money-making machine. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes with us, barely reviewed the medical history, asked a few rushed questions, and immediately moved on to promoting services. After the examination, the doctor disappeared. Sales and finance staff then arrived and directly recommended IUI, even though the doctor had said we could consider medication first. I do not know what they were thinking; perhaps they only wanted more money. This organization is extremely irresponsible! I wasted $300 and will definitely switch providers. Unless you do not mind being treated like a fool, stay away 🙄🙄🙄🙄

    Very bad.
    Feb 23, 2026
At 39, I will be honest: my physical condition is not ideal. Every month, I am reminded how fragile this process is and how easily hope can disappear. Yet every month, Dr. Quinn renews my hope through her exceptional skill and precise judgment. Frankly, I am the kind of woman many clinics would view pessimistically. The process is long and slow, with a low chance of success. That is the reality of extremely diminished ovarian reserve. But Dr. Quinn never gave up on me. From the beginning, she was honest. She told me this could be a long road, with low success rates and slow progress. But when I told her I wanted to persist and succeed no matter what, she supported me throughout. She did not dismiss me or make me feel that wanting to try was unrealistic. Instead, she stayed with me throughout, supported me through every cycle, and did everything possible to help me achieve the best outcome. My situation is very specific: severely diminished ovarian reserve, a very fast-paced life, and a strong desire to have my own child someday. If you freeze your eggs early by choice rather than necessity, I have no advice to offer. You are on the right path. But if you are like me and did not realize that waiting until your late 30s to freeze your eggs would substantially reduce fertility, trust me: Dr. Quinn is the best choice in Los Angeles.
    Feb 21, 2026
I was shocked to see another patient with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) rate Dr. Quinn so highly. My experience was terrible. Despite my being 38 and having had two miscarriages, she did not order an anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) blood test. We then wasted what may have been my final good months on a saline ultrasound and two months of procedures that could have been completed in one if properly planned. Later, when I responded poorly to medication, she reluctantly agreed to order blood tests. Did she adjust my treatment plan? Barely. When I failed to respond a second time, she told me I might consider donor eggs in a few years. She offered no other medication options and did not discuss the decision with me. I felt like a liability to their statistics and was abandoned. HRC, however, was happy to hold my nearly $10,000 deposit for several months. After four months, I finally received a refund of about 90%. If you are over 35, I advise you to consider this clinic very carefully. Delays, a lack of individualized care, and inconsistent service may cost you far more than money.

Julia on the finance and billing team is amazing! She answered all my questions clearly and efficiently, making everything easy to understand. She was a lifesaver—thank you, Julia!

Dr. McDaniel barely listened to me. Instead, she lectured me at length about how terrible and damaged my body was because of my condition. She then performed an invasive ultrasound and continued telling me how bad my body was. It was humiliating. After the ultrasound, they put me alone in a room with a financial adviser, who yelled at me that my insurance would cover nothing. Do not come here. They are not doctors but cold salespeople who only want your money.

Dr. Quinn, I have been thinking about how to thank you. Honestly, this cycle was not merely clinical; it was creative. When everything departed from the “expected” course—even without a menstrual period—you did not wait for the calendar. You interpreted the physiology, trusted your judgment, adjusted the protocol, and created a miracle when almost no hope remained. This ability to rely on insight rather than convention is rare. Eight months ago, I could feel the uncertainty. Today, I see something entirely different: persistence, precision, and the determination to keep trying thoughtfully and strategically until a way forward emerged. Obtaining two mature eggs under these circumstances feels like a small miracle 🩷, and I know it was not chance, but your expertise. On a lighter note, I still think your surname is missing an “e,” because this was truly work fit for a queen. Thank you for not giving up on the process or on me. With heartfelt thanks, Niloufar

My husband and I spent considerable time researching fertility clinics before choosing Dr. Molly Quinn at USC/HRC Pasadena. We reviewed Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) data, read countless reviews, and had several consultations, but after meeting Dr. Quinn, our decision was immediate. Dr. Quinn is professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and practical. We especially appreciated her honesty and evidence-based approach. She never gave false hope, but respected our wishes and encouraged us to advocate for ourselves. She presented the facts, offered recommendations, and let us decide what was best for us. She was also highly responsible and responsive—most impressively, she personally performed my first egg retrieval during her weekend off. We also loved working with her coordinator, Josephine. Fertility treatment can be stressful, and Josephine's kindness, responsiveness, and organization were invaluable. She always replied promptly, handled every detail, and gave us genuine reassurance throughout. HRC is a large, busy clinic that can sometimes feel overwhelming, but we chose it because we valued its experience and expertise. From what I understand, experiences vary by physician. We are also very grateful to Maria in billing, who helped with insurance and encouraged us to submit claims we thought would not be covered, saving us a substantial amount. Three years ago, we had a successful embryo transfer and now have a mischievous toddler. I returned to transfer our frozen embryo and am now 30 weeks pregnant. I delayed writing this review because I worried Dr. Quinn would receive too many requests, but now that our family is complete, I do not want to stand in anyone's way! We are incredibly grateful for the care and support and highly recommend Dr. Quinn and Josephine.

After a long fertility journey, I am profoundly grateful for the care Dr. McDaniel and the team provided. From the first consultation through IVF treatment and ultimately pregnancy, I consistently felt supported, cared for, and guided. Dr. McDaniel patiently answered my questions, explained every step of treatment in detail, and developed a plan that gave me confidence and hope. The staff were professional, thoughtful, and responsive, making a potentially stressful fertility journey much easier. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, I am now preparing to welcome my baby and will always be grateful. I highly recommend Dr. McDaniel to anyone experiencing infertility or considering fertility treatment. They truly changed my life and helped me achieve my dream of becoming a mother.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ghadir and his team, including Amber and others. Every appointment was on time and informative. Everyone was easy to reach, and egg freezing was very affordable: the event cost $7,500! What a bargain. I am grateful for this opportunity.

Freezing my eggs with Dr. Hackman was a wonderful experience. She was highly informative and made me comfortable throughout the process—everything you want in a doctor. The nursing staff were also kind and patient. I am grateful for my experience with Dr. Hackman and highly recommend her!

I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Ghadir and his team. I had many worries, but Dr. Ghadir put me at ease during the consultation and was supportive and communicative throughout. His nursing staff were attentive and gentle, making all the testing easier. My nurse, Amber, was very helpful, sent updated medication protocols, and quickly answered emails about any concerns. I appreciated the clear egg-freezing package options and knowing the financial responsibility from the beginning. I chose the Nest package, and the process was seamless. I am very happy with my results and trust that I will receive excellent care when I return to continue growing my family!

Dr. Ghadir and his team, especially Amber and Jennie, were attentive, respectful, and thoughtful throughout the process. I had many questions but never felt like a burden! Their prompt communication and responses to emails and calls impressed me, and I never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. 5 stars are not enough!

Dr. VanHise and Marianne McClugkin make a wonderful team. From start to finish, they made sure I felt prepared, supported, and genuinely cared for. They checked in regularly, listened carefully to my symptoms, and provided excellent care before and after the procedure. My egg-freezing experience was smooth and reassuring, and I would choose them again for future fertility treatment. I especially appreciated learning more about my body and its response to hormones. Dr. VanHise took an educational approach during ultrasounds and medication discussions, explaining not only what we were doing but why, so I understood every step. On procedure day, I felt calm, prepared, and confident. Marianne was very supportive, hands-on, communicative, and kind. She explained the injection process step by step until I felt completely comfortable. I am sincerely grateful to Dr. VanHise and Marianne and recommend them without hesitation. Thank you, VanHise team!!!

Thank you, Dr. Hakman!!! I began IVF at 43, and 18 months later I am nearly 45. We first saw another highly regarded doctor said to treat many celebrities, but did not get the results we wanted. Although he was nice, I did not feel he took time to understand my situation or guide us. Everyone is different, and I felt I should not take up his time with questions. Our first retrieval produced 20-22 eggs but no usable embryos, and he immediately recommended donor eggs. After three rounds with him, we had only one euploid embryo. We then went to HRC in Beverly Hills. Dr. Hakman explained, based on my strong ovarian reserve and the data, that I was exactly the kind of patient who should keep trying. She showed me a chart of the average number of eggs needed per embryo by age—about 45 eggs at age 44—and stressed that this was only an average. Her careful explanation helped set expectations and prepare me for multiple retrievals. I understood that it was a numbers game and that continued retrievals could eventually yield good embryos. She also recommended improving my husband's sperm quality and seeing a urologist. This added 2-3 months but worked. After his sperm improved, two retrievals with Dr. Hakman produced two euploid embryos. She used the same medications as other doctors but kept the doses steadier, making injections much easier and reducing monitoring visits near the end of each cycle. Because I live out of state, this greatly reduced my stress. Dr. Sasha encouraged me throughout, like a cheerleader. She and coordinator Jenny were always reachable by phone or text. Jenny answered at any hour, seven days a week. An unexpected positive endometriosis test delayed transfer for several months while I received treatment. The wait and hormones were difficult, but Dr. Hakman called periodically to check on me. Our first transfer failed, but the second succeeded, and I am now three and a half months pregnant! Thank you, Dr. Hakman and the HRC team!!!

From our first meeting, my husband and I knew Dr. Ghadir was the right choice for us. His confidence and compassion immediately put us at ease, especially after two failed attempts at another clinic. My egg retrieval experience with Dr. Ghadir was completely different, in the best way. The entire HRC team was warm and attentive, and made us feel seen and cared for. Dr. Ghadir helped identify the underlying cause of my infertility, and thanks to him our first transfer was successful. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Ghadir and cannot wait to meet our babies this summer!

I want to share my experience at HRC Fertility in Beverly Hills. I encountered repeated delays and poor communication there, which postponed my egg-freezing process. February 18, 2026: I first contacted them to schedule a follow-up appointment and emphasized that timely communication was very important to me. I received a reply that afternoon, but it came late, which made me begin to worry about the quality of their service. February 24, 2026: After my period began, I urgently needed to know when to come in. I received conflicting instructions—one staff member said to come on cycle day 2 or 3, while my physician, Dr. Wertheimer, had told me to come the day before my period started. I repeatedly asked for clarification but received only vague or delayed replies several days later. That day, I expressed my dissatisfaction and considered switching providers because of the lack of clear guidance, but they took no action and offered no explanation. February 24 to March 18, 2026: The clinic made no contact. March 17-18: The situation remained unchanged. Because my period was approaching, I contacted them. The emails I received were inconsistent, with staff alternately telling me to come 2-3 days early and again 2-3 days early. They had not even communicated with the doctor since the previous month. Because of them, I missed the opportunity to start treatment for two consecutive months. I asked them to confirm with the doctor. The doctor was copied on the emails but did not contact me or provide any explanation for a month. I had to repeatedly press the team to confirm the treatment plan, and even when I raised questions directly, I received no apology or response. March 18, 2026: My next menstrual cycle begins tomorrow, but I am still facing the same problem. I need an immediate appointment, yet I am again caught in vague instructions and repeated delays. I feel frustrated and unsupported, especially during a time-sensitive and emotionally difficult process like fertility treatment. Overall, the repeated poor communication, slow responses, and lack of accountability caused me to lose confidence in the team. For a process requiring precision and empathy, the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. Trusting this clinic delayed my embryo-freezing cycle by two months. I am 36, and based on my test results, my doctor told me the cycle needed to be completed within six months. Two of those six months have now passed, 'thanks' to HRC. The people I dealt with were Ari, Aleesia, and Dr. Wertheimer.
    Mar 25, 2026
The coordination was extremely poor. Dr. Ghadir created a two-month medication preparation plan for us, but the nursing team completely ignored it. They sent the medication without even checking the patient’s menstrual cycle. The written instructions were entirely different from what the doctor told us. Fortunately, a family member caught the mistake in time. This was a major warning sign! We decided not to continue treatment because we did not want to take the risk.

Posting for a friend because they keep inexplicably deleting her review. HRC Fertility’s disregard for patient safety and accountability is alarming. My doctor clearly instructed me to complete a mandatory two-month preparation period with specific supplements before beginning treatment. However, the nurse, Nurse Jenny, completely ignored this medical plan. Without checking my menstrual cycle, physical condition, or health status, she blindly mailed the medications months early. Even more alarming, when I questioned her, the nurse admitted in writing that she was ‘confused’ about my physical condition—after the high-dose medications had already been sent. This was extraordinarily reckless. If I had not been especially vigilant and carefully checked her instructions, I might have started treatment that could have had catastrophic consequences for my health. HRC management promised to resolve the issue by the end of the week, then went silent again. They are trying to withhold $5000, an amount directly resulting from their serious negligence. If you value your health and safety, be aware that this clinic prioritizes moving medication boxes over following the safety protocol prescribed by its doctors.

Choosing Dr. Ghadir was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He developed the best ovarian stimulation protocol for me, and the procedure was very successful, retrieving 31 eggs. With Thomas's careful guidance, I was also able to follow the protocol throughout. He was very attentive before and after the procedure and always responded promptly to my questions. Overall, my experience was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Ghadir—he is the most experienced doctor I have met!

I froze my eggs a week ago, and the experience was perfect! Dr. Ghadir and his team were amazing—thorough, attentive, and considerate. From start to finish, I felt fully informed and supported. I may have sent countless emails before the procedure, but the entire team remained kind and responsive. They addressed all my concerns so well that I immediately knew I had made the right choice. My nurse Ally was also incredible; she will definitely be my future child's godmother. She is truly amazing! Overall, 10/10. Highly recommended!

I believe this is generally a good place, but I was treated rudely from the beginning. The receptionist had the worst attitude I have ever encountered. At first I thought she was simply having a bad day, but when my wife came to deliver a sample the next day, she experienced the same rudeness. It was the person on the left as you enter, but unfortunately I did not get her name... We felt discriminated against. There is no reason to treat others so rudely. If staff members do not like their job, someone else should do it and could do it better. This place should be the beginning of something wonderful, so receiving such unequal treatment was deeply discouraging.

I completed several frozen embryo transfer cycles at this clinic, and after three failed transfers, I no longer trust them to provide IVF patients with the attention, organization, and oversight they deserve. Problems arose throughout treatment, including missing or unclear instructions, forgotten pre-transfer bloodwork, conflicting medication guidance, and errors in the treatment calendar, even though IVF depends entirely on precise timing and coordination. I also had to follow up repeatedly about adjunct treatments such as intravenous intralipid infusions because they did not appear to be actively managed. The level of disorganization was astonishing. I often waited in examination rooms for long periods without any update and eventually had to step out and ask whether anyone was coming, only to be told, 'Oh, you're still here? We thought you left.' After one transfer, they instructed me to keep my legs elevated for 10 minutes and said a nurse would return after setting a timer. Given my previous experiences at this clinic, I set my own timer as well. Twenty-five minutes passed, and no one returned. No one checked on me. No one seemed to notice I was still there. This experience perfectly summarizes how I felt throughout my care: there was no follow-up, no communication, and no attention to detail during one of the most vulnerable medical experiences of my life. After two failed transfers with no clear explanation, I eventually did my own research and suggested a hysteroscopy. After repeated transfer failures, I should not have needed to advocate for further testing myself. At times, I felt like my own case manager instead of a patient receiving coordinated fertility care at a clinic that presents itself as a leader in the field. I constantly had to piece together important information myself while hoping nothing critical had been missed. The financial side was another major problem. The clinic's financial department told me in writing that I would owe no more than $4,520, but I later received a bill for $34,100. The email signature of the person providing these financial estimates identified her as a 'marketing coordinator,' making it difficult to trust that I was receiving qualified financial guidance. A bill tens of thousands of dollars higher than the amount provided to me in writing is completely unacceptable. IVF is already physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. Patients should not also have to worry about missing instructions, forgotten laboratory tests, inaccurate schedules, whether medical records will be withheld in violation of state law, or bills suddenly increasing by tens of thousands of dollars. Based on my experience, I absolutely would not recommend this clinic.

They never answer the phone, and I felt they cared only about selling me egg freezing rather than what was best for me. The doctor was terrible and recommended IVF without even reviewing our test results.

I had an appointment at 8:00 a.m., but no one arrived at the office. It is now 8:45 a.m. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect for clients is unacceptable and does not meet good customer-service standards.

HRC is the most disorganized medical practice I have encountered, and the extreme carelessness I witnessed made an already painful IVF experience far worse. I recently read a news article reporting that HRC was sued for implanting the wrong embryo. I cannot link it here, but searching Google for "HRC wrong embryo" should find it. Given how incompetent their staff are, this does not surprise me at all. The practice has some positives: short waits, doctors who seem kind enough, and friendly nurses at the surgical center. However, these are outweighed by HRC's errors, which ranged from highly irritating, expensive, and inconvenient to emotionally traumatic. First, dealing with HRC's financial adviser was a nightmare. She made countless errors on my account that cost me extra money. It took substantial effort, including escalating some matters to management, to get anyone to acknowledge her mistakes. She forgot to issue an owed refund and failed to provide records and bills; I suspect she hoped I would overlook the extra charges. A simple question should not require multiple emails to receive an answer. Whenever I requested clarification or information or asked her to investigate a possible error, she either refused or gave an answer that appeared to be an outright lie, as shown when her manager provided a completely different explanation. She could only claim that a quote was "no longer valid," which was impossible given the timeframe. Other questions were simply ignored, or I was told to contact someone who never replied, replied weeks later without answering, or hung up. Their inability to communicate clearly or promptly is shocking. Although the billing and recordkeeping problems were frustrating and expensive, they pale beside the apparent extreme carelessness on the medical side. All treatment and medical communication went through a nurse coordinator, which was frustrating because she made many errors. I identified many and replied to her emails requesting clarification or correction, but these requests were often ignored or severely delayed. For example, she overordered nearly $1,000 of one medication. I emailed about it, but the question was avoided until my next office visit with her. When I pressed, she admitted that HRC "estimates" medication and often deliberately orders, and charges patients for, too much. I found no disclosure of this in their medical forms and was not told verbally. She then said my only option for the extra medication she ordered without my agreement was to sell it on the "black market." She even suggested Facebook groups as a good place to sell excess fertility medication. A PA gave me the same advice, making me think that miscalculating medication and encouraging patients to do something questionable and illegal to cover HRC's errors may be common practice there. She also failed to provide key details, including changes to treatment timing and schedules. Instead, she pretended this had always been the plan until forced to admit she changed things without telling me. I also had to remind her to send necessary laboratory request information for my treatment and testing and to perform other critical administrative duties. The final straw was an error in my transfer-procedure instructions. Again, the nurse coordinator failed to provide basic details about the requirement for taking Valium, leaving too little time to correct the error so I could take it during the extremely unpleasant and invasive procedure. This added unnecessary pain and trauma to an already stressful day.

I first went to HRC in July 2018. I had just been treated very improperly at Pacific Fertility, where they prescribed medication without bloodwork. I had already begun an egg-retrieval cycle and thought I might need to start over. In a panic, I saw Dr. David Tourgeman to learn whether the cycle could be saved. I was immediately impressed by his manner and knowledge. He took time to explain where I was in the cycle and how he and his team could help. He assigned me a team, and I received 24/7 care that made me feel like their only patient. We ultimately saved the cycle, and I was pleased with the egg-retrieval outcome. Years later, in April 2022, I returned to HRC and Dr. Tourgeman to use the eggs I had retrieved. We ultimately needed another retrieval and two transfers. I was very pleased with the care and outcome: spoiler alert, I became pregnant. He was not only very kind, as before, but the team assigned to me made me feel like their top priority. My care coordinator Mei was consistent and reliable. I could always count on her to answer my many questions and emails, usually within 24 hours and often within a few hours. My nurse Maria was always kind and professional. She drew my blood many times throughout the process and never hurt me; she has such a gentle touch with needles. Maira handled finances and was always helpful and answered my questions. I always understood the costs associated with my care. I highly recommend HRC, Dr. Tourgeman, and his team. They were very supportive and helpful. Dr. Tourgeman is attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and available. Most importantly, he assembled an incredible team that demonstrated the highest professionalism and dedication to my care.

I am not someone who writes negative reviews. We scheduled an appointment here several weeks ago. Before it, we went off-grid camping in Arizona. Without prior notice, they said we had to reschedule because we had not quarantined for 72 hours after returning to the state. We both had antibodies as well. They made us wait 30 minutes in the waiting room and pay $8 for parking before telling us. Having rules is fine, but it is completely unreasonable not to disclose them. The office was also dirty and dusty. Find somewhere else to spend thousands of dollars.

I am currently freezing my eggs with Dr. Mandelbuam at HRC Fertility, and I am extremely pleased with her and the entire staff. I am 37 and learned through this process that I have low ovarian reserve, so egg freezing has not been easy. I began at UCLA and found the process impersonal, expensive, and difficult. After transferring to HRC, I was struck by Dr. Mandelbuam’s attentiveness, knowledge, and kindness. At our first meeting, she spent more than an hour explaining the process and my condition in a way no one had before, using visuals. Dr. Mandelbuam performs every scan I need. After one cycle did not go as hoped, she personally called on a Friday evening to check on me. Whether you are freezing eggs with low ovarian reserve, undergoing IVF, or managing another infertility issue, this journey is very emotional, and you want someone like Dr. Mandelbuam on your team. She even invented a needle-free IVF catheter system, which is amazing for people uncomfortable injecting themselves day after day. Other staff, including her nurse Jasmine and financial counselor April, are kind, supportive, communicative, and helpful. Jasmine responds quickly by email or text to every question or concern. She explains how to take medications and even offered to FaceTime during my first dose to ensure I was comfortable. Everyone who drew my blood was wonderful. Special thanks to Leah at Encino Surgical Center, who held my hand during a painful ovarian cyst aspiration—my advice is to pay for anesthesia—and was exceptionally kind. In summary, I highly recommend HRC Fertility!

I had a wonderful experience freezing my eggs with Dr. Mandelbaum. She was very kind and took time with me. She performed every ultrasound herself and closely monitored me throughout the process. Her needle-free medication delivery system was amazing. I am very grateful that someone recommended her to me. 10/10.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Mandelbaum and her team. From the first consultation, she listened patiently to our concerns, clearly explained every option, and guided us through each step of the process. She was both compassionate and thorough, making what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and positive. The clinic staff were equally outstanding: professional, responsive, and always willing to answer questions promptly by phone or email. We greatly appreciated how organized the entire process was. Clear instructions and regular updates put us at ease and gave us confidence in our decisions. 10/10, highly recommend!
