We Know Infertility Can Be Challenging

Experienced Physicians

Drs. Schnorr, Cook, McLaughlin, Riestenberg, and Peterson are board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology. Together, they have more than 70 years of clinical experience at leading U.S. centers. They have performed more than 35,000 ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination cycles and 15,000 IVF and donor egg cycles, with pregnancy rates among the highest in the country. Their high pregnancy rates reflect their focus on both the clinical and laboratory aspects of care.

Drs. Schnorr, Cook, McLaughlin, Riestenberg, and Peterson also form the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), which U.S. News & World Report ranked the No. 1 hospital in South Carolina for the sixth consecutive year in 2020. Our affiliation with MUSC brings the resources of one of South Carolina’s leading universities to our practice.

State-of-the-Art Laboratory

We believe excellent pregnancy rates begin with an excellent embryology laboratory. A centralized laboratory allows us to focus our attention and resources on its continued development and improvement. Developing and maintaining a high-quality embryology laboratory is expensive and time-consuming, but our patients benefit, as our pregnancy rates demonstrate. Our high pregnancy rates are not accidental. We are among the few IVF centers with our own full-time, on-site laboratory director, Jeff Gray, PhD, HCLD, TS, who leads our laboratory with guidance from several off-site consultants.
