O Dr. Hickey é diretor do Hinsdale Center for Reproduction. Obteve seu bacharelado em psicologia pela Georgetown University e seu diploma de medicina pela Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine em 1984. De 1984 a 1988, retornou ao Georgetown University Medical Center, onde concluiu seu internato e residência em obstetrícia e ginecologia. Nesse período, recebeu o Resident Research Award.

De 1988 a 1990, concluiu uma especialização em endocrinologia reprodutiva e infertilidade no University of Southern California Medical Center.

O Dr. Hickey foi presidente da National Society of Reproductive Endocrinology Fellows no mandato de 1989–1990. É certificado e membro diplomado ativo do American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Também é membro da Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.

O Dr. Hickey é casado e tem três filhos. Quando não está no consultório, costuma ser encontrado em seu veleiro.

I am extremely frustrated with how things turned out. I really liked the doctor and was so hopeful, but unfortunately some people's egos got in the way of the bigger picture. I do not think they realize they are disrupting people's hopes and dreams. It is terrible when staff ruin everything for patients. They know exactly what I am talking about. I was also told I could not even come in to use the app if my insurance was not accepted there. A year later, I found out they were not in my "plan," sent me a $3,000 bill, and refused to send the insurer any more information explaining why the testing was done. The doctor is great, but the staff are not. Do not go!!

I was fortunate to find HCR. Everyone in the office is an angel sent by God. Dr. Hickey makes sure everything is explained and understood. I became pregnant within the first six months of seeing them.

Dr. Hickey, the nurses and nurse practitioners, and office manager Victoria went above and beyond to make one of the hardest journeys bearable. They are kind, attentive, and value each person and their individual circumstances. They help couples facing infertility make their dreams a reality. We were fortunate to have five children with their medical expertise and care!

Dr. Hickey and the entire HCR team are wonderful! They provide personalized, first-class care to every patient. The whole HCR team takes time to get to know you. Without them and Dr. Hickey's impressive surgical skill in treating my endometriosis, our IVF cycle would not have succeeded. Thank you to the entire team!
